Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations and interviews with teachers, the limitations of the teacher in recognizing and analyzing factors that can influence student achievement and student achievement. Based on these conditions, this study aims to use the Naive Bayes algorithm to classify the performance of students from the Department of Computer and Network Engineering at Vocational High School 3 Malang, and to assess the accuracy of Naive Bayes algorithm at the Classification of student performance in the Department of Computer and Network Engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Malang. Research developed based on preliminary research is the classification of performance of students from the Department of Computer and Network Engineering at the vocational school 3 Malang, which is divided into three categories, Very Good, Good and Enough. The student data used in this study are from SMK Negeri 3 Malang students. The data obtained was 63 student attributes used in this study and 10 and 1 attribute for output from the classification. The results of the accuracy test of the training data test using the Naive Bayes classification with differences in the training data showed the results of a fixed accuracy of 70%. For tests with differences in test data, an accuracy of 80% and 70% is displayed with an average accuracy of 75%. On a system that is also applied, the naive bayes classification gets 90% accuracy because all records are used for the training data.

Abstract

Pedagogic competence main requirement is to be possessed a teachers. On the study education information technology, the faculty computer science brawijaya university obliged to take lecture practices experience (PPL) any college student with have qualified, requirements to reduce lulusannya became a staff having competence pedagogic. In the registration process PPL needed time until six days to be registered in the implementation of the PPL. Day This study attempts to develop information systems which was able to help in the registration process for the ppl related parties that students can use a PPL the registration. This study attempts to develop information systems can help in the registration process ppls for the associated the students can do the PPL use the registration. Information systems that will have to be made 7 functional needs systems and 1 needs non-fungsional system 1. methods development information systems used which is the prototype evolutionary. And then design system. Then the next done system systems to through the testing of using black box testing virtue of testing in each case the show results 100% valid system. And then done testing the simulation time analysis before the registration process the ppl done manually takes time 6 day on the basis of the process business, as-is if the registration process the ppl use systems takes time rata-rata 27 47 minutes seconds, show in terms of time more eficien and can help to every college student when the PPL registration.

Abstract

This research describes the perceptions between students, teachers and the Business World / Industrial World in determining the success of field work practice programs (PKL) for SMK PGRI 3 Malang students. The analysis is known from the placement factors and determinants of the success of street vendors in SMK PGRI 3 Malang. The results of the analysis are then submitted as input for further PKL activities. This research was carried out in Malang PGRI 3 Vocational High School of Software Engineering (RPL), Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ), and Multimedia (MM) expertise. The respondents of this study were 110 students, 9 PKL supervisors, and 5 companies (DU / DI). This research uses descriptive quantitative methods, data collection using questionnaires, and interviews. The research resulted in placement factors and determinants of the PKL success of SMK PGRI 3 Malang students as a whole include: academics included in the neutral category. Student readiness, student residence, benefits of street vendors, street vendors constraints, facilities, students' perceptions of teacher competence, and student performance are included in the high category.

Abstract

The study was conducted based on observations over a period of one month of the condition of teaching and learning activities in SMK Negeri 3 Malang. During observation, the point of view of the problem is seen from the behavior of students. Problems that emerge are from the motivation and habits of students that are not good. Students always use powerpoint as their only learning resource. On the other hand, teaching books such as modules and e-books have been provided but are not utilized by students. The way out is to make modifications to the Powerpoint program into interactive media. Interactive means there is an interaction between powerpoint and students. The study was conducted by two class experimental methods, namely the control class and the experimental class. The instrument was a questionnaire and a pretest-posttest question. The instrument was analyzed using Pearson correlation test to determine the effect produced. The correlation test results stated that powerpoint interactive media had a positive effect on learning motivation by 44.22% while the other 55.78% were influenced by other factors. In the study habits there are 77.44% influence, another 22.56% influenced by other factors. In the learning outcomes of students there are 81.18% influence while the other 18.82% is influenced by other factors. So the authors suggest for educators to make more use of interactive powerpoint media in order to improve motivation and good study habits

Abstract

The library which is located at SMK Negeri 11 Malang based on the observation results is still manual in providing services to library visitors who borrow books by writing a note book. Therefore a study entitled "Development of Web-Based Library Information Systems Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Method (Study at: SMK Negeri 11 Malang)". The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is a method used by researchers to build a web-based library information system. Understanding Rapid Application Development (RAD) according to (Pressman, 2001) is a model of the development cycle emphasized briefly in the development of additional software, although the development process is short, does not reduce the quality of the product. The results of the development of library information systems can facilitate the admin in managing library data at any time and make it easier for users to borrow books in the library with the results of black box testing as much as 100% valid. And the results of the user acceptance test or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) conducted on 5 examiners consisting of the chairman of the library, library staff, 1 teacher, 1 staff and 1 student have the results of 84% of users agree that the School Library Information System (SIPS) Malang has fulfilled the needs of users in borrowing books in the library of SMK 11 Malang.

