Abstract

Pemilihan supplier merupakan salah satu keputusan strategis dalam manajemen rantai pasok yang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan keunggulan kompetitif suatu perusahaan. Setiap pabrikan perlu memiliki kriteria standar dalam pemilihan supplier sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kriteria-kriteria yang paling berpengaruh dan urutan alternatif supplier Rail Pad 158-7 terbaik yang bisa digunakan untuk menjadi bahan pertimbangan oleh PT. Pindad (Persero) dalam memilih supplier di masa yang akan datang. Bobot dan prioritas kriteria yang diuji dengan Metode Analytical Network Process (ANP) juga dimaksudkan untuk memunculkan hubungan timbal balik yang saling berpengaruh antar kriteria. ANP dapat digunakan untuk membantu membuat keputusan untuk memilih supplier dan untuk mengelola kinerja rantai pasokan. Makalah ini menunjukkan kriteria yang mempengaruhi keputusan pemilihan suatu supplier yaitu faktor biaya, delivery, kualitas, dan service sebagai prioritas utama produksi perusahaan. Adapun jika terdapat perbedaan maka perbedaan perspektif dipengaruhi oleh tingkat minat dan tanggung jawab yang berbeda. Perbedaan penilaian ini membentuk dasar pengambilan keputusan dan kebijakan strategis rantai pasokan sesuai dengan kondisi perusahaan. Abstract [Analysis of Supplier Selection Using Analytical Network Process (ANP) Method in Procurement of Rail Pad 158-7 Components (Case Study: PT. Pindad (Persero))] Supplier selection is one of the strategic decisions in supply chain management that affects the improvement of a company's competitive advantage. Each manufacturer needs to have standard criteria in the selection of suppliers according to company needs. The purpose of this paper is to find out the most influential criteria and the best alternative order of Rail Pad 158-7 suppliers that can be used as a material for consideration by PT PINDAD (Persero) in selecting future suppliers. The weight and priority of the criteria tested by the Analytical Network Process (ANP) Method are also intended to bring up mutually influential relationships between criteria. ANP can be used to help make decisions to choose suppliers and to manage supply chain performance. This paper shows the criteria that influence a supplier selection decision, which are cost, delivery, quality, and service as the main priority of the company's production. As for if there are differences, differences in perspective are influenced by different levels of interest and responsibility. This difference in valuation forms the basis of supply chain strategic decision-making and policy according to company conditions.Key words: ANP; Criteria; MCDM; Supplier

Abstract

PT. Triangle Motorindo is the sole agent holder of the VIAR Brand as one of the largest manufacturers of three-wheeled motorcycles in Indonesia. This company was founded in 2000 and has grown as one of the largest manufacturers of three-wheeled motorcycles in Indonesia. As one of the largest producers of three-wheeled motorbikes in Indonesia, PT Triangle Motorindo must be able to maintain and continue to improve the quality of their products in order to remain strong in the competition. In the production process, this company needs to reduce the number of defects that often occur in the production process, so that it decides to use the Six Sigma method to overcome these problems. Six Sigma is a statistical concept that measures a process related to defects or damage. Reaching six sigma means that a process generates only 3.4 defects per million chance, in other words, that it is running almost perfectly. The company is in a position where the defect type reaches 3.55 sigma. Therefore, the DMAIC method is used to increase it to 4 sigma. After the improvement stage is carried out, the company is expected to be able to reach the 4 sigma stage

Abstract

Increased retail economic has had an impact on the Indonesian economy. Carrefour as an international company has a local company's competitor, Hypermart. In order for both companies to know the position of competing, then benchmarking done between them using CZIPA (Competitive Zone of Tolerance based Importance-Performance Analysis) method. The use of CZIPA methods is done to determine the priority of each self-service in making improvements. The dimension used is the retail dimension called RSQS (Retail Service Quality Scale). The goal to be achieved is to know the superior service quality indicators owned by Carrefour and Hypermart and to make priority services to be improved on both self-service using RSQS dimensions. Data collected through questionnaire with purposive sampling method to 133 people. Research finds the main problem facing Carrefour is self-service layout that does not facilitate consumers to find the desired product. At Hypermart, the main problem is that the products in the catalog are not always available.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the location of the disaster emergencywarehouse as a place for storing food and beverages as well as medicines for firstaid during a flood. Objects selected for this study is Jakarta. Flooding is aproblem that often occurs in Jakarta as a result of heavy rainfall and thegeographical conditions of Jakarta. Forty percent of the area of Jakarta is belowsea level and there are 13 rivers flowing through Jakarta and has estuary inJakarta Bay. This study uses three approaches, namely analytic hierarchy process(AHP), cluster analysis and technique for an order of preference by similarity toideal solution (TOPSIS). The results of data processing by using AHP showedthat criteria and sub-criteria with the highest weighting for selecting the locationof disaster emergency warehouse were owned by delivery time. Furthermore,the results of data processing using cluster analysis and TOPSIS indicated thatthere were five potential sites for disaster emergency warehouse in order ofpriority: Sub-district Makasar followed by Kebon Jeruk, Tanjung Priok, Senen,and Cilandak.

