Abstract

This study aims at identifying the radicalism potential in senior high school students or equivalent levels including secondary schools and vocational schools in Riau Province. This study uses a survey design involving 230 students selected through random sampling consisting of 65 senior high school students, 100 vocational high school students, and 65 Islamic senior high school students. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings showed the radicalism potential of 20% in secondary school students, of 30.5% in vocational school students, and of 19.8% in Islamic secondary school students. Around 23.4% of the students were identified to have radicalism potential such as having fundamentalist behavior. The percentage obtained in this study is hoped to encourage the teaching of religious tolerance, universal morality, and formal education. Another implication for the people who are related to the education of youth is that they should pay more attention more to difficult social issues, especially those that are relevant to the use of social media.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi radikalisme pada siswa SMA/MA di Provinsi Riau. Designm penelitian ini menggunakan survey melibatkan 230 siswa yang diambil secara random sampling yang terdiri dari 65 siswa SMA, 100 siswa SMK, dan 65 SMA Islam. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi radikalisme pada siswa SMA 20%, siswa SMK 30,5%, dan siswa MAN Islam 19,8%. Sekitar 23,4% siswa diidentifikasi memiliki potensi radikalisme seperti berperilaku fundamentalis. Persentase yang didapat dalam penelitian ini kurang sehingga diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan pengajaran tentang pentingnya toleransi beragama, akhlak, dan pendidikan formal. Implikasi lain bagi masyarakat yang terkait denganperan pemuda harus lebih memperhatikan kisruh yang ada, terutama yang relevan dengan penggunaan media sosial di era milenial ini

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum selalu terjadi menyesuaikan kebutuhan dan kondisi di lapangan. Mendikbud langsung meluncurkan program Merdeka belajar, hal ini disambut dengan kondisi dilapangan yang serba mengkhawatirkan karena adanya musibah yang melanda tidak hanya Indonesia tetapi juga dunia. Musibah tersebut yaitu berupa pandemic corona yang sangat mempengaruhi sendi-sendi kehidupan termasuk ekonomi, pendidikan. Tentu program ini sangat terkait dengan adanya penggunaan dan pemanfaat tekhnologi informasi dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Untuk mendukung program merdeka belajar maka pengabdi ingin melakukan pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis pemanfaatan tekhnologi informasi dalam pembelajaran. Dalam pengabdian ini akan melibatkan para guru di Pelalawan. Pelatihan ini memberikan implikasi bagi guru SD untuk memanfaatkan TIK dalam pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Riau is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a distinctive culture including the diversity of cuisines and culinary specialties that characterize the culture of the Malay tribe. Rokan Hulu is one of the regencies in Riau which has a special culinary made from durian which is commonly called kokek sour durian. The introduction of the durian sour cocktail was carried out to students at the Vocational High School level, this was done to reintroduce the traditional Rokan Hulu cuisine to young people so they would not be forgotten. The approach method is descriptive qualitative by means of Participatory Action Research (PAR) which aims to learn in solving problems and meeting the practical needs of the community, as well as the production of knowledge. A total of 25 students took part in the kokek cooking training and 92% agreed that this training was very helpful in introducing the durian sour cocktail to students at SMK Zaidar Yahya

Abstract

Tolerance in social life is a need for Indonesian citizens. However, cases of intolerance and violence in the name of religion frequently occur in socia life and might influence students at university This research aims to assess the level of religious moderation comprehension among students at UIN (Universitas Islam Negeri/State Islamic University) Suska Riau through group counseling sessions. The study utilized a quantitative approach, employing a descriptive pre-experimental Intack Group Comparison design. The findings revealed that students' understanding of a moderate attitude significantly increased after participating in group counseling on moderation, with a positive score of 97.5% and a negative score of 2.4%. The inclusion of religious moderation as a theme in group counseling positively impacted students' comprehension and attitude towards religious moderation within society. Notably, two indicators, national commitment and tolerance, exhibited the most significant improvements, with respective increases of 35% and 29%. These results suggest that employing group counseling centered around religious moderation can serve as a model for enhancing students' understanding of religious moderation in society.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesan guru terhadap program inservice training yang telah dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Peserta yang mengikuti program pengabdian terdiri dari 25 orang guru di SMA Negeri 1 Ujung Batu. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan SPSS versi 26 for windows. Penilaian kesan program pengabdian terdiri dari 3 konstruk yang mana hasil dari konstruk materi diperoleh rata-rata 4.21 dengan kategori baik, konstruk penyampaian materi diperoleh rata-rata 4.36 dengan kategori baik dan konstruk diskusi/ tanya jawab diperoleh rata-rata 3.07 dengan kategori baik. Sehingga dapat ditarik sebuah kesimpulan bahwa program inservice training implementasi pembelajaran daring bagi guru di masa pandemi memiliki kesan yang baik bagi peserta

