Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the activities and responses of students through the in-solution posing learning model. This research uses quantitative approach with descriptive method. The population in this study is the students of class VII MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak academic year 2007/2008 who studied the material of comparative value and turned the value. The result of the research shows that students of Grade VII MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak are active in learning with within-solution posing and VII students of MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak give positive response to learning with within-solution posing. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui manakah yang memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih baik, metode penugasan, diskusi atau ceramah. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperimental dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa semester VI program studi pendidikan matematika IKIP PGRI Pontianak. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik stratified cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan nilai Ujian Akhir Semester (UAS) mata kuliah Teori Peluang tahun akademik 2016/2017 sebagai data kemampuan awal dan metode tes untuk data hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan analisis variansi satu jalan dengan sel tak sama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan hasil belajar antara mahasiswa yang diberikan pembelajaran dengan metode penugasan, diskusi maupun ceramah

Abstract

This study aims to produce Morndumath application learning media on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in building materials for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap students who reach the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study uses the ADDIE development design model, which consists of five main stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, and pretest posttest questions. Based on the results of the first study, the validation of the Morndumath application against HOTS was with the average value of the three experts of 85.25% in the very valid criteria with the very good category. The second is the value of practicality, seen from the value of the questionnaire filled out by the teacher and all students who were accumulated so that a percentage of 87.61% was obtained with very practical criteria. Furthermore, the effectiveness, seen from the results of statistical tests using the pretest and posttest scores of students with t-test results, namely – t-count < - t-table significant = 5% (???? = 0.05). This means that there is an increase in the value of student learning outcomes in high-level abilities, so the Morndumath application is categorized as effective.

Abstract

This study aimed mainly at producing Subject Specific Pedagogic (SSP) Statistics based on Character-filled Heuristic Strategies to Improve Students' Qualified Problem-Solving Ability built on the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study at this time was in synergy with the previous research as a new frame of mind that became the concept of development in achieving the main objectives. The present study employed a quantitative descriptive method with logical, analytical, and descriptive reasonings supported with relevant literature data. The instruments used were a test of problem-solving abilities and a questionnaire that was then analyzed descriptively and inferentially with two-way ANOVA formula. The study concluded that the heuristic strategy through the stages of identification, plan, do and check is an alternative solution to learning mathematics with high strengths and potentials in integrating characters into learning scenarios to be able to improve students' problem-solving skills and develop their character containing Subject-Specific Pedagogic.

Abstract

One of the reasons for learners to have poor covariational reasoning is because learners understand covariation to the extent that it is procedural, while conceptually it is not fully understood. The goal to be achieved is to describe the process of student covariational reasoning in constructing graphs. This research uses a qualitative approach. This type of research is qualitative research in which the main data is written and/or spoken words. The subjects in this study were odd semester students consisting of 3, 5, and 7 Mathematics Education Study Programs, Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Technology IKIP-PGRI Pontianak. The research instrument consists of the main instrument, namely the researcher himself and the supporting instrument, namely the task of covariational problems in the form of a written test and interview guidelines. Data analysis by processing and preparing data from the assignment results to interpreting the data and making conclusions. This study examines the process of student covariational reasoning in solving dynamic incident problems. Students initially experience a pseudo error, however, along with the problem-solving process students can eliminate pseudo thinking that was initially experienced. Students have been able to solve covariational problems at Level 5, where these problems require students to be able to coordinate changes in the value of one variable against changes in the value of other variables. The problem at level 5 also requires students to be able to see changes in time and changes in water level that occur continuously by paying attention to the irregular shape of the bottle. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic provides a limit for researchers in collecting data that should have been done directly online. This limits researchers to dig deeper into what students think in depth. The number of students who can solve this problem needs to pay attention to the IKIP PGRI Pontianak Institute to compile a curriculum or learning media that instils the concept of reasoning.

Abstract

Rancangan model pengembangan ADDIE yang memiliki lima tahapan meliputi Analisis, Perancangan (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Implementasi (Implementasi), dan Evaluasi, merupakan metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini (evaluasi). Dua subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mereka yang terlibat dalam pengujian produk dan mereka yang terlibat dalam pengembangan produk. Ada 27 siswa kelas 7 SMP Negeri 10 Sungai Kakap yang mengikuti penelitian ini sebagai subjek tes. Lembar validasi, soal ujian, dan angket respon pengajar dan siswa merupakan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk membuat sumber belajar e-comic menggunakan konten berbasis Quadrangular. Validitas e-comic mencapai hasil 85,05 persen dengan kriteria valid, dan media e-comic memperoleh hasil 85,92 persen dengan kriteria valid, menurut temuan penelitian. Dengan standar sangat praktis, tingkat e-practicality komik ini mencapai 96,11 persen. Selain itu, kemanjuran e-comic diukur oleh 16 dari 27 siswa yang selesai menerima hasil yang memenuhi persyaratan yang berhasil.

