Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 brings great impact to the learning process in higher education by introducing advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and big data. This transformation allows universities to implement more flexible, interactive and efficient learning methods. In addition, the use of these technologies enables curriculum personalisation according to the needs and abilities of individual students, which supports more effective and holistic learning. However, with the deepening integration of technology, there is a challenge for universities to ensure students have the necessary digital literacy, analytical ability, critical thinking and creative skills. Therefore, it is important to adjust the curriculum and develop soft skills so that university graduates are ready to adapt to the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

Sexual education in schools is a critical necessity to ensure students' reproductive wellbeing and health. The implementation of sexual education faces various challenges, including social and cultural stigma, lack of training for educators, and limited policy support. However, the importance of this topic drives the need for comprehensive strategies, such as inclusive curriculum development, intensive training for teachers, parental involvement, and policy support from the government. These strategies aim to overcome these barriers and increase the effectiveness of sexual education in schools, positively impacting the younger generation.

Abstract

This study discusses the struggle and progress of Islam from the time of the Prophet Muhammad to the period of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, which was a crucial phase in the history of Islam. This study analyses various aspects of Islamic development, including the laying of religious foundations, the formation of early Islamic society, and the expansion of territory, using a literature review. The main focus is on the efforts of the Prophet in uniting the Arab tribes and building a socio-political system based on Islamic values, as well as the success of the Rightly Guided Caliphs in expanding the territory of Islam. This study also highlights significant developments in the aspects of government, science, and the application of Islamic values such as justice, deliberation, and tolerance. The results of the study show that this period became a strong foundation for the development of Islamic civilisation in the following period, with a continuing impact to this day.

Abstract

Pembelajaran fiqh di Madrasah Aliyah memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk pemahaman siswa terhadap hukum-hukum Islam. Namun, tantangan seperti rendahnya minat siswa, metode pengajaran yang monoton, dan terbatasnya media pembelajaran sering kali menghambat kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran fiqh di Madrasah Aliyah Ishlahul Amanah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di Madrasah Aliyah Islahul Amanah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru melakukan berbagai upaya, seperti penerapan metode pembelajaran aktif, penggunaan media berbasis teknologi, pelatihan profesional, dan pendekatan kontekstual berbasis kehidupan sehari-hari. Upaya ini meningkatkan motivasi siswa, pemahaman materi, dan keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan pelatihan guru dan pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif untuk mendukung kualitas pembelajaran fiqh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis; (1) Untuk mengetahui tentang keberagaman agama masyarakat suku Baduy, (2) Untuk mengetahui bentuk kerukunan dan toleransi masyarakat suku Baduy, (3) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kerukunan, kebebasan dan konflik agama pada Suku Baduy. Lokasi penelitian ini di masyarakat Baduy Desa Kanekes, Kecamatan Leuwidamar, Kabupaten Lebak, Provinsi Banten. Mereka mendiami wilayah Gunung Kendeng yang luasnya 5.101,85 hektar. Masyarakat Baduy dikenal dengan 3 kelompok sosial meliputi Baduy Tangtu (dalam), Baduy Panamping, Baduy Dangka dan Baduy Pajaroan (luar), Baduy memeluk agama Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa suku Baduy merupakan suku yang memegang teguh adat kepu'unan dan memiliki kepercayaan Sunda Wiwitan. Akan tetapi ada sebagian dari mereka yang merasa tidak kuat untuk mengikuti adat dan meninggalkan tanah Baduyyulayat, sehingga suku Baduy menjadi beraneka ragam. Keberagaman masyarakat Baduy tersebut terdiri dari: TangtuBaduy (dalam), PanampingBaduy, Dangka dan Pajaroan (luar) serta Baduy yang pindah agama/Islam. Wujud kerukunan suku Baduy dapat dilihat dari ketaatan mereka dalam menjunjung tinggi adat kepu'unan diantaranya; upacara serang nyacar, upacara serang nuaran, upacara serang ngaduruk, upacara serang ngaseuk, upacara serang ngored, buat serang, upacara kawalu, upacara ngalaksa dan upacara sebaBaduy. Sedangkan toleransi suku Baduy dapat dilihat dari (a) Saling menghargai keyakinan masing-masing, (b) Jika seorang muslim atau suku Baduy yang masuk Islam sedang berpuasa, maka suku Baduy yang lain tidak makan sembarangan atau tidak makan di luar. (c) Ketika merayakan hari raya Idul Fitri mereka (Baduy dalam maupun Baduy luar) akan datang bersilaturahmi dengan makanan.

