Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan digital storytelling yang diterapkan pada peserta didik kelas XI dalam pembelajaran cerpen. Deskripsi tersebut mencakup validasi, kepraktisan, serta keberhasilan penggunaan digital storytelling dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan pemahaman peserta didik pada materi cerpen lewat digital storytelling. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis R&D (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation), yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Robert Maribe Branch (2009). Produk yang dihasilkan adalah video digital storytelling dan modul ajar pendukung yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 96%, validasi ahli media 81,6% dan validasi ahli kurikulum 95% dengan tingkat validitasnya yaitu sangat valid. Hasil kepraktisan oleh ahli praktisi sebesar 80% dengan tingkat validitas yaitu valid dan tingkat kepraktisan dari peserta didik sebesar 92% yang artinya sangat valid. Digital storytelling dinyatakan berhasil dikembangkan dengan baik setelah evaluasi submasif terlaksana. Hasil evaluasi submasif tersebut berupa penugasan peserta didik. Hasil perolehan nilai akhir penugasan peserta didik tersebut memuaskan dengan nilai A dan B.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis konflik batin mendekat-menjauh (approach-avoidance conflict) dalam novel Dilan: Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990 karya Pidi Baiq dengan menggunakan teori Kurt Lewin. Fokus penelitian ini adalah konflik batin yang dialami tokoh utama, Milea dan Dilan yang saling berhubungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Data diperoleh melalui teknik baca dan catat, kemudian dianalis secara mendalam dengan teori Kurt Lewin. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Milea mengalami berbagai konflik batin yang berkaitan dengan perasaannya terhadap Dilan. Di satu sisi, ia merasa tertarik dan memiliki ketertarikan emosional terhadap Dilan. Di sisi lain, ia merasa cemas dan takut karena status Dilan yang merupakan ketua geng motor tentunya penuh dengan risiko. Selain itu, Milea juga menghadapi dilema hubungannya dengan Beni, keputusan untuk mencari Dilan di tengah situasi yang berbahaya, serta keinginan untuk mengetahui hubungan Dilan dengan Susi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah konflik mendekat-menjauh dalam novel ini tidak hanya menggambarkan kebimbangan tokoh utama, tetapi juga menjadi cerminan emosi seseorang dalam mengambil sebuah keputusan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel berdasarkan aspek superego menurut teori Sigmund Freud. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi pustaka dengan metode membaca dan mencatat. Objek penelitian ini adalah novel Sherlock Holmes—Lembah Ketakutan karya Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, yang diterbitkan oleh Gramedia Pustaka Utama pada tahun 2019. Novel ini bercerita tentang petualangan seorang detekif jenius yang bernama Sherlock Holmes dalam memecahkan berbagai kasus yang misterius. Hasil penelitian ini adalah aspek superego dalam diri Sherlock Holmes terlihat dari cara berpikirnya yang selalu mengedepankan moral, etika, dan keadilan. Ia tidak bertindak sembarangan atau mengikuti keinginan pribadi, tetapi mempertimbangkan baik dan buruknya suatu tindakan. Selain itu, ia mengutamakan kebenaran, menepati janji, berpikir logis, dan bertindak hati-hati agar tidak merugikan orang lain. Dengan demikian, Holmes tidak hanya cerdas tetapi juga memiliki integritas dalam setiap tindakannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dinamika kata-kata sapaan bahasa Melayu Jambi yang mencakup konteks dan situasi pemakaiannya, jenis dan variannya, struktur bentuk morfologisnya, pola umum pemakaiannya, kekhasan dan keunikannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Sumber datanya adalah masyarakat penutur bahasa Melayu Jambi di Ujung Pasir, Kerinci; Pulau Aro, Sarolangun; Tanjung Agung, Muara Bungo; Selat, Muaro Jambi; Parit Culum, Muara Sabak, dan Jambi Seberang, Kota Jambi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiolinguistik, data diperoleh dengan teknik wawancara terbuka, catat, dan rekam dan dianalisis dengan metode padan referensial dan metode introspeksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 84 pilihan kata sapaan yang digunakan dalam konteks keluarga yang terbagi atas: 5 varian untuk generasi orang tua dari kakek/nenek [+3]; 15 untuk generasi orang tua dari ayah/ibu [+2]; 24 varian untuk generasi ayah/ibu [+1]; 29 varian untuk generasi saudara/ego [0]; 6 varian untuk generasi anak [-1]; 3 varian untuk generasi cucu [-2]; dan 1 varian untuk generasi cicit [-3]. Berdasarkan penjenisannya, ditemukan jenis dan varian kata sapaan istilah kekerabatan 37 varian; julukan 14 varian; nama diri 7 varian; pronomina persona kedua 10 varian; dan nama profesi/jabatan 9 varian. Secara morfologis ada kata sapaan yang bentuk singkat, bentuk utuh, dan bentuk gabung.  Fungsi penggunaannya ada yang baik vokatif maupun deiktis dan ada yang hanya deiktis saja. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa semua varian kata sapaan yang bersumber dari kekerabatan digunakan juga secara metafor untuk menyapa atau memanggil kawan bicara yang bukan anggota kearabat. Khusus varian pronomina persona “kayo” dan “kamu” dapat digunakan kepada semua orang dalam semua konteks dan situasi bicara sebagai wujud hormat.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of the STAD type cooperative learning model to improve students' learning abilities in learning drama texts in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. The main strength of the STAD type cooperative learning model lies in students' learning skills in studying the characteristics of linguistic elements and rules in drama texts. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. The research sample was class VIII D students, totaling 30 students. The research method used is a quantitative method and a type of pre-experimental research design. Data collection was carried out by observing and testing students' abilities in studying the characteristics of linguistic elements and rules in drama texts. Data analysis using SPSS 21. The research results obtained were student grades which were influenced by the use of the STAD type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. The results of data analysis show that the average post-test score is higher than the average pre-test score. The pre-test results showed that the highest score was 14 while the lowest score was 8. After being given treatment, it showed an improvement with the highest score being 19 and the lowest being 14. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the t-test. From the calculation of the t-test results on pre-test and post-test data, it shows an increase. It is known that the Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.005, it can be concluded that there is a real difference between student learning outcomes in pre-test and post-test data. Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This proves that the STAD type cooperative learning model is effectively used to improve students' learning abilities. From the research results, teachers are expected to increase the procurement of learning models and media. With this, teachers are more creative and innovative in learning activities. The learning process also makes students not feel bored and fed up, which can increase their motivation to learn.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the discovery learning model on the ability to write lecture texts in class XI at SMKS Pelita Raya, Jambi City. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The data obtained in this research are the results of observations, interviews, and documentation regarding the implementation of the discovery learning model on the ability to write lecture texts in class XI Accounting 1 at SMKS Pelita Raya, Jambi City. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of implementing the discovery learning model on writing skills, teachers and students have implemented the discovery learning model. The teacher has implemented the discovery learning model in accordance with the steps of the discovery learning model, starting from the stages of designing lesson plans, implementing them, and evaluating them. Meanwhile, students become active and able to write a lecture text by paying attention to the structure and linguistic aspects.

