Abstract

This study aims to produce M-learning media that is effective, practical, effective by including character education and the ability to solve problems in the media in cube material and building blocks. This study adopted the ADDIE development design model which included five main stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subject of this study was a grade VIII student of SMP Negeri 10 Sungai Kakap, totaling 15 students. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, and pretest and posttest questions. The results showed that the average level of verification of mobile learning media by the three experts was 85.56%, meets the very valid criteria. The cumulative score of teacher and student questionnaires reaches 88.66%, very practical. The results of inferential statistical tests from pretest and posttest using the t test, it was found that T_Hitung -t_table with significant α = 5% which means there is a significant difference in the ability to solve problems between before and after using mobile learning media so that it can be said that the media is classified as effective. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of mobile learning media combined with character education on the ability to solve the geometry problem of junior high school students is valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan guru tentang pembuatan Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) M-Learning bermuatan karakter dan karya tulis ilmiah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan dengan mengadopsi empat langkah action research, yaitu: perencanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi, dan refleksi. Peserta pengabdian sebanyak 36 orang yang merupakan guru dan anggota PGRI Kabupaten Kayong Utara. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara luring di PGRI Kabupaten Kayong Utara Kalimantan Barat. Hasil PKM melalui pelatihan pembuatan SSP M-Learning bermuatan karakter dan karya tulis ilmiah disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) guru sangat memahami dalam penyusunan SSP terutama dalam mengintegrasikan pilar pendidikan karakter di dalam proses pembelajaran melalui pembuatan RPP; (2) guru sangat kreatif dalam pembuatan bahan ajar yang bermuatan karakter; (3) sesama guru aktif berdiskusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran khususnya dalam masa pandemi Covid-19; (4) guru memahami dengan baik cara membuat karya tulis ilmiah sebagai syarat kenaikan pangkat guru; dan (5) peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pembuatan SSP M-Learning bermuatan karakter dan karya tulis ilmiah sebanyak 94,44% guru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study in general was to find out which was better between the Problem Based Learning model and classical learning of mathematical problem-solving abilities in terms of the emotional intelligence of students on the material system of two-variable linear equations in class VIII of one of secondary schools of Kalimantan Barat. The method used in this study was an experimental method, with a Quasi-Experimental research form, and the research design was a 2x3 factorial design. The population in this study were all eighth-grade with class samples VIII A and VIII B selected by using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Based on the analysis of variance of two paths with unequal cells it is concluded that: 1) the problem-based learning model provides better mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to classical learning in the material system of two-variable linear equations, 2) Students with high emotional intelligence provide better mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to moderate and low emotional intelligence, 3) In each learning model, the mathematical problem-solving ability of students with high emotional intelligence is better than that of moderate and low emotional intelligence, 4) At each level of students' emotional intelligence, the Problem Based Learning model provides better mathematical problem-solving skills than classical learning. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini secara umum adalah untuk mengetahui manakah yang lebih baik antara model pembelajaran problem-based learning dan pembelajaran klasikal terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis ditinjau dari kecerdasan emosional siswa pada materi sistem persamaan linier dua variable di kelas VIII di salah satu sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) Negeri Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen, dengan bentuk penelitian Quasi Experimental, dan rancangan penelitian adalah desain faktorial 2x3. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP, dengan sampel kelas VIII A dan VIII B yang dipilih secara random menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Berdasarkan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tak sama disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Model pembelajaran problem-based learning memberikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran klasikal dalam materi sistem persamaan linier dua variable, 2) siswa dengan kecerdasan emosional tinggi memberikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kecerdasan emosional sedang dan rendah, 3) pada masing-masing model pembelajaran, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan kecerdasan emosional tinggi lebih baik dari padakecerdasan emosional sedang dan rendah, 4) pada setiap tingkat kecerdasan emosional siswa, model pembelajaran problem-based learning memberikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang lebih baik dari pembelajaran klasikal. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan creative problem solving melalui google meet. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode eksperimen semu (quasi experimental). Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas  X IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan  X IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengukuran sehingga alat pengumpul datanya berupa tes.  Instrumen penelitian berupa soal berbentuk esai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah:  (1) Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Serawai dalam materi trigonometri sebelum diberikan model pembelajaran problem based learning dan creative problem solving melalui google meet sebesar 16.67% .