Abstract

Pengoperasian alat tangkap trammel net dilakukan pada pagi dan malam hari hasil tangkapannya adalah udang dan ikan yang memiliki tingkah laku yang berbeda dan keberadaan di perairan juga berbeda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil tangkapan trammel net pada pagi dan malam hari dan perbandingan hasil tangkapan dalam jumlah berat (kg), individu (ekor), jenis (spesies). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Hasil tangkapan pada malam hari dalam jumlah jenis lebih banyak dari pada pagi hari, nilai uji t adalah Thit = 8,230 > Ttab = 2,048, artinya ada perbedaan jumlah jenis hasil tangkapan pagi dan malam hari. Hasil tangkapan malam hari dalam jumlah berat (kg) lebih banyak dari pagi hari, nilai uji t adalah Thit = 6,866 > Ttab = 2,048, artinya ada perbedaan jumlah berat (kg) hasil tangkapan pagi dan malam hari. Hasil tangkapan pada malam hari lebih banyak dalam jumlah individu dari pagi hari, nilai uji t adalah Thit = 48,611 > Ttab = 2,048, artinya ada perbedaan jumlah individu (ekor) hasil tangkapan pagi dan malam hari. Hasil regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan arus, suhu, salinitas tidak berpengaruh karena p value ≥ dari 0,05

Abstract

Status keberlanjutan perikanan tangkap adalah konsep yang menekankan pada pelestarian sumber daya perikanan selama proses penangkapan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai status keberlanjutan metode penangkapan ikan menggunakan bubu tetap berdasarkan aspek ekologi, ekonomi, teknologi, kelembagaan, dan sosial di Desa Raja Bejamu, Kecamatan Sinaboi, Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2024 di Desa Raja Bejamu, Kecamatan Sinaboi, Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Metode survei digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data terkait aspek keberlanjutan perikanan bubu tetap, dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis keberlanjutan dilakukan menggunakan metode Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries (RAPFISH). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indeks keberlanjutan multidimensional penangkapan ikan bubu tetap adalah 63,85 (cukup berkelanjutan). Indeks ini diperoleh dari 38 atribut pada lima aspek: aspek ekologi dengan indeks 46,26 (tidak berkelanjutan), aspek ekonomi dengan indeks 52,00 (cukup berkelanjutan), aspek teknologi dengan indeks 81,29 (berkelanjutan), aspek kelembagaan dengan indeks 54,11 (cukup berkelanjutan), dan aspek sosial dengan indeks 81,73 (berkelanjutan)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan jumlah dan komposisi hasil tangkapan alat tangkap bubu naga yang dioperasikan pada pagi dan siang hari di Perairan Desa Permai. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pengambilan data melalui observasi langsung terhadap operasi dua unit bubu naga selama sepuluh hari. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji-t, dan chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tangkapan pada pagi hari lebih tinggi dibandingkan siang hari, baik dari segi berat (11,64 kg pada pagi hari dan 7,675 kg pada siang hari) maupun jumlah individu (1.282 ekor pada pagi hari dan 1.024 ekor pada siang hari). Hasil tangkapan terdiri dari empat spesies: udang putih (Litopenaeus sp), udang merah (Penaeus monodon), ikan duri (Hexanematichthys sagor), dan ikan gulamah (Johnius trachycephalus). Spesies dominan adalah udang putih, terutama pada pagi hari. Kesimpulannya, alat tangkap bubu naga lebih efektif digunakan pada waktu pagi hari di perairan Desa Permai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai status keberlanjutan perikanan tangkap bubu lipat di Kelurahan Patam Lestari, Kecamatan Sekupang, Kota Batam berdasarkan lima aspek: ekologi, ekonomi, teknologi, sosial, dan kelembagaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan wawancara, dengan analisis data melalui metode RAPFISH (Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries) yang mencakup analisis Multidimensional Scaling, leverage, dan Monte Carlo. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aspek ekologi tergolong kurang berkelanjutan (26,86%), sementara aspek ekonomi (54,35%), teknologi (64,95%), sosial (69,57%), dan kelembagaan (53,22%) tergolong cukup berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, indeks keberlanjutan mencapai 56,25% (cukup berkelanjutan). Diperlukan pengelolaan yang lebih baik, khususnya pada aspek ekologi dan kelembagaan, untuk mendukung keberlanjutan perikanan dan kesejahteraan nelayan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the catch of Sondong as the main information in managing fishing, the availability of data and information about the productivity of Sondong fishing gear fisheries in Selat Akar Village and with the management in the utilization of fish resources, the sustainability of Sondong fishing business can be maintained. The research method used in this research is a survey method used to obtain the necessary data directly from the research site. The results showed that the production of Sondong ship fluctuated. The results showed that the production of Sondong ship fluctuated. So that the annual production value of Sondong ship for 5 years also fluctuates. The productivity value of Sondong ships varies where the highest values in 2017 and 2019 show that the period was a good year in producing fishing using these fishing gear. The low productivity in 2018 was due to temporary weather anomalies, where weather conditions worsened which affected the success of the capture process. and the lowest was in 2020. And the results of the Trend of Sondong fishing gear production show that there is a high correlation that indicates that produce results in the next 3 years will increase and show that the initial production value of sondong fishing gear is relatively high.

