Abstract

Upland rice tolerance test trials based on pithy seeds on ultisols used for tuber cultivation and new openings were carried out from November 2019 – February 2021 in Nagari Kampung Pinang, Lubuk Basung sub-district with the aim of knowing the interaction of upland rice varieties on ultisols of former tubers and new openings of ultisols. This experiment was conducted in a factorial Randomized Block Design with two factors. The first factor was the upland rice varieties Rindang I, Luhur I and Barabah, and the second factor was the ultisol treated layer, namely cassava ultisol, onion ultisol treatment layer and new layer processing. Based on the experiment, it was concluded that the three upland rice varieties tested, namely Rindang I, Luhur I and Barabah were classified as tolerant varieties with the order of tolerance being the Rindang I variety, followed by the Luhur I variety and the Barabah variety. Keywords: rice, ultisol, cassava, shallot

Abstract

Experiments on the influence of NPK fertilizers and citronella pesticides nano on the growth and yield of red chili (Capsimum annuum L.) were carried out on dry land in Korong Pasar Baru village, Nansabaris District, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra from February - June 2020. The research objective was to determine the interaction of NPK fertilizer and citronella pesticide on growth, yield and disease attack rates in red chilies. The experiment used a randomized block design (RBD) with two factors. The first factor was the dosage of NPK fertilizer consisting of 3 levels, namely: 0 kg/ha, 100 kg/ha, and 150 kg/ha. The second  factor is the concentration of citronella pesticide nano, namely: 0 ml/L, 3 ml/L, 6 ml/L and 9 ml/L. Based on the results of the experiment, it can be concluded that NPK fertilizers and citronella pesticides can increase the growth and yield of chili plants and suppress curly disease 83.4%.

Abstract

Experiment have been done in village Aro Kandikia Nagari Gaduik Kecamatan Tilatang Kamang Kabupaten Agam of februari- april 2013, the purpose of this research to get measure organic matter enriched microbes bamboo proper to growth and the production of convolvulus land. Complete random design , in the provision of organic matter bamboo microbes that is repeated three times .The given consisting of 0 ( mo ) , volume of ) 0.25 ( , 0.5 meters , 1 ( m3 ) , 1.25 ( m4 ) , 1.5 ( (m5 ) . The outcome of the experiment shows that growth and the production of plants convolvulus land the highest is in the provision of 1 kg per a plot to the production of 78 g per a clump or equivalent to 15,4 ton / ha , while production the lowest in the provision of 0 kg namely 66 g per a clump or equivalent to 13.2 ton / ha .

Abstract

Percobaan Respon Jagung ManisTerhadap Abu Sekam dan NPK telah dilakukan di Kelurahan Kalumbuk Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang dengan ketinggian tempat 10 m dpl, Sumatera Barat mulai Maret – Juli 2021. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui respon jagung manis terhadap Abu Sekam dan NPK. Percobaan ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) Faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah Abu Sekam terdiri 4 taraf yaitu 0 g, 50 g, 100 g, 150 g. Faktor kedua adalah Pupuk NPK terdiri 3 taraf yaitu: 0 g, 100 g, 200 g. Parameter yang diamati adalah, Indeks Luas Daun (ILD), Diameter Batang, Bobot tongkol per tanaman, bobot 1000 biji, Produksi per plot, produksi/ha dan kadar gula. Berdasarkan hasil penelitia disimpulkan bahwa interaksi pemberian abu sekam dengan pupuk NPK tidak meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis. Pengaruh pemberian abu sekam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis dengan dosis terbaik yaitu 100 g. Pengaruh pemberian pupuk NPK dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis dengan dosis terbaik yaitu 200 g. Disarankan menggunakan abu sekam dengan dosis yaitu 100 g dan pupuk NPK dengan dosis yaitu 200 g.

