Abstract

The development of mobile technology and the use of mobile applications are increasing, especially in the campus environment. The Information System for Certification of Graduation Supporting Documents (SISFO SKPI) UNIMMA is a system that functions as a storage and data processing place to help the process of issuing certification of graduation supporting documents for students. Currently, UNIMMA still uses a website-based application. However, the use of the SISFO SKPI UNIMMA website is not optimal and does not pay attention to good User interface (UI) and User experience (UX) design, so users feel uncomfortable when using the application. Therefore, this study aims to redesign the User interface (UI) and User experience (UX) of the SISFO SKPI UNIMMA application from the website to a mobile-based application using the Design thinking method. The Design thinking method was chosen because it is able to explore various possible solutions by involving users as the main subject. This research was conducted with the Design thinking stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The results of the study show that the UI/UX design of the SISFO SKPI UNIMMA application using the Design thinking method is able to improve the quality of the user experience in using the SISFO SKPI UNIMMA application. This is evidenced by the results of usability testing which show a significant increase in user satisfaction with the application. The UI/UX design of the SISFO SKPI UNIMMA application is expected to be a basis for further development of the SKPI UNIMMA application.

Abstract

Waste is worsening in Magelang City, especially in urban areas. As a result of poorly managed waste disposal, a landfill is needed. Magelang City has a landfill called TPA Banyuurip, located in Plumbon Hamlet, Banyuurip Village, Tegalrejo Subdistrict, Magelang City. From this case, the application of the kmeans clustering method to determine the efficiency of the waste transportation route to the landfill is needed. The research began by conducting direct observations at the Banyuurip landfill by interviewing the drivers of waste vehicles to find out information such as waste sources, transportation schedules, etc. In this study, the data used are the name and address of the supplier, sub-district, coordinate point, and distance from the supplier's place to the landfill. After data collection, data preprocessing is done by dividing and selecting data based on sub-districts. Then the data is processed using the kmeans clustering algorithm to divide the route efficiency and the haversine formula algorithm to determine the closest distance between clusters. After the data has been successfully processed, the number of clusters is 4 for north Magelang, where each cluster will become a corridor with four routes. For central Magelang, 2 clusters with two routes, while for south Magelang, the results are 4 clusters with four routes. From these results, the evaluation results using silhouette score for data clustering of 3 sub-districts are 0.632560 for North Magelang, 0.640667 for Central Magelang, and 0.630186 for South Magelang. This method is expected to help in grouping routes and mapping supplier areas effectively and efficiently in the waste transportation process in Magelang City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya pengelolaan sampah dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara lingkungan dan kepadatan penduduk di perkotaan. Sampah merupakan masalah yang memerlukan perhatian serius dari pemerintah dan masyarakat. Pemerintah Kota Magelang telah menghadapi kendala terkait ruang penampungan sampah dan jarak antara TPS dan TPA. Untuk mengatasi ini, dibuatlah sistem monitoring volume sampah sebagai platform efisien untuk mengumpulkan dan memantau data volume sampah yang masuk ke TPA. Pendekatan SDLC dengan model Waterfall digunakan dalam pengembangan website ini. Data volume sampah diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan data deret waktu. Website ini dibuat menggunakan perangkat lunak seperti Visual Studio Code, Database, Bootstrap, dan Font Awesome untuk tampilan yang menarik dan responsif. Implementasi Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Data Volume Sampah di TPSA Banyuurip membantu petugas dalam mencatat jumlah sampah dan memperbarui data dari TPS, Armada, dan Supir. Uji pengguna dilakukan untuk meningkatkan antarmuka dan pengalaman pengguna. Dengan pengelolaan sampah yang terus ditingkatkan, diharapkan tercipta kebersihan dan keberlanjutan lingkungan yang baik.

Abstract

Online news is one source of data that is always up to date and provides information or factual data. The search engine is one of the features for users to be able to enter keywords based on the expected category quickly. The development of education in Indonesia makes it essential to discuss, in this study using unstructured data in online news with the keyword Education included as a parameter, and adding search methods in the field of Artificial Intelligence so that the data becomes more accurate. Data that used here was from online news, namely CNN Indonesia, Detikcom, and Liputan6. Using Python Programming with depth-first search method (DFS), when compared with the results data for relevant news. Web erosion using DFS will be very helpful in searching because this method can check the date data was sent and then track the destination URL. Of the three online media sites, Detikcom produces the highest monthly data yielding an average of 885 news about education. At the same time, Liputan6 has the least amount of data on average, 28 news per month, but the data obtained are very relevant compared to Detikcom and CNN Indonesia.

