Abstract

The success of the teacher in creating an interesting learning atmosphere and can foster a positive attitude of students in participating in this learning is strongly influenced by several factors, one of which is the use of interesting learning media. The purpose of this research is to produce Snakes and Ladders Game Learning Media on the Circle material for grade VI students of SDN 26 Ampenan which is suitable for use based on the assessment of Material Experts, Media Experts, and Students, as well as improving student learning outcomes. Snakes and Ladders Game Learning Media was developed using research and development or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. At the Development stage, the media developed was assessed for feasibility by 2 Material Experts (lecturers and teachers), 1 Media Expert, 5 Small Group Trial Students, and 25 Large Group Trial Students. Data collection techniques in this development research are through questionnaires and tests. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the media assessment based on the Material Experts obtained an average score of 3.6 included in the "Very Eligible" criteria, the Media Experts obtained an average score of 3.1 included in the "Eligible" criteria, and Small Group Trial Students obtained an average score 3.5 is included in the "Very Eligible" criteria, and the Large Group Trial of Students obtained an average score of 3.4 is included in the "Eligible" criteria. Student learning outcomes after using the Snakes and Ladders Game Learning Media that has been developed have increased by 56%. It is concluded that the Snakes and Ladders Game Learning Media is acceptable, feasible and effective to be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

Accuracy of perception is the ability of individuals to recognize, organize, and interpret input from the environment and it is influenced by the level of individuals’ concentration on observing an object. When we can find out the causes of individual perceptual accuracy, we can design a learning instrument to enhance this ability. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of r`eward on the accuracy of pupils' perceptions. The study employs a comparative experimental approach, in which 20 subjects are divided into two groups: 10 subjects were promised rewards and 10 subjects were not. The accuracy of perception is measured by the length of time used by subjects when completing two different levels of tests. The more time required by subjects to complete the test, the more inaccurate perceptions of research subjects. To test hypotheses, the researcher performed the Split-Plot Anova technique on the subject's length of time completing the tests. The result shows that the p-value is 0.115, greater than 0.05 which means that there was no influence of giving rewards on the accuracy of perception.Kecermatan persepsi merupakan kemampuan individu dalam mengenali, mengorganisasikan, serta memaknai hal-hal yang berada di lingkungan sekitar dan dipengaruhi oleh tingkat konsentrasi individu dalam mengamati suatu objek. Ketika kita dapat mengetahui penyebab kecermatan persepsi yang dimiliki individu, kita dapat merancang sebuah instrumen pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan ini. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pemberian penghargaan terhadap kecermatan persepsi peserta didik. Penelitian yang menggunakan kaidah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen komparasi ini membagi 20 subyek ke dalam dua kelompok yaitu 10 subyek yang dijanjikan reward dan 10 subyek tidak dijanjikan reward. Kecermatan persepsi subyek diukur dengan tes yang diberikan sebanyak dua kali menggunakan instrumen yang berbeda dengan memperhatikan lama waktu subyek menyelesaikan tes. Semakin banyak waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh subyek dalam menyelesaikan tes, semakin tidak cermat persepsi subyek penelitian. Data rentang waktu subyek dalam mengerjakan tes dianalisis dengan teknik Split-Plot Anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah 0,115 lebih besar dari 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh antara pemberian penghargaan dengan kecermatan persepsi yang dimiliki subyek.

Abstract

Learning from home activities during covid pandemic are mostly carried out online by using smartphone devices and generally, the embedded operating system is Android. The existence of these smartphones makes students tend to spend more time watching videos or playing games. Educators must try to restore the enthusiasm of students in learning. One of the efforts that can be done by educators is through gamification or integrating learning materials into a game. Therefore, this study aims to develop a game based on the Android operating system about the flags of countries in the world as an additional medium for educators in teaching material on the sub-theme of globalization and its benefits for elementary school students in grade VI (six). This research is development research with the development model used is ADDIE which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. The results of the development show that the Android game guessing the images of the flags of countries in the world is suitable for use as a medium of learning in elementary schools on the sub-theme of globalization and its benefits as the validation results from media experts with a percentage of 81%, validation results from material experts with a percentage of 83%, as well as the response of students in small groups using the Android game (game) guess the pictures of the flags of the countries in the world with a percentage of 78%.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills are very important for students, especially for elementary school students. Students' communication skills in each student are always different, as are different learning styles for each student. The purpose of this study is to describe the mathematical communication process carried out by students in each type of learning style they have. The learning styles referred to refer to Honey-Mumford, namely; (1) Theoretical; (2) Pragmatic; (3) Activist; and (4) Reflective. The research was carried out at SDN 44 Ampenan, with the subjects being all of the fifth-grade students, totaling 39 students. Data collection was carried out by providing 2 instruments, namely a learning style questionnaire and math problems followed by semi-structured interviews to students who had finished. The results showed that the number of students with theoretical learning styles was the highest and students with active learning styles were the least. The results of the study also show that there are differences in mathematical communication in each learning style, but mathematical communication errors made by all types of learning styles are errors in writing formulas and conclusion sentences

