Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa dengan teknik akrostik pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 010 Laboy Jaya Kecamatan Bangkinang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Class Action Reaserch) yang terdiri dari dua siklus yang dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak dua kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas IV SD Negeri 010 Laboy Jaya Kabupaten Kampar sebanyak 15 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus pertama yang tuntas secara individual dari 15 siswa sebanyak 12 siswa atau 80% yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) atau berada pada kategori Baik. Secara klasikal tergolong cukup karena nilai rata-rata diperoleh sebesar 69,3. Sedangkan pada siklus II dimana dari 15 siswa terdapat 14 siswa atau 93% telah memenuhi KKM dan secara klasikal tergolong baik yaitu nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 82,6%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan menulis puisi siswa pada siswa kelas IV SDN 010 Laboy Jaya Kecamatan Bangkinang Kabupaten Kampar melalui penerapan teknik akrostik mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model assisted by question card media on the critical thinking ability of elementary school students. The research was conducted at UPT SDM 002 Penyasawan involving 36 fifth-grade students divided into two classes. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design and a quantitative approach. The instruments used to measure students' critical thinking skills were essay tests and observation sheets. Quantitative data analysis was processed using SPSS version 25. The results showed that students taught using the VCT learning model assisted by question cards had higher critical thinking skills compared to those taught using conventional methods. Based on the independent sample t-test, the significance value obtained was 0.000 < 0.05, with the experimental class scoring an average of 84.67, while the control class scored 76.22. This indicates that the VCT learning model assisted by question cards is more effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills. Thus, this model can be an alternative solution in Pancasila Education learning to develop students’ critical thinking at the elementary level.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low understanding of the concept of multiplication in mathematics learning of grade III students. This study aims to improve the ability to understand the concept of socialization of class III students of SDN 003 Bangkinang. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The subjects in this study were all class III students totaling 26 students. Data collection techniques were in the form of observation, documentation and tests. While the data analysis technique used was a combination of quantitative data and qualitative data. Based on the results of cycle 1, there were 11 students who completed the study with a percentage of 42.30% with an overall average of 67.88 and at the second meeting it increased to 14 students with a percentage of 53.84% with an overall average of 72.19. While in cycle II, meeting I, there were 19 students who completed the study with a percentage of 73.07% with an overall average of 77.42 and there was an increase at the second meeting to 24 students with a percentage of 92.30% with an overall average of 87.80. Based on the results of this study, it shows that by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning learning, (CTL) can improve the understanding of mathematical multiplication concepts of grade III students at SDN 003 Bangkinang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low problem-solving ability of fifth-grade students, especially in mathematics learning. This research aims to improve the problem-solving ability of class V-A students at UPT SDN 001 Air Tiris. The low problem-solving ability can be improved by using the STAD model based on gamification. This research is a classroom action research, conducted in two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The subjects in this study were 20 students and the observers were the class V-A teacher and peers, while the object was using the STAD model based on gamification to improve students' problem-solving ability. The research instruments consisted of observation sheets of teacher and student activities, test sheets, and documentation sheets. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results of the research conducted through two cycles, in cycle I meeting I the students' problem-solving ability was in the very poor category 45%, and meeting II was in the very poor category 55%. Whereas in cycle II meeting I the students' problem-solving ability was in the poor category 65% and in meeting II in the very good category 90%. Based on these results, it shows that using the STAD model based on gamification can improve the problem-solving ability of class V-A students at UPT SDN 001 Air Tiris.