Abstract

Pengukuran kinerja bukanlah tujuan akhir melainkan merupakan alat agar dihasilkan manajemen yang lebih efisien dan terjadi peningkatan kinerja. Hasil dari pengukuran kinerja akan menunjukan apa yang telah terjadi bukan mengapa hal itu terjadi atau apa yang harus dilakukan. Suatu organisasi harus menggunakan pengukuran kinerja secara efektif agar dapat mengidentifikasi strategi dan perubahan yang operasional apa yang dibutuhkan serta proses yang diperlukan dalam perusahaan tersebut. 4DX merupakan metodologi praktis yang dapat digunakan pada permasalahan utama pada setiap pemimpin, yaitu eksekusi. Dalam kasus ini, penerapan metode 4DX ini dilakukan setelah dilakukannya penilaian kinerja menggunakan Balanced Scorecard. Hasil menunjukan bahwa PT. Patria Maritime Lines belum sepenuhnya berhasil dalam mencapai tujuan maupun target yang telah ditentukan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk membantu PT. Patria Maritime Lines dalam menyusun dan mengeksekusi strategi pada tahun 2016 agar dapat mencapai target.  Abstract Performance measurement is not an end but a means in order to produce more efficient management and increased performance. Results of performance measurement will show what has happened,  not why it happened or what to do. An organization should use effective performance measurement in order to identify strategies and operational changes what is required as well as the necessary processes in the company. 4DX is a practical methodology that can be used on the main issues on any leader, namely the execution. In this case, application of 4DX method is done after an assessment of performance using the Balanced Scorecard. Results showed that PT. Patria Maritime Lines has not been entirely successful in achieving the goals and targets that have been determined. Therefore, the research was conducted to help PT. Patria Maritime Lines in formulating and executing strategy in 2016 in order to achieve the target.

Abstract

PT. Ebako Nusantara merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi mebel atau furniture . Dimana dalam membuat produksi tidak luput dari terjadinya cacat produk. Cacat yang banyak terjadi pada proses produksi komponen Dining Chair. Dari data historis yang ada cacat banyak terjadi disebabkan karena kegagalanpada proses produksi seperti curvingan tidak sama, kurang radius, banyak gelombang, dan banyak arm yang cuil. Dari permasalahan tersebut, maka PT. Ebako Nusantara harus melakukan analisa penyebab dan perbaikan dari kualitas produk yang dihasilkan.Untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa moda, efek, dan penyebab kegagalan ini membutuhkan sebuah metoda khusus. Metoda yang di pakai untuk penelitian ini menggunakan,FMECA (Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis) merupakan alat rekayasa yang direkomendasikan untuk menganalisa moda dan efek kegagalan produk yang dihasilkan.. Pemrioritasan resiko yang harus ditangani didasarkan pada RPN (Risk Priority Number). RPN merupakan hasil kali antara keparahan, kejadian, dan deteksi. Keparahan. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini  menggunakan metode FMECA (Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis). Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada tiap elemen-elemennya, didapat bahwa produk Dining Chair adalah produk yang memiliki tingkat kecacatanpaling tinggi. Tingkat Kecacatan meliputi curvingan tidak sama, kurang radius, banyak gelombang, dan banyak arm yang cuil.  Besarnya nilai RPN yang di hasilkan sama .Hasil dari pengolahan data dengan matriks kritikalitas didapatkan 8 mode kegagalan yang perlu tindakan korektif. Sebagai upaya untuk meminimasi terjadinya cacat yang disebabkan kegagalan proses produksi. ABSTRACTPT. Ebako Nusantara is a company that produce furniture. Where in its production it can not be separated from the defective product.Defect often occured in the Dining Chair production process. From the historical data, plenty of defect caused by the failure in the production process such as not similar carving, lack of radius, plenty of waves, and plenty of chunk arms. From that probelms, PT. Ebako Nusantara should analyze the cause and doing some repairment of the product quality that is produce.To identify and analyze the moda, effect, and the cause of these failuresit need special method. This study use FMECA (Failure Mode and Effect Criticality Analysis), it is an engineering tools that is recommend to analyze the moda and the effect of failure of product that is produce.Prioritizing the risk that need to be handles according to the RPN (Risk Priority Number). RPN is a result of multiplication between the severity, event, and severity detection. The hypothesis test that is used in this research is FMECA FMECA(Failure Mode andEffect Criticality Analysis). From the research results that are done in each element, it is obtain that the Dining Chairproduct have the highest level of defect. The level of defect covers not similar carving, lack of radius, plenty of waves, and plenty of chunk arms. The amount of RPN that is produce is the same. The result of data processing using criticality matrix obtain 8 mode of defectthat need a corrective action. As an effort to eliminate the defect that is cause by the production process failure.

