Abstract

Masalah stunting pada anak masih menjadi perhatian serius di Indonesia, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan seperti Temanggung. Melihat urgensi tersebut, mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang berkolaborasi dengan pengurus Posyandu Mawar Temanggung melaksanakan sosialisasi mengenai pencegahan stunting. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat, terutama para ibu, mengenai pentingnya pemenuhan gizi anak sejak dini. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif dan simulasi pemberian makanan sehat bagi balita. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 30 peserta dari warga sekitar Posyandu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai stunting dan pentingnya pencegahan dini. Kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat berupa peningkatan literasi kesehatan masyarakat serta memperkuat kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dan lembaga masyarakat. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan pentingnya pendekatan komunikasi dalam penyuluhan kesehatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Website KRS online adalah salah satu sistem yang ada di Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang yang digunakan oleh civitas akademia (termasuk dosen, mahasiswa dan tenaga kependidikan) untuk merekap data akademik mahasiswa dalam jumlah yang tidak sedikit. Untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh efektif dan efisiennya dari sistem tersebut maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi. Evaluasi yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan usability testing dengan menggunakan lima kategori yaitu learnability, memorability, efficiency, errors, dan satisfaction. Kelima indikator tadi direpresentasikan dalam bentuk pernyataan kuesioner dan disebarkan secara daring kepada pengguna website KRS online. Adapun total sampel responden adalah sejumlah 118 orang. Metode uji yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi uji validitas yang terdiri dari uji reliabilitas dan uji korelasi. Signifikansi nilai Alpha yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebesar 0.05. Dari hasil uji validitas data yang dilakukan, seluruh indikator memiliki nilai diatas 0.05. Dari hasil uji reliabilitas seluruh pernyataan yang ada pada kuesioner juga memiliki nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0.93, yang berarti seluruh pernyataan sesuai. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pada Website KRS Online memiliki nilai paling tinggi pada indikator memorability sebesar 3.97 ini berarti bahwa Website KRS Online mudah diingat navigasi dan tata letaknya untuk mendapatkan informasi. Sedangkan untuk nilai terendah dari kelima indikator adalah pada indikator error dengan nilai sebesar 3 ini berarti bahwa pada Website KRS Online masih ditemukan banyak kesalahan atau error baik itu pada brokenlink, atau pada navigasi yang ada.

Abstract

Waste management remains a complex environmental issue in Indonesia that requires an interdisciplinary approach. This study aims to design and develop the Clean Earth application as a digital solution for community-based waste management by integrating the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach with Participatory Development Communication principles. A qualitative-descriptive method was employed through field observations, user interviews, interface prototyping, and limited user testing. The Clean Earth app consists of three core features: GoPah (scheduled waste collection), Barter (digital waste-bank system), and Education (interactive learning media on waste utilization). The System Usability Scale (SUS) evaluation involving 25 respondents yielded an average score of 84.6, categorized as Excellent Usability. Moreover, the Education feature effectively enhanced public awareness and understanding of sustainable waste practices. The findings demonstrate that integrating information technology with development communication can create a digital medium that is both functional and participatory, fostering behavioral change toward environmental responsibility. This study contributes to the formulation of an adaptive and inclusive Smart Circular Waste Management model applicable to various local community contexts in Indonesia.

