Abstract

A growth attitude is crucial for any teacher, as it can serve as a motivating factor when confronted with changes in the curriculum. This research aims to identify the school principal's strategy for enhancing teachers' growth attitudes to accomplish the Merdeka curriculum vision at SD Anak Saleh Kota Malang. This study employs a qualitative methodology, specifically utilizing a case study design. Research indicates that teachers have a growth mindset, which is characterized by their willingness to embrace change, their commitment to self-improvement, their positive reactions to changes in the curriculum, and their dedication to lifelong learning. The principal strategy in optimizing the growth mindset of teachers as an effort to realize the vision of an independent curriculum at SD Anak Saleh Malang City, include holding weekly meetings, supporting teacher scientific upgrades, monitoring teacher performance consistently, and applying the principle of alignment. The indicators of the success of developing a teacher's growth mindset are teacher intention in teaching, high teacher responsibility, and a pleasant learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Community service activities with the theme of training in developing teaching modules based on the implementation of the "Merdeka" curriculum for elementary school teachers in the Bantur District, Malang Regency. The objectives of this activity are to assist teachers in developing teaching modules based on the implementation of the "Merdeka" curriculum, to assess the performance level of the resource persons, and to assess the performance level of the organizing committee. The community service activities were conducted through several methods including lectures, discussions, Q&A sessions, modeling, demonstrations, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and assignments. Participants consisted of 103 teachers from grades 2 and 5. Supporting instruments for this community service include pre-test and post-test sheets, and program evaluation questionnaires. The training material covers the implementation of the "Merdeka" curriculum, characteristics of learning in the "Merdeka" curriculum, and the development of assessment instruments for student learning outcomes. The results of this training indicate a 35.7% improvement in teachers' ability to develop teaching modules, 56.31% performance level of the resource persons in assisting participants categorized as good, and 74.76% performance level of the organizing committee categorized as very good.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pendampingan peningkatan kemampuan layanan prima melalui metode face to face berbasis hands on ditujukan untuk alumni Departemen AP FIP UM dalam rangka menyongsong kesiapan alumni saat bekerja di lembaga kependidikan. Tujuan kepenulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian, serta sebagai bahan evaluasi reflektif. Metode yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini terbagi menjadi dua fase yakni face to face based hands on dan evaluasi kegiatan. Face to face based hands on dilaksanakan melalui ceramah, tanya jawab, sharing experience, dan pelaksanaan workshop. Evaluasi pelaksanaan program dan tindak lanjut dilaksanakan melalui (1) evaluasi proses dan (2) evaluasi hasil. Peserta pelatihan ini adalah 25 alumni Departemen AP FIP UM yang telah bekerja dan mempersiapkan diri untuk masuk ke dunia kerja. (1) ketepatan bahan materi memproleh mayoritas 36% sangat setuju, (2) kemenarikan penyamapaian materi 48%, dan (3) ketepatan alokasi waktu 76%. Berlandaskan evaluasi hasil yang ada memperoleh data berupa (1) 28% peserta sangat setuju pendampingan mampu meningkatkan softskill, (2) 28 % sangat setuju pendampingan mampu meningkatkan produktivitas kerja, dan (3) 48% pendampingan mampu meningkatkan mutu lembaga Pada kegiatan selanjutnya tim pengabdian perlu untuk memasukkan kegiatan ice breaking untuk memperbaiki evaluasi proses dan memperluas cakupan materi pada irisan manajemen perkantoran untuk memperbaii evaluasi hasil. Secara prediktif, dari kristalisasi yang dilaksanakan pencipataan layanan prima oleh peserta di lembaga pendidikan masing-masing dinilai mampu melahirkan customer loyalty dan customer satisfaction.
