Abstract

In the process of learning activities in class in general students need an evaluation to measure the extent of academic development. In fact, evaluating learning activities is not only needed by students but also parents. The problem faced by parents is to have their own activities. Parents are not easy to monitor student learning outcomes in real-time and online. The purpose of this study makes it easy for parents to monitor student learning outcomes at school by using Android-based mobile apps. For the development model of the student monitoring application, that is the waterfall. With the requirements specification stage, system design analysis, implementation and testing. The results of developing a student monitoring application have two teacher users and parents. It has an login, reset password, change password, add score, delete score, check comments, check score, leave comments and logout. For testing using 2 methods, black box and user acceptance testing. Black box testing aims at whether all functionalities that have been created when the requirements specification stage is valid or invalid. After testing the black box by running each function, it can be concluded that all functionalities are valid and can be run well. For user acceptance testing, 5 respondents were asked to get direct feedback. This test aims at whether the student monitoring application can be accepted by users to facilitate monitoring student learning outcomes. After testing user acceptance testing, 5 respondents answered 100% YES and the application is acceptable.

Abstract

Based on the results of the observation process, the basic programming teacher uses the e-module of the c++ programming tutorial published in 2009. It can be said that the e-module is not suitable for Class X Multimedia students who currently use the revised 2013 curriculum. At the time of teaching and learning activities also obtained the results of the observation process students seemed less interested in using the teacher's e-module as evidenced by the students who did not pay attention when the teacher delivered the material in the e-module. Research on the development of e-module of basic programming learning for students of class X Multimedia Vocational High School 4 Malang focuses on developing design and content to fit the applicable curriculum and attract students' learning interest. This research uses the Research and Development/R&D method. In this method there are 10 stages that must be done including analysis of potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, product revisions, product trials, product revisions, and mass products. Based on the results of the study, the e-module obtained an average score of 3,58 (Very Good) when validated by material experts, 3,14 (Good) when validated by media experts, 3,55 (Very Good) when assessed by small groups, and 3,26 ( Very good) when assessed by large groups. From these results it can be said that the e-module of basic programming learning developed is suitable for use in teaching and learning activities accompanied by practice class.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process that takes place centered on the teacher's explanation, there is no student companion in learning and student learning outcomes from assignments are not good enough. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Basic Programming subjects by using Problem Based Learning aided by Student Worksheets. This study uses a Quasi Experiment method with a Non Equivalent Control Group Design that uses two classes as a control and an experiment. This study uses the subject of class X students of the Department of Multimedia SMK 4 Malang. Class X MM A is the superior class and X MM B is the lowest class. This study uses data collection techniques with test instruments in the form of Pre-Test and Post-Test questions in the form of 5 descriptive questions. This study uses data processing techniques with the Wilcoxon Test and the Mann-Whitney Test. This study results in an increase in learning outcomes with learning that applies Problem Based Learning with or not with the help of Student Worksheets because it gets a smaller number than the significant level used by 0.05, and learning outcomes on students' knowledge and skills are both the same at students with learning who apply Problem Based Learning with or not with the help of Student Worksheets because they get a number greater than the significant level used by 0.05.

Abstract

How easy access to learning media in a smartphone will make students often accessing the available media to increase students learning interest and learning results. "Pemrograman Dasar Portabel" is an Android learning media that is developed for improving learning interest and learning result at SMK Negeri 5 Malang. This media is developed with waterfall method because of clear needs. This media is made using Adobe After Effect for the learning materials and Android Studio for the application. The result from the research shows that the learning interest of students after using the media shows the value of 83,2 that shows a high category, in detail, there are seventeen students or 68% have very high learning interest, seven students or 28% have high learning interest and one student or 4% have low learning interest. Students learning results in the pre-test have a mean value of 45,6 and the post-test has a result of 73,6. Based on the Wilcoxon test result, a found value of 0,000 which means the improvement of the learning result after using media is improved significantly.

Abstract

YP Screenprinting is one of the small and medium businesses (SMB) in Bojonegoro Regency which is engaged in convection. Most of the orders placed in the form of t-shirts are from inside and outside the city. The process of recording orders at Yp Screenprinting is still done manually and expenses for purchasing raw materials are not recorded. So that it causes problems such as difficulty in finding data orders or expenses and business owners can not know how much profit or loss is experienced with certainty. Based on these problems a solution is made in the form of a web-based information system to help simplify the process of managing orders and expenses. Making information systems is done using the system development life cycle (SDLC) in the form of the Waterfall method. In the requirements definition stage it produces 22 functional requirements. The software design stage uses the object oriented analysis design (OOAD) approach and the results are described using a unified modeling language (UML) which produces 3 controller classes and 4 model classes. At the implementation stage using the model view controller (MVC) as the system architecture. Finally in the system testing stage, the results are 100% valid in validation testing and 88.75% results in user acceptance testing. Based on the test results it can be said that the information system that has been made is well received by the user

Abstract

Study program accreditation is done every five years. In the accreditation process, there are several parameters used for accreditation assessment, including student achievement, one of which is seen from the aspect of achievement. At the Faculty of Computer Science, student achievement data is stored by the Student Affairs Section. Whereas student academic data is stored by the Academic Section. In recapitulating achievement and academic data, the study program at the Faculty of Computer Science obtains data from two different sources, they are the Student Affairs Section and Academic Section. To simplify the process of recapitulating data from the two sources, a data warehouse is needed so that data from different sources can be accessed at the same time. In building a data warehouse, the design phase that has been done refers to the Nine Step Methodology. From the design and implementation phase, it produced 6 dimension tables with 3 fact tables, they are the fact table Achievement, Graduates and Active Students. Then, a validation test is performed which results in a valid status in all test cases, and then the ETL performance testing in terms of time is done with the average time required for the execution of the ETL process is ± 11 seconds with a total amount of 32,746 data.

