Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student interest in identifying the intrinsic elements of a play. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability to identify intrinsic element plays eighth graders MTs TI Batang Kabung Padang of City. This research is a quantitative research using descriptive methods. The population in this study is the eighth grade students of MTs TI Batang Kabung Padang numbering 110 people. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling which amount to 32 people. The results showed that the ability of eighth graders MTs TI Batang Kabung Padang of City identify intrinsic elements of the drama script by using the technique of inquiry are the qualifications Good (B) with an average value of 76 is in the range 76-85. Picture of students ability to identify the elements intrinsic drama script as follows: (1) the ability of students to identify elements of the theme are the qualifications More than Enough (LC). (2) the ability of students to identify elements of the mandate is at qualifying Both (B). (3) the ability of students to identify the elements that are in the qualification Good (B). (4) The ability of students to identify the elements that are in the qualifying groove More Than Enough (LC). (5) The ability of students to identify the elements that are in the background plays qualifier More Than Enough (LC).

Abstract

Indeed Houses, a novel set in Minangkabau calture that many tradisional Minangkabau describe the problem. This study was conducted to describe the traditional Minangkabau values contained in the novel. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. This research is used to describe the data contained in the novel. Data collocted by the steps: (1) read and understand the novel, (2) quotation marks, (3) inventory of data, (4) to classify the data. Based on the description of the data and the results of this study concluded that the traditional Minangkabau values contained in the novel, namely, marriange matrilineal, mamak roles and marriagebetween ethnic groups in Indonesia. (1) matrilineal marriage is a marriage with close relative such as child marriage with the niece or home kebako. (2) mamak role in Minangkabau is a guard treasures and meet all the needs of his nephew, such as school fees, and matrilineal problems. (3) inter-ethnic marriages are prohibited in Minangkabau in Indonesia because it can damage the system and the pattern of Minangkabau customs.

Abstract

Penulisan skripsi ini berjudul “Analisis Gangguan Kejiwaan Tokoh Gambir dalam Novel Pintu Terlarang Karya Sekar Ayu Asmara”. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah : 1) apakah ciri-ciri gangguan kejiwaan tokoh Gambir dalam novel Pintu Terlarang karya Sekar Ayu Asmara?,  2) apakah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi gangguan kejiwaan tokoh Gambir dalam novel Pintu Terlarang karya Sekar Ayu Asmara? Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah: 1) untuk mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri gangguan kejiwaan tokoh Gambir dalam novel Pintu Terlarang karya Sekar Ayu Asmara, 2) mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab gangguan kejiwaan tokoh Gambir dalam novel Pintu Terlarang karya Sekar Ayu Asmara.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan psikologi sastra. Sumber data yaitu novel Pintu Terlarang karya Sekar Ayu Asmara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kepustakaan. Metode kepustakaan dilakukan dengan cara mengambil beberapa referensi sebagai acuan.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Gambir dalam novel Pintu Terlarang karya Sekar Ayu Asmara mengalami ganguan kejiwaan. Gangguan jiwa yang dialami Gambir adalah gangguan jiwa skizofrenia. Adapun ciri-ciri skizofrenia yaitu kekacauan pikiran, kekacauan afektif, penarikan diri dari realita dan halusinasi. Faktor yang menyebabkan Gambir gangguan jiwa adalah faktor psikologis. Hal itu terjadi karena Gambir sering mengalami kekerasan dalam rumah tangga.

