Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to test and analyze the effect of work engagement and emotional intelligence on personnel performance through job satisfaction directly or indirectly.Methodology – The approach used in this research is causal. The population in this study were all personnel of the Medan City Police Resort Detective section. This study used a saturated sample of 98 people, all personnel of the Medan City Police Resort Detective Section. Data collection techniques in this study using documentation, observation, and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses a quantitative approach using statistical analysis using SEM-PLS using the PLS (Partial Least Square) 4.0 software program.Findings – The results of this study indicate that directly, work engagement, emotional intelligence, and job satisfaction have a significant effect on personnel performance, work engagement, and emotional intelligence have a significant impact on personnel job satisfaction, and indirectly, work attention and emotional intelligence have a significant effect on personnel performance through job satisfaction.Originality/Novelty – Combining two main concepts, namely work engagement and emotional intelligence, in one research model can provide a deeper understanding of the complexity of the relationship between the variables of work engagement, emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and employee performance.Implications – Provides valuable insights for Human Resources Management (HRM) practitioners about the importance of work engagement and emotional intelligence in improving employee performance. HRM can use these findings to develop more effective recruitment, training, and development strategies.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to investigate and assess the effect of person-organization fit (POF) on employee performance (EP), with job satisfaction (JS) and organizational commitment (OC) acting as mediators. Methodology – Questionnaires were used in this quantitative study, to obtain information from 61 employees, with subsequent analysis implementing the Structural Equation Model SmartPLS 4.0. Results – The results showed that EP was significantly influenced by POF, JS, and OC. This indicated that POF relevantly influenced employee JS. POF and JS also significantly influenced OC. Moreover, the compatibility between employees and organization significantly influenced EP through JS and OC. POF also substantially influenced OC, mediated by JS. Based on the mediation by OC, JS then significantly influenced EP. Originality – This study investigated the employee issues that significantly and widely impacted organizational performance. It also provided a deeper comprehension of the personal relationships between organization fit, employee engagement, and JS.

Abstract

The purpose of this research conducted at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre I North Sumatra is to determine the effect of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance with employee engagement as an intervening variable. the effect of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance simultaneously and partially, as well as the effect of employee engagement on employee performance in part, and to find out how these factors affect employee engagement. The participants in this study were. By using the census method, which turns the entire population into a sample, this sample can be identified. Data collection used questionnaires, and multiple linear regression and path analysis were used to analyze the results. Talent management has an effect on employee engagement, knowledge management has an effect on employee engagement, talent management and knowledge management have an effect on employee engagement, and talent management and knowledge management have no effect on employee performance, according to the findings of this study. Through employee engagement, talent management has a greater direct impact on employee performance than it does indirectly through talent management. And ast is employee engagement has a smaller indirect impact on employee performance than knowledge management directly affects employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of individual characteristics on work performance, to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment on work performance, to determine and analyze the influence of competence on work performance and to determine and analyze the influence of individual characteristics, work environment and competence on performance works at the Labuhanbatu Regency Regional Revenue Agency. The approach used in this research is an associative approach. The population in this study was all employees of the Labuhanbatu Regency Regional Revenue Agency totaling 60 people and the sample used in this research was 60 people using a saturated sample. The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this research uses Multiple Linear Regression, Classical Assumption Test, t Test and F Test, and Coefficient of Determination. Data processing in this research used the SPSS software program (version 24.00). Partially, individual characteristics have a significant influence on work performance. Partially, the work environment has a significant influence on work performance. Partially, competency has a significant influence on work performance. Simultaneously, individual characteristics, work environment and competence have a significant influence on employee work performance for employees of the Labuhanbatu Regency Regional Revenue Agency.

Abstract

In connection with this study there are objectives, among others, to test the impact of ROA, EPS and DER effect on stock prices. This type of research is based on a quantitative approach. The population used in this study is the consumer goods sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the period 2018-2021 as many as 18 companies and a sample of 6 companies and then a total of 24 reports of observations. The results of the study, among others, ROA, DER partially does not affect the stock price, eps partially positive effect on stock prices and then simultaneously ROA, EPS and DER simultaneously positive effect on stock prices.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of product quality and promotion on luxury crime purchasing decisions with trust as a mediating variable. The population of this research is all residents of Sergai Regency who have purchased Luxcrime. The sample for this research was 180 respondents. Data analysis used in this research was carried out using the alternative Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The results of the research show: 1) product quality influences the decision to purchase luxcrime, 2) promotion influences the decision to purchase luxcrime, 3) trust influences the decision to purchase luxcrime, 4) product quality influences consumer confidence in luxcrime, 5) promotion influences consumer confidence in luxcrime , 6) trust mediates the influence of product quality on luxury crime purchasing decisions, 7) trust mediates the influence of promotions on luxury crime purchasing decisions in the Sergai district community
