Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak usia dini melalui media papan angka dan mengetahui penggunaan media papan angka meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak di KB Kartini Ganting. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap pertemuan dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok bermain di KB Kartini Ganting dengan jumlah 10 anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan melalui media papan angka. Dilihat dari hasil ketuntasan belajar anak pada pra siklus 37,5%, siklus I dengan nilai presentase 56,66%, dan siklus II dengan nilai presentase 84,99%.

Abstract

Penanaman kedisiplinan pada anak usia dini merupakan aspek penting dalam membentuk karakter dan perilaku sosial-emosional yang positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi efektivitas pendekatan keteladanan dan reinforcement dalam membentuk kedisiplinan pada anak usia 3-4 tahun di lingkungan PAUD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan subjek penelitian berupa pendidik dan anak didik di KB Permata Sunnah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi keteladanan pendidik, komunikasi yang efektif, dan reinforcement positif maupun negatif secara signifikan meningkatkan kedisiplinan anak. Anak-anak yang diberikan contoh perilaku disiplin oleh pendidik serta mendapatkan reinforcement atas perilaku baik mereka menunjukkan peningkatan tanggung jawab, kepatuhan terhadap tata tertib, dan kemandirian. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kombinasi strategi keteladanan, komunikasi, dan reinforcement merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam membentuk karakter disiplin anak usia dini. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mengarah pada pentingnya penerapan strategi integratif dalam sistem pembelajaran di PAUD untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan karakter disiplin pada anak-anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan media dadu putar dalam proses pembelajaran dan mengukur efektivitasnya dalam membantu anak mengenali huruf. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan wawasan berharga tentang cara meningkatkan keterampilan literasi awal anak melalui metode interaktif yang sesuai dengan perkembangan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek siswa kelas A KB Nurul Muta'allimin, terdiri dari 9 siswa (7 perempuan dan 2 laki-laki). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Data kualitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, sementara data kuantitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebelum tindakan, guru mengalami kesulitan dalam mengajarkan pengenalan huruf. Setelah menggunakan media dadu putar, terjadi peningkatan pengenalan huruf, dari 68,89% di siklus I menjadi 87,22% di siklus II. Pembelajaran dengan media ini dinilai berhasil karena anak menjadi lebih aktif dan terlibat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan konsentrasi belajar pada anak usia dini melalui penggunaan media maze magnet. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan pada anak kelompok A di KB Permata Sunnah Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media maze magnet secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan konsentrasi anak. Melalui tiga siklus, terjadi peningkatan persentase keberhasilan dari 28% menjadi 81%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media maze magnet efektif dalam meningkatkan fokus dan perhatian anak selama proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Background: Early childhood learners often exhibit low concentration levels, requiring engaging and developmentally appropriate learning media. Specific Background: At TK Islam Al-Irsyad, only 35% of children demonstrated adequate concentration during routine classroom activities. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies explored maze games but rarely implemented multi-themed magnetic maze media integrated into a smart-box system. Aim: This study aims to strengthen concentration skills of children aged 4–5 years through magnetic maze educational games. Methods: A Classroom Action Research design using Kemmis and McTaggart’s model was conducted in two cycles, involving 15 children. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Results: Improvements were observed across four indicators: problem solving, focus, memory retention, and hand–eye coordination. Concentration completeness increased from 35% (pre-cycle) to 62% (Cycle I) and 90% (Cycle II). Novelty: The study introduces four themed magnetic maze activities integrated into a smart-box, supported by preparatory ice-breaking tasks to activate children’s readiness. Implications: Magnetic maze games offer an interactive approach that enhances cognitive engagement and can be adopted as an effective concentration-building medium in early childhood settings. Abstract

Confidence in children aged 4-5 years should ideally be able to take part in learning without being awaited by their parents, be able to express opinions or wishes, be able to answer teacher questions, be able to carry out good activities related to themselves such as wearing their own shoes, as well as activities related to school, such as being able to write on your own, color on your own, cut and stick on your own. Children who have self-confidence can explore their abilities or potential, because they believe and have confidence in their abilities. Early childhood is a child aged 0-6 years who has development and growth that is more rapid and fundamental in the early years of life. This study aims to increase the self-confidence of children aged 4-5 years at Dharma Wanita Unity Kindergarten, Sidoarjo through role playing by starting with pre-cycle activities, then cycle 1 is carried out by obtaining a percentage of 62%, because the percentage does not meet the completeness criteria, it is carried out cycle II and obtained a percentage of 82% and met the targeted completeness criteria.