Abstract

Masalah pokok penelitian ini adalah citra perempuan Minangkabau, yang terdapat dalam novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah karya Hamka. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan citra perempuan Minangkabau dalam novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah karya Hamka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan citra perempuan Minangkabau dapat dilihat dari perbuatan dan perilaku tokoh yang berupa ucapan, dan peristiwa yang dilakukan oleh tokoh-tokoh perempuan dalam novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah karya Hamka. Citra perempuan Minangkabau secara individu yang diperankan oleh tokoh yaitu dari perilaku yang ditampilkan oleh tokoh Zainab, Rosna, Mak Asiah, dan ibu Hamid sosok perempuan Minangkabau yang dipandang mulia dari kehidupan bermasyarakat yang bisa menjaga nama baik (martabatnya) sebagai perempuan Minangkabau. Sedangkan citra perempuan sebagai anggota masyarakat yang diperan oleh tokoh dalam novel Di Bawah Lindungan Ka’bah karya Hamka yaitu perempuan Minangkabau yang memiliki sifat kepemimpinan yang dapat ditiru oleh masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan konflik yang dialami manusia dalam kehidupan. Konflik dialami oleh tokoh-tokoh di dalam novel Lampuki karya Arafat Nur. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian mengenai multikonflik dalam novel Lampuki karya Arafat Nur. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk; mendeskripsikan konflik-konflik yang terdapat dalam novel Lampuki karya Arafat Nur, dan mendeskripsikan penyebab konflik-konflik yang terjadi dalam novel Lampuki karya Arafat Nur.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis konflik yang terdapat dalam novel Lampuki karya Arafat Nur adalah sebagai berikut:konflik interindividu, konflik antarindividu, dan konflik antarkelompok sosial. Kemudian penyebab konflik dalam novel Lampuki karya Arafat Nur disebabkan oleh perbedaan antaranggota masyarakat, perbedaan pola kebudayaan, perbedaan status sosial, perbedaan kepentingan antarkelompok masyarakat, dan terjadinya perubahan sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan relasi gender antara laki-laki dengan perempuan Minangkabau yang tidak mencerminkan relasi gender ideal menurut tatanan adat matrilineal di dalam novel berjudul Perempuan Batih karya A.R Rizal. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan maskulinitas laki-laki Minangkabau ditinjau dari, a) relasi kekuasaan (power relation); b) relasi produksi (production relation); dan c) cathexis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi yang bersifat deskriptif. Temuan hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga hal. Pertama, ditinjau dari aspek relasi kekuasaan (power relation), maskulinitas tokoh cerita bernama Darso bersifat hegemonik yang terbentuk oleh kekuasaan mutlak sebagai suami—kekuasaan hegemonik tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh Darso untuk mengatur, menguasai, serta mendapatkan posisi superior di atas posisi istrinya yang subordinat. Kedua, maskulinitas hegemonik juga diwujudkan oleh Darso dalam perkawinannya dengan Gadis melalui pengaturan jenis dan regulasi pekerjaan antara suami dengan istri dalam rumah tangga yang sangat mencerminkan pensubordinasian kaum perempuan. Ketiga, maskulinitas hegemonik dalam perkawinan juga diwujudkan oleh Darso dengan cara mengendalikan secara sepihak hak-hak untuk menambah jumlah anak dan kebebasan suami menuntut kembali pemenuhan kebutuhan biologis kepada istri yang telah ditinggalkan selama belasan tahun tanpa status perceraian yang sah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of gender inequality issues in women's lives that are still often reported by the mass media. Among the mass media that reported this was the daily newspaper Kompas, especially in an opinion piece entitled Perempuan dan Mimpinya published on June 6, 2024. Based on the background of the problem depicted in the Women and Their Dreams (Perempuan dan Mimpinya) opinion, the purpose of writing this article is to describe how women are viewed by the mass media and their relationship to the current social reality of society. The collection of research data was carried out using reading techniques, including the steps of reading carefully and repeatedly the opinions that were the source of research data, marking vocabulary, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs that were in accordance with the criteria of the research problem, recording and inventorying them in an inventory table. The data was analyzed using an interactive method to reveal the position of women behind the text Women and Their Dreams (Perempuan dan Mimpinya) and its relationship to the current social reality of society. Analysis of the research data shows three things. First, the position of the subject in the discourse of the Perempuan dan Mimpinya opinion is occupied by the author who acts as the storyteller, while the position of the object is occupied by women. Second, the author tries to direct the reader to become the actor of the story by presenting a pseudo reality and cultural code in the text that seems to be the reality in the reader's real life. Third, the meaning of the entire discourse of opinion on Women and Their Dreams shows that in the domestic and public spaces women are still not fully able to become a gender group that is equal to the masculine gender group.

Abstract

In the context of communication needs in public spaces, the role of a Master of Ceremony (MC) is currently considered very important, not only for informal events, but also for very formal events. It is said that because in official events, the MC is the spearhead who delivers or guides the event, from the opening to the closing of the event. Based on this idea, Master of Ceremony (MC) training for important official events is given to all parties who have an interest in this, including teachers at SD IT Ar Royan Padang. The official MC training activity was given to six teachers at SD IT Ar Royan through lecture methods and practical methods or performance for two days. After completing the training, it was clear that there were three main problems faced by the six training participants, namely a) their ability to manage their vocals was not optimal; b) body language that is not in accordance with the performance needs of an MC at an official event; and c) inadequate mastery of Indonesian grammar. The implication of the results of this activity is that it is important for SD IT Ar Royan to hold similar training activities with more varied methods and approaches.

Abstract

his research was conducted to determine the ecological aspects of literary works contained in the collection of Baromaban poems by Iyut Fitra from the perspective of literary eco-criticism. The purpose of this study is to describe the cultural ecology depicted in Iyut Fitra's Baromban poetry collection which is described in Iyut Fitra's Baromban poetry collection. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method. The data in this study are array quotes contained in the collection of Baromban poems by Iyut Fitra which contain aspects of literary ecology. The data source in this research is a collection of Baromban poems by Iyut Fitra. Based on the analysis related to the data, it can be concluded that the first three things are related to technology, production or exploitation of resources and the environment. secondly, the pattern of community action in exploiting and producing resources using the technology they have. third Patterns of behavior in society that affect other cultural aspects such as; Value systems, belief systems and religious systems.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the problems of cultural ecology that are depicted in the collection of poems After the Arena by Esha Tegar Putra. To find out the description of these problems, this research method is a qualitative research using a descriptive analysis approach. The data in this study are excerpts of poetic texts in the form of words, phrases, sentences in the array and stanza units of each poem in the collection After the Arena by Esha Tegar Putra. Based on the analysis of the data, it can be concluded three things. First, the link between technology, production or exploitation of resources and the environment. Second, the pattern of community action in exploiting and producing resources using the technology they have. Third, patterns of behavior in society that affect other cultural aspects such as; Value systems, belief systems and religious systems.