Abstract

The experiments have been carried out in the field of peat in Anai Valley sub district, Padang Pariaman district from July to November 2010. The Experiments used factorial design in complete randomized block design. The first factor is 3 tolerant varieties and the second factor is the dose amelioran ie 0, 300, 600 and 900 kg ha-1 with four replications. The results showed that 1) empty fruit bunches of oil palm ash increases growth, 2) increase the yield components, and 3) the highest yield obtained from the three varieties tolerant to the provision of empty fruit bunches of oil palm ash dose of 600 ha-1.

Abstract

Percobaan Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui interaksi Kompos Jerami Padi dengan NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi jagung manis. telah dilakukan di Kelurahan Ampang, Kecamatan Kuranji, Kota Padang dari November 2020 - Maret 2021. Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah kompos jerami padi yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 0 t ha-1, 5 t ha-1, 10 t ha-1. Faktor kedua terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 0 kg ha-1, 100 kg ha-1, 200 kg ha-1. Hasil percobaan disimpulkan bahwa interaksi kompos jerami padi dan NPK meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, umur muncul bunga jantan, umur muncul bunga betina, bobot tongkol tanpa kelobot. Kesimpulan bahwa pemberian kompos jerami padi dengan berat 5 t ha-1 dan NPK dengan dosis 200 kg ha-1 dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi jagung manis.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon varietas kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L) terhadap pupuk cair limbah industri tahu. Percobaan ini telah dilakukan di Kelurahan Kalumbuk, Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang, Sumatra Barat dari Maret sampai Juni 2022. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama terdiri dari 4 varietas kacang tanah yakni garuda, takar 2, tigo ampek, dan duo. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi pupuk cair limbah industri tahu terdiri dari 3 taraf yakni 0, 400 dan 800 ml L-1. Data hasil pengamatan disidik ragam dan diuji F taraf 0,05. Apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji DNMRT. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi respon varietas kacang tanah yakni (1) interaksi varietas kacang tanah dan konsentrasi POC limbah tahu berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot polong kering per plot yaitu 505,33 g dan bobot polong kering per hektar yaitu 3,37 ton, (2) varietas kacang tanah dengan produksi tertinggi didapat pada varietas Takar 2, (3) POC limbah tahu dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah dengan dosis terbaik 400 ml/L.

Abstract

The objective of the experiment was to determine the response of sweet corn varieties to Thitonia compost in ultisol rice fields. The experiment was conducted in Kalumbuk Village, Kuranji District, Padang City from September – November 2021. The experiment was carried out using a completely randomized factorial design with the first factor being sweet corn varieties namely Bonanza, Asia 86, and Paragon, while the second factor was the dosage of Thitonia compost consisting of 4 levels namely 0 , 4, 8, and 12 tonnes ha-1. The combination of the two factors is repeated 3 times. Based on the experimental results, it was concluded that the response of the sweet corn varieties Bonanza, Asia 86 and Paragon showed a variety of growth, showed a variety of yield components and a variety of production in ultisols. Sequentially the highest production was obtained by the Asian variety 86 namely 18.00 t ha-1, followed by the Bonanza variety, namely 17.43 t ha-1 and Paragon variety, namely 16.44 t ha-1 with dosage Thitonia compost namely 8 t ha-1.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the combined impact of Chitosan and Tithonia (Tithonia diversifolia) Compost on the Growth and Yield of Peanut Plants (Arachis hypogaea L.). A factorial randomized block design (RBD) was utilized for the experiment. The first factor was Tithonia compost in quantities of 0 tons/ha-1, 5 tons/ha-1, and 10 tons/ha-1. The second factor was Chitosan, applied at three dosage levels: 0 ml/l water, 3 ml/l water, and 6 ml/l water. The results suggest that the use of Tithonia compost effectively enhances plant height, flowering age, harvest age, 100-seed weight, and dry pod weight per hill when applied at a dose of 10 tons/ha. Furthermore, Chitosan administration was found to increase the number of effective root nodules when used at a concentration of 6 ml/l water. The interaction between Tithonia compost and Chitosan also resulted in an extended flowering life and an increase in dry pod weight per hill of peanut plant. Based on these findings, we recommend using 10 tons/ha of Tithonia compost and 3 ml/l water of Chitosan in peanut cultivation for optimal results.
