Abstract

Masalah utama dari penelitian disini adalah angka kemampuan berkomunikasi pada anakkusia 5-6 tahun di kelompok B sangat rendah. Dari hasil persentase yang dilakukan hanya terdapat 44,58% rata-rata dari kemampuan komunikasi yang dimiliki oleh anak-anak kelompok B di TK Yamassa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan media yang layak dan juga efektif untuk menstimulasikan keterampilan berkomunikasi anak dengan baik. Metode Research and Development digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Model Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi (ADDIE). Hasil dari pre-test dan post-test dihitung menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. berdasarkan hasil efektivitas didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,005 <0,05 karena hasil nilai signifikasi lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata antara pre-test dengan post-test yang mengalami kenaikan nilai skornya. sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media mibeba games (mitigasi bencana banjir) efektif digunakan untuk menstimulasikan keterampilan berkomunikasi anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kurang tertarik dengan pembelajaran yang mengembangkan tentang kemampuan kognitif khususnya mengenal konsep bilangan dan masih ada beberapa anak yang belum mampu menyebut bilangan, membilang, mengurutkan, dan menghubungkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan dan keefektifan media Kongka untuk mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (Penelitian dan Pengembangan). Model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Validator pada penelitian ini adalah 2 orang ahli (ahli materi, ahli media dan desain pembelajaran) dan 2 Guru PAUD. Subjek uji coba terbatas pada penelitian ini adalah anak TK usia 5-6 tahun dengan jumlah keseluruhan 10 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar instrument penilaian. Hasil dari pre-test dan post-test dihitung menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk Test. Hasil penilaian para ahli memperoleh nilai 90,9% dari ahli media, dari ahli materi mendapatkan nilai sebesar 75%, sedangkan dari uji coba guru mendapatkan nilai sebesar 75% dan 91,6%. Berdasarkan hasil efektivitas didapatkan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 maka hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Kongka efektif digunakan untuk mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

The characteristics of early childhood who like to play in various activities require games that are interesting, innovative, close and concrete for children. Based on these needs, the PKM Team provides a solution by providing game-making training according to the needs of students through STEAM-based Fun Games Making Training. This training was carried out for PAUD teachers in Benjeng-Gresik District with the aim of teachers being able to make interesting, innovative, close and concrete games for children and integrated in various STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). This series of community service activities is carried out over a period of 8 months from April to November 2022. Implementation begins with the drafting of the PKM concept, submission of PKM proposals, evaluation desk, designing the needs of PKM implementation, implementation of PKM, data collection and analysis of activities, fulfillment of PKM outputs, progress reports, and final PKM reports. The costs proposed to fulfill this series of PKM activities come from Unesa 2022 PNBP funds with the Faculty of Education Policy PKM scheme. The PKM partner is IGTKI, Benjeng District, Gresik Regency. The implementation method is carried out offline by providing conceptual understanding and followed up with STEAM-based game practices. The activity continued with periodic guidance from the PKM team to participants with the target of participants being able to implement STEAM-based games in their respective institutions. The output of PKM is in the form of videos of activity implementation, scientific articles in scientific journals, articles in online mass media and an MoU with IGTKI Partners, Benjeng District, Gresik Regency. For participants, this activity is useful in providing interesting STEAM-based games made by teachers so that they can be implemented in their respective institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment to improve the creative thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years.  This study uses the Research and Development model with the ADDIE model. The subjects that were the focus of this study were ten students from group B who attended TK DWP Karangankidul. The results of this study, it was found that textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment were deemed appropriate based on validation by material experts and textbook design experts, the average percentage of validation obtained was 95.34%, which means textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment are very suitable for use by teachers group B. The practicality of textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment obtained an average percentage of 9 Kindergarten teachers in group B of 91.66%, which means that textbooks are very practical to use. The effectiveness of textbooks on the theme of caring for the environment was analyzed using the Wilcoxon test calculations through SPSS 22. The results of the analysis showed that the Asymp. sing. (2-tailed) of 0.005. So that the p-value <0.05 or 0.005 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the use of environmental care theme textbooks is effective in improving the creative thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif anak berusia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan pengembangan penelitian (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 10 anak didik dari kelompok B yang bersekolah di TK DWP Karangankidul. Hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan telah dianggap layak berdasarkan validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli desain buku ajar, rata-rata persentase validasi yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 95,34% yang berarti buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan sangat layak untuk digunakan guru kelompok B. Kepraktisan buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan memperoleh rata-rata persentase dari 9 guru Taman Kanak-kanak kelompok B sejumlah 91,66% yang berarti buku ajar sangat praktis digunakan. Keefektifan buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan dianalisis dengan menggunakan perhitungan uji Wilcoxon melalui SPSS 22. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai Asymp. Sing. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,005. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai p < 0,05 atau 0,005 < 0,05, oleh karena itu H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan buku ajar tema peduli lingkungan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

Learning in early childhood should be packaged into fun and meaningful activities, with child-centered learning and developing children's creative thinking. Children's creative thinking has 4 indicators, originality, fluency, elaborative, flexibility. The existence of project-based learning (PjBL) allows children to develop their creative thinking through project learning that has been prepared by the teacher according to children's interests, children's needs and children's age. By confronting children with a problem, children's knowledge will develop and children can solve problems, develop ideas or ideas according to their own thoughts and children are able to create a product from their own ideas. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation of project-based learning (PjBL) for the creative thinking skills of children aged 5-6 years. This research method uses descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, the data obtained is the result of interviews, observation and documentation. The uniqueness of the findings of this study is that project-based learning (PjBL) in TK Negeri Pembina Surabaya is carried out every day for a week, based on the results of research that has been conducted on project-based learning (PjBL) for children's creative thinking, showing that of the 4 indicators of creative thinking only 3 indicators are dominant, namely flexibility, originality and elaboration while 1 weak indicator is fluency.