Abstract

Kondisi lingkungan fisik kerja yang masih belum memenuhi tentu akan mempengaruhi seseorang karyawan yang bekerja pada suatu lini produksi. Seseorang karyawan yang bekerja tentu tidak memiliki waktu yang singkat pada lokasi tersebut, bahkan harus setiap hari bekerja pada tempat yang sama dan kurun waktunya lama (8 jam kerja). PT. South Pasific Viscose sudah memperhatikan kesehatan dan keselamatan dalam bekerja dan mengupayakan terjadinya zero accident atau nol kecelakaan kerja, akan tetapi dalam kenyataannya setiap tahun masih tetap terjadi kecelakaan akibat kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja. Upaya yang telah dilakukan PT South Pasific Viscose adalah mewajibkan setiap orang (karyawan, kontraktor, vistior, dll) untuk memakai alat pelindung diri (safety shoes, safety helmet, safety glass), mewajibkan memakai gas masker di area plan. Dari hasil pengukuran kondisi lingkungan fisik kerja pada area line 3 didapatkan hasil yaitu untuk pencahayaan, temperatur dan getaran di beberapa area masih belum memenuhi standar yang telah ditentukan.  Abstract  Physical environmental conditions are still not fulfilled the work would affect an employee who works on a production line. An employee who works certainly do not have a short time at that location, even had every day to work at the same place and time period of time (8 hours). PT. South Pacific Viscose already pay attention to health and safety at work and pursue the zero zero accident or work accident, but in reality still occur every year due to workplace accidents and occupational diseases. Efforts have been made PT South Pacific Viscose is obliging everyone (employees, contractors, vistior, etc.) to wear personal protective equipment (safety shoes, safety helmet, safety glass), obliging wear gas masks in the area plan. From the measurement results of the physical environmental conditions of work in the area of line 3 showed that for lighting, temperature and vibration in some areas are still not meet the standards that have been determined

Abstract

PT Ebako Nusantara merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang furniture. PT Ebako Nusantara telah berdiri sejak tahun 1996 dan berlokasi di Semarang. PT Ebako Nusantara melakukan kegiatan ekspor dalam proses bisnisnya karena 85% pelanggan nya berasal dari Amerika dan Eropa. Untuk itu, PT Ebako harus mempertahankan kualitas produknya agar dapat memberikan kepuasan kepada pelanggan. Namun selama proses produksi dilakukan, ada kemungkinan menghasilkan produk yang tidak sesuai spesifikasi dan menimbulkan cacat pada produk. Salah satu departemen yang memiliki angka cacat tertinggi adalah departemen finishing. PT Ebako Nusantara perlu melakukan upaya pengendalian kualitas secara kontinu agar kualitas produk yang dihasilkan tetap memenuhi spesifikasi dari pelanggan. Metode yang digunakan untuk upaya pengendalian kualitas pada penelitian ini adalah Six Sigma. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, nilai sigma proses yang diperoleh departemen finishing adalah 2,388 sigma. Abstract [Analysis of Rework Cause using Six Sigma Method in Finishing Departement (Study Case: PT Ebako Nusantara, Semarang] PT Ebako Nusantara is a furniture company since 1996 and located in Semarang. PT Ebako Nusantara did an export activity in their business process because 85% of their customers are from America and Europe. PT Ebako Nusantara must maintained the product quality to get a customer satisfaction. But, there are possibilities to produce a products that do not meet the specification and cause defects. One of the departement that have a highest defect numbers is finishing departement. PT Ebako Nusantara need a continous quality control to make sure the product’s quality meet the customer specification. This study used a Six Sigma method as a quality control tool. The result showed the sigma process value in finishing departement is 2,388 sigma.

