Abstract

This study aims to determine mental health in the form of stress levels and psychological well-being in former drug addicts at the Mitra Alam Foundation, Surakarta. The research population is former drug addicts who have been rehabilitated and declared cured at the Mitra Alam Foundation as many as 100 with a sample of 50 people. This study uses a quantitative research method using the psychological well-being scale and the DASS 21 stress level. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the level of psychological well-being of former drug addicts at Mitra Alam Foundation is high, namely 70%, very high 18% and moderate 12%. While the mental health of former drug addicts at Mitra Alam Foundation as a whole showed symptoms of mild mental disorders by 56%, moderate 34% and normal 10% which were described as follows: normal stress levels (82%), mild stress (18%), anxiety (anxiety) normal 24%, mild anxiety (50%) and moderate anxiety (26%), normal depression category (88%), mild depression (10%), and moderate depression (2%). The correlation between stress levels and psychological well-being of former drug addicts at Mitra Alam Foundation was analyzed using linear regression and showed a correlation result of 0.157 with a coefficient of determination (r square) 0.025 which means that the influence of the independent variable, namely the level of stress on the psychological well-being of ex-addicts Drugs in Mitra Alam Foundation is 2.5% and others are influenced by other factors. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesehatan mental berupa tingkat stress dan kesejahteraan psikologis pada mantan pecandu NAPZA di Yayasan Mitra Alam Surakarta. Populasi penelitian merupakan mantan pecandu NAPZA yang pernah direhabilitasi dan dinyatakan sembuh di Yayasan Mitra Alam yaitu sebanyak 100 dengan sampel yang diambil yaitu sebanyak 50 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan skala kesejahteraan psikologis dan tingkat stress DASS 21. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kesejahteraan psikologis para mantan pecandu NAPZA di Yayasan Mitra Alam tergolong tinggi yaitu 70%, sangat tinggi 18% dan sedang 12%. Sedangkan Kesehatan mental para mantan pecandu NAPZA di Yayasan Mitra Alam secara keseluruhan menunjukkan gejala gangguan mental ringan sebesar 56%, sedang 34% dan normal 10% yang dijabarkan sebagai berikut: tingkat stress normal (82%), stress ringan (18%), kecemasan (anxiety) normal 24%, kecemasan ringan (50%) dan kecemasan sedang (26%), kategori depresi normal (88%), depresi ringan (10%), dan depresi sedang (2%). Korelasi antara tingkat stres dan kesejahteraan psikologis para mantan pecandu NAPZA di Yayasan Mitra Alam dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linier dan menunjukkan hasil korelasi sebesar 0,157 dengan koefisien determinasi (r square) 0,025 yang mengandung arti bahwa pengaruh variabel bebas yaitu Tingkat Stres terhadap Kesejahteraan Psikologis para mantan pecandu NAPZA di Yayasan Mitra Alam adalah sebesar 2,5% dan lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini

Abstract

The aim of this research is to discover whether SEFT therapy can reduce students' anxiety levels. This experimental research was conducted on 52 fourth semester midwifery students, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta who were categorized as moderate and severe anxiety. Random sampling was carried out on them to obtain a control group and an experimental group. The Mann-Whitney test showed there was no difference between the pretest in the control group and the pretest in the experimental group with p value = 0.599 > 0.05. Meanwhile, in the posttest, the value of p = 0.000 and follow-up p = 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is a difference in the posttest and follow-up between the control group and the experimental group. The Wilcoxon test shows that the p value for the pretest and posttest in the experimental group = 0.000 and posttest with follow-up = 0.000 >< 0.05, meaning there is a difference between the pretest and posttest, as well as posttest and follow-up in the experimental group. On the other hand, in the control group, the p value in the pretest and posttest = 0.068 and posttest with follow up = 0.251 > 0.05, meaning there is no difference between pretest and posttest, or posttest and follow-up in the control group. It can be said that the anxiety level of the experimental group experienced a significant decrease after being given SEFT Therapy

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk membantu peserta mengatasi stress yang dialaminya dengan menggunakan teknik brain gym. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan asesmen terlebih dahulu untuk mengukur tingkat stress yang dialami oleh peserta, kemudian dilakukan pelatihan brain gym dan setelah itu dilakukan pengukuran kembali untuk melihat efektivitas dari pelatihan brain gym tersebut. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan brain gym dapat menurunkan tingkat stress para peserta pelatihan.

Abstract

Anak berkebutuhan memiliki kondisi yang lebih kompleks dibandingkan dengan anak-anak pada umumnya, sehingga diperlukan penanganan tambahan dan khusus sesuai dengan kondisi anak. Hal tersebut dapat memicu berbagai dinamika dan stres khususnya pada orang tua. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pelatihan manajemen stres kepada orang tua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan diskusi interaktif dan pelatihan teknik-teknik manajemen stres. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat melakukan teknik-teknik manajemen stres secara mandiri. Teknik-teknik manajemen stres yang dilatihkan yaitu teknik pernapasan, butterfly hug, healing touch dan mindfulness

Abstract

Apart from providing various conveniences, excessive internet use can also have negative impacts, one of which is problematic internet use (PIU). This research aims to find out studies regarding problematic internet use in teenagers so that further research can be carried out. The research method used is a biometric analysis using VOSviewer on published articles indexed by Scopus from 2018 to 2023. The research results show that searching journals on the scopus.com site with the keyword "Problematic Internet Use" brings up 413 journals. After that, it was reduced based on four aspects, namely (1) scientific articles written in English, (2) literature in the form of scientific articles published in Scopus-indexed journals, (3) articles published in 2018-2023, and (4) open journals. access. After carrying out the exclusion process based on these limitations, 101 journals were included. Based on data on the development of Scopus-indexed journals regarding problematic internet use from 2018 to 2023, the highest development was in 2022 with 25 journals and the lowest was in 2019 with 10 journals. In author collaboration, there were 406 authors but only 17 authors collaborated and were members of five groups. This shows the lack of significance of collaboration between authors. Apart from that, several research variables have opportunities for further research, such as those related to PIU prevention, family relationships, and emotional regulation.

