Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems found in group A children at SPS PAUD Melati 1 Gunungbatu, Ciracap District regarding social skills. The alternative problem solving carried out in this research is to use the role playing method. The aim of this research is firstly, to find out how teachers implement the role playing method in improving the social skills of group A early childhood children at SPS PAUD Melati 1 Gunungbatu, Ciracap District, Academic Year 2022/2023. secondly, to find out the results of the teacher's application of the role-playing method to the social skills of group A early childhood children at SPS PAUD Melati 1 Gunungbatu, Ciracap District, Academic Year 2022/2023. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research (PTK) with descriptive-qualitative data analysis techniques. The research results show that there is an increase in children's social skills starting from the pre-cycle, action planning, namely cycle I to cycle II. The expected results were finally achieved in cycle II, namely that there were 80% of children with the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) criteria, 20% were starting to develop and there were no longer any students with the Not Yet Developing (BB) criteria.

Abstract

One of the most important factors that can improve the character of children's discipline is to perform behavior contract techniques on children. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of teachers in building disciplinary character through behavior contract techniques. The data of this study are all ECCE teachers who have applied behavior contract techniques, with a sample of 100 people. The method used in this study is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The method of data collection in this study is the distribution of questionnaires in the form of questions to respondents. Simple linear regression analysis was used as an analysis method in this study. The results explained that the character of discipline had a significant effect on behavior contract techniques, and the effect was 65.2% while 34.8% was influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas kemampuan berpikir simbolik pada anak usia dini. Perkembangan simbolik adalah perkembangan yang penting dikembangkan sejak dini, karena dengan berkembangnya simbolik pada anak maka akan membantu mereka dalam tahapan perkembangan selanjutnya, sehingga perkembangan simbolik ini perlu dikembangkan secara efektif dan efisien. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh peneliti untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik adalah dengan penerapan media pembelajaran cerita gambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (Quasi-ED). Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu penyebaran kuesioner berupa pertanyaan kepada responden, observasi,dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan uji statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan skor berpikir simbolik anak setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media cerita bergambar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari total keseluruhan sampel sebanyak 20, dimana hasil belajar pada saat pretest adalah di bawah 55 untuk sebagian besar siswa, sedangkan hasil belajar siswa pada saat posttest di atas 55 untuk sebagian besar siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa pada saat posttest lebih tinggi dibanding hasil belajar siswa pada saat pretest untuk semua siswa. Sehingga media cerita bergambar terbukti efektif dalam mendukung perkembangan berpikir simbolik pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Keterampilan interpersonal merupakan kompetensi kunci yang menentukan keberhasilan sebuah organisasi dalam mengelola keragaman anggota dan meminimalisasi konflik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan pengelolaan konflik antar anggota koperasi wanita di Kabupaten Sukabumi melalui penerapan pelatihan interpersonal skills yang berbasis praktik. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan oleh tim pengabdian program studi Ilmu Administrasi Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi bermitra dengan Koperasi Wanita Kabupaten Sukabumi. Metode pelatihan melibatkan 230 anggota dari 22 koperasi wanita yang dipilih menggunakan simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test, observasi, refleksi individu, wawancara, dan post-test, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan software AMOS. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 21%. Analisis SEM membuktikan bahwa interpersonal skills berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kemampuan kolaborasi dan pengelolaan konflik. Pelatihan ini efektif meningkatkan kemampuan mendengarkan aktif, komunikasi efektif, empati, dan strategi pengelolaan konflik konstruktif. Kesimpulan: Disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan interpersonal skills berbasis praktik terbukti signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan pengelolaan konflik anggota koperasi wanita, sehingga direkomendasikan untuk diperluas ke wilayah lain.

Abstract

This journal is motivated by the rise of electronic devices in children's daily lives which has changed their lives. As they raise their children in the digital age, parents should focus on helping them develop positive self-perception and response skills so they can make good use of digital gadgets. Knowing how the PGRI Winaya Mekar Kindergarten in Cikangkung Village, Ciracap District responds to the impact of digital technology on early childhood education is the aim of this research. Case study research is the method of choice in this qualitative investigation. Triangulation, a combinational data collection method, emphasizes meaning rather than generalization in analysis. Meanwhile, the Miles & Huberman interactive model is used for data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study include (1) the application of a democratic and permissive parenting style by parents in raising children in the modern digital era. One approach to raising children is known as “permissive parenting”, which advocates letting children know who they are. Democratic parenting style: This approach to raising children usually gives parents greater freedom, but this approach also sets ground rules based on references that have been agreed upon by parents and children. The first negative impact of parenting patterns that are too permissive on children's development in the modern digital era is that many children are very independent, have difficulty adjusting to their peers, and are often disobedient. Second, one of the advantages of democratic parenting is that it encourages children to speak up and share ideas. When parents set limits based on their children's abilities, it helps them express themselves and develop creativity, innovation and a sense of responsibility.