Abstract

Candi merupakan bangunan kuno peninggalan Hindu-Buddha yang terbuat dari batu yang digunakan sebagai tempat ibadah. Beberapa candi memiliki persamaan yang signifikan khususnya dari segi struktur bangunan pada candi tersebut. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dengan arsitektur ResNet-50 untuk mengklasifikasikan citra candi di Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Pariwisata di provinsi ini memiliki nilai ekonomi dan kultural yang tinggi, terutama dengan warisan sejarah seperti Candi Borobudur dan Candi Mendut. Dengan banyaknya candi yang memiliki struktur serupa, penelitian ini memanfaatkan teknologi deep learning, khususnya CNN, untuk mengklasifikasikan citra berdasarkan tekstur bentuk. Dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik scrapping, diperoleh 400 dataset citra dari kedua candi tersebut. Proses Image pre-processing melibatkan resizing, grayscaling. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan 2 jenis skenario pengolahan citra sebelum diproses dengan CNN yaitu menggunakan CLAHE dan deteksi tepi dengan metode Canny. Dua skenario tersebut dievaluasi, dan memperoleh akurasi tertinggi sebesar 95% untuk penggunaan CLAHE sedangkan saat menggunakan deteksi tepi Canny didapatkan akurasi sebesar 91,25%. Proses klasifikasi menggunakan arsitektur ResNet-50, dan hasilnya menunjukkan keunggulan penggunaan CLAHE dengan selisih akurasi 3,75% dibandingkan dengan deteksi tepi Canny. Penerapan model mencakup desain Graphical User Interface (GUI) untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam mengklasifikasikan citra candi. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa CLAHE merupakan metode image pre-processing paling efektif untuk meningkatkan akurasi klasifikasi citra candi. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman tentang penerapan teknologi deep learning dalam mendukung identifikasi dan promosi warisan budaya, terutama di sektor pariwisata

Abstract

Saat ini, pengembangan sistem perangkat lunak komputer tidak hanya masalah fungsional. Antarmuka perangkat lunak sudah mulai menjadi fokus dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak saat ini. Evaluasi antarmuka digunakan untuk bahan perbaikan kekurangan antarmuka yang sulit dimengerti dan digunakan. Evaluasi usability merupakan fokus evaluasi oleh pengguna terhadap sistem untuk mengetahui seberapa mudah dipelajari dan digunakan sistem. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan model yang valid dari beberapa model usability yang dianalisa menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Evaluasi usability juga dilakukan untuk mendapatkan nilai seberapa tingkat kebergunaan dari antarmuka KRS Online ini. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan model kedua adalah model yang valid dengan loading factor dari usability ke Kemampuan Belajar 1.00, Usability ke Daya Ingat sebesar 1.00, Usability ke Efisiensi sebesar 0.86, Usability ke Kesalahan sebesar 0.73, dan Usability ke Kepuasan sebesar 0.73. Hasil pengukuran usability ini didapat bahwa nilai tertinggi pada variabel “Daya Ingat” dengan nilai rata – rata responden 4,19, dan nilai terendah pada “Error” dengan nilai rata – rata 2,9 dengan skala 5. Hasil pengujian model terdapat 1 hipotesis yang menyatakan tidak ada pengaruh positif antara variabel mudah menerima informasi secara detail dan spesifik pada KRS online, dengan responden dapat memahami isi dan konten informasi yang ditampilkan pada KRS online dengan mudah. Nilai terendah inilah yang perlu dijadikan perhatian dalam hal perbaikan sistem ke depan. AbstractNowadays, the development of computer software systems is not just a functional analysis. At this time, the software interface has begun to become a focus in software development. Interface improvements start with an interface evaluation. Usability evaluation is the focus of the assessment by users of the system to find out how easy to learn and use the system. This research aims to find valid models from several usability models that are analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Usability evaluation was also doing in this study to get the value of the usability level of this KRS Online interface. The experimental results show the second model is a valid model with a loading factor from Usability to Learning Ability of 1.00, Usability to Memory of 1.00, Usability to Efficiency of 0.86, Usability to Error of 0.73, and Usability to the satisfaction of 0.73. Results of usability measurement found that the highest value on the variable "Memory" with an average value of 4.19, and the lowest value on "Error" with an average value of 2.9 within 5 scale. The results of the model test the hypothesis that there is one there is no positive influence between the variables easily receive detailed and specific information about KRS online, with respondents able to understand the contents and the contents of the information displayed on KRS online with ease. This lowest value needs to be a concern for future system improvements.

