Abstract

Current excessive activities have endangered the nation, so it is necessary to raise public awareness about the importance of financial management. In order to prevent the character of consumerism in elementary school students, as well as in an effort to provide financial intelligence, economic education needs to be given from an early age. The process of character education itself needs to be carried out from an early age and must be maximized at elementary school age. Therefore it is appropriate to provide economic education for elementary school students. This community service activity aims to provide an understanding of basic economic education and its implementation in everyday life for early childhood, in this case elementary school students. This activity is carried out through the planning stage, namely the preparation of materials and learning methods. Furthermore, at the stage of providing material, it is carried out through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and quizzes, followed by FGD. Implementation of activities that were well followed by students of SD Negeri 12 Kesiman, as the target of the activity. Students receive material on the introduction of money, the “5 Don't” Movement, introduction and recording of savings, and basic entrepreneurship. The students have also done demonstrations related to recording and making simple piggy banks as tips. Furthermore, the results of the FGD with the teachers concluded that in the future economic education activities would be directed to the development of a circular economy in schools, such as through waste banks. Another effort is to provide training for students to recycle inorganic waste to be efficient and economically feasible. The students have been able to understand material about early childhood economic education, such as an introduction to money, savings, and basic entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) identify factors that can facilitate the occurrence of spatial synergism in tourism villages, and 2) find and determine the level of undesirable conditions and conditions expected from spatial synergism in tourism villages. Research data were collected using in-depth interviews and using nominal group technique (NGT. Key informants are 5 people and respondents are 15 people determined based on purposive sampling. All data were analyzed with a qualitative analysis approach. The results of the study found that the historical similarity factor, the proximity factor, the hereditary similarity factor, the solidarity factor, the potential similarity factor, and the problem similarity factor are factors that influence the occurrence of spatial synergism in tourism villages. In addition, it was also found that the level of conditions expected from the spatial synergy of tourism villages is to have one plan, one region, one organization, one regulation, and one management. While the level of conditions that are not desirable from the spatial synergism of the tourism village is that it does not have planning (spatial and non-spatial) and professional managers or institutions, sectoral egos appear and discriminatory treatment, disrupts or limit local community activities and culture, does not involve the role of Penta helix tourism actors, carrying out unfair competition in tourism promotion and not using digital technology. This study suggests that a more in-depth study is carried out regarding spatial synergism, especially the process of spatial synergism.

Abstract

A lot of the views of practitioners outside of Bali looked at the ceremony as one of the causes of poverty. It is seen from the portion of income that must be spent for various ceremonies to be performed by the Balinese Hindu community. This study aimed to answer the fundamental question, whether it is the customs and cultures led to affect Hindu community income in Bali? The data used is primary data from 350 Hindu households listed as poor households in Bali using depth interview survey method. Religion can play a role in overcoming poverty. Religion is not only a moral conscience that reminds the community will give generously to the poor but also to see the poor as human beings. The opinion says that the religious activities and custom made by Balinese Hindu communities causes increased poverty seems supported by the magnitude of the data portion of the expenditures for this activity. In Balinese Hindu communities, family income will be issued again and consumption expenditure shaped yajna. The analysis shows if traditional rituals and Balinese Hindu religious tend to have positive influence, good for people's income and the level of happiness. Therefore, it is not appropriate if the customs and religion are said to have made the Balinese Hindu community becomes poorer. This result also shows a shift in the understanding of religion in Balinese Hindu community. Religiosity someone then be interpreted by the implementation of the ritual in the form of upakara (yadnya) and the implementation of ethics in public life (susila).
