Abstract

Buku pelajaran merupakan komponen penting dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Pembelajaran memiliki dampak baik pada perubahan pribadi maupun profesional. Salah satu cara untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang diinginkan adalah dengan mengadopsi pendekatan kontekstual, yang mengintegrasikan kondisi lingkungan siswa ke dalam pembelajaran. Program pelayanan nirlaba ini bertujuan menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual melalui pembuatan buku teks yang mengandung nilai-nilai kearifan lokal, sehingga siswa dapat mengaplikasikan konsep yang dipelajari di sekolah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada di sekitarnya. Tujuan utama dari program nirlaba ini adalah membantu guru sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Indramayu dalam mengembangkan buku teks kontekstual. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari dua tahap utama, yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil pelayanan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dari para guru, karena mereka berada di daerah terpencil dan sebelumnya tidak pernah mendapatkan perhatian dari pihak lain. Melalui program ini, para guru yang terlibat dapat membuat buku teks kontekstual

Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in education has gained increasing attention; however, its adoption in elementary science teaching remains uneven. This study aims to evaluate the factors influencing Indonesian elementary school teachers’ adoption of AI in science teaching by extending the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). An exploratory quantitative research design was employed involving 322 elementary school science teachers in Indonesia. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire that measured six latent constructs: Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Use, Behavioral Intention, Self-Efficacy, and AI Anxiety. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The findings revealed that perceived usefulness was the strongest predictor of teachers’ behavioral intention to adopt AI in science teaching. In addition, self-efficacy and AI anxiety significantly influenced teachers’ perceptions and attitudes toward AI integration. These results indicate that AI adoption in elementary science education is shaped not only by technological perceptions but also by psychological and pedagogical factors, including teachers’ confidence and learning experiences. This study extends the TAM framework by integrating psychological antecedents in a developing country context and provides theoretical and practical insights for developing teacher-centered strategies to support effective AI integration in elementary science teaching.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemahaman materi terhadap kemampuan praktik matakuliah korosi dan teknik pelapisan mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mesin angkatan 2016. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angakatan 2016 PTM FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya dengan jumlah 44 mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes dan observasi lansung. Ho dalam penelitian ini berupa : tidak terdapat hubungan antara pemahaman materi terhadap kemampuan praktik matakuliah korosi dan teknik pelapisan mahasiswa pendidikan teknik mesin angkatan 2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,635. Dengan uji statitik pada taraf signifikasi 0,05, hasilnya Ho diterima, artinya tidak terdapat hubungan antara pemahaman materi terhadap kemampuan praktik matakuliah korosi dan teknik pelapisan mahasiswa pendidikan teknik mesin angkatan 2016.

Abstract

Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku ajar pada matakuliah Pengelasan 1 yang valid dan praktis. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Rowntree melalui 3 tahapan perencanaan, pengembangan dan Evaluasi. Kegiatan Evaluasi diantaranya uji validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, uji kelompok kecil dengan 10 mahasiswa, dan uji lapangan dengan 20 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil dari validasi ahli materi sebesar 86% dan validasi ahli media 85%, jadi buku pengelasan dikatakan valid oleh kedua ahli. Tahapan selanjutnya uji coba kepraktisan, hasilnya uji coba Small Group didapatkan hasil persentase sebesar 81% dan uji coba Field Test sebesar 80%. Dari hasil yang didapatkan kedua hasil ujicoba tersebut masuk kedalam katagori baik atau dapat dikatankan sudah praktis. Maka dapat di simpulkan buku ajar yang dikembangkan sudah valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Student motivation in learning IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) subjects remains relatively low. This issue can be attributed to various factors, such as the limited utilization of learning resources and the lack of comprehensive content coverage. The purpose of this study is to create an electronic instructional module with the assistance of Kvisoft Flipbook Maker. The study used research and development (R&D) methodology, explicitly incorporating the ADDIE model. The participants were subject content experts, media experts, language experts, and 96 fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection methods consist of observations and assessments. Expert evaluations were conducted utilizing questionnaires, whereas students were administered with Pre-test and Post-test assessments. Data analysis was performed using quantitative descriptive techniques. The evaluation results from media experts indicated a 77% feasibility score, while material experts scored 93% and language experts scored 100%, signifying high feasibility. The findings suggest that implementing E-Modules positively impacts student performance, as evidenced by improved evaluation outcomes following integrating of the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker-assisted electronic module. This research underscores the significant role of technology in boosting elementary school students' motivation.

Abstract

In grade IV, students continue to show low learning in learning materials at school, especially in IPAS material. many things that cause one of them is learning media that is still conventional. This study aims to develop a FlipHTML5-assisted electronic module with the aim of improving learning outcomes and motivation. By combining R&D methodology with the ADDIE development concept. With an average result from material validators of 70% which included the “Feasible” category, an average result from media validators of 96%, which included the “Very Feasible” category, and an average result from language validators of 85%, which included the “Very Feasible” category, the findings showed that implementing electronic learning modules with the support of FlipHTML5 was very feasible. By evaluating the effectiveness of FlipHTML5-assisted E-Modules in IPAS subjects and calculating N-Gain and t-test values to determine differences from experimental and control groups, this research has helped in the development of teaching materials and is effectively used in the learning process. The results of the analysis show that the development of electronic modules is feasible, which aims to motivate students to learn.