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendidikan inklusif di provinsi NTB telah lama didengungkan. Namun demikian dalam implementasinya di sekolah pendidikan inklusif masih banyak mengalami hambatan. Implikasinya adalah perkembangan pendidikan inklusif di NTB masih jauh dari harapan. Salah satu hambatan yang dijumpai adalah tidak adanya panduan praktis dalam pengembangan implementasi pendidikan inklusif di sekolah. UNESCO sebagai salah satu lembaga dunia yang menaruh perhatian besar terhadap pendidikan inklusif telah menerbitkan panduan pengembangan pendidikan inklusif di sekolah. Pada dasarnya panduan tersebut telah disusun secara sistematis, namun demikian panduan tersebut terlalu kompleks sehingga perlu disederhanakan dan disesuaikan dengan kondisi sekolah di NTB. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada aktor pendidikan dalam menyusun panduan penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah para aktor pendidikan di provinsi NTB yang terdiri dari unsur pemerintah, perguruan tinggi, NGO dan sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif. Melalui workshop ini diharapkan dapat tersusun draf panduan pengembangan pendidikan inklusif yang lebih sederhana sehingga mudah diterapkan dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif di sekolah. Alur kegiatan dilakukan dengan tahapan ICARE (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, dan Extension). Hasil akhir kegiatan didapatkan tiga draf panduan pengembangan pendidikan inklusif di sekolah, antara lain draf pengembangan sekolah inklusif unggulan, draf panduan pengembangan pendidikan inklusif dalam pembelajaran dan draf panduan pelibatan mitra dalam pendidikan inklusif. Kata kunci: panduan pengembangan; pendidikan inklusif; aktor pendidikan. ABSTRACTInclusive education in the province of NTB has long been touted. However, in its implementation in schools, inclusive education still faces many obstacles. The implication is that the development of inclusive education in NTB is still far from expectations. One of the obstacles encountered is the absence of practical guidelines in developing the implementation of inclusive education in schools. UNESCO as one of the world institutions that pay great attention to inclusive education has published guidelines for the development of inclusive education in schools. These guidelines have been compiled systematically, however, these guidelines are too complex and need to be simplified and adapted to the conditions of schools in NTB. Based on these problems, it is necessary to hold community service activities with the theme of workshops on the preparation of guidelines for the development of inclusive education based on guidelines that have been published by UNESCO. The target of this activity is education actors in the province of NTB consisting of elements of the government, universities, non-governmental organizations, and schools providing inclusive education. Through this workshop, it is hoped that a simpler draft guide for the development of inclusive education can be drawn up so that it is easy to implement in the implementation of inclusive education in schools. The flow of activities is carried out in ICARE stages (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, and Extension). The final results of the activity obtained three drafts of guidelines for developing inclusive education in schools, including a draft of developing inclusive schools, a draft of a guide for developing inclusive education in learning, and a draft of a guide for involving partners in inclusive education. Keywords: development guide; inclusive education; education actor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil perbandingan analisis kualitas soal kemampuan membedakan rangkaian seri dan rangkaian paralel melalui pendekatan teori tes klasik dan model Rasch dilihat dari aspek validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran soal, serta daya pembeda soal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan proses pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Februari 2020. Data diperoleh melalui metode dokumentasi berupa 40 butir soal pilihan ganda dengan dua opsi jawaban dan diujikan kepada 195 orang mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar FKIP Universitas Mataram. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan teori tes klasik menggunakan SPSS 18.0 dan model Rasch dengan software Winstep. Kualitas soal dari aspek validitas dengan pendekatan teori tes klasik diperoleh 30 soal yang dikategorikan valid dan 10 soal dianggap tidak valid sedangkan dengan model Rasch diperoleh 5 soal kategorikan valid dan 35 soal dikategorikan tidak valid. Nilai reliabilitas Cronbach Alpha (KR-20) soal tes melalui pendekatan teori tes klasik adalah 0,470 (buruk) dan nilai reliabilitas Cronbach Alpha (KR-20) pada model Rasch adalah 0,640 (cukup) dengan nilai Person Reliability sebesar 0,60 (lemah) dan Item Reliability sebesar 0,97 (istimewa). Rata-rata indeks tingkat kesukaran soal pada pendekatan teori tes klasik adalah 0,631 dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan hasil analisis tingkat kesukaran berdasarkan model Rasch menunjukkan terdapat empat kategori tingkat kesulitan butir soal yaitu 7 soal yang termasuk sangat mudah, 13 soal mudah, 15 soal sulit, serta 5 soal sangat sulit. Daya pembeda butir soal dengan pendekatan teori tes klasik berada pada kategori buruk (20 item), kategori cukup 19 butir soal, serta 1 item dengan kategori baik. Daya pembeda butir soal dari pemodelan Rasch diperoleh 8 (delapan) kelompok butir soal yang didasarkan pada indeks separasi butir soal (H=8,28).

