Abstract

The E-Tilang program is a form of the National Police's seriousness in carrying out instructions from President Jokowi. The Police Headquarters Traffic Police, Inspector General Pol Agung Budi Maryoto, said that this program also aims to make the police more professional and even cut the bureaucratic chain. The application of this online-based system can prevent and reduce the practice of extortion (extortion) and make it easier for people to make ticket payment transactions. The purpose of this research to find out how effective the use of the E-Tilang application is for the police in the ticketing process in Pekanbaru City.The research method used in this research is quantitative. The population in this study was the Traffic Unit (Satlantas) Pekanbaru Police, amounting to 121 people. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling, which means that the number of samples is the same as the population, in other words all the total population in this study are defined as samples. The research data were collected by means of a questionnaire and documentation. The data measurement technique in this study uses a Likert scale. While the data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis.The results showed that the E-Tilang program was very beneficial for the Police and the people of Pekanbaru City. The E-Tilang program is considered to have a significant contribution to the work program of the Police in Pekanbaru City. With the E-Tilang program, the Police find it easier to compile data and carry out their duties as a civilian general institution that maintains order, security and law enforcement in all areas in Pekanbaru City. Of the five indicators that the author uses in this study, the average value is 3.46. This value is in the effective category with a score range of 3.41 - 4.20.

Abstract

Da'wah to God is the most noble and principal position for a servant, then it will not happen except with science. Da'wah is built on three basic principles, namely, Akidah, Syariat and Akhlak. The mass media conveys its messages to a wide and unlimited audience. Basically mass communication reveals the reaction resulted from the stimulus which in this case is given by the mass media. There is a close connection between media messages with the reaction or response of the audience. The S-R theory suggests that media messages containing the stimulus produce different responses from the audience. The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence the message preaching program "study together ustadz" Radio Hidayah against knowledge of Islamic religion in the city of Pekanbaru.The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method, with research population is Pekanbaru city people who make calls and text messages with Radio Hidayah as respondents. Selection of respondents as the object of research related to how big the influence of Radio Hidayah as a message channel of da'wah by using Purposive Sampling technique from Unknown Population calculation formula hence this research get 96 respondent. Methods of data collection by field research (field research) by distributing questionnaires, questionnaires and data library research. Data processing technique used is data processing with the help of software SPSS 16 and using likert scale.The result of simple linear regression, obtained by regression coefficient value in this research is Y = 2,245 + 0,377 X. Constant value equal to 2,245 mean that if message of da'wah is zero value of religion knowledge equal to 2,245 unit. coefficient of religious knowledge variable of 0.377. Based on the calculation of statistics obtained, then the hypothesis for this research that is there Influence Program "Study together Ustadz" Radio Hidayah 103.4 FM to Knowledge of Islamic Science on the city of Pekanbaru then Ha accepted Ho is rejected. The influence of the message of dakwah program of "study with ustadz" radio hidayah 103,4 fm to the knowledge of Islamic religion in society Pekanbaru city equal to 80,4%. This means that the influence of the message of dakwah of "study with ustadz" program of 80.4% towards the knowledge of Islamic Science is categorized as having a very strong influence.Keywords: Radio, Program, Message Of Da’wah And Knowledge Of Islamic

Abstract

In order to assess the effective communication in a public relations program, its main principles are needed, among others; credibility, context, content, clarity, continuity and consistency, channel, and capabilities or capabilities of the audience. One of the agencies implementing the program with the function of public relations is called the community participation program, activities carried out with the community called "Friends of the Ombudsman". This program was initiated to provide education which contains messages regarding matters relating to maladministration to the community through ombudsman friends. The purpose of this study was to determine how much the effectiveness of the communication program of the Ombudsman RI community participation program in Riau Province in increasing the ombudsman's knowledge about maladministration.This study uses quantitative research methods with descriptive types, the data in this study were obtained by data collection techniques, namely through direct distribution of questionnaires to the people who participated in the Riau Province Ombudsman Community Participation program (ombudsman friends) with a total sample of 80 respondents. calculated using census sampling technique. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics.Based on the results of this study, obtained an average of 3.41 for the seven indicators of communication effectiveness used. This shows that communication in the Riau Province Ombudsman RI community participation program is very effective in increasing the ombudsman's knowledge about maladministration. The indicator with the highest average score is the credibility indicator, which shows that the ability of the presenters in the program is trusted and respected by the audience for their competence. The results which state that the program is very effective in increasing the knowledge of ombudsman friends who are reviewed through indicators measuring an effectiveness in the program is different from the data which states that the community's low knowledge of maladministration, therefore it is necessary to review the program being implemented in order to achieve the target. wider so as to increase public knowledge about maladministration in society in general.                                       Keywords: Effectiveness Communication, Knowledge, Maladministration