Abstract

Fun learning in the classroom is the use of interactive and innovative media because the use of media can make student active. But in reality, there are many factors that cause students to be inactive in the classroom, one of which is the use of media that in still not interesting. This creation of thi flipsnack-assisted E-module development aims to increase student activeness.  The method used is Research and Development (R&D) the model used is the ADDIE model. This research was conducted in two schools, namely SDN Kapuk 02 Pagi & SDN Cijantung 03 Pagi. With research subjects of 120 grade IV students using control class and experimental class. Direct observation and testing were the methods used for data collection. In this study, researchers conducted validation, the validation carried out was validation of language, material, and media. Media expert validation results were 92% categorized as "very worthy", 94% material experts categorized as "very worthy", and 87% language experts categorized as "very worthy". Additionally, validation was done by students by filling out questionnaires with 93%  results categorized as "very worthy". And in the Score N-Gain test, the average N-Gain value of the experiment class was 62,50% categorized as "quite effective", and in the control class only 24%. Based on the outcomes, it shows that the use of E-modules can increase student activeness in IPAS lessons on the material of the form of substances and their changes.

Abstract

This systematic review examines recent empirical studies (2021–2026) on innovative teaching methods in primary earth and space science, focusing on student conceptual understanding and engagement. Using PRISMA 2020 guidelines, we searched major academic databases (Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, ScienceDirect, etc.) for peer-reviewed articles. Our thematic synthesis reveals that inquiry-based, project-based, STEM/STEAM, game-based, and digital learning approaches (including augmented/virtual reality) are frequently implemented. For example, STEAM-first instruction was shown to promote deeper conceptual change than STEM-only methods, and AR-based activities consistently enhanced understanding, motivation, and collaboration. Immersive technologies (AR/VR) improve visualization of abstract concepts and boost engagement, often achieving large effect sizes on learning and self-efficacy. Game-based learning also yields moderate-to-large benefits on cognitive and affective outcomes. Teachers’ perceptions and training emerged as crucial: professional development improved educators’ ability to design hands-on STEM tasks and increased student motivation. Reported challenges include teacher content knowledge gaps and resource constraints. Despite positive results, gaps remain in understanding long-term impacts, cross-context generalizability, and the combined effects of multiple innovations. We synthesize practical implications–urging curriculum developers and policymakers to support teacher training, integrate technology (e.g. AR simulations) thoughtfully, and foster environments for inquiry and collaboration. Future research should explore diverse contexts and emerging tools to further enhance earth and space science literacy in primary students.

Abstract

Background: The lack of motivation to learn of students can make the learning process in grade V of elementary school hampered. Low motivation to learn can be seen from the lack of enthusiasm from students and quickly feeling bored when learning in class and the learning media used by teachers are considered uninteresting or monotonous. Methodology: The method used in this study is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementational, Evaluation) model. This research was conducted at 3 elementary school such as SDN Balimester 01 AM, SDN Balimester 06 AM and SDN Rawa Bunga 11 AM. Results: The results of the assessment obtained from the Expert Lecturers include: 1) Media experts give a validation assessment of 72 % or "Feasible", 2) Subject matter experts give a validation assessment of 84 % or "Very Feasible", and 3) Linguists give a validation assessment of 70 % or "Feasible". The results of the use of media in increasing learning motivation were also seen in students in the small group test with data of 86.24 % (Sd Bm 01 am) and the large group test with data obtained of 89.30 % (Sd Bm 06 Morning) and 90.37 % (Sd Rb 11 Morning). Thus, it can be concluded that Interactive Media assisted by the Slidesgo Platform is very suitable for use as a learning medium that can also increase students' motivation to learn. Contribution: this study shwon that the Slidesgo platform has a significant impact on increasing the learning motivation of fifth-grade elementary school students

Abstract

In the material of thermodynamics, many physics equations make students abstract in understanding the material. It is necessary to have a learning media to be able to visualize the thermodynamics material. Matlab is usually used in numerical analysis. Currently, Matlab can be used as a medium for learning physics by students to understand the material well. This study aims to develop a physics calculator application on the subject of thermodynamics using Matlab software. The research method used in this research is the research development method with the development model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The instruments used in this study were a validation test questionnaire and a student response questionnaire. The analysis technique applied is the descriptive analysis and the average analysis techniques. The results developed in this study are in the form of a Physics calculator application that helps physics calculations on thermodynamic material. The average validation result by material experts and media experts is 83.1%, with the "Good" category. In other words, according to experts, this media is suitable for use in physics learning. This application also received a positive response from students, with an average student response score of 79.8%. This application is also equipped with materials, physics calculators, physics simulations and question exercises so that it is expected to help students understand physics learning in thermodynamics material.