Abstract

Adira Finance is one of the companies that runs in financing sector. Before providing financing to consumer, it is required to complete a series of processes to screen prospective consumer who are eligible for financing. However, an integral automated process is not available so far that is needed to improve the efficiency of the processing of financing approvals. One of them is determining the eligibility of a prospective consumer to be given financing by considering his tendency to make late payments. In this study, the tendency of a prospective consumer to make late payments is predicted using the random forest method by using financing history data and payment transactions for used motorcycles from the year 2017 to 2019. Stages to predict late pay tendencies begin with a series of data preprocessing processes, training data using a random forest algorithm to produce the most fit model, then the model is tested to obtain predictive results and the level of precision using a confusion matrix. Accuracy measurement on the prediction results get an average score of 88%. The output of this research is a prediction system that displays dashboard page, uploading new data, and prediction results. For testing user acceptance of the system, User Acceptance Testing is used and results an average of 87,5% which means that the user accepts the system that has been developed.

Abstract

Badan Kepegawaian Negara is a government agency that has the task of carrying out governmental tasks in the field of state staff management. Badan Kepegawaian Negara accommodates students who want to do an internship. There were several obstacles in organizing internship activities, namely the internship registration that requires the internship candidate to come to the office of Badan Kepegawaian Negara, the recapitulation of the internship students that were separated, and monitoring the daily activities of the internship students that were difficult. The problems existed in the internship activities could hamper the administrative processes of internship students, so this research aimed to build an internship information system that could help the administrative processes. The internship information system development used waterfall approach. In this research, the problem related to administration processes of the internship students can be made easier by adding, eliminating, or changing the current business process (as-is) to a proposed business process (to-be) to produce features in the internship information system that was built with the laravel framework. The internship information system that has been build was then tested using the user acceptance test approach to measure the level of user acceptance of the internship information system features, the flow of activity on the internship information system, and the interface of the internship information system. The results of the user acceptance test showed the number 92,39% which showed the user accepted the information system and the features inside the system.

Abstract

SSB Sumbersari FC is an informal school that focuses on teaching soccer for young students. SSB has several problems that can hinder daily operational activities. The problem is that the SSB often loses registration files and has not been able to realize the desire to make a report card. Based on these problems, the need to explore the need to produce a solution. The solution provided is the creation of a football academic information system. This development uses the waterfall development model. In this development model several stages will be carried out. The needs analysis phase produces 21 functional needs and 2 non-functional needs. The design phase produces a class diagram from the server and client side. The server diagram class has 14 model classes and 15 controllers, while the client diagram class has 31 classes. The implementation phase uses the vuejs and vuetifyjs framework for the client, while for the server uses the sailsjs framework with a MySQL database. In the implementation phase it produces 21 pages or interface and 61 service endpoints. The last stage is testing using blackbox testing and SUS. Blackbox testing uses the equivalence partitioning method which results in 100% of system requirements in accordance with SSB Sumbersari FC user requests. SUS testing is done to determine the level of ease of the system based on the user, where this test produces a value of 75.9375. This value means that the academic information system developed has been in accordance with user requests, is quite preferred, but still needs to be improved again.

Abstract

Industrial Internship (hereinafter referred to as "PRAKERIN") is a program in which students experience hands-on industrial works. PRAKERIN need daily monitoring, which cant be fulfilled by SMK Negeri 2 Malang, resulting students being sent back to the school due to the lateness of problem solving. A user-friendly PRAKERIN monitorial application is needed. Researcher applies the Extreme Programming Method, a development method in which the plannings, designings, implementations and trials are repeated, making it possible to conduct modifications. This research consists of two iterations and involving four actor that is Admin, Teacher, Preceptor, and Student. In the first iteration, Black-Box Testing showed that application has 23 valid functionals with validity rate on 100%. At the same time, Usability type User Acceptance Test showed that application has usability rate on 87,50%. In the second iteration, it is known that additional functionals are proven valid with validity rate on 100%. At the same time on the Usability aspect showed that application has usability rate on 88,46%. Analysis result in both iteration showed that the application has been successfully developed, with validity rate on 100%. Because the functional which manage problem and attendance is proven valid, it can be said that problem monitory activity in PRAKERIN is successfully made easy. At the same time, analysis result on Usability aspect both iteration showed that the application has usability rate on 88,46%, meanings that it is very easy to use.