(2) Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 serawai dalam materi trigonometri setelah  diberikan model pembelajaran problem based learning melalui google meet sebesar 80% dan creative problem solving melalui google meet sebesar 70%. (3) Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Serawai dalam materi trigonometri antara model pembelajaran problem based learning dan creative problem solving melalui  google meet  sama baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKEPD menggunakan Geogebra dalam materi garis singgung lingkaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Jangkang dengan mencapai tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Metode penelitian ini menerapkan Research and Development dengan melibatkan 3 ahli validator materi dan 3 validator ahli media. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Jangkang yang berjumlah 17 siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan lembar validasi, angket respon guru, angket respon siswa, wawancara dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKEPD penilaian kevalidan berada pada kriteria 89,37% (Sangat Valid), penilaian kepraktisan berada pada kriteria 90,36% (Sangat Praktis). Selanjutnya keefektifan, dilihat dari hasil uji statistik inferensial menggunakan nilai pre-test dan posttest siswa dengan hasil uji-t yaitu signifikan α = 5% (α = 0,05). Artinya, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dalam penggunaan media. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media LKEPD layak diguanakan sebagai media pembelajaran kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Jangkang pada mata pelajaran garis singgung lingkaran.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine students' mathematical numeracy literacy skills in matrix material in terms of the self-efficacy of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Hilir, totaling 28 students. Of the 28 students, they will be categorized based on each student's abilities. This research began by providing a self-efficacy questionnaire, a test of numeracy literacy skills, and interviews to categorize students' ability levels. After this, it was continued with analyzing and categorizing based on self-efficacy and level of numeracy literacy skills to determine the research subjects who would be interviewed by selecting 9 subjects. The results of the research concluded that students who have high self-efficacy meet 3 indicators, namely using various kinds of numbers and symbols related to basic mathematics to solve problems in various contexts of daily life, analyzing information displayed in various forms (graphs, tables, sections, diagrams, and so on), and interpret the results of the analysis to predict and make decisions. Students who have moderate self-efficacy meet 2 indicators, namely using various kinds of numbers and symbols related to basic mathematics to solve problems in various contexts of daily life, analyzing information displayed in various forms (graphs, tables, sections, diagrams, etc). Students who have low self-efficacy only meet 1 indicator, namely using a wide variety of numbers and symbols related to basic mathematics to solve problems in various contexts of daily life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how students' mathematical problem-solving ability is based on self-confidence in the material of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System. This study uses a qualitative method in the form of case study research. The subjects of this study are 2 students who have low, medium, and high self-confidence. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The data collection techniques in this study use measurement techniques, direct communication techniques, and indirect communication techniques. Data analysis techniques by describing the results of student answers and categorizing the level of student self-confidence. The average results of the self-confidence group were high with mathematical problem-solving skills in questions 1, 3 and 5 with an average of 8.5, problem number 2 with an average of 6.5, number 4 with an average of 7, and an average total score of 39 with an average score of 70.91. The average results of the self-confidence group were moderate with mathematical problem-solving skills in question number 1 with an average of 10, questions number 2 and 3 with an average of 8.5, number 4 with an average of 9, number 5 with an average of 5.5, and an average total score of 41.5 with an average score of 75.45. The average result of the self-confidence group was low with mathematical problem-solving skills in question number 1 with an average of 7, question number 2, question number 3, question number 4, question number 5 with a total score of 27 with a score of 49.09

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman siswa dalam menerjemahkan soal dan ketelitian mengerjakannya sehingga berakibat jawaban siswa tidak maksimal. Melihat permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukanlah instrumen tes untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen three-tier test untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan 4D yang terdiri dari define, design, develop, dan disseminate; dan dimodifikasi menjadi 3D yang dibatasi sampai tahap develop. Adapun subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP di Sungai Raya sebanyak 15 orang. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik pengukuran dan teknik komunikasi tidak langsung, dengan menggunakan instrumen tes, lembar validasi, dan angket. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini instrumen Three-Tier Test berbasis kemampuan representasi matematis untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi siswa pada materi Statistika di kelas VIII siswa SMP di Sungai Raya layak untuk digunakan sebagai instrumen dalam pembelajaran dengan rata-rata kevalidannya adalah 86,21% dan rata-rata kepraktisannya 90,75% dengan kriteria masing-masing sangat valid dan sangat prakris. The lack of understanding of students in translating questions and the accuracy of doing them so that the student's answers are not optimal. Seeing these problems, a test instrument is needed to identify student misconceptions. This study used the Research and Development method intending to develop a three-tier test instrument to find out misconceptions. This study uses a 4D design consisting of defining, designing, developing, disseminating; and modifying into 3D which is limited to the development stage. The subjects of this study were 15 class VIII students at one of the junior high schools in Sungai Raya. The data collection technique uses measurement techniques and indirect communication techniques, using test instruments, validation sheets, and questionnaires. This study concludes that a three-tier test instrument based on mathematical representation ability to find out students' misconceptions about statistics in grade VIII junior high school students in Sungai Raya is feasible to use as an instrument in learning with an average validity of 86.21% and an average practicality of 90 .75% with each criterion being very valid and very practical.