Abstract

ABSTRAKTingkat plagiasi merupakan salah satu indikator orisinalitas sebuah karya ilmiah. Tingginya tingkat plagiasi dapat mengindikasikan adanya ketidakjujuran mahasiswa dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Kasus plagiarisme dalam penulisan karya ilmiah tidak hanya terjadi karena faktor kesengajaan, tetapi juga dapat terjadi karena keterbatasan pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap teknik penulisan. Penyebab tingginya plagiasi dapat terjadi karena kesalahan pengutipan sumber pustaka, baik dari jurnal ilmiah, buku maupun sumber lainnya. Bentuk kesalahan yang terjadi adalah mahasiswa tidak melakukan parafrase terhadap redaksi yang dijadikan rujukan. Mahasiswa cenderung copy paste terhadap redaksi yang dikutipnya. Implikasinya adalah ketika dilakukan cek smiliarity akan terdeteksi sebagai plagiasi, meskipun telah diberi rujukan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan pelatihan teknik parafrase untuk mengurangi tingkat plagiasi pada karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan secara tatap muka langsung. Pelatihan dilakukan di program studi PGSD Universitas Mataram yang berlangsung selama 4 jam. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang akan mempersiapkan penyusunan proposal skripsi. Pelatihan dilakukan di program studi PGSD Universitas Mataram. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa terkait dengan teknik parafrase. Tingkat plagiasi mahasiswa mengalami penurunan setelah mendapatkan pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan tersebut disarankan agar mahasiswa terus dimbimbing secara intensif dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Mahasiswa harus meninggalkan kebiasaan copy paste agar terhindar dari kasus plagiasi pada saat penulisan tugas akhir. Kata kunci: teknik parafrase; karya ilmiah; tingkat plagiasi ABSTRACTThe level of plagiarism is one indicator of the originality of a scientific work. The high level of plagiarism can indicate students' dishonesty in writing scientific papers. Cases of plagiarism in writing scientific papers do not only occur due to intentional factors, but can also occur due to students' limited knowledge of writing techniques. The cause of high plagiarism can occur due to errors in citing library sources, both from scientific journals, books and other sources. The form of error that occurs is that the student does not paraphrase the editor who is used as a reference. Students tend to copy and paste the editors they quote. The implication is that when a smiliarity check is carried out, it will be detected as plagiarism, even though it has been given a reference. Based on these problems, it is necessary to conduct paraphrasing technique training to reduce the level of plagiarism in student scientific works. The method used in this training is to provide face-to-face training. The training was conducted in the PGSD study program at the University of Mataram which lasted for 4 hours. The target of this activity is final year students who will prepare the preparation of thesis proposals. The training was conducted in the PGSD study program at the University of Mataram. The results of the training showed an increase in students' knowledge and skills related to paraphrasing techniques. The level of student plagiarism decreased after receiving training. Based on the results of the training, it is recommended that students continue to be guided intensively in writing scientific papers. Abstract

Writing scientific articles is an obligation for several people, one of which is a college student. College students as prospective teachers must be equipped with the ability to formulate problems to implement the scientific method by publishing their research. In writing scientific papers, there are rules that must be obeyed, one of which is citation and compiling a list of references. The problem obtained is that students have difficulty in carrying out these stages. The solution that can be done is to use the Mendeley application. The target of this activity is the 6th semester of PGSD University of Mataram students who have or are currently taking a scientific paper writing course. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the pre-test to post-test average. This shows that the training provided has had a good impact in terms of knowledge and insight regarding citations and preparation of reference lists with the Mendeley application.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan Guru dalam membelajarkan bilangan bulat negatif kelas VI di SDN 28 Cakranegara. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif bersifat metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 28 Cakranegara. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru wali kelas VI. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi strategi pembelajaran dimulai dari upaya guru kelas VI pada penerapan strategi pembelajaran dalam membelajarkan bilangan bulat negatif yang meliputi penyampaian tujuan pembelajaran, menjelaskan materi pembelajaran, menggunakan metode pembelajaran di kelas, menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik perhatian siswa serta memberikan penilaian. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam membelajarkan bilangan bulat negatif kelas VI di SDN 28 Cakranegara yaitu strategi pembelajaran problem based learning.