Abstract

With the advancement of technology, of course there will be huge challenges that Islamic education will face. where the digital era can accompany various changes in various aspects of life, including changes in the world of education. Globalization accelerates the pace of knowledge and various kinds of news and relations between cultures,  deliver Islamic education so that it can adapt its values without losing its original values. Through the library study method and it was found that the digitalization of Islamic education, technology integration, and strengthening Islamic values is the main key in facing the dynamic global era.

Abstract

This study looks into one secondary English teacher's beliefs about vocabulary learning for young learners and the contextual factors affecting it, aiming to understand how those both influence her teaching practices. The research uses qualitative methods, specifically interview study, to gather detailed insights into teacher’s views, strategies, and the factors that affect her approach to teaching vocabulary. The findings are that the teacher emphasized the role of handwriting in vocabulary retention, believed in the effectiveness of contextual learning for vocabulary acquisition, and considered textbooks essential tools in vocabulary teaching. Additionally, the study identifies key contextual factors, including the teacher's perceptions of vocabulary learning, teacher’s education, collaboration with colleagues, and the challenges faced in the classroom. The study concludes that a teacher's beliefs and contextual factors significantly shape her vocabulary teaching practices for young learners.   Keywords: Teacher beliefs, Vocabulary learning, Contextual Factors

Abstract

Education pluralism and multiculturalism have become an important focus in contemporary education discussions. In an era of increasingly interconnected globalization, pluralism and multiculturalism have become crucial in building societies that are inclusive, tolerant, and accepting differences. The main objective of this journal is to explore the importance of education pluralism and multiculturalism in shaping awareness and acceptance of differences in an educational context. The research uses a qualitative approach involving a literary review and conceptual analysis. Education of pluralism and multiculturalism is essential in building inclusive societies. Through the understanding and awareness developed through this education, students can appreciate cultural, ethnic, religious, and social background differences. This approach also helps develop students' social and intercultural skills. Challenges in its implementation include inadequate curricula, lack of teacher training, and resistance to change. Government support, educational institutions, and the public are needed to ensure the success of education pluralism and multiculturalism. In conclusion, education plays an important role in shaping inclusive societies, but further efforts are needed to address implementation challenges and integrate them into existing education systems.

Abstract

Teachers play a strategic role in creating quality human resources. Every effort made to improve the quality of human resources without involving teachers will end in difficulties because teachers are the key people in determining the quality of education. Therefore, teachers are expected to have professionalism by mastering pedagogical, professional, social and personal competencies. One of the latest trends in the development of teacher professionalism is the adoption of technology in learning. Creative teachers use various applications and online platforms to enhance students' learning experience. They leverage learning videos, online forums, and even social media to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing. In this article, several strategies have been explained that teachers can use to increase their professionalism. By implementing these strategies, it is hoped that teachers can become more professional in carrying out learning tasks and create a conducive classroom atmosphere for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare the self-perceptions of elementary school instructors and those of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Are they similar or different? A quantitative comparison or comparison approach is employed. Questionnaires are used as data collecting tools and as survey methodologies. t test for independent sample data analysis method. The study's findings indicate that elementary school teachers have a self-confidence level of 77.58%, whereas Madrasah Ibtidaiyah instructors have a self-confidence level of 76.04%. The mean difference test findings indicate a probability value of 0.294 > 0.05 and a t value of -1.060. Therefore, it may be said that teachers who work in different.
