Abstract

Increasing demand for land is driving up the rate of agricultural land conversion. This may threaten the availability of paddy fields and thus food availability and security. This research aims to map the distribution of paddy fields to be planned as Sustainable Food Agricultural Land in Sengah Temila District, Landak Regency. In this research, the survey method was used with the population being all paddy field land use in Sengah Temila Sub-district with a total sample size of 100 land samples. The results showed that the total area of existing paddy fields in Sengah Temila Sub-district in 2024 based on Landak District Paddy Field was 5,040.69 ha. Through the agricultural information obtained using ground check technique and then processed using map overlay technique to obtain LP2B plan map, the existing paddy field area in Sengah Temila sub-district is 5,225.10 ha. The overlay results show that the land that can be planned as sustainable food agriculture land in Sengah Temila sub-district is 5,069.22 ha spread over each village. The LP2B plan in Sengah Temila Sub-district in this study is expected to be able to reduce the conversion rate of rice fields in order to achieve food security and sovereignty.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan sektor penting yang mampu meningkatkan perekonomian nasional maupun daerah, termasuk di Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Salah satu destinasi wisata buatan yang memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan adalah Wisata Saung Nila yang terletak di Dusun Gunung Ambawang, Desa Sungai Deras. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi eksisting pariwisata Saung Nila berdasarkan aspek atraksi, amenitas, dan aksesibilitas (3A). Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan dukungan dari data sekunder dari lembaga yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Saung Nila memiliki beragam atraksi seperti kolam renang dengan sumber mata air alami, kolam ikan nila, spot foto, karaoke, serta pemandangan alam yang asri. Dari segi amenitas, fasilitas umum seperti parkir, mushola, warung, dan saung sudah tersedia meskipun masih diperlukan tambahan, terutama toilet dan akomodasi. Sementara itu, aksesibilitas menjadi kendala utama, terutama kondisi jalan yang rusak saat musim hujan serta kurangnya papan penunjuk arah yang jelas. Dengan pengelolaan yang baik, penambahan fasilitas, perbaikan akses jalan, serta dukungan dari pengelola, pemerintah daerah, dan pemerintah desa, Wisata Saung Nila berpotensi berkembang menjadi destinasi unggulan yang dapat menarik wisatawan dan meningkatkan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Waterfront City Taman Teras Parit Nanas is a tourism destination located along the banks of the Landak River. It was developed as part of an urban planning initiative and creative economic development strategy, focusing on the revitalization of riverbanks and surrounding residential areas. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the 3A tourism concept, which includes attractions, accessibility, and amenities. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through direct observation at the site, interviews with both managers and visitors, literature review of relevant regulations and legislation that support the development of the waterfront city, and GPS-based documentation to map elements related to the 3A tourism components. The findings reveal several critical issues, particularly in the suboptimal management of available facilities. Addressing these challenges requires effective collaboration among visitors, site managers, and the local community to enhance and realize the full tourism potential of Taman Teras Parit Nanas.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan media pembelajaran Wordwall terhadap hasil pembelajaran geografi kelas X di SMAN 9 Pontianak. Peneliti menerapkan pendekatan eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian yang bersifat kuantitatif. Data penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok dengan total 72 siswa, yaitu kelas X-C (kelompok perlakuan) dan X-A (kelompok kontrol). Hasil dari penilaian digunakan data hasil belajar kognitif. Hasil penelitian pada kelas X-C (eksperimen) sebagian besar peserta didik telah mendapatkan hasil belajar diatas KKTP yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata post-test mencapai 80,11 dengan mencapai presentease ketuntasan 60%. Hasil penelitian pada kelas X-A (kontrol) masih banyak nilai di bawah KKTP, nilai akhir post-test diperoleh 75,65 dengan mencapai presentase ketuntasan 42,86%. Hasil pengujian normalitas untuk kelompok eksperimen (0,071) dan kelompok kontrol (0,159) menunjukkan bahwa data tersebut terdistribusi secara normal. Lalu pada Uji homogenitas dengan hasil sig 0,1110,05 memiliki varians kedua kelas homogen. Hasil pengujian t pada penelitian ini menampilkan t-hitung lebih besar daripada t-tabel, yaitu 2. 394 lebih besar dari 2000, sehingga hipotesis alternatif diterima. Penghitungan effect size menghasilkan angka 0,6 yang tergolong dalam kategori sedang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini kemudian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Wordwall berdampak positif terhadap hasil pembelajaran geografi pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 9 Pontianak.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out about the Analysis of Giving Rewards and Punishments to Motivate Learning in Class X Geography at Taman Mulia High School. The type of research used is descriptive research with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The instruments used are observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation guidelines. The results of this study are 1) Giving rewards can motivate learning in class X geography learning at Taman Mulia High School, 2) Giving punishment can motivate learning in class X learning geography at Taman Mulia High School, 3) Giving reward and punishment together can motivating learning in geography class X at Taman Mulia High School

