Abstract

Candirejo Village is located in Borobudur District, also known as Candirejo Tourist Village. KOPERASI WISATA was established for the purpose of managing tourist destinations at the village.One of the tourism destination is named Nagari Wayang Kertas which located at Dusun Sangen. All the tourist comes to the village have to go through process from the thirds party which called KOPERASI WISATA. Those causes the arrival process innefective because they can not directly contacting the owner of the tourism destination. Solving this problem, designing a web-based reservation system for Nagari Wayang Kertas  facilitating the booking process would improve the time efficiency required for reservations. The methods of data collecting in this research includes observation, interviews, and literature review. The software development process itself using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method due to its high success rate in software development. The implemented algorithms which used in this research are Selection Sort and First Come First Served maximizing the efficiency of the reservation process for visitors. Before being tested and implemented to the users, the testing system uses the black-box testing method. The results of the testing method showing that the function of the designed system works and operates as expected and needed

Abstract

Patient visit prediction is a crucial aspect of community health center management to optimize the allocation of available resources. However, the erratic pattern of patient visits often complicates the planning and decision-making processes. This research aims to develop a patient visit prediction model for Grabag 1 Community Health Center using the backpropagation artificial neural network method. Backpropagation is a learning algorithm technique used in artificial neural network models with multiple hidden layers. In this research, there are several stages of data processing, including selecting the data attributes used, handling missing values, data normalization, sliding window, and dividing the data into training and testing sets. This prediction can be utilized by the health center to efficiently plan resource requirements, such as scheduling medical staff, managing medication supplies, and maintaining supporting facilities. The data used in this research is a time series spanning from 2019 to 2023. After conducting various experiments, the best results were obtained using a combination of 500 epochs, 30 input neurons, 1 hidden layer, 7 hidden neurons, and 1 output neuron. This artificial neural network architecture configuration achieved a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.00229501 for the training data and 0.00782101 for the testing data.

Abstract

Abstrak—Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah banyak dimanfaatkan oleh banyak perguruan tinggi untuk menunjang operasionalnya guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas. Education Management Information System (EMIS) merupakan salah satu produk teknologi informasi. Namun, implementasi EMIS dihadapkan pada beberapa masalah. Implementasi EMIS kompleks dan bergantung pada kebijakan organisasi, struktural, teknologi, dan faktor manusia untuk menjadi sukses. Ini juga membutuhkan pemantauan reflektif dan multidimensi untuk memberikan umpan balik yang berkelanjutan untuk memastikan keberhasilan. Artikel ini memberikan tinjauan literatur yang komprehensif tentang pemantauan dan penerapan EMIS serta tantangan dan rekomendasi bagi pemangku kepentingan pemerintah dan institusi akademik. Pencarian literatur terdiri dari dua strategi. Yang pertama adalah pencarian sistematis dari 6 database (JSTOR, IEEE, Science direct, Taylor & Francis, Proquest, Emerald). Kedua, tinjauan pustaka meta-narasi adalah fase pencarian informal eksploratif yang diikuti dengan identifikasi konsep-konsep kunci, teori-teori dan metode-metode yang disukai untuk memahami kumpulan literatur yang kompleks dan heterogen. Menggunakan kedua strategi dari 21 publikasi yang relevan, kebijakan, perencanaan dan pelaksanaan EMIS diidentifikasi.

Abstract

Rute terpendek dari suatu perjalanan akan mempersingkat waktu tempuh. Begitu juga dalam hal pencarian tenaga ahli. Saat meminta rute dari satu titik (titik awal) ke lokasi lain (titik tujuan), biasanya hasil yang keluar adalah "jalur terpendek" dari titik awal ke titik tujuan. Jalur terpendek adalah masalah untuk menemukan jalur antara dua atau lebih simpul dalam graf berbobot minimum. Untuk mempermudah penyelesaian masalah jalur terpendek, maka diperlukan algoritma pencarian. Algoritma Dijkstra memecahkan masalah pencarian jalur terpendek antara dua simpul dalam graf berbobot dengan jumlah total terkecil, dengan mencari jarak terpendek antara simpul awal dan simpul lainnya, sehingga jalur yang terbentuk dari simpul awal ke simpul tujuan memiliki jumlah bobot terkecil. Pada penelitian ini, algoritma Dijkstra mencari jalur terpendek berdasarkan bobot terkecil dari satu titik ke titik lainnya, sehingga dapat membantu memberikan pilihan jalur. Berdasarkan uji coba algoritma Dijkstra memiliki kemampuan untuk mencari jalur terpendek, karena pada algoritma tersebut setiap graf dipilih sisi dengan bobot minimum yang menghubungkan simpul terpilih dengan simpul lain yang belum terpilih