Abstract

In this modern era, Instagram is a social media that can make it easier for people to find culinary information quickly. The easy way to use the Instagram application makes users use Instagram as a medium of information to meet their needs. One of the accounts that utilizes Instagram social media as a medium for spreading information about the culinary city of Pekanbaru is @kulinerpku. This study aims to determine how much influence social media exposure has on fulfilling the culinary information needs of followers of the @kulinerpku Instagram account. This study uses the theory of SOR (Stimulus, Organism, Response) as a basis for research testing. This study used a quantitative explanatory research method with a sampling technique in this study using random sampling and using the slovin formula which obtained a total of 277 respondents from the 488 thousand population of followers @kulinerpku. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire which is then tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique in this study was a simple linear regression test and a determination test which was calculated using the SPSS for windows. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, the coefficient value in this study is Y = 5.173 + 0.830X. Meanwhile tcount (22.018) is greater than t table (4.448). Where Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted with a significance of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a large influence between exposure to social media on fulfilling culinary information needs on followers of the Instagram account @kulinerpku with an influence of 63.8% which is categorized as strong. Abstract

Pemaparan Peran Wanita dalam Iklan Majalah. Studi ini bertujuan untukmenganalisiskategoriproduk dan pemaparan tipe kecantikan dan peran pekerjaan wanita yang ditampilkan pada iklan di majalahFemina dan Kartini, serta perbedaan pemaparan tipe kecantikan dan peran pekerjaan wanitadengan targetproduk wanita dan iklan dengan target produk wanita dan pria. Metode yang digunakan pada peneltitian iniadalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode analisis isi dengan unit analisisnya mencakup iklan-iklan diyang model utamanya adalah wanita dewasa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada majalah wanitatersebut produk yang selalu diiklankan adalah kategori produk kosmetik, perawatan kulit dan perawatanperibadi, karena ini sesuai dengan target audiennya adalah wanita. Sementara itu peran perempuan yangterpapar pada iklannya berdasarkan jenis kecantikannya adalah sex kitten untuk majalah Kartini dan jeniskecantikan klasik/feminism pada majalah Femina. Peran pekerjaan yang terpapar adalah peran dekoratifpada kedua majalah tersebut. Hal ini bermakna wanita selalu digambarkan sebagai obyek hiasan dan kecantikanadalah yang terpenting bagi wanita.Kata Kunci: peran pekerjaan, iklan, majalah wanita

Abstract

Radio Hidayah 103.4 FM merupakan radio dakwah di kota Pekanbaru yang mempunyai divisi humas bertugas membuat strategi untuk mempertahankan loyalitas pendengarnya.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari lima orang yang berkaitan langsung dengan strategi humas. Studi ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Untuk mencapai keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, dari tujuh jenis strategi humas hanya empat jenis strategi yang diterapkan oleh humas Radio Hidayah 103.4 FM Pekanbaru dalam mempertahankan loyalitas pendengar yaitu: publikasi, event (acara), corporate identity (citra perusahaan), dan corporate social responsibility (CSR). Evaluasi dari strategi yang diterapkan oleh humas Radio Hidayah 103.4 FM dalam mempertahankan loyalitas pendengar dilakukan secara keseluruhan satu bulan sekali dengan berkumpul bersama kepala dan penyiar Radio Hidayah. Tujuannya untuk kekurangan atau kesalahan dari strategi yang sudah diterapkan sebelumnya, agar diperbaiki dan menjadi pertimbangan untuk kedepannya.

Abstract

Obstacles Communication Regional Leadership in Government. This study aims to findout and considers the communication barriers regional leadership (head area) is motivated by the conflict inKampar Regency Administration. Then also to find out how the implementation of organizationalcommunication could develop into a conflict within a formal structure to the local government level. Themethod used in this study is to gather descriptive qualitative data from informants. The data collected wasprocessed qualitatively, by stating in the narrative information from each informant about the issues understudy. The results showed that the implementation of organizational communication is not running smoothlybecause of communication barriers. Leadership style is authoritarian tendencies, communication styles, aswell as poor communication competency is most triggers of conflict.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze community movements and efforts made by the state to protect the living space (territory) of indigenous peoples on Bengkalis Island. For generations, indigenous people have used the mangrove forest area as a living space. On the way, the indigenous people found that their living space was damaged and narrowed, which they understood but were unable to control. This research is qualitative, obtaining data through observation, interviews, and aggregate data. The research data is then analyzed following a logical flow built and adjusted to the flow of field research data. The resource mobilization theory was used as a guide. This research found that facing the rate of mangrove destruction as a living space, indigenous tribes can only adapt slowly by utilizing the remaining open resources and opportunities. The community movement to protect mangrove forests as a living space for indigenous people on Bengkalis Island is still limited to being carried out by the indigenous people. The new movement is only in the form of building relationships with officials who have power in the region, hoping that indigenous people can carry out their traditional activities, namely utilizing mangrove forests as their living space. This movement is far from successful. In the form of the Regional Environmental Protection and Management Policy, local government policy keeps indigenous people away from mangrove forests as their living space.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the effect of transformational leadership style on employee performance, to know and analyze the effect of organizational communication on employee performance, to know and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational communication simultaneously on employee performance. This study used explanatory quantitative research methods with sampling techniques in this study using random sampling and using the slovin formula which obtained a total of 85 respondents from 550 population of Employees and Members of the Pekanbaru City Police. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire which is then tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique in this study is a simple linear regression test and a determination test that is calculated using the SPSS for windows application. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational communication on employee performance is 28.7% while the remaining 71.3% is influenced by other factors. These other factors, one of which is ability which can affect employee performance. Keywords: transformational leadership style, organizational communication, employee performance