Abstract

The background in this study discusses student interest in learning geography during the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine how happy feelings, student interest, student attention, and student involvement in learning geography online. The research method used is qualitative research. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya by interviewing seven students in class XI Social Sciences based on the recommendations given by the teacher and geography teacher for class XI Social Sciences at SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. The study results indicate that students are diligent in attending and have feelings of pleasure in participating in online geography learning activities. Students are less interested in studying geography outside class hours because they only learn when there are assignments or tests. Students sometimes have problems understanding the material given by the teacher, but students want to try to understand the material provided by the teacher. The involvement of students in learning, including less due to the absence of discussion between teachers and students. This study concludes that students still are interested in learning geography online, but the overall indicators are not good. Because there is a lack of student involvement in online geography learning, most students feel obstacles in understanding the material given by the teacher.

Abstract

ujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kebutuhan guru serta peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak terkait pengembangan media pembelajaran virtual reality (VR) dengan memanfaatkan platform MilleaLab untuk mata pelajaran geografi. Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya efektivitas pembelajaran geografi akibat penggunaan media yang masih bersifat konvensional seperti buku dan persentasi PowerPoint yang dinilai kurang interaktif dan kurang mampu memvisualisasikan konsep-konsep spasial secara menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif yang merupakan tahapan awal dari model pengembangan ADDIE, dengan fokus pada tahap Analyze (analisis kebutuhan). Subjek penelitian terdiri satu guru geografi dan 32 peserta didik kelas X. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui angket skala guttman menggunakan Google From serta studi literatur. Hasil Analisis kebutuhan yang melibatkan guru mengungkapkan adanya kendala dalam penyampaian materi Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan fasilitas dan media ajar. Hasil analisis kebutuhan peserta didik menunjukkan kesulitan belajar SIG (54% karena kurang visualisasi) dan penilaian terhadap media yang kurang menarik (81,3%). Dukungan positif dari kedua belah pihak terhadap pengembangan media virtual reality (VR) menjadi landasan karena media tersebut berpotensi meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, motivasi, dan partisipasi aktif peserta didik. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media pembelajaran virtual reality (VR) berbasis MilleaLab merupakan solusi potensial untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak.

Abstract

The article aimed to analyze the limited face-to-face learning strategy during the Covid-19 pandemic at Islamic Private Junior High Schools Pontianak. With the limited implementation of face-to-face learning, schools were required to design learning strategies that in accordance with the conditions of learning implementation during the Covid-19 pandemic. As has been applied at this school from the results of this study, both in the school environment, teaching and learning activities and the availability of various health protocol facilities as a strategy for implementing face-to-face learning during the pandemic. The research used descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques incuded observation, interviews and documentation. The limitations of face-to-face learning at Islamic Private Junior High Schools Pontianak were the number of years of study at school, the lack of interaction and the implementation of assessments which had better transformation. Meanwhile, Islamic Private Junior High Schools Pontianak had merely once a week for learning implementation, so schools must maximize learning strategies. Abstract

The ineffective learning process makes students feel bored so that learning outcomes are low. This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by animated videos on the Hydrosphere material implemented in class X IIS Madrasah Aliyah Khulafaur Rasyidin. This study was conducted with a quantitative approach and utilized a quasi-experimental design as its research design. Research data were collected through pretests and post-tests in the form of multiple choices given to the control class X IIS A (male) and the experimental class X IIS B (female). The results showed that the average post-test score of the experimental class was 82.08, while the control class was 75.92. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, the t-count value was 2.40 which was greater than the t-table value at a significance level of 0.05. Thus, H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. This means that there is a difference in learning outcomes between students who learn using the PjBL model assisted by animated videos and students who learn using expository learning on the hydrosphere material in class X IIS Madrasah Aliyah Khulafaur Rasyidin. The implication is that the PjBL model assisted by animated videos can be recommended as an alternative learning strategy to improve student learning outcomes.