Abstract

Batik merupakan salah satu warisan budaya Indonesia dari nenek moyang bangsa Indonesia yang telah diakui oleh UNESCO. Sekarang ini banyak pengrajin cenderung menggunakan bahan kimia daripada bahan pewarna alam untuk pembuatan batik, karena waktu pewarnaan yang singkat dan mudah diperoleh. Hal tersebut juga ditemui pada UKM Batik Semarang. Untuk itu peneliti melakukan penelitian guna mengetahui alternatif bahan pewarna alam yang dapat digunakan pada UKM Batik di Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitycal hierarchy process (AHP) dengan menggunakan 4 variabel (ekonomi, teknis, lingkungan, dan kualitas) 6 kriteria (komersial, proses produksi, bahan baku, dampak lingkungan, hasil warna dan tingkat kelunturan) dan 14 sub kriteria. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai bobot tertinggi pada variabel ekonomi sebesar 0.394, bobot tertinggi pada kriteria komersial sebesar 0.252 dan nilai tertinggi pada sub kriteria harga bahan baku sebesar 0.126. hasil dari pembobotan didapatkan alternatif bahan untuk warna hijau adalah jelawe dengan penambahan pasta indigo sesuai perbandingan 3:1sedangkan untuk warna kuning adalah tegeran.  Abstract Batik is one of the Indonesia’s cultural heritages from the ancestors of Indonesia that was recognized by UNESCO. Recently, many producers tend to use a synthetic dye rather than the natural ones, because synthetic dye require shorter time in the process of making batik and can be found easily. That similar case was also found in UKM Batik in Semarang City, so that this research will try to find out the alternatives of natural dyeing agents which can be used by the people on the UKM Batik Semarang. The application of analytical hierarchy processes (AHP) method will use 4 variables (economics, technic, environment and quality) then 6 criteria (commercial, production processes, raw material, environmental impact, color results, and fading levels) and 14 sub criteria. As for the results show that the highest score is economic criteria with 0.394 points, then commercial has 0.252 points and raw material prices sub – criteria is 0.126 points. So the alternative material that could be use for the green dye is “Jelawe” by addition of “Indigo” with ratio 3:1 and “Tegeran” can be used for yellow dyeing.

Abstract

PT Dharma Bandar Mandala adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang kargo, aktivitas yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan shipping kargo yang akan dikirim melalui udara. Dalam melakukan aktivitasnya operator kargo PT DBM tidak jarang mendapat tekanan yang cukup tinggi sehingga beban kerja mental operator meningkat. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan analisis seberapa besar beban kerja mental yang dialami dan faktor apa yang mempengaruhinya. Sehingga PT DBM dapat menentukan langkah yang tepat untuk memperbaiki kondisi tersebut. Salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur beban kerja mental adalah NASA-TLX. Metode NASA-TLX merupakan metode pengukuran beban kerja mental yang membagi beban kerja ke dalam 6 dimensi aspek elemen kerja. NASA-TLX dibagi menjadi dua tahap, yaitu perbandingan tiap skala dan pemberian nilai terhadap pekerjaan. Dari hasil perhitungan NASA-TLX diperoleh nilai beban kerja mental untuk seluruh pekerja berada pada tingkat sedang dengan indikator beban kerja mental terbesar pada operator PT DBM adalah skala PD (Physical Demand) dan MD (Mental Demand).   Abstract The titled of this research is Mental Workload Analysis using NASA-TLX Method for Cargo Carrier in PT Dharma Bandar Mandala (PT. DBM). PT Dharma Bandar Mandala is a company that engaged in the field of freight, the activities that undertaken is cargo shipment by airfreight. In conducting its activities cargo operator of PT DBM are accustomed to work under high pressure so that the operator mental workload increase. So it is necessary to analyze mental workload and the factors that influence it. So that PT DBM can determine the appropriate steps to improve the condition. The method used to measure mental workload is NASA-TLX. NASA-TLX measure mental workload that divided into 6 dimensional aspects of the working elements. NASA-TLX is divided into two stages, first ratio of each scale and event scoring. From the calculation using NASA-TLX, values that obtained for all operators are at a moderate level with the greatest mental workload indicators scales are PD (Physical Demand) and MD (Mental Demand)
