Abstract

Adaptation to technological developments is the key for humans to maintain life activities, including maintaining educational activities. This research attempts to analyze the digitization of education in the Indonesian context. Three things are the focus of discussion here, namely, what policies have been launched by the government towards tertiary institutions in Indonesia to support digitalization of education (DP), what are the impacts of these policies at the level of implications for Islamic tertiary institutions and what are the challenges of digitizing Islamic education in Indonesia? Indonesia. The research design used in this research is descriptive analysis. Data sources are collected from the internet, especially university websites. State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The results of this study are that the learning management system (LMS) is a medium that is widely used by UIN as well as using video conferencing or social media such as WhatasApp as a tool in the learning process. However, to make DP a tradition in higher education, UIN does not yet have supporting technology such as digital libraries and learning videos.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the generic skills (GS) of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) students in Indonesia. Respondents who participated in this study were madrasah students scattered in East Java and Central Java as representatives of MAs in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a survey distributed via Google Form. Three dimensions are mentioned in the research instrument for measuring GS: religious moderation, critical and creative thinking skills, and interpersonal skills. Using SPPS version 16 software, a descriptive analysis was employed as the data analysis technique. The results of this study showed that the GS of students with religious moderation indicators obtained the highest average of 54.03% on the Likert scale 4. Critical and creative thinking skills indicators obtained the highest average results, 67.99%, on the Likert scale 4. The indicator of interpersonal skill obtained the highest average of 55.88% on the Likert 4 scale. Hence, it is expected of educational institutions to implement policies to enhance the GS of MA students, particularly in creating a more student-oriented learning model, also known as student-centered learning.

Abstract

Generasi sekarang cenderung mencari informasi agama melalui media sosial dari pada belajar langsung dari guru atau kitab, yang berisiko menyebabkan pemahaman yang dangkal atau menyimpang. Fenomena ini mendorong perlunya pendidikan agama khususnya melalui pendekatan salafiyah yang diterapkan di lembaga seperti SMK Miftahul Huda Peron Limbangan Kendal. Jenis penelitian lapangan ini bersifat kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, data yang telah di dapat kemudian dianalisis melalui analisis data dengan tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi, penyajian data dan verifikasi atau kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Implementasi strategi pendidikan integral berbasis salafiyah di SMK Miftahul Huda Peron Limbangan Kendal dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan pendidikan agama dan umum untuk membentuk karakter religius peserta didik, melalui pengajaran kitab kuning, ibadah rutin, dan kolaborasi dengan pesantren, peserta didik diajarkan nilai-nilai akhlak mulia, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab. 2) Implikasi strategi pendidikan integral berbasis salafiyah di SMK Miftahul Huda Peron Limbangan Kendal terbukti efektif dalam membentuk karakter religius peserta didik dengan mengintegrasikan pendidikan agama dan umum, pembiasaan ibadah, pengajaran kitab kuning, dan nilai-nilai keislaman, peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan kedisiplinan, kepedulian sosial, dan akhlak mulia

