Abstract

This research is distributed by the conflict in and around the maze of life of a character named Fanton Drummond are often faced with a less supportive environment desires. Formulation of this research is "how the psychology of character in a novel Olenka Fanton Drummond works Budi Darma review of aspects of the id, ego, and superego?" The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the conflict of the main character works Budi Darma novel Olenka review of aspects of the id, ego, and superego using the theory proposed by Sigmund Freud.This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The data in this study in the form of text and dialogue monologue sentences. Data sources of this study is novel Olenka Budi Darma work. The research was carried out by stages: (1) read and understand the novel Olenka work Budi Darma, (2) identify and classify the data contained in the novel Olenka work Budi Darma, (3) determine the aspects of the conflict of the id, ego, and superego, (4 ) analyzing the data, (5) prove and formulate conclusions.Analysis of the data showed that the main character (Fanton Drummond) conflict, (1) aspects of id make Fanton Drummond has desires that are wild and not terkonrol to Olenka and MC, (2) aspects of the ego makes Fanton Drummond became hard to maintain figure impact on the opinion itself, (3) aspects of the superego made aware of his mistake Fanton Drummond who maintains his ego has been to make Fanton Drummond stuck into a variety of difficult situations. Suggestions in this study are not expected for readers concerned with the ego, and the balance between the id, ego, and superego.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the values of moral Marja character in the novel Manjali and Cakrabirawa works Ayu Utami. The values associated with: (1) conscience, (2) freedom and responsibility, (3) the rights and obligations, (4) values and norms. This research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. Results of this study are the moral values associated with Marja figures: (1) conscience can be seen from the attitude the Marja has been two-timing guilt password Yuda, (2) freedom and responsibility can be seen from the attitude of Marja in the association of free and used sleep with the ooposite sex, (3) the rights and obligations can be seen from Marja desire to learn the history of science, (4) the values and norms can be seen from the attitude Banaspatih Marja who believe the myth. Based on these results we can some suggestions as follows: (1) teachers, especially in literary appreciation that learning can moral values to students on how to behave, act, and how to interact in society, (2) the reader, can increase understanding of the literature, (3) further research, can do research on this novel with a different aspect or aspects of the same with a different novel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hal-hal sebagai berikut (1) kurangnya rasa pecaya diri siswa dalam bermain drama (2) kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran memerankan drama ditinjau dari penggunaan lafal, intonasi, gestur dan ekspresi (3) siswa kesulitan dalam menghafal naskah drama. (4) kurangnya buku-buku penunjang tentang pembelajaran drama. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini kelas XI SMA N 1 Siberut Utara yang terdaftar pada tahun 2013/2014. Dari hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan in dikator,maka dapat diambil kesimpulan nilai rata-rata siswa pada indikator 1 atau kemampuan dalam indikator aspek lafal diperoleh mean (M) 71.67 berada pada lebih dari cukup (LDC). Pada indikator 2 atau kemampuan siswa dalam indikator aspek intonasi diperoleh mean(M) 63.33% berada pada cukup (C). Pada indikator 3 atau kemampuan siswa dalam aspek indikator gestur diperoleh mean (M) 60 berada pada cukup (C). Pada indikator 4 atau kemampuan siswa dalam aspek indikator ekspresi diperoleh mean (M) 64.16 berada pada cukup (C).

Abstract

This researeh is relid on the moral values, social, social volues, intelektual values and religious values. The purpose of the researeh is to deseribe educational values of choldren shortstories in mogazine ummi from the result of the researeh we can concllude that children short stories in magazine ummi heve moral, social, intelektual, and religios values. Moral values contain keeping promise end gorgeus. Intelektual values contain keping promiet the wise end gorgeus. Intelektual values contain eritical thinking. Logical thinking, engcreative thingking critical thingking is that the children consee clearly and fast the wrong things. Logical thingking is that the children can see the relationship between problems fast. Creative thingking is that the chil dren can find something new from researeh and experiment they do. Social values inelude patience, mutual assistance, sy mpaty, hospitaling andrespectfulness. Meanwhile the religious values are thanking to Allah Swt and ashing for help.

