Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan powerpoint interaktif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas X MAN 2 Lombok Tengah pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimental design dengan posttest-only control design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MAN 2 Lombok Tengah tahun ajaran 2024/2025 sebanyak 102 siswa, dengan sampel penelitian yang terdiri dari 33 siswa, yaitu 17 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 16 siswa pada kelas kontrol, yang ditentukan melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi modul ajar, lembar observasi, dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung = 2,133 > ttabel = 2,004. Sehingga, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai posttest antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, di mana rata-rata nilai posttest siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 78,24 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai rata-rata siswa pada kelas kontrol yang memperoleh sebesar 66,56, dengan pengaruh yang diberikan berada pada kategori sangat besar berdasarkan hasil uji effect size sebesar d= 1,232. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan powerpoint interaktif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas X MAN 2 Lombok Tengah tahun ajaran 2024/2025.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kolaborasi interprofesi meningkatkan kualitas perawatan diabetes melitus, tetapi persepsi antarprofesi bervariasi dan belum dievaluasi secara komprehensif. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi tenaga kesehatan terhadap implementasi kolaborasi interprofesi dalam penanganan pasien DM di Rumah Sakit Universitas Andalas (RS UNAND); Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian cross sectional dan teknik total sampling dengan jumlah 100 tenaga kesehatan yang terlibat dalam penanganan pasien DM di RS UNAND. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Collaborative Practice Assessment Tools (CPAT); Hasil: Hasil penelitian dikategorikan menjadi tiga yaitu tingkat persepsi tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan hasil tingkat persepsi seluruh tenaga kesehatan dikategorikan tinggi (100%); Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu secara umum, seluruh tenaga kesehatan memiliki tingkat persepsi tinggi terhadap kolaborasi interprofesi dalam penanganan pasien DM di RS UNAND. Sebagian besar tenaga kesehatan memiliki tingkat persepsi sedang dan rendah pada komponen persepsi pembuatan keputusan dan manajemen konflik.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the errors made by students in solving statistical word problems based on Newman's stages. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with the research sample consisting of Grade IX D students from SMPN 10 Mataram in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection was conducted through essay tests and interviews. The results showed that out of 32 students, 10 students (31%) were categorized as having a high level of errors, 15 students (47%) as having a moderate level of errors, and 7 students (22%) as having a low level of errors. The highest error occurred in the transformation stage (61%), followed by process skills (52%), encoding (50%), reading (43%), and comprehension (32%). This study highlights the importance of teaching approaches that can reduce student errors at these critical stages.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aimed to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on students problem solving ability in class VIII at MTs Negeri 5 Lombok Tengah for the academic year 2024/2025. Research with a quantitative approach that uses a quasi- experimental design, the experimental class learning using the guided inquiry learning model while the control class using direct learning. The population in this study was 5 class VIII students. The samples were taken using a simple random sampling technique, resulting in class VIII A as the experimental class and VIII B as the control class. Data collection was carried out using problem solving ability test questions. From the research results, it was found that there were differences between the experimental class and the control class. Judging from the average score of the experimental class 82,41 and the control class 73,81, this shows that the problem solving ability of the class whose learning uses guided inquiry is better than the class whose learning uses direct learning. The effect size test results obtained were 0,810, which is in the high category. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the guided inquiry learning model on mathematical problem solving in class VIII of MTs Negeri 5 Lombok Tengah in the high category.

Abstract

Background: Behçet's syndrome (BS) is a chronic inflammatory disorder characterized by recurrent oral and genital ulcers, uveitis, and skin lesions. Immunosuppressants and biologics are commonly used to manage BS, but their comparative efficacy and safety remain unclear. Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted in PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases from January 2013 to October 2024. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing immunosuppressants (azathioprine) and biologics (TNF-alpha inhibitors - infliximab, adalimumab, etanercept) in adult BS patients were included. The primary outcomes were clinical response rates (defined as improvement in disease activity scores) and adverse events. A random-effects model was used to calculate pooled odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Results: Six RCTs (n=785 patients) met the inclusion criteria. Biologics demonstrated significantly higher clinical response rates compared to immunosuppressants (OR 4.57, 95% CI 3.26-6.40, p<0.00001). Infliximab, adalimumab, and etanercept showed superiority over azathioprine (OR 4.40, 95% CI 2.33-8.30, p<0.00001; OR 5.51, 95% CI 2.86-10.61, p<0.00001; OR 4.19, 95% CI 2.54-6.92, p<0.00001, respectively). Adverse events were comparable between groups, with no significant difference in serious infections or malignancies. Conclusion: Biologics, particularly TNF-alpha inhibitors, are more efficacious than conventional immunosuppressants in inducing clinical response in BS, with similar safety profiles. These findings support the use of biologics as a first-line treatment option for moderate-to-severe BS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa kelas eksperimen yang diajar menggunakan model discovery learning dengan kelas kontrol yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran langsung di SMPN 23 Mataram tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eskperimen. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas IX SMPN 23 Mataram dengan total 40 siswa dan kelas dipilih secara acak, kelas IX A sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 20 siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran langsung, serta kelas IX B sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 20 siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran discovery learning. Setelah data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan representasi matematis, analisis awal dilakukan dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas untuk memenuhi asumsi uji t. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen, sehingga analisis dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan analisis data, rata-rata nilai kemampuan representasi matematis kelas eskperimen adalah 69 sedangkan kelas kontrol yaitu 52. Hasil uji t menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai kemampuan representasi matematis antara siswa kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Besar pengaruh menggunakan rumus effect size sebesar d = 1.339 yang artinya pengaruh yang diberikan memiliki kategori sangat tinggi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa kelas IX SMPN 23 Mataram.

Abstract

Low mathematical critical thinking skills remain a significant challenge in mathematics education. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by game card media on the mathematical critical thinking skills of eighth-grade students at SMPN 3 Mataram on the topic of the Pythagorean Theorem. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling, consisting of class VIII.2 as the experimental group and class VIII.3 as the control group. Data were collected through posttest instruments measuring four critical thinking indicators: interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. The results showed that the experimental class achieved a higher mean score (73.96) compared to the control class (65.23). Hypothesis testing using the pooled variance t-test yielded tcount = 4.601 > ttable = 2.008, leading to the rejection of H0. Furthermore, an effect size of 1.289 was obtained, categorized as large. These findings conclude that the implementation of the PBL model assisted by game card media significantly affects and provides a strong positive impact on students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the Discovery Learning learning paradigm, with Kahoot's assistance, affects the mathematical critical thinking abilities of SMAN 1 Utan class X pupils throughout the 2024/2025 academic year. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with a Post-test Only Control Group Design, involving two classes, namely the experimental class (X-6) and the control class (X-5). While the control class employs a traditional learning model, the experimental class uses the Discovery Learning learning paradigm with Kahoot's help. Post-test questions on critical thinking abilities and observation sheets for learning implementation serve as the research tools. According to the findings, the experimental class's average post-test score was 78.27, which was higher than the control class's average score of 64.89. A statistically significant difference between the two classes was revealed by the Mann-Whitney U test. With an effectiveness of 78.93%, the effect size (Cohen's d) of 0.80407 suggests a moderate effect. The experimental class is primarily in the very high category on the interpretation and evaluation indicators, while the control class is primarily in the high category on the analysis indicator and low on the inference indicator, according to the distribution of critical thinking ability categories by indicator. These results indicate that the use of Kahoot-assisted Discovery Learning can influence students' critical thinking abilities overall.