Abstract

Pandemic covid-19 memunculkan berbagai mulai dari aspek ekonomi, kesehatan, pendidikan, dan aspek sosial yang lain. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan agar siswa dapat mengikuti kegiatan belajar dengan suka cita tanpa tertekan baik di sekolah maupun di rumah sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan serta untuk memelihara kesehatan mental siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini adalah observasi, identifikasi masalah, perumusan masalah, kegiatan dan output. Kesimpulan dari yaitu pemahaman siswa TK Alit Smart Surakarta tentang protokol kesehatan meningkat dan siswa dapat mempraktekkan enam langkah cara mencuci tangan dengan benar, serta mengetahui cara menjaga imunitas seperti makan makanan bergizi, berolah raga, istirahat cukup. Siswa TK Alif Smart Surakarta juga memahami cara mengatasi kebosanan saat berada di rumah dengan melakukan kegiatan yang bermanfaat seperti membantu orang tua, berolah raga, bermain dengan anggota keluarga, memasak, dan lain-lain.

Abstract

Marital satisfaction is an essential aspect of family life. Individuals who experience satisfaction in their marriage tend to exhibit positive emotions leading to happiness, which is associated with their subjective well-being encompassing their overall life satisfaction. Every individual naturally desires subjective well-being in their lives, including adolescents who marry due to unplanned pregnancies. Therefore, the aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between marital satisfaction and subjective well-being among adolescents who married because of unplanned pregnancies. The research methodology employed in this study is quantitative, with a total sampling technique used to select 64 adolescents who married due to unplanned pregnancies as participants. The data analysis method utilized in this study is the Pearson product-moment correlation. The analysis results reveal a correlation of r = -0.356 with a significance level of 0.004 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between marital satisfaction and subjective well-being. The positive direction of this relationship suggests that lower marital satisfaction corresponds to lower subjective well-being, and vice versa

Abstract

The advancing development of information and communication technology has resulted in the widespread integration of gadgets into nearly all aspects of daily life and the learning process. The use of gadgets not only facilitates daily activities but, when used excessively, can give rise to adverse consequences, one of which is Nomophobia. Individuals experiencing nomophobia develop a dependency on their smartphones, leading to excessive worry when they are separated from their smartphone or when its battery is depleted. There are several efforts aimed at preventing the emergence of Nomophobia, one of which involves self-regulation. The objective of this research is to examine the role of self-regulation in the predisposition towards Nomophobia among university students. The research design employed is quantitative correlational with a non-probability sampling technique, specifically purposive sampling. The research population comprises 1,411 university students at University X, with a sample size of 93 students determined using the Slovin formula. Data was collected using the Nomophobia questionnaire developed by Yildirim and the Self-Regulation scale by Bandura. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, an R value of 0.288 was obtained (F = 8.230; p smaller than 0.05).  Based on the results of data analysis and discussion that has been presented, the results show that self-regulation has a positive effect on nomophobia. The effective contribution of self-regulation to the propensity for nomophobia is 18.3%, while the remaining 81.7% is attributed to other variables or factors. The research findings indicate that 71% of the subjects exhibit high self-regulation, 18.3% possess very high self-regulation, and 10.2% demonstrate moderate self-regulation. As for the tendency towards Nomophobia among the research subjects, 34.4% display a low tendency, 25.8% fall into the moderate category, 20% exhibit a high tendency towards Nomophobia, and 19.8% are classified as having a very high tendency.

Abstract

This comparative quantitative study examined smartphone addiction rates among children using a modified Smartphone Addiction Questionnaire, focusing on differences between preschool and primary school students to inform prevention and health promotion strategies. For preschool participants, parents completed the questionnaire, whereas for primary school children, both parents and children provided responses. The assessment tool demonstrated robust psychometric properties, with validity established through rigorous evaluation and high internal consistency for both the children’s and parents’ scales, as indicated by Cronbach’s alpha coefficients. The study cohort comprised 832 participants, including 104 preschool-aged children, 336 parents of primary school-aged children, and 392 primary school students. The prevalence of smartphone addiction differed significantly across groups, with primary school students exhibiting higher rates than preschool-aged children (p < 0.05). This disparity was consistent across both parent- and child-reported measures. Nevertheless, 3.8% of preschool-aged children were classified as high risk for smartphone addiction, with an additional 1% at very high risk, necessitating parental vigilance. Among primary school students, the prevalence was higher, with 7.4%–9.8% at high risk and 0.8%–2.1% at very high risk

Abstract

The Project for Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile (P5-PPRA) learning program has been declared a mandatory program within the Merdeka Curriculum. However, teachers at Aisyiyah Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Gatak District lack adequate understanding of it. The objective of this community service activity was to enhance Aisyiyah PAUD teachers' understanding of the P5-PPRA learning program. The methods used included lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and discussions. After participating in the socialization, participants' knowledge and understanding of the concepts, principles, and benefits of P5-PPRA increased from 58.13% to 90.69%. This improved understanding equips Aisyiyah PAUD teachers with sufficient preparation to implement the P5-PPRA learning program in the classroom. Mastery of the P5-PPRA learning program is expected to improve the quality of Aisyiyah PAUD education.