Abstract

The aim of research was to describe the types, the causes, and the effect of violence against the female figures in the collection of short stories Sagra written by Oka Rusmini. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive analysis method. The data of the research was in the form of words, sentences and dialogs related to the types, causes and effects of the violence against the female figures in the collection  of short stories Sagra written by Oka Rusmini involving characterization, settings, themes and plots elements. Based on the result of data analysis and discussion, it was concluded that  theree were there kids of violence occurred in the collection of short stories including physical and sexual abuses, and economic negligence which had made women suffered  from mental pressure. Furthermore, the violence was triggered by the external factors such as those relat5ed to husband and wife authorities, and discrimination of gender in a society. The effect of the violence against the female figures was the physical or mental disadvantages. This was chosely related to the physical condition of the respective female figure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan mengenai keunikan watak tokoh utama dalam novel Perahu Kertas karya Dewi Lestari. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan watak tokoh utama novel Perahu kertas Karya Dewi Lestari. Penelitian ini difokuskan kepada watak tokoh utama novel Perahu Kertas Karya Dewi Lestari. Watak tokoh utama tersebut yang berhubungan dengan tiga aspek jiwa yaitu: (1) emosional, (2) secundair (pengiring), (3) aktif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  metode deskriptif analisis. Data dalam  penelitian ini berupa kata-kata, kalimat dan dialog yang berhubungan dengan watak tokoh utama. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Perahu Kertas karya Dewi Lestari. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian  dapat diketahui bahwa watak tokoh utama yang ditemukan melalui tiga aspek jiwa tersebut yaitu: (1) emosional memiliki sifat mudah marah dan fantasinya kuat, (2) secundair (pengiring) memiliki sifat  konsekuen, setia dalam persahabatan, betah di rumah, (3) aktif memiliki sifat  mudah bertindak, riang gembira, dan mudah mengatasi kesulitan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tiga hal sebagai berikut. Pertama, siswa kurang mampu dalam memahami puisi. Kedua, kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan tema, diksi dan citraan yang cocok dengan puisi. Ketiga, siswa lebih senang menghafal pengertian dan teori puisi daripada memahami puisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan memahami puisi siswa kelas X SMP Negeri 35 Padang (2) mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 35 Padang dan (3) mendeskripsikan hubungan kemampuan memahami puisi dengan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 35 Padang.Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 35 Padang, dengan sampel berjumlah 32 orang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui dua jenis tes yaitu tes objektif dan tes menulis. Tes objektif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kemampuan memahami puisi sedangkan tes menulis digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data keterampilan menulis puisi.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan hal-hal berikut. Pertama, rata-rata tingkat kemampuan memahami puisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 35 Padang berada pada kualifikasi baik (83,25%). Kedua, rata-rata keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 35 Padang berada pada kualifikasi baik (78,95%). Ketiga, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan memahami puisi dengan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 35 Padang.

Abstract

This research the purpose of this research to describe Islam value’s deviation in Orang-orang Blanti’s  novel work by Wisran Hadi. The Islam value relate with: (1) Islam value’s deviation which interrelated whit moral  in novel of Orang-orang Blanti that a by work Wisran Hadi, (2) Islam value’s deviation which interrelatet whit fait in novel Orang-orang Blanti that a work by Wisran Hadi, (3) Islam value’s deviation which interrelatet whit Islam law in novel Orang-orang Blanti that a work by Wisran Hadi. The type of this research is qualitative research. Medhod base of research analysis is found Islam value’s deviation is based on moral, faith, Islam law.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the main character of moral values associated with a conscience, freedom and responsibility, rights and obligations, as well as the values and norms in the novel Pada Sebuah Kapal by Nh. Dini. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods . Object of this research is the novel Pada Sebuah Kapal by Nh. Dini. The data in this study in the form of words, sentences and dialogue related to the moral character of Sri and Michael. Sources of data in this study is novel Pada Sebuah Kapal by Nh. Dini. The results of this study demonstrate the value of the moral protagonist can be seen from the actions and behavior of characters in the form of speech, and events that made the main character played by individual leaders in Sri novel Pada Sebuah Kapal by Nh. Dini related to : (1) conscience, (2 ) freedom and responsibility, (3) the rights and obligations, (4) values and norms.

Abstract

This Study hav some backgrounds, th first, different characters of human caused a conflict happened in th figures’s life named Raras in tabularasa novel created by Ratih Kumala revealed the conflicts in a figure’s life named Raras who is against the surrounding where it did’nt support her personality. The third, the heart conflict is usually not really a part from psychological aspect of the figure, they are id, ego and super ego. The purpose of this research are (1) describing the caused of the figure’s Raras heart conflicts in tabularasa novel by Ratih Kumala, (2) describing th matter that influenced of the figure’s Raras heart conflict in tabularasa novel Ratih Kumala. This kind of the research is a qualitative by using descriptive method. The data in the research are the substances were supported the figure’s Raras heart conflicts happened in tabularasa novel by Ratih Kumala. The sources of data is taken from tabularasa novl by Ratih Kumala. The research was done by (1) reading and understanding the novel tabularasa by Ratih Kumala, (2) identifying and classifying the data of heart conflict of the figure’s Raras in the novel, (3) determining the heart conflict of the figure’s Raras looking at the view aspect’s id, ego and superego. (4) interpretation of the data, (5) proving and formulating the conclusion the result of the research show the figure Raras had been a heart conflict because of her love broke the social norm. Her relationship with Violet didn’t convey, because Raras have never told her feeling to Violet.
