Abstract

Laboratory-time studies to determine the duration of immersion of colchicine against growth of planlet (Krrysanthemum morifolim R) chrysanthemum varieties of in vitro way inpatients. The experiment was carried out at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Winaya Mukti from July to September 2017. The environmental design using Randomized Completely Random Design (RAL) consists of six treatments with 4 replications including: A (without colchicine immersion), B (immersion colcisin 1 hour, C (2-hour colchicine immersion), D (3-hour colchicine immersion), E (4-hour colchicine immersion) and F (5-hour colchicine immersion). The results showed that the duration of immersion of kolkisin on chrysanthemum varieties of pasopati in vitro gave a significant effect on the observation of the number of leaves aged 2 MST, 4 MST, 6 MST and 8 MST, the number of books aged 4 MST, 6 MST and 8 MST, root length , the number of roots as well as the height of the planlet. Immersion of 1 hour colchicine had a better effect on the observation of leaf count of age 2 MST, 4 MST, 6 MST and 8 MST, number of books aged 4 MST, 6 MST and 8 MST, root length, root number and plantlet height.

Abstract

The research was to study the effect of genotype rice plants and Paenibacillus Polymixa dose to growth, yields and genotype  tolerances to  BLB (Bacterial Leaf Blight) deseases.The research was conducted in the village Kedawung Majalaya Karawang District of West Java in the rainy season, from Januari 2015 until  Mei 2015.  The  experiment was  used Strip plots design with genotypes of rice was the main plot consist of  Sri Putih (v1), Manohara (v2) and  IR 64 (v3), subplots were doses paenybacilus polymixa (d1 ) Dose Paenybacillus polymixa 0 liters / ha, (d2) Dose Paenybacillus polymixa 2.5 liters / ha (5 ml / liter), (d3) Dose Paenybacillus polymixa 5 liters / ha (10 ml / liter) and (d4) Dose Paenybacillus pol ymixa 7.5 liters / ha (15 ml / liter).  The results of the experiment shosed that no interaction between the administration of the dose variation Paenybacillus polymixa with genotype rice plants against rice yields and not interaction between administration of the dose variation Paenybacillus polymixa with genotype rice plants to suppress the intensity of the attack Bacterial leaf blight disease. For the intensity of the disease, dose applications Paenybacillus polymixa 2.5 liters / ha (5 ml / liter) was effectively used during the vegetative age of 21, 28 and 35 days after planting.

Abstract

Abstract Pakcoy is a popular vegetable, besides being easy to cultivate, it also contains many benefits. In 2017-2019 Pakcoy production decreased. This is caused by several factors, one of which is the use of planting media and fertilization. The purpose of this experiment was to determine the interaction between the composition of the growing media and the concentration of complementary fertilizers on the growth and yield of pakcoy plants. This experiment was carried out in Sindanglaya Village, Tanjungsiang Disrtict, Subang Regency with an altitude of 700 meters above sea level an average daily temperature of 27.27ºC. The experiment was carried out in July-August 2020. The design used was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of two factors and repeated twice. The first factor is the composition of the planting medium (M) which consists of four levels, namely: m0 = (soil), m1 = (soil + sheep manure), m2 = (soil + cow manure), m3 = (soil + manure ) chicken). The second factor is the concentration concentration of bayfolan liquid complementary fertilizer (P) which consists of four levels, namely: p1 = (1 ml L-1), p2 = (2 ml L-1), p3 = (3 ml L-1), p4 = (4 ml L-1). The experimental results showed the interaction of planting media and bayfolan liquid complementary fertilizers on wet weight. Soil planting medium + chicken manure (m3) and liquid complementary fertilizer 2 ml L-1 (p2) showed the best results, namely 1.07 kg.

Abstract

The availability of nutrients and growth hormones will affect plant growth and yield. Experiments to study the effect of the interaction between cow manure dose and auxin concentration on the success of cuttings growth, growth and yield of Puspita Nusantara chrysanthemum flowers were carried out. The experimental design used was a factorial randomized block design. There are two treatment factors that were repeated 2 times. The first factor is the dose of manure consisting of four levels of 0 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1, 20 t ha-1, and 30 t ha-1. The second factor is the auxin concentration consisting of four levels, namely 0 ml L-1 solution, 1.3 ml L-1 solution, 2.6 ml L-1 solution and 3.9 ml L-1 solution. The results showed that there was an interaction between cow manure dose and auxin concentration on the number of leaves, stem diameter, number of flower buds, flower diameter, flower stalk length, and vaselife. Independently, the dose of cow manure 20 t ha—1, 30 t ha-1 and auxin concentration of 2.6 ml L-1 , 3.9 ml L-1 solution gave higher plant height than the control.