Abstract

Field experience Practice (PPL) is a course that must be pursued by students of S1 information Technology Education (PTI) Universitas Brawijaya. Based on the results of the interview with PTI's head of study program, there are several obstacles related to PPL registration process. The problem in the current PPL registration process is judged not to be sufficiently efficient and effective during implementation. This raises the loss on various parties involved, one of which is a student, a teacher of PPL and academic Prodi PTI. Based on the problems that exist today, built a design information System education management practice field experience (SIPPL) based website. In the process of designing the system used SDLC with Rational Unified Process (RUP) model. The design process was conducted using the OOAD approach and UML design modeling. The design results that have been built will be evaluated using Consistency Analysis, Traceability Matrix, and System Requirement Checklist. The result of the Consistency Analysis evaluation shows the assessment results with a percentage of 100% which means proving that the design was built and all elements of the needs of the four frameworks have been consistent. The result of traceability matrix also shows that all the needs of the business process until the end of the design can be traced to the need and can be concluded that all needs are identified. While the evaluation of the System Requirement Checklist proves that the design results that have been built have been validated all their needs by the five users and the needs are declared valid.

Abstract

In 2017, five e-commerce sites in Indonesia with the highest number of unique visitors experienced an average growth of 97 percent. With this significant growth, new e-commerce companies must use various methods in order to compete in this industry. However, there are e-commerce that use unfavorable methods, for example using the "fake discount" tactics, where the discount given looks fantastic, but the discount is given after the original price of the item is raised first. Users are not aware of this because they do not remember the price before the change, and there is no display of the product price history. Based on these problems, the Web Application for Price Tracking of E-Commerce Website can be developed which can be used by e-commerce users to track prices, by entering product links into the application, then the application get the product prices with scraping techniques and then the results are saved in a database as the price history for that product. This application development uses the waterfall model development method, and the results of the implementation are tested by validation testing, performance testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The validation test obtained a value of 100% valid, performance testing shows the application has good performance, and majority of the respondents on UAT testing give a positive score without any negative, so it can be concluded that the Web Application for Price Tracking of E-Commerce Website can be a solution to e-commerce's prices and discounts problem.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 2 Malang is a high school that was founded in 1988. The school focuses on Appearance, Achievement and Service. In improving services there are several problems that occur. These problems include the management of goods that are still recorded in books, irregular storage of documents and omissions in writing. These problems can hamper the performance of services provided to the school community. Based on these problems it is necessary to explore the need of stakeholder to produce a solution. The solution provided is in the form of an artifact, which is an information system that can solve problems. Making artifacts using the SDLC approach with the Waterfall model which is implemented in the form of a website. The requirements analysis stage obtained 29 system requirements and 1 non-functional system requirements. The design phase uses OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) obtained by 8 class controllers and 10 class models. The implementation phase uses MVC as a system architecture and yii2 as a framework. And testing the system using validation testing to users for the overall function of the system and obtained 100% valid results. Compatibility testing results in 9% of problems with various web browsers. Testing user acceptance of the system using User Acceptance Testing obtained 100% value that the user accepts the system that has been developed. This research resulted in an inventory of information systems inventory management artifacts of facilities and infrastructure that have functional requirements according to user needs and have been tested to users.

Abstract

Sentosa is a Small and Medium Enterprise that runs its business as one of paint distributor in Bandung. In running its business, the enterprise has implemented some business rules that cause some problems, which includes no mechanism available for Sales to take over order taking, invalidated order is still being passed and payments being mixed up From the stated problems, a system is developed as a solution for the problems using the development method of Personal Extreme Programming. Requirement Analysis being done resulted in 41 functional requirements and 2 non-functional requirements. Planning results in 42 tasks with total estimated work time of 116 hours. There are in total 3 iterations in this development. Design results in the creation of 3 use case diagrams, 37 use case scenarios, 17 analysis classes, 14 sequence diagrams, 12 class diagrams and 3 physical data model. Validation testing is done in all iterations, which generated 75 test case, which results in success in all test case. In the final iteration, two types of UAT has been done, UAT for Web System and UAT for Mobile System. UAT for Web System is conducted with 4 respondents with final result of 3.858 (Neutral). UAT for Mobile System is conducted with 3 respondents with final result of 3.444 (Partially Disagree). In the whole iteration, it is noted that real work time clocked in 170 hours and 59 minutes, in which difference in estimated time is due to revision that occurred while designing and obstructions occurred when implementing.

Abstract

Junior High School 1 Blitar one of many favourite school at Blitar city, that every year always have increased registrant student. It is known that the process of accepting new students that has been running so far requires a lot of resources in its implementation. Then at each stage of the process, the selection and processing of new student data that is not yet fully computerized, causes it to be less efficient. Likewise the problem on the part of the participants, they complained about the queuing system at the time of registration and the data verification process of the participants which took time. From the various problems above, it can be concluded that there is a need to develop an information system that is expected to be able to help the parties involved in the process of accepting new students of SMAN 1 Blitar. In developing an information system, the basic concept of Software Development Cycle (SDLC) is applied. By selecting the waterfall method, the first phase is a needs analysis which produces 13 system features from 23 functional types & 1 non functional as an illustration of the capabilities of the system created. Modeling the results of the analysis using Unfield Modeling Language (UML) modeling such as use case, activitiy, sequence and class diagrams. After the implementation process, the information system test results using the black-box validation method are declared valid. Followed by UAT results that 92.4% of the system can be received from the stakeholder side with a total of 24 answers "agree" on the completed questionnaire.