Abstract

The low gross motor skills of children in group A of Permata Bunda Kindergarten as reason for this research, while one of the solutions offered by researchers was the apply of throwing and catching balls activities. The type of research applied was classroom action research with 2 cycles and 2 meetings in each cycle. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques and documentation techniques. The results of the research was that the gross motor skills of group A children in Kindergarten Permata Bunda, Banjar Panjang Village, Kerumutan District, Pelalawan Regency could be improved through throwing and catching balls. The increase that occurs can be seen from the research stage, namely observations made during pre-action, implementation of cycle I and cycle II actions. Judging from the results of the pre-action with ball throwing activities, the value for the BB criteria is the number of children 14 with a percentage of 70%, the BM criteria the number of children is 4 with a percentage of 20%, in the BSH criteria the number of children is 2 the percentage is 10% and in the BSB criteria the number of children is 0 percentage 0 %. In the first cycle of throwing activities, the criteria for BB number of children is 1 percentage 5%, BM number of children is 3 percentage 15%, BSH number of children is 15 percentage 75% and BSB number of children is 1 percentage 5%. In the activity of catching the BB criteria the number of children is 0 percentage 0%, BM the number of children is 4 percentage 20%, BSH the number of children is 12 the percentage is 60% and BSB the number of children is 4 percentage 20% In cycle II the following data were obtained on Throwing activities with BB criteria number of children 0 percentage 0%, BM number of children 1 percentage 5%, BSH number of children 3 percentage 15%. BSB number of children 16 percentage 80%. In the activity of catching the criteria for BB the number of children is 0 percentage 0%, BM the number of children is 1 percentage 5%, BSH the number of children is 4 the percentage is 20% and BSB the number of children is 15 the percentage is 75%. From the data above, the implementation of actions in cycle I to cycle II shows that the acquisition of children has increased, namely in throwing activities, throwing activities from 1 or 5% to 16 or 80%, while catching activities the number of children is 4 or 20% to 15 or 75%. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics subjects in class IV SDN 013 Ganting, Salo District, Kampar Regency. One solution to overcome this problem is to use the RME approach. The aim of this research is to describe the improvement in mathematics learning outcomes on multiples and number factors using the RME approach for fourth grade students at SDN 013 Ganting. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection and research time carried out from March to August 2017. The research subjects were 11 class IV students, with 6 male students and 6 female students. totaling 5 people. Collection techniques include documentation, observation and tests. The results of this research can be concluded that the student learning outcomes for class IV fractions at SDN 013 Ganting in cycle I were classified as good with an average of 77.27. Furthermore, of the 11 students who completed it, only 8 students completed it, while classical learning completion was 72.73%. In cycle II it was very good with an average of 84.09 and 11 students, there were 9 students who completed it while classical learning completeness was 81.82%. Thus, it can be concluded that using the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach can improve mathematics learning outcomes in multiples and number factors for class IV SDN 013 Ganting. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low fine motor skills of Group B children at TK Teduh Mandiri in Makteduh Village. One solution to address this issue is to implement pipette folding activities. This study aims to improve fine motor skills in Group B at TK Teduh Mandiri in Makteduh Village. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, with two meetings in each cycle. Data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The results of this research show an improvement in children's scores from the pre-action phase, Cycle I, to Cycle II, which can be described as follows: In the pre-action phase, 7 children or 63.64% had low scores (BB), then in Cycle 1, this decreased to 3 children or 27.27%, and in Cycle II, it became 0 children or 0%. The moderate score (MB) in the pre-action phase was 2 children or 18.18%, then in Cycle 1, it became 2 children or 18.18%, and in Cycle II, it became 0 children or 0%. The high score (BSH) in the pre-action phase was 1 child or 9.09%, then in Cycle 1, it became 3 children or 27.27%, and it remained at 3 children or 27.27% in Cycle II. The very high score (BSB) in the pre-action phase was 1 child or 9.09%, then in Cycle 1, it became 3 children or 27.27%, and in the end, in Cycle II, it increased to 8 children or 72.73%. Based on the above research results, the researcher recommends that teachers consider implementing pipette folding activities as an alternative method to enhance children's fine motor skills. Abstract

This research aims to assess the effectiveness of the number train play method in enhancing counting skills in group A children. Counting skills are fundamental cognitive abilities essential in a child's developmental process. This study involved 12 children aged 4-5 years who were enrolled in a local kindergarten's group A.The research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. Participants were divided into two groups: the experimental group, receiving instruction through the number train play method, and the control group, receiving conventional instruction. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments measuring the children's counting abilities.The research results show that the group receiving instruction through the number train play method experienced a significant improvement in their counting skills, while the control group exhibited a lower level of improvement. Data analysis using a t-test revealed a significant difference between the two groups at a significance level of 0.05.This research concludes that the number train play method is effective in enhancing counting skills in group A children. The implications of this study are that play-based methods can be a valuable choice for early childhood counting instruction, offering a more enjoyable and interactive learning experience. It is expected that this research can contribute to the development of more effective teaching methods for early childhood education. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low fine motor skills of children in group B of Al-Anshor Kindergarten, Pangkalan Tampoi Village, Kerumutan District, Pelalawan Regency. The solution to this problem is the application of the Mosaic method. This research aims to find out whether the Mosaic method can improve fine motor skills in children at Al-Anshor Kindergarten. To improve the fine motor skills of children in group B of the Al-Anshor Kindergarten in Pangkalan Tampoi Village, the Mosaic method will be applied. The subjects in this research consisted of 15 children, 9 girls and 6 boys. The method used in this research was Classroom Action Research (PTK). This classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle there were 2 meetings, each meeting consisted of the following activities: Planning, Acting, Observation and Reflection. The data collection technique was carried out using observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in children's fine motor skills in each child's indicators starting from Pre-action with an average value of 27% in cycle I, the child's BB value for 1 child was 6.66%. cycle II to 0 children 0%, cycle I MB value 3 children 20%, cycle II to 0 children 0%, cycle I BSH value 7 children 46%, cycle II to 1 child 6.66%, cycle I BSB value 4 children 26.66%, cycle II to 14 children 93.33%. With the increase in children's fine motor skills reaching 90% in the very well developed category, it can be said that the Mosaic method can improve the fine motor skills of children in group B of Al-An Shor Kindergarten, Pangkalan Tampoi Village. Abstract

This study aims to improve fine motor skills of early childhood through pattern cutting activities in group B children at Tunas Harapan Kindergarten. The research method used was classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. The research subjects were 14 children in group B TK Tunas Harapan. The object of his research is pattern cutting activities and fine motor skills of early childhood. The data analysis used is percentage. The data taken is in the form of end-of-cycle test results and direct work results. The results showed that the fine motor skills of early childhood through cutting patterns developed very well in each indicator. The results can be seen in the action cycle II. Where the indicator for children being able to hold scissors correctly gets a score of 85,71%, the indicator for children being able to cut according to a pattern gets a score of 92.86%, the neat cutting indicator gets a score of 78.57%. as well as the indicator of children being able to cut out imitating the shape of a picture gets a value of 92.86%.