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of interactive digital image media to enhance interfaith tolerance in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at multicultural elementary schools. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis from 15 fifth-grade students and one PAI teacher at SD Negeri Pulau Tembang. Findings revealed significant improvements in students’ understanding of tolerance and their attitudes toward religious diversity after eight sessions using interactive visuals (e.g., infographics, quizzes). The media fostered engagement, inclusive behavior, and reflective discussions. The study underscores the effectiveness of interactive digital tools in promoting tolerance and suggests their integration into PAI curricula. Limitations include the single-site design, warranting further research with broader samples.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of animated video media in Akidah Akhlak learning and its effect on enhancing students’ interest and creativity at MTs Arrohmah. The research responds to the growing demand for engaging, relevant digital media in the modern classroom to improve instructional quality and foster moral character. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected from students and teachers through observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that animated videos improved students’ attention, enthusiasm, and independent learning, while stimulating creative thinking and idea generation. They also simplified the understanding of abstract Akidah Akhlak concepts and promoted interactive, dynamic classroom engagement. Unlike previous studies that predominantly applied animated media in science or language learning, this research uniquely focuses on its integration into Islamic moral education at the madrasah level. This approach contributes an innovative and practical framework for leveraging digital animation to boost interest and creativity in religious education, supporting more meaningful and enjoyable learning in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in addressing the moral crisis triggered by viral culture among youth in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical library research method, the study explores how social media has reshaped youth values, identity, and moral orientation toward a culture of popularity and social validation. The findings reveal that viral culture weakens integrity and spirituality, leading to impulsive behavior and moral decline. Islamic Religious Education plays a strategic role as a moral and spiritual compass by strengthening digital literacy grounded in Islamic ethics, integrating religious values into learning, and empowering teachers as digital role models. Revitalizing PAI through adaptive curricula, technology-based learning innovations, and collaboration among schools, families, and communities is essential to form a digitally intelligent, ethically responsible, and spiritually grounded generation. This study concludes that PAI is not merely a religious subject but a transformative force in building moral and spiritual awareness amidst the rapid flow of digital culture.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya jumlah wirausahawan di Indonesia menunjukkan pentingnya penanaman jiwa kewirausahaan sejak usia dini sebagai bagian dari strategi pembangunan sumber daya manusia yang mandiri, kreatif, dan berkarakter. Pada jenjang sekolah dasar, pengembangan kewirausahaan belum terakomodasi dalam mata pelajaran khusus sehingga diperlukan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual yang memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada siswa. Salah satu bentuk implementasi yang relevan adalah kegiatan market day, khususnya pada sekolah berbasis Islam yang menekankan internalisasi nilai-nilai kewirausahaan Islami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan program market day serta perannya dalam mengembangkan karakter kewirausahaan Islami siswa di SDIT Harapan Bunda 2 Purwokerto. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek siswa kelas V dan VI, guru kelas, penanggung jawab program, serta orang tua. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber, metode, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program market day berperan signifikan dalam mengembangkan karakter kewirausahaan Islami siswa, yang tercermin pada nilai kejujuran (shidiq), tanggung jawab (amanah), kerja keras (mujahadah), dan keadilan (‘adl) dengan tingkat ketercapaian berada pada kategori baik dan persentase di atas 80%. Temuan ini diperkuat melalui penyajian grafik ketercapaian nilai karakter, tabel persentase indikator, serta dokumentasi kegiatan sebagai bukti empiris. Dengan demikian, market day terbukti efektif sebagai strategi pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis pengalaman dalam menanamkan karakter kewirausahaan Islami pada siswa sekolah dasar. ABSTRACT Indonesia’s abundant natural resources present significant potential for entrepreneurship development; however, the proportion of entrepreneurs remains relatively low, highlighting the importance of cultivating entrepreneurial character from an early age through education. This study focuses on analyzing the implementation of the market day program and its role in developing Islamic entrepreneurial character among elementary school students at SDIT Harapan Bunda 2 Purwokerto. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with purposively selected subjects consisting of fifth- and sixth-grade students actively involved in market day activities, classroom teachers, program coordinators, and parents. Data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using interactive data analysis techniques involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source, method, and time triangulation. The findings indicate that the market day program is implemented in a structured manner through four main stages: planning, production, selling, and evaluation. These stages effectively facilitate the internalization of Islamic entrepreneurial values, including honesty (shidiq), responsibility (amanah), hard work (mujahadah), and justice (‘adl). The results also show that sixth-grade students demonstrate higher levels of Islamic entrepreneurial character achievement compared to fifth-grade students, reflecting character reinforcement through sustained participation and experience. Overall, the study concludes that market day functions not only as a contextual economic learning activity but also as an effective experiential learning strategy for strengthening Islamic entrepreneurial character holistically at the elementary school level, thereby contributing both theoretically and practically to the development of character-based Islamic entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran Ahlus Shuffah di Pondok Pesantren Shuffah Hizbullah Maluku serta implikasinya terhadap pembentukan karakter santri. Pendidikan Ahlus Shuffah meneladani sistem pendidikan Rasulullah SAW yang menekankan keseimbangan antara penguatan spiritual, pengembangan intelektual, dan pembinaan sosial. Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya penelitian yang mengkaji aktualisasi model pendidikan Rasulullah SAW dalam pendidikan pesantren modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas pembelajaran dan kegiatan pesantren, wawancara mendalam dengan civitas akademika pesantren, pendidik, dan santri, serta dokumentasi program dan kegiatan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran Ahlus Shuffah diwujudkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis masjid, keteladanan guru (uswah ḥasanah), pembiasaan ibadah, internalisasi nilai kesederhanaan, serta keterlibatan santri dalam kegiatan pengabdian sosial. Implementasi model tersebut berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter santri yang religius, disiplin, mandiri, dan memiliki kepedulian sosial. Hal ini tercermin dalam konsistensi pelaksanaan salat berjamaah, kepatuhan terhadap tata tertib pesantren, serta kemampuan santri dalam mengelola aktivitas belajar dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, penerapan model Ahlus Shuffah juga berkorelasi dengan capaian prestasi santri, yang ditunjukkan melalui keberhasilan memperoleh Beasiswa Pendidikan Santri Berprestasi (PBSB) serta partisipasi dalam Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) dan Musabaqah Qira’atul Kutub (MQK) tingkat nasional. Penelitian ini menegaskan relevansi model Ahlus Shuffah sebagai alternatif pengembangan pendidikan Islam di pesantren masa kini