Abstract

The tourism sector as an economic activity has become a potential mainstay and development priority for a number of countries. Especially for developing countries such as Indonesia which has a large area potential with a large enough tourist attraction. The potential of tourism in Indonesia stretches widely from the Province of Nangroe Aceh Darussalam to the Province of Papua with all the diversity of tourism objects, arts and culture and the availability of tourism supporting facilities and infrastructure that are capable of driving the people's economy. So that the number of tourists continues to increase and does not experience saturation of tourist objects, there needs to be development in the tourism sector. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of natural and cultural tourism in Indonesia. To achieve this goal, research methods are used by mapping the distribution of natural and cultural tourism in Indonesia, by plotting the tourist sites. In order to determine the distribution of natural and cultural tourism in Indonesia, descriptive research methods are used by describing maps. From this description, it is necessary to have an information system that provides information about tourist sites in Indonesia. One of the presentations of this tourism information is through displaying in the form of data or information related to geographical conditions in the territory of Indonesia, this system is often known as the Geographic Information System (GIS). The existence of a geographic information system will provide an alternative convenience for the public to find information about tourist locations and information in Indonesia and provide convenience to the Department of Culture and Tourism in Indonesia in processing data on information on tourist locations in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop UnityPet, an integrated application for pet owners and professionals in the pet industry, using the Design Thinking methodology. The application is designed to address specific user needs by providing various services, including online veterinary consultations, grooming services, pet sitting, an online store for pet supplies, and interactive features for communication between users and professionals. The research process includes five key stages of Design Thinking: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The Empathize stage identifies primary challenges faced by users, such as the difficulty in finding a comprehensive platform for pet-related services and communication barriers with professionals. The Define stage formulates the core user problems as a foundation for ideation, where various application features are developed according to these needs. In the Prototype stage, wireframes and interactive prototypes are created to visualize and test the application’s functionality. Finally, usability testing is conducted in the Test phase to assess the application’s effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and user-friendliness. The testing results indicate an effectiveness rate of 84%, with efficiency, accuracy, and user-friendliness scores reaching 92%, surpassing the acceptance threshold of 75%. These findings demonstrate that UnityPet is not only functional but also offers an intuitive and satisfying user experience. UnityPet successfully meets usability standards and is ready for implementation, promising a positive contribution to the pet care industry

Abstract

Public speaking is an essential skill that should be mastered by all individuals, including middle school students, as it is valuable not only in academic settings but also in social and professional contexts. This community service initiative aims to enhance public speaking skills and boost the confidence of middle school students through a combination of presentation and role-playing methods. The training consisted of a series of sessions where students were given opportunities to prepare and deliver structured presentations, as well as practice speaking in simulated, real-life scenarios. The results of the program showed significant improvement in both the verbal and non-verbal communication skills of the students. Those who initially lacked confidence became more capable of organizing effective presentations, utilizing appropriate body language, and responding to their audience effectively. Additionally, the training helped students overcome anxiety associated with public speaking, increasing their courage to speak in front of others. While some students may still require a more personalized approach, the overall methods proved to be effective in developing public speaking skills. This training is expected to provide long-term benefits in students' soft skill development and could serve as a sustainable program within schools.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have changed the way people interact and access information, including in education. One educational event that has caught the public's attention is Clash of Champions by Ruangguru, designed to increase young people's interest in learning through an interactively presented competition. The purpose of this study is to use posts on X social media to examine public opinion on the event. Using TweetHarvest, 1,891 tweets were gathered and preprocessed (cleaning, case folding, normalization, tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, and English translation). A total of 12 experimental scenarios were created by combining VADER and TextBlob labeling strategies with class balancing techniques (undersampling and SMOTE), and the LSTM and BERT models were evaluated for each scenario. The best results were achieved by combining VADER, SMOTE, and BERT, yielding an accuracy of 97.73%, with precision, recall, and F1-scores of 98%, 98%, and 96% (positive), 99% (neutral), and 98% (negative), respectively. These findings highlight the efficacy of transformer-based models like BERT in addressing class imbalance and improving sentiment classification. The integration of SMOTE effectively mitigated class imbalance, providing consistent and accurate performance across all sentiment categories.

Abstract

The spread of information about COVID-19 spreads so fast that the information circulating in the community has not been confirmed. This causes excessive anxiety and fear. There are several approaches to getting things done like design thinking, design sprint, and lean UX. With the right approach, this kind of situation will be resolved. From these problems, in this research, problem-solving will be carried out using a design thinking method. Because design thinking is the best method for developing innovative products. The design thinking process consists of 5 stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test. This research has carried out all these stages. The prototyping process uses the Figma mirror application to produce a more real experience for users. Then the prototype was tested on 5 respondents. After the test is carried out, it shows the success data based on predetermined indicators in the form of task 1 success is 80%, task 2 success is 100% successful, task 3 success is 60%, task 4 success is 40%, task 5 success is 100% and task 6 has 60% success. so that the average success of the prototype made is 88%. This means that the prototype developed with the design thinking method is easy for users to use. However, there are still features that have a low yield of 40%. So in the next iteration, it is necessary to improve the interface display that focuses on the call doctor feature based on user feedback.

Abstract

Mobile-based savings apps offer convenience in financial planning and management.However, many apps still face challenges regarding user experience (UI/UX) quality, which impacts user adoption and satisfaction. Poor user experience is often caused by interfaces that are not user-centered and a lack of understanding of users' needs. To address this issue, the Design Thinking approach, which focuses on empathy and innovative solutions,has become an increasingly popular methodology in application design. This study examines the application of the Design Thinking method in designing the UI/UX of savings apps, focusing on creating an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. The development process follows five main stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The results of applying this method show that the Empathize stage helps developers understand users'saving habits and challenges.In contrast, the prototype stage allows for testing design solutions that better align with user expectations. This study also developed a web-based learning application prototype called "Nyelengi", which aims to assist various groups in managing personal finances. The prototype was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure the quality of the user experience. The SUS calculation result scored 82,indicating reasonable user satisfaction with the app's interface and functionality. This score suggests that the app design produced through the Design Thinking approach effectively provides a user-friendly, intuitive, and easy-to-use experience. This study indicates that the application of Design Thinking can enhance user satisfaction, promote wider adoption of financial technology, and contribute to the development of more innovative and user-responsive applications