Abstract

Early childhood education is an effort to provide a place for children from birth to six years, through developmental stimulation so that they are balanced between physical and spiritual. This is to have thorough preparation to pursue further education. Discipline is an attitude or behavior that is embedded in a person's personality in obeying applicable regulations by paying attention to norms, behaving in accordance with existing rules and regulations. Token economy is one of the techniques of behavior modification, designed to increase preferred behavior or reduce disliked behavior by using tokens in the form of coins or other forms of tokens. This study aims to determine the increase in discipline in children aged 5-6 years using the token economy method. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in the study were taken from children aged 5-6 years totaling 14 children consisting of 7 boys and 7 girls. The research instrument uses observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results of the study, there has been a significant increase in each cycle. Pre-cycle by 32%, cycle I 57% and cycle II 80%. The results of the study indicate that the token economy method can improve the discipline of children aged 5-6 years at ABA Gondanglegi Sutojayan Kindergarten.

Abstract

Enhancing Problem-Solving Skills through the Student Facilitator and Explaining Model: An Exploratory Study. Objectives: This study investigates the potential of the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) model to improve undergraduate students’ problem-solving skills during microteaching practice. Methods: A quantitative, single-group pretest-posttest design was employed, involving 21 students enrolled in the Microteaching course of the Early Childhood Education (PG PAUD) program. The instrument consisted of six dimensions: persistence, divergent thinking, convergent thinking, motivation, environment, and general knowledge and skills, measured using a five-point Likert scale. Pretest and posttest data were analyzed using paired sample t tests to determine statistical significance. Findings: Results showed significant improvements across all dimensions of problem-solving skills. The most substantial gains were observed in divergent thinking (Mdiff = 18.57, t = 13.54, p < 0.001), general knowledge and skills (Mdiff = 18.05, t = 13.90, p < 0.001), and motivation (Mdiff = 17.81, t = 14.12, p < 0.001). All dimensions demonstrated statistically significant enhancement (p < 0.001), indicating that the SFE model effectively fosters students’ cognitive flexibility, persistence, and self-motivation in addressing instructional problems. Conclusion: The SFE model enhances students’ problem-solving abilities by promoting active engagement, collaborative reasoning, and reflective learning within Microteaching courses. These findings highlight the potential of student-centered instructional models to develop both cognitive and professional competencies in teacher education. Future research using control groups and larger samples is recommended to strengthen the validity and generalizability of these results. Keywords: problem-solving skills, SFE model, microteaching, pedagogical strategy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ability of group A children in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Candi in recognizing the symbol of numbers. Based on a preliminary study in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Temple found that 70.59% of 17 Kindergarten A children were still wrong in recognizing good symbols when asked to say by sorting number cards, dancing lines according to the number of drawings, counting many marbles and pasting numbers right. These problems are caused by the introduction of non-matching number symbols, and non-concrete learning media (using worksheets). The solution provided is the introduction of the number symbol by playing snakes and ladders with steps to recognize the symbol number. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) that uses Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subject of the action was the children of group A "Kindergarten Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Candi, totaling 17 children, each with 13 boys and 4 girls. In this study using three stages, namely pre cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The results of this study that have been carried out to improve the ability to recognize child group A symbols in Aisyiyah Busthanul Athfal 6 Kindergarten Temple show that the ability to recognize child number symbols from pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II has increased. In the pre-cycle completeness the overall value of group A was 29.41%, the first cycle completeness the overall value of group A was 52.94%, and in the second cycle the completeness value of group A was 82.35%. This proves that there is an increase in the ability to recognize child number symbols after a study using a snake ladder game in learning material.