Abstract

— Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a field of computer science aimed at developing machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. In recent years, the development of AI has shown significant progress, and its use has expanded across various sectors, including education. The application of AI in education offers various opportunities and challenges, such as personalized learning and enhancing students' skills, but also presents challenges in technological adaptation and ethical understanding. This paper discusses the utilization of AI-based facial recognition technology at SMK Kuncup Samigaluh, with the goal of enhancing students' competence in information technology. This community service activity involves a series of structured stages, including initial planning, activity implementation, discussion and Q&A, as well as evaluation and feedback. The results of this activity indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding of AI and facial recognition technology, as evidenced by the increase in post-test scores compared to pre-test scores. With an interactive demonstrative approach, this activity successfully provided a positive impact on students' knowledge and interest in AI, and broadened their horizons regarding career opportunities in information technology.

Abstract

Online news is one source of data that is always up to date and provides information or factual data. The search engine is one of the features for users to be able to enter keywords based on the expected category quickly. The development of education in Indonesia makes it essential to discuss, in this study using unstructured data in online news with the keyword Education included as a parameter, and adding search methods in the field of Artificial Intelligence so that the data becomes more accurate. Data that used here was from online news, namely CNN Indonesia, Detikcom, and Liputan6. Using Python Programming with depth-first search method (DFS), when compared with the results data for relevant news. Web erosion using DFS will be very helpful in searching because this method can check the date data was sent and then track the destination URL. Of the three online media sites, Detikcom produces the highest monthly data yielding an average of 885 news about education. At the same time, Liputan6 has the least amount of data on average, 28 news per month, but the data obtained are very relevant compared to Detikcom and CNN Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the efficiency of management at Bengkel Selbaf, a motorcycle injection specialist workshop located in Kuncen, Badran, Kranggan, Temanggung, Central Java. Currently, the workshop relies on manual processes for ordering, scheduling home services, and managing finances and bookkeeping, leading to confusion and difficulties in registration, service queues, and data processing. To address these issues, this study employs the Agile Software Development method to design and develop a web-based application that facilitates workshop management. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and literature review. The result of this research is a "Web-Based Workshop Management Application" that implements the First Come First Served (FCFS) algorithm for service arrangement. It is expected that this system will improve data management efficiency for the workshop owner and make it easier for customers to order home services, while also providing transparency and fairness in the service queue process.

Abstract

This study thoroughly examined responsible consumption implemented in Indonesia's ride-hailing services. We employed a mixed-methods approach that integrated quantitative data from the Socially Responsible Purchase and Disposal (SRPD) questionnaire with qualitative insights derived from think-aloud protocols and interviews. Our objective was to examine data and identify discrepancies between attitudes and behaviors among young individuals aged 18-29 to provide directions for future research. The results of our study uncovered substantial disparities between the attitudes that participants expressed and their subsequent actions. Although individuals acknowledge the importance of responsible consumption, the testing shows that they rarely use features related to responsible consumption, such as carbon funds, electric vehicle options, and tipping. Several key factors they stated are increased cost, lack of awareness of the features of responsible consumption, lack of perceived trust, and transparency of funds. Based on the interview, the personal connection between participants and ride-hailing drivers encourages them to tip more. Our research highlights the critical gap between attitudes and actions in responsible ride-hailing services in Indonesia's younger generation, which can be solved by implementing proper digital nudges. This research emphasizes the importance of further research to bridge this gap and encourage more accountable digital consumption.

Abstract

The library serves as a literacy center for students, where it is expected to have adequate facilities and infrastructure for visitors. In the current digital era, the management and recording no longer rely on handwritten books, leading to discrepancies in bookkeeping and other records. The web-based library system at MTs Negeri 3 Magelang was initially created to assist librarians in addressing challenges and issues arising from manual recording. However, the features of the system have not fully optimized user needs. Therefore, a thorough evaluation is needed to identify user needs related to recording. In response, a redesign was carried out using the design thinking method to better meet the needs of users for the Library System at MTs Negeri 3 Magelang. The results of usability testing using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) method, with an average ranging from 6.5 to 7, indicate that the prototype of the Library System at MTs Negeri 3 Magelang has achieved a good level of effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