Abstract

Currently, e-commerce has become a crucial necessity for society as it provides convenience and comfort in shopping. MizanStore, as an e-commerce platform, enables people to search for and purchase various products they need without leaving their homes. In this ever-evolving era, the use of mobile platforms is preferred over websites due to advantages such as easy accessibility and better user experience. Hence, a research study was conducted to design optimal user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) through the development of the MizanStore mobile application. The User Centered Design (UCD) methodology was implemented in this research, involving four main stages. These stages encompassed understanding the application's usability, conducting in-depth analysis of user needs, developing responsive design solutions, and evaluating through continuous testing. By employing this approach, existing issues were identified and addressed, resulting in a prototype design model that aligns with user expectations and desires. Testing was conducted with the participation of 10 users, utilizing the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The results indicated that MizanStore obtained an average SUS score of 90, demonstrating high user satisfaction and alignment between the application and their needs. These findings provide a solid foundation for further improvement and development of MizanStore. Consequently, MizanStore can continue to deliver an optimal shopping experience and better meet user needs.

Abstract

Produksi sampah meningkat sejalan dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk. Pengelolaan sampah diperlukan untuk mengurangi sampah yang semakin meningkat salah satunya dengan pemilahan jenis-jenis sampah. Namun, masyarakat masih kesulitan dalam melakukan pemilahan sampah sehingga diperlukan teknologi yang membantu dalam memilah sampah agar tercipta pengelolaan sampah yang optimal. Pada penelitian ini, akan digunakan model ResNet-50 sebagai base model untuk melakukan klasifikasi jenis-jenis sampah. ResNet-50 akan dimodifikasi dengan ditambahkan beberapa layer dan fine-tuning untuk mendapatkan hasil yang optimal. Dari hasil penelitian yang membagi jenis-jenis sampah menjadi 7 kelas ( cardboard , glass , metal , paper , plastic , trash dan compost ) dengan menggunakan parameter batch size sebesar 16, jumlah epoch 18, learning rate sebesar 0.0001 dengan optimizer Adam menghasilkan nilai evaluasi kinerja dengan nilai akurasi mencapai 98.70%. Hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu memilah sampah dengan lebih maksimal.

Abstract

Waste in Indonesia, especially in Magelang City, has become a serious problem due to rapid population growth. Waste management issues, including landfills and collection, need effective handling. Data mining methods, such as K-Means clustering, can help identify areas with the highest levels of waste generation. This approach provides insights for the development of a more focused and efficient waste management strategy, a significant contribution to the improvement of Magelang City. By identifying the areas with the highest waste generation, waste management measures can be directed more efficiently and effectively. This includes increasing the transparency, capacity, and role of waste banks, as well as other efforts to reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment and human health. After clustering, the waste in Magelang City was grouped into 3 clusters according to the supplier area and the volume of waste. Then after the evaluation stage with the silhouette score displays a value of 0.79 which is a good value because it is close to the value of 1.0. With this method, it is expected that the city government in handling waste in Magelang city can be done optimally, efficiently, and on target

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggabungkan kegiatan Kampus Mengajar dalam lingkup pendidikan dasar untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi dan numerasi di kalangan siswa SD Negeri Purborejo, Temanggung. Pendekatan yang digunakan melibatkan mahasiswa sebagai mitra guru yang berkolaborasi dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran inovatif. Program ini berhasil menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang memotivasi siswa untuk meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi mereka. Keterlibatan mahasiswa sebagai mitra guru membawa pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan interaktif. Strategi pembelajaran inovatif, termasuk penerapan teknologi, telah meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah mereka. Selain itu, program ini juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan guru dalam menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang efektif.

Abstract

Complaints have a very important role in creating comfort and safety in an effort to build awareness in waste management in Magelang City. It involves various parties, ranging from the government, the community, to the private sector. Although the Magelang City Environmental Agency is responsible for the implementation of service functions related to waste management and the environment, its implementation has not reached an optimal level due to constraints from the current service mechanism. The media used to submit complaints is still ineffective, thus hampering the communication process between the people who complain about the problem and the officers who follow up on the complaint. The system development method applied is the Lean Software Development method. This research aims to build a complaint management system related to waste in order to overcome the challenges faced today. This system is built in the form of a web and uses the PHP programming language and applies the MySQL database, while also using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. This system is expected to contribute to improving the effectiveness of waste and environment-related complaint management in Magelang City, making it easier for the community to submit complaints and officers can respond and follow up on reported problems more quickly, as well as strengthening efforts to build awareness of the importance of good waste management for environmental comfort and safety
