Abstract

Santri often feel bored, depressed, bored, and burdened until it finally affects the emotions and happiness of students. Subjective well-being is a scientific term that scientists use to describe happiness. In order to realize subjective well-being, there are factors that must be considered. This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on the subjective well-being of female students in the tahfidz dormitory of the Mukhtar Syafa'at Islamic Boarding School Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi. This research approach uses a quantitative approach, while this type of research uses descriptive research. The research sample used purposive sampling method, the sample was taken only from female students of the Tahfidz dormitory. The results showed that there was a significant influence between emotional intelligence on subjective well-being of female students in the Tahfidz boarding school Mukhtar Syafa'at Islamic Boarding School Blokagung Tegalsari Banyuwangi with the effective contribution given by emotional intelligence to subjective well-being of 32.4%, while the rest were 67.6% influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to find out the intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation in the students of the Mukhtar Syafa'at Islamic Boarding School in choosing to continue their education at IAI Darussalam. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach, while the type of research uses descriptive research. The technique of determining the location uses a purposive area technique, while the technique of determining the research subject uses a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the students who chose to continue their education at IAI Darussalam because they had intrinsic motivation in the form of a desire to develop themselves in continuing higher education. Meanwhile, extrinsic motivation is in the form of encouragement from the closest people, the need for a sense of security from the interference of the outside world, and because they can still stay at the pesantren to continue their early education at the pesantren.

Abstract

Ditching behavior is a form of juvenile delinquency that reflects student violations in school rules and regulations that will harm themselves and others, such as missing subject matter. The purpose of this study was to determine the forms, factors that encourage students to play truant as well as to determine the methods of guidance and counseling used by BK teachers based on the factors encountered. As understood, the impact of truancy behavior is failure in learning, failure in learning. The research method used in this research is qualitative. The subjects in this study were students of MTs Mukhtar Syafa'at Blokagung Banyuwangi. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews to obtain information about forms, factors, and methods of guidance and counseling, observations to obtain other information that supported the data obtained and documentation to obtain data including descriptions of schools and student development. The causes of truancy behavior are problems that come from self, family, school, and environmental factors with truant behavior, namely sleeping in the dormitory, hanging out in the shop, truant in certain subjects because they don't like the teacher and chatting when they meet their friends.

Abstract

Career guidance is a part of the need to foster the work ethic of Islamic students at the Mukhtar Syafa'at Blokagung Banyuwangi Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation and supporting factors and inhibitors of career guidance in fostering the work ethic of students at the Mukhtar Syafa'at Blokagung Banyuwangi Job Training Center. The research method uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model consisting of data reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation) and drawing conclusions/verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that career guidance in fostering the work ethic of Islamic students is carried out in the form of work practices and worship. One of the strategies provided by career guidance is to involve students in the work training body, as well as preparing production facilities and infrastructure. The existence of the work training agency is able to foster a work ethic in students, so that students know that Islamic work ethic is a belief of a Muslim, that work is related to the purpose of his life, namely trying to obtain Allah's pleasure through work or good deeds