Abstract

Upaya dalam memperbaiki kualitas pendidikan dalam rangka mewujudkan sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan berkompeten, maka solusi yang ditawarkan adalah zonasi yakni kebijakan dalam penerimaan peserta didik baru dengan mempertimbangkan jarak terdekat sekolah dengan domisili tempat tinggal siswa. Kebijakan ini merupakan upaya pemerintah dalam pemerataan akses layanan pendidikan sekaligus kualitas pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang penerapan kebijakan zonasi dalam perspektif orangtua dan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan studi deskriptif. Data primer sebagai sumber data penelitian adalah orangtua siswa, sedangkan data sekundernya adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui trianggulasi data dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perspektif orangtua yang menyekolahkan di SD terkait dengan penerapan zonasi masih belum maksimal dan banyak orangtua yang belum mengetahui secara detail aturan terbaru tentang kebijakan zonasi. Berdasarkan pemahaman orangtua, sistem zonasi merupakan kebijakan pemerintah yang menganjurkan anak bersekolah didasarkan pada jarak domisili yang terdekat dengan sekolah. Penerapan zonasi ini menunjukkan dampak negatif yang dirasakan oleh orangtua karena merasa kecewa dengan sistem zonasi ini sehingga tidak bisa bersekolah yang diinginkan bagi anak mereka. Namun, ada orangtua yang menunjukkan dampak positif dari sistem zonasi ini karena anak yang domisilinya terdekat dengan sekolah lebih diprioritaskan, menghemat biaya transport, dan sekaligus menghapus sekolah favorit. Harapan ke depan dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan orangtua adalah sistem zonasi yang sudah berjalan ini tetap dilanjutkan di jenjang sekolah dasar. Penerapannya harus didukung dengan peningkatan perluasan wilayah zonasi, kualitas pendidik, kualitas mutu layanan sekolah, sarana prasarana agar terwujud sekolah yang lebih maju.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of children's prosocial behavior which is not yet in accordance with the standards for the developmental attainment level of children aged 5-6 years. Lack of prosocial behavior makes children less sensitive to their surroundings, such as children being unable to share, children being unable to help and children being unable to work together. The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of using Sembara storybook media to develop prosocial behavior in children aged 5-6 years. This research uses a type of development research with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The results of the effectiveness test using the Wilcoxon test show that 0.001 < 0.05, because the results of significance are less than 0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that the use of Sembara book media is effective in developing prosocial behavior in children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Mitigation is a stage that aims to reduce the possibility of negative impacts when a disaster occurs. With disaster mitigation education, it is hoped that the public can understand the threat of disasters that will occur. How high is the level of achievement of disaster mitigation activity programs in PAUD institutions in West Surabaya, District. Benowo. The type of research used in this research is a quantitative survey with a descriptive approach. Data collection in this research took the form of a questionnaire in the form of a Google form. The results of data analysis used a one-sample t-test with right-hand hypothesis testing. Cronbach's Alpha value is Reliability, it is known that Cronbach's Alpha value is 0.874. This value is then compared with the R-Table value, with the N100 value searched for in the distribution of R-Table values ​​at a significance of 5%, an R-Table value of 0.180 is obtained. All variables have valid status because the calculated r-value (corrected Item-Total Correlation) r-table is 0.180. This disaster mitigation activity program can be used as a learning activity program, especially storytelling activities to help children understand disaster events. By providing play activities, children will feel happy and enthusiastic about participating in learning activities.

Abstract

It is necessary to stimulate the cognitive development of symbolic thinking in children, so that the development of symbolic thinking in children can develop well. Stimulation can be done using various types of media, one of which is busy books. Busy book media is learning media made from flannel and contains various activities that can develop aspects of children's development. The perception of busy book users is carried out to increase insight and innovation for other users so that they don't just use monotonous media. This research aims to determine the relationship between busy book users' perceptions of stimulating the cognitive development of symbolic thinking in children aged 5-6 years. The number of samples used in this research was 88 people. The research location was carried out in the West Surabaya area. This research uses a quantitative correlation approach. The collection technique used is a questionnaire and uses data analysis techniques with product moment correlation tests and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this test were carried out using SPSS version 25 for Windows. The results of the research that has been carried out show that the perception of busy book users regarding the stimulation of cognitive development of symbolic thinking is 0.775, which is classified as quite high. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between busy book users' perceptions of stimulating the cognitive development of symbolic thinking in children aged 5-6 years.
