Abstract

Nowadays, in the newest era of biology science,biology has progressed and developed. One of the developments marked by the need for Biological Sciences in the field of bioengineering.Thus, it is importance for under graduates have a competence in technical analysis of molecular biology. One course that teaches techniques related to Molecular Biologyis Technical Analysis of Molecular Biology.Based on the results of the needs analysis survey conducted teaching in Technical Analysis Course Molecular Biology course. there are nobooks, handouts, modules, and media interactive video that used in Technical Analysis Course Molecular Biology class. More students use journals and other supporting materials associated to the course. Based on these results, it is necessary to the development the interactive video, in which mainly discusses about the principles and basic techniques in molecular biology analysis, to facilitate students to understand and practice the basic principles of Technical Analysis in Molecular Biology.Interactivemedia has developed based on the research results of analysis of genetic variation buffalo(Bubalusbubalis) at Bima. Abstract

Swamp buffalo is the most high-value animal in North Toraja Regency culture, in addition to being a work animal and transaction tools are also used as offerings in the ceremony signs solo' and signs tuka' North Toraja society. The purpose of this study was to describe the variation of the District Rantepao buffalo genotypes and North Toraja Regency Tikala using microsatellite developed as a multimedia course Analysis Techniques for Molecular Biology at the State University of Malang.Stages in this study include descriptive exploratory research phase and the development phase of multimedia for learning media. Observations of genetic variation patterns do start stage followed by DNA isolation using agarose gel electrophoresis was performed after PCR using HEL 09 and INRA 032 was followed by gel electrophoresis polyacrilamid. Electrophoresis obtained from the gel bands were then analyzed using the results of research genepop.Analysis of interactive multimedia development using media expert validation of a questionnaire shows the effectiveness of 91.67%, 87.50% the attractiveness, interactivity efficiency 100% and 91.67% with qualifying very well. For validation of learning materials experts show presentation purposes 95%, 89.29% material, the effectiveness of 83.33 and 93.75% interactivity with excellent qualifications. Analysis of a small group test with a sample of 12 people was 80.60% with good qualifications. Interactive media that had been developed can be used by lecturers and students biology education courses to better understand the basic principles and appropriate procedures in the course of TABM. Keywords: buffalo, interactive multimedia, genetic variation

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce inquiry-oriented life skills modules on environmental pollution materials for high school students of class X and test their effectiveness in teaching Biology. This research is the development that follows the Borg and Gall development procedure includes several steps: (1) research and information gathering; (2) planning; (3) the initial product development; (4) limited trial; (5) revision of the product; (6) The main trial; and (7) the major product revision. The results of the validation and assessment by experts material, teaching material development experts, and practitioners implementing learning indicates that the module in the excellent category with an average percentage of achievement (p) more than 85%. This indicates that the module has been implemented in the learning feasible. Readability test showed performance of 84.90 ataubaik. In the main test phase gain values obtained scores of 0.64 (medium), which means the module has been quite effectively applied in learning. Keywords : inquiry, life skills, learning