Abstract

This research investigates the understanding of religious moderation among teachers and students in the context of Islamic Religious Education. The results of this research are based on data analysis from a survey conducted in junior high schools. The research results show that the majority of teachers and students have a positive attitude towards religious moderation, including acceptance of state ideology, respect for ideological diversity, and an attitude that rejects violence on the basis of religion. Apart from that, they also show tolerance towards different local cultures. These findings have important implications in the educational context, especially in efforts to increase understanding of religious moderation among the younger generation.

Abstract

As part of the skills demographic bonus towards ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), student preparation still needs to be improved, especially in entrepreneurship skills. The purpose of this research is to find out the entrepreneurial abilities of Universitas Terbuka students and how to improve these abilities. This research was conducted through a mixed methods design consisting of two survey research designs that aim to clearly map and make recommendations from students regarding entrepreneurial skills. This research involved 730 students at the Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation which were then analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results of the study showed that: i) Students’ entrepreneurial abilities are categorized as good; and ii) Gender affects students’ entrepreneurial abilities. Therefore, it needs support and concrete steps from stakeholders in welcoming the AEC. There are several necessary steps carried out by faculty leaders and the chancellor so that students have the desire to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, including: by conducting regular monitoring and evaluation of Universitas Terbuka students, providing reward and punishment and equal justice without discrimination and providing training in accordance with their fields, giving permission to continue studies and provide training that can support good performance by coordinating and evaluating work.

Abstract

The objectives of the Pancasila student profile are a number of characters and competencies that are expected to be achieved by students, which are based on the noble values of Pancasila. The purpose of this article is to measure the Pancasila student profile at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Riau Province and to find out its effect through the use of webtoon-based online comics. This study conducted a quantitative descriptive approach and focus group discussions in six State MTs. The research instrument used in this study was a Pancasila student profile questionnaire, which was distributed to students. The findings show the six indicators and their implementation in each madrasa. The six MTs in this study were categorized as very good, which indicated the need to increase Pancasila student profile. There are considerable disparities in indices of religion, fear of God Almighty, and noble character, global variety, mutual collaboration, independence, critical thinking, and creativity for Pancasila student profile policies. The use of webtoon-based online comics in measuring the Pancasila student profile studied in this study is based on madrasa policy and it has not been thoroughly tested in all MTs in Riau Province. Furthermore, it can consider its use in a wider Madrasah Tsanawiyah frame. MTs in Indonesia can measure the Pancasila student profile through the use of webtoon-based online comics to achieve student character standards that are in line with educational goals in Indonesia. This research provides a webtoon-based online comic framework to measure the Pancasila student profile.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendidikan ibadah dalam AlQuran, hakikat pendidikan, hakikat ibadah dan beberapa ayat yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan ibadah. Pendidikan adalah kegiatan mendidik yang dilakukan dengan rencana yang matang, sungguh-sungguh dan terprogram. Ibadah adalah seluruh aktivitas seseorang yang dicintai dan diridhai Allah. Tulisan ini bersifat analisis konseptual, dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Dapat diketahui bahwa implikasinya dalam dunia pendidikan adalah pengelolaan dan penyelenggaraan pendidikan harus diarahkan kepada pembentukan kesadaran dan pengakuan akan fungsi manusia sebagai hamba Allah yaitu beribadah. Diharapkan manusia menyadari bahwa Pendidikan merupakan salah satu bentuk ibadah kepada Allah.