Abstract

Percobaan ini dilakukan di Desa Cikondang, Kecamatan Ganeas, Kabubaten Sumedang, dengan ketinggian tempat 500 meter di atas permukaan laut, ordo tanah Podsolik dan PH 4.5 – 6.5. Tujuan percobaan ini untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh pemberian konsentrasi pupuk hayati bioboost dan air kelapa terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada varietas grand rapids. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial yang terdiri dua faktor dan diulang dua kali. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk hayati bioboost (u) yang terdiri dari empat taraf, yaitu : u0 = 0 ml/L larutan, u1 = 25 ml/L larutan, u2 = 50 ml/L larutan, u3 = 75 ml/L larutan. Faktor kedua adalah air kelapa (a) yang terdiri dari empat taraf, yaitu : a0 = 0 ml/L larutan, a1 = 75 ml/L larutan, a2 = 150 ml/L larutan, a3 = 225 ml/L larutan. Hasil percobaan menunjukan bahwa terjadi interaksi terhadap (tinggi tanaman umur 35 HST, volume akar, bobot segar per plot dan nisbah pupus akar ) dan tidak terjadi interaksi (tinggi tanaman umur 14 HST, 21 HST, 28 HST, jumlah daun umur 14 HST, 21 HST, 28 HST, 35 HST, bobot segar per tanaman dan bobot kering )

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan media tanam yang mampu memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik terhadap anggrek Phalaenopsis fimbriata. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Screen house, Puskopad, Kecamatan Tanjungsari, Kabupaten Sumedang dengan ketinggian tempat 850 meter di atas permukaan laut (Mdpl). Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) sederhana dengan 4 ulangan dan 7 taraf, yaitu A = Sphagnum moss, B = Pakis, C = Akar Kadaka, D = Cocofiber, E = Sekam Bakar, F = Cocochip dan G = Hidrogel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: 1. Berbagai media tanam dapat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan benih anggrek Phalaenopsis fimbriata pada variabel pertumbuhan jumlah daun, panjang daun, lebar daun dan bobot segar.2. Media tanam akar kadaka memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik pada benih anggrek Phalaenopsis fimbriata pada variabel pertumbuhan jumlah daun, panjang daun, lebar daun dan bobot segar.

Abstract

Percobaan ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari komposisi media tanaman paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy. Percobaan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus sampai September 2020, di Lahan Percobaan Universitas Winaya Mukti, Sumedang. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam percobaan ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok sederhana, terdiri dari Komposisi Media Tanam tanah berbanding pupuk kandang ayam berbanding pupuk kandang domba dengan 5 taraf perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 5 kali sehingga terdapat 25 unit perlakuan, yaitu A = (Kontrol), B = 1:1:1, C = 2:1:1, D = 3:1:1, dan E = 4:1:1. Perlakuan komposisi media tanam D = 3:1:1 memberikan pengaruh paling baik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot basah dan bobot kering.

Abstract

Rice is a staple food source for the majority of Indonesian, so the availability of ready-to-plant rice seeds is absolutely necessary. However, the continuity supply of quality rice seeds can be hampered by dormancy. The seed dormancy period can be broken by chemical methods, one of which is using a KNO3 solution. This study aimed to study the interaction of soaking time and KNO3 concentration on viability and vigor of rice seeds. This research were conducted at the BPSBTPH Laboratory Region 1 Cianjur. The research methodology used is a factorial randomized block design (RCBD) consisting of two factors and repeated 4 times. The first factor is the length of soaking time which consists of three levels, namely the duration of soaking 1 day, 2 days and 3 days and the second factor which consists of three levels, namely the concentration of KNO3 2%, 3% and 4% so as to produce 9 treatment combinations. The results showed that there was no interaction in all the observation parameters, both on viability and vigor of the seeds. However, independently, the 1 day soaking time factor (l1) gave the best effect on germination, germination height and vigor index, the 2-day soaking time (12) treatment gave the best effect on growth speed and root length, while the 2% concentration of (k1) gave the best effect on germination and growth speed on the first day of observation.

Abstract

Abstract. Indonesia ranks 4th as the largest contributor to stunting after India, Nigeria, and Pakistan. Stunting is a major threat to the quality of Indonesian society. Not only does it interfere with physical growth, children also experience impaired brain development that will affect their abilities and achievements. Therefore, attention is needed by many parties to efforts to overcome stunting. The location of the targeted village in this activity is Haurngombong village, Pamulihan District, Sumedang Regency. The method of activity is in the form of observation and direct interviews in the field and counseling. The goal is to dig deeper into stunting conditions in the village, so that preventive measures can be determined, especially those based on food security. Abstrak. Indonesia menempati urutan ke-4 sebagai negara penyumbang stunting terbesar setelah India, Nigeria, dan Pakistan. stunting merupakan ancaman utama terhadap kualitas masyarakat Indonesia. Bukan hanya mengganggu pertumbuhan fisik, anak-anak juga mengalami gangguan perkembangan otak yang akan memengaruhi kemampuan dan prestasi mereka. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perhatian oleh banyak pihak terhadap upaya penanangan stunting. Lokasi desa yang menjadi sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah desa Haurngombong Kecamatan Pamulihan, Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode kegiatan berupa observasi dan wawancara langsung di lapangan dan penyuluhan. Tujuannya untuk menggali lebih dalam kondisi stunting di desa tersebut, agar bisa ditentukan langkah pencegahannya khususnya yang berbasis ketahanan pangan.
