Abstract

Education is part of a foundation in advancing a country. Education is made a big investment for developed countries. This of course relates to anyone who takes part in the scope of the unit. Currently, that education faces tremendous challenges, related to the quality of human resources. The human resources in question are the best teachers in improving the quality of education. In this regard, the type of research carried out is in the form of library research where the data sources are obtained through research journals, research reports, books and papers and the like that are library in nature. And the results of this study indicate that several things need to be pursued in improving the quality of education, namely, through an understanding for a teacher about the quality of himself that affects the quality of teacher professionalism. In addition, efforts to revise the teacher recruitment system must also apply the principles as they should.

Abstract

Drug abuse is a way of straying alienated from society. Every drug addict who completes the rehabilitation period still avoids rejection of the insurance he has and impacts others as his social environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the application of pedagogical concepts in the application of the self-concept of children who use drugs in the Pondok Ar-Rahman Islamic Boarding School in Palembang. This type of research is qualitative with a case study. The informants of this study were students of former drug users, teachers, and students. Data collected using observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using case study data analysis. The results showed that the self-concept factors of ex-drug user students felt a sense of approval and were easily fooled by friends. Regret and desire to improve themselves create an image supported by the support, family, and teachers. Contrary to self-concept is a matter of learning, the feeling of fear of being bullied, and not yet free from feelings of guilt. Positive self-concept of students is also supported by approval, motivation, and acceptance of assistance and school attendance to self-actualize through religious discussions, a strong willingness to overcome memories of his past through positive activities of performing five daily prayers, reciting, listening to lectures, and exercise and take part in sports extracurriculars at school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's thoughts on adolescent moral education in Islam in the modern era and its relevance in answering the problems of adolescent life. This research is a library research with the main source of the book Tarbiyah al-Aulad fi al-Islam written by Abdullah Nashih Ulwan. The analysis technique uses content analysis. This study found that first, five methods of moral education, namely the exemplary method; habituation; advice; attention and monitoring; and punishment. Second, deviations that occur in adolescents are caused by poverty, orphanage disasters, parental disharmony, divorce, poor parental treatment and example, excessive pampering of children, favoritism towards children, neglect of children's education, and negative associations. Third, the solution to the problems of Muslim youth is to provide religious education, provide a decent life, give responsibility for freedom, make teenagers comfortable, spend time together, and become friends.