Abstract

AbstrakHambatan guru dalam menyampaikan materi adalah kurangnya penggunaan benda-benda konkrit dalam setiap pembelajaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) rancangan dan implementasi alat peraga papan positif negatif berbasis metode montessori pada siswa dengan ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder); dan (2) sejauh mana kelayakan alat peraga papan positif negatif berbasis metode montessori ini dalam membantu siswa dengan ADHD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menurut Borg & Gall. Subjek dalam penelitian dan pengembangan alat peraga ini adalah siswa-siswi pada salah satu SLB yang terdapat di Kota Pontianak tahun ajaran 2020-2021 dan guru mata pelajaran matematika. Data penelitian diperoleh berdasarkan penilaian oleh pakar/ahli terhadap alat peraga. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) rancangan dan implementasi alat peraga papan positif negatif berbasis metode montessori pada siswa dengan ADHD memenuhi kriteria valid sebagai media pembelajaran berupa alat peraga dengan kategori sangat valid; (2) alat peraga papan positif negatif berbasis metode montessori layak sebagai media pembelajaran dalam membantu siswa dengan ADHD. Hasil penelitian digunakan sebagai sumbangan pemikiran bagi guru maupun calon guru pendidikan matematika untuk selalu melakukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran siswa sekolah umum maupun SLB. Development of Montessori Method-Based Positive Negative Board Props for Students with ADHDAbstractThe teacher's obstacle in delivering the material is the lack of using concrete objects in every lesson. The research aims to look at: (1) the design and implementation of positive-negative board props based on the Montessori method in students with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder); and (2) the appropriateness of this Montessori method based positive board props in helping students with ADHD. This research is development research according to Borg & Gall. The subjects in the research and development of this teaching aid are students at one of the special schools in Pontianak City for the 2020-2021 academic year and teachers of mathematics. Research data based on the results by experts/experts on teaching aids. The results of the study were: (1) The design and implementation of positive board props based on the Montessori method for students with ADHD met the valid criteria as learning media in the form of teaching aids with very valid categories; (2) the positive board props based on the negative Montessori method are feasible as a learning medium in helping students with ADHD. The results of the research are used as a contribution of thought for teachers or prospective mathematics education teachers to always innovate in mathematics learning to achieve the learning objectives of students in public schools and special schools.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru dalam memilih dan menggunakan metode pembelajaran matematika secara online yang inovatif dan menyenangkan sehingga memudahkan siswa dalam belajar matematika. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya Kalimantan Barat dengan peserta berjumlah 22 orang dan pelaksana PKM adalah dosen prodi Pendidikan matematika IKIP PGRI Pontianak yang berjumlah 5 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan dengan mengadopsi langkah-langkah action research yaitu: perencanaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi, dan refleksi. Hasil PKM dapat disimpulkan yaitu meningkatnya pengembangan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran secara online, sehingga memudahkan dan menyenangkan siswa dalam belajar yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa melalui pembelajaran sesudah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan e-modul logika matematika berbasis phet simulation. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 siswa kelas XI SMK Koperasi Pontianak dengan teknik cluster random sampling dimana sebelum diambil sampel dilakukan terlebih dahulu uji homogenitas dan dimana variansi dari populasi homogen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan e-modul logika matematika berbasis phet simulation pada kelas XI SMK Koperasi Pontianak dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dimana diperoleh persentase ketuntasan belajar sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pembelajaran tersebut sebesar 41% dan 59%.

Abstract

[English]: Students’ misconceptions in addition and subtraction of integers need to be addressed since this topic is a prerequisite for students to learn advanced mathematics topics such as algebra. Having misconceptions in understanding the prerequisite concepts will hamper the acquisition and integration of new knowledge. The purpose of this study was to develop refutation text to resolve the misconception of students in addition and subtraction of integers. Refutation text was developed in the form of student worksheet adopting the development model from Borg and Gall (1983). Tryout of refutation text involved fifteen seventh-grade students. The study found that (1) The experts’ validation reveals that refutation text is suitable to be used as learning media for students on addition and subtraction of integers; (2) The refutation text implemented in the tryout was useful to resolve students’ misconception in addition and subtraction of integers; and (3) The practitioner’s assessment and students’ response showed that refutation text is practical. Drawing from the findings, we argue that the developed refutation text help students correcting their misconceptions in the topics and could be used by the teachers in the classroom practices. However, the refutation text needs to be extended to anticipate students’ mistake in interpreting word problems by providing some possible mistakes and its correction. Keywords: Misconceptions, Refutation text, Integers [Bahasa]: Miskonsepsi siswa dalam penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat perlu diatasi karena materi ini merupakan prasyarat bagi siswa untuk mempelajari materi matematika lanjutan seperti aljabar. Kesalahan dalam memahami konsep prasyarat akan menghambat penerimaan dan integrasi pengetahuan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran refutation text untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa dalam penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat. Refutation text yang dikembangkan berbentuk Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dengan merujuk pada model pengembangan Borg dan Gall (1983). Uji coba refutation text dilakukan pada 15 orang siswa SMP kelas VII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil penilaian ahli menunjukkan refutation text layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran bagi guru dalam mengajarkan penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat; (2) refutation text yang diterapkan di kelas uji coba efektif dalam mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa dalam penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat; dan (3) hasil penilaian praktisi dan respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa refutation text praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa. Dalam hal ini, refutation text yang dikembangkan membantu siswa memperbaiki kesalahan konsep pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat dan bisa digunakan oleh guru di kelas. Namun, refutation text tersebut perlu dikembangkan untuk mengantisipasi kesalahan siswa dalam menafsirkan soal cerita dengan menyediakan beberapa kemungkinan kesalahan interpretasi dan perbaikan.