Abstract

This study describes the value of character education contained in the book folklore from Jambi , “Cerita Rakyat dari Jambi” and describes its relevance to learning Indonesian in junior high school. This research is in the form of a qualitative descriptive. The data of this research are the values of character education in folklore and the data source is the book Folklore with stories 1) Asal Usul Raja Negeri Jambi, 2) Asal Mula Nama Sungai Batanghari, 3) Dongeng Hantu Pirau, 4) Legenda Bujang Jambi, 5) Datuk  Darah Putih, 6) Dongeng Si Kelingking, 7) Depati Sebelas, 8) Putri Tangguk. Data collection techniques using literature study. The results of this study indicate that. There are 16 character education including religious, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, nationality, loving the homeland, respect achievement, love of  peace, care of environment, social care, and responsibility. The relevance is that it is appropriate to use Indonesian language learning in Basic Competence (KD) 3.15 to identify information about local fables/legends that are read and heard. There is a match between the existing stories and the Basic Competencies used in the 2013 curriculum for class VII Junior High School in instilling character education values.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of Wordwall in learning procedural texts for class VII-4 of SMP Negeri 3 Bayung Lencir. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 3 Bayung Lencir, the subject of this research was the Indonesian language teacher Class VII-4 SMP Negeri 3 Bayung Lencir. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive. The data obtained from this research is in the form of observations of teachers in using Wordwall as a learning medium. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The collection technique in this research uses several methods, consisting of observation, tests and interviews. The aspects assessed in this research are the results of the Indonesian language teacher, namely Mrs. Anggi Susilawati, S.Pd., when implementing learning using Wordwall and the results of the students' work. The results of this research show that the use of Wordwall as a learning medium for class VII-4 narrative text material at SMP Negeri 3 Bayung Lencir is implemented smoothly in accordance with the teaching module. This can be seen from the learning process, starting from the teacher carrying out preliminary activities, then at the core stage the teacher explains, asks questions and determines the results of student work that will be created, the teacher helps students determine the theme, and determines the schedule for collecting student work results, then in the closing activity The teacher concludes the learning that has been carried out.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal and strengthen the meaning of symbolic figures of speech in the poetry anthology Nipah Panjang by Rini Febriani Hauri. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data comes from 48 poems in the Nipah Panjang poetry anthology. Data collection techniques use library research and notes. The researcher recorded and marked every word and sentence that contained symbolic figure of speech meaning and then classified it in the data identification table. The results of the research show that the researcher found symbolic meaning from quotes or lines of poetry in the Nipah Panjang poetry anthology and then revealed the meaning of each word from the poetry quote to the meaning of the words. The meaning of the lines of poetry teaches that life is only temporary, death is forever, so always obey the creator. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for reviewing literary works, especially poetry, especially poetry with themes of life, environmental criticism and religion, and can be used as teaching material to review what and how meanings are contained in poetry literary works.

Abstract

The problem with this study is the value of what education is found in the murky river village village of tebo district. The purpose of this study is to describe the educational values found in the murky river village village of tebo district. This type of study is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach and is analyzed using the herbal method. The source of this research data is a transcript of the traditional wedding ceremony of the murky river village of tebo district, and the murky rivervillage custom wedding procession between Yuda Anggara bin hamidi and Widia Hepliyani binti Rozali on July 2, 2023, which was then transplanted into script form. The results in this study describe the values of education found in the murdy river village cultures of tebo district, the values of education in which there is (1) the value of the education of faith and education in the almighty god, the value of the education of the almighty god, the value of the natural and inherent belief in god, the value of the supreme deity, (2) the value of the noble moral education includes the virtues of patience, righteousness, and justice, Affection, provident, courageous, ashamed, maintaining chastity, and keeping promises, (3) the value of scientific education includes the value of knowledge and intelligence, (4) the value of democratic education includes the value of human beings having a change in the direction of healthy thought, respect for the dignity of our fellowmen, willingness to serve for common interests or welfare, (5) the value of responsible education includes the value of being accountable to one god, responsibility to oneself, responsibility to the family. It is hoped that studies on the value of education can be continued and that researchers can further examine the values of education found in literature other than taphstrokes, poetry and so on, that research references on educational values will be more available and easier to find.