Abstract

Productivity and estimation of fishing season index in marine areas are very much needed to facilitate fishermen's fishing operations, so they are practical and efficient. This research was conducted from February 28, 2024, to March 9, 2024. This research was conducted at the UPTD Fishing Port Region I (PPW1), Carocok Tarusan, West Sumatra Province. This study aimed to calculate fishing productivity and the fishing season index of anchovies (Stolephorus sp) at the UPTD Fishing Port Region I (PPW1), Carocok Tarusan, West Sumatra Province. This research is based on a survey method involving observations and collecting primary and secondary data directly at the UPTD Fishing Port Region I (PPW1), Carocok Tarusan, West Sumatra Province. The highest CPUE value of anchovies occurred in 2021, 142.66 kg/ship. The lowest CPUE occurred in 2019, at 73.30 kg/boats. The peak season for anchovy landings at PPW1 Carocok was identified to occur from April to August, as indicated by an IMP value of more than 100%. The moderate season for anchovy landings was shown to occur from January to March and September to December, as indicated by an IMP value of more than 50%. No month was identified as a lean season where the IMP value was less than 50%.

Abstract

Rokan Hilir Regency, particularly Pasir Limau Kapas District, has significant potential for capture fisheries. However, ecosystem sustainability depends on high-value fish resources such as senangin and mackerel. Therefore, a sustainable study of fisheries management is needed based on ecological, socioeconomic, community, and institutional dimensions to ensure the sustainable use of fish resources. This research evaluates the sustainability status of gill net capture fisheries in Panipahan, Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir Regency, based on five dimensions: economic, ecological, technological, institutional, and social. The analysis method used is Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries (RAPFISH) with a Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) approach. The results show that the institutional dimension had the highest sustainability index at 92.08%, classified as "sustainable", while the technological dimension had the lowest index at 39.87%, indicating a "less sustainable" status. The economic and social dimensions scored 53.11% and 57.75% respectively, categorised as "moderately sustainable", whereas the ecological dimension scored 43.96%, also "less sustainable". These findings indicate that gill net capture fisheries in Panipahan are not yet fully sustainable, particularly regarding technology and ecology. Therefore, there is a need to enhance environmentally friendly fishing gear use, strengthen local institutional regulations, and increase public education and community involvement to support sustainable fisheries resource management

Abstract

Fish landing operations at Kambang Fishing Port are constrained by limited facilities, with only a single pier serving both docking and unloading activities. These constraints often result in prolonged landing times, especially during peak landing periods, when multiple vessels arrive in close succession. This study aims to analyze the relationship between fish landing time and mooring duration among trolling fishing vessels at PPI Kambang, West Sumatra, and to identify key factors influencing landing efficiency. A survey method was employed, involving the collection of primary data on mooring time, adequate unloading time, and idle time, supplemented by secondary data from port authorities. The results reveal that the efficiency of fish landing time ranges between 21.11% and 50.00%, with an average of 40.80%. The lowest efficiency was recorded on KM. Sepupu 02, while the highest was on KM. Melci 01 and KM. Wendri. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed strong correlations between landing efficiency and various factors, including vessel size, number of crew members, unloader age, total catch, and idle time. However, the regression model did not yield statistically significant results. These findings underscore the need for operational enhancements to minimize idle time and improve overall efficiency in fish landing processes.