Abstract

Sekolah negeri berlabel unggul yang digagas pemerintah di hampir setiap daerah menjadi masalah karena ketimpangan yang terjadi dengan sekolah lain yang berstatus tidak unggul. Jumlah pelajar menumpuk di sekolah unggul atau pavorit yang banyak menjadi incaran calon siswa baru. Menanggapi hal tersebut Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menetapkan Permendikbud Nomor 17 Tahun 2017 tentang Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru pada Taman Kanak Kanak, Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, Sekolah Menengah Atas, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan atau bentuk Lain Yang Sederajat. Peraturan PPDB Zonasi tersebut juga telah diperbaharui Permendikbud Nomor 44 Tahun 2019. Sistem zonasi di Kota Sekayu sudah dijalankan dan mengacu pada Peraturan Gubernur (Pergub) tentang Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru pada Sekolah Menengah Atas dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan (Peraturan Gubernur (PERGUB) NO. 8, BD.2020/NO. 9). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesulitan calon peserta didik baru untuk mendaftar sekolah di beberapa SMA yang terdapat di kota Sekayu. Salah satu sekolah yang sudah menerapkan PPDB online adalah SMA Negeri 2 Sekayu. Keunggulan SMA Negeri 2 Sekayu diantaranya adanya minat yang tinggi dari calon peserta didik, sarana dan prasarana lengkap dan memadai, tim IT yang proesional, letak sekolah strategis sehingga mudah dijangkau oleh transportasi umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengelolaan PPDB berdasarkan sistem zonasi yang meliputi: 1) perencanaan, 2) pengorganisasian, 3) pelaksanaan, 4) pengawasan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari kepala sekolah, ketua panitia PPDB, dan peserta didik baru. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) perencanaan kegiatan PPDB dilakukan sesuai juknis dari pemerintah, 2) pengorganisasian PPDB dilakukan pasca pembentukan panitian PPDB dan panitia PPDB dipilih berdasarkan pendidik dan tenaga pendidik yang mengusai ICT, 3) pelaksanaan PPDB dilakukan secara online mandiri maupun secara offline, 4) pengawasan PPDB dilakukan kepala sekolah dan panitia PPDB. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan PPDB dilaksanakan sesuai dengan petunjuk teknis (juknis) dari pemerintah, pendaftaran dilakukan secara online dan offline serta memberikan pelayanan yang prima kepada masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Kata kunci: pengelolaan; PPDB SMA di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin, PPDB; sistem zonasi Abstract State schools labeled as superior, which were initiated by the government in almost every region, became a problem because of the inequality that occurred with other schools with non-excellent status. The number of students piled up in superior or favorite schools which are the targets of many prospective new students. In response to this, the Ministry of Education and Culture stipulates Permendikbud Number 17 of 2017 concerning Admission of New Students to Kindergarten, Elementary School, Junior High School, Senior High School, Vocational High School or other equivalent forms. The PPDB Zoning Regulation has also been updated by Permendikbud Number 44 of 2019. The zoning system in Sekayu City has been implemented and refers to the Governor's Regulation (Pergub) concerning Admission of New Students at Senior High Schools and Vocational High Schools in South Sumatra Province (Governor Regulation (PERGUB) ) NO. 8, BD.2020/NO. 9). This research is motivated by the difficulty of prospective new students to register for school in several high schools in the city of Sekayu. One of the schools that has implemented PPDB online is SMA Negeri 2 Sekayu. The advantages of SMA Negeri 2 Sekayu include high interest from prospective students, complete and adequate facilities and infrastructure, a professional IT team, strategic location of the school so that it is easily accessible by public transportation. This study aims to describe the management of PPDB based on the zoning system which includes: 1) planning, 2) organizing, 3) implementing, 4) monitoring. This research is a qualitative research using data collection methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants consisted of the principal, the head of the PPDB committee, and new students. The results obtained in this study are: 1) PPDB activity planning is carried out according to technical guidelines from the government, 2) PPDB organizing is carried out after the formation of the PPDB committee and the PPDB committee is selected based on educators and educators who master ICT, 3) PPDB implementation is carried out independently or online. offline, 4) PPDB supervision is carried out by the school principal and the PPDB committee. The conclusion of this study is that the management of PPDB is carried out in accordance with technical instructions (juknis) from the government, registration is carried out online and offline and provides excellent service to the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kasus kompetensi guru Madrasah lebih umumnya guru pondok pesantren secara kompetensi tidak sebaik guru yang ada di sekolah umum. Khusus dalam penelitian ini yaitu kompetensi guru yang ada di Madrasah, dimana secara kelembagaan madrasah, mampu menghasilkan alumni-alumni yang berkualitas, namun jika diamati lebih dalam guru-guru yang ada kompetensi pendidikannya masih belum pada kualitas yang seharusnya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis kompetensi tenaga pedidik madrasah yang ada di Madrasah. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Adapun metode penelitian adalah metode kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari keseluruhan pemaparan bahwa para tenaga Pendidik di Madrasah masih mempunyai sisi lemah di bidang pengembangan kurikulum/Silabus dan rancangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran serta pemanfaatan sarana teknologi bagi guru-guru usia lanjut serta sistem mengajar yang harus dirubah, tidak lagi di dominasi dengan sistem satu arah namun harus sudah dua arah, dimana santri sebagai mitra belajar. Kompetensi akademik/profesional guru Madrasah belum begitu menguasai penelitian, sehingga penelitian yang bisa dilakukan hanya sebatas penelitian tindakan kelas. Kompetensi kepribadian tenaga pendidik sudah baik, hal ini dikarenakan, faktor lingkungan Madrasah yang mempengaruhi kepribadian tenaga pendidik untuk bersikap arif dan bijak, kemudian latar belakang tenaga pendidik yang pernah belajar di Madrasah waktu sekolah, tentu sudah membentuk karakter yang baik bagi pribadi tenaga pendidik. Kompetensi sosial sudah bisa dikatakan memiliki kompetensi sosial yang baik, hal ini tidak lepas daripada kompetensi pribadi guru, yang sebagian memiliki kemampuan di luar mengajar, yaitu bisa sebagai pendakwah, guru pengajian dan lain-lain, sehingga sering kali guru atau tenaga pendidik di Madrasah juga menjadi tokoh agama atau masyarakat di tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

Muhammad Iqbal And His Political Ideas. The emergence of the renewal idea of of a figure can not be separated from social conditions wherever they live. Similarly, Muhammad Iqbal with his thoughts has been able to bring influence on political reform in Islam. One of his ideas is the will to establish an islamic state for Muslims in India separated from the Hindus. He believes that Muslims in India is a nation based on the bond of brotherhood among Muslims. From this article it was found that the emergence of this idea is influenced by the decline of the Muslims because of the stagnation in ijtihad. Although Iqbal did not realize his willing during hislifetime, but after 25 years of his death, Iqbal’s struggle finally became real with the establishment of the Islamic state of Pakistan by Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Because of his ideas and struggle, Muhammad Iqbal later is called as the father of Pakistan, because he is actually the designer of the initial establishment of the Islamic state of Pakistan separated from India.
