Abstract

This study set out to determine how to acquire, plan for, and use facilities and infrastructure to improve learning quality, as well as how to keep facilities and infrastructure up to date and how to plan for and maintain facilities and infrastructure to do so. This study utilizes subjective exploration techniques with a naturalistic methodology, getting information sources from the genuine circumstance. interviews, observation, and documentation studies are the data collection methods. After that, (a) reduction, (b) presentation, and (c) conclusion are used in the data analysis method. The review uncovered the accompanying: 1) Planning of facilities and infrastructure based on a needs analysis and teacher or other staff member suggestions. Facilities and infrastructure are prioritized according to their importance and the amount of money available. 2) Purchasing facilities and infrastructure from predetermined budgets or readily available funds. 3) There are predetermined procedures and timetables for making use of facilities and infrastructure. 4) The upkeep of the infrastructure and facilities that are available is the responsibility of each and every member of the school community, which includes students, teachers, special officers, and principals. 5) Facilities and infrastructure supervision is directly accountable to the deputy head of facilities and infrastructure. A crucial component of efforts to improve school quality is the management of infrastructure and facilities. Naturally, improving the quality of education in schools necessitates paying attention to how to effectively and efficiently manage good facilities and infrastructure in order to achieve learning objectives. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extinction of Udan Potir's repertoire in the Gordang Sambilan game while in development communication in Mandailing land. The extinction came from a repertoire full of ecological meaning in the form of rhythmic calling for rain and worshiping other than Allah. The method used in this study is exploratory research by analyzing the extinction of the udan potir repetoir in rites using gordang Sambilan along with the development of Islam in the Mandailing land. Specifically, this research seeks to trace information related to the repetoir on part-time gordang players in Mandaling Natal Regency, North Sumatra Province. This research analysis uses the Servaes development communication approach which seeks to unravel the extinction of Udan Potir's repertoire by looking at the important aspect of considering the local context in designing a development communication strategy. The results of this study indicate that Udan Potir's repetoir has uniqueness in the space of Mandailing local wisdom, but the repetoir is full of shirk values from rhythmic processes that tend to be in trance and worship other than God which makes this repeto increasingly left behind until it becomes extinct in the Gordang Sambilan tradition. Therefore it is necessary Therefore, development communication is needed to find a middle way in preserving Gordang Sambilan without violating the religious values shared by the majority of the community. this can be done by looking for alternative lyrics or movements that are more in line with religious values, or by maintaining the repertoire within the scope of non-religious culture.

Abstract

This research was conducted to explain and inform the application of Islamic communication principles of the National Unity and Politics Agency in establishing harmony in Community Organizations in Binjai City. The method used is a qualitative phenomenological approach. Meanwhile, the aim of the researcher is to explain and inform the application of the Islamic communication principles of the National and Political Unity Agency in establishing harmony with the Management of Community Organizations by applying any Islamic Communication Principles that have been used. Informants here include the Secretary to the Head of the Agency, the Head of Political Affairs, and the Secretary of Political Affairs. The results of this study indicate that the application used in the National Unity and Politics Agency is that there are six qaulan principles of Islamic communication that are applied in the National Unity and Politics Agency, namely, qaulan sadida as they apply the values ​​of truth, qaulan baligha, qaulan karima, qaulan maysura, qaulan layyina and the last one also uses qaulan ma'rufa as words or sentences that will not embarrass the communicant or himself when communicating. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the qaulan layyina communication principles to the bureaucracy in general, identify the momentum to apply the qaulan layyina communication principles to bureaucrats in the North Sumatra Provincial Government, analyze appropriate media to use, and identify communicators who should use the qaulan layyina principles. To obtain the data, interviews, observations, and document studies were carried out. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely displaying data, reducing data and concluding. In order for the data obtained to be tested for its validity, it is carried out by triangulation testing both the methods, sources, and results. The results show that the application of the qaulan layyina communication principle to the bureaucracy in general today has not been fully implemented properly, because even though there are checks and balances as a means of distribution, sometimes criticism is actually used as defamation or negative accusations, so that when someone wants to convey a message or advice they will think and hesitate to convey it. The point is that there are rules that "shackle" so that information cannot be freely conveyed to bureaucrats in Pemprovsu. The momentum to apply the qaulan layyina communication principles to bureaucrats in the North Sumatra Provincial Government was mainly conveyed at PHBI events or moments that were agreed upon for the delivery of opinions. Media that are appropriate for use for the application of the qaulan layyina communication principle to the bureaucracy in Pemprovsu are print, electronic and online media with 2 categories, namely those registered with the North Sumatra Diskominfo and those that are not registered. Communicators who should use the qaulan layyina principle are all partners both inside and outside the government. It's just that it remains within the corridor of the existing rules by referring to the communication principles that are generally used and the journalistic code of ethics. The results of the study show that the momentum of applying the qaulan layyina communication principle is something that should be implemented through a transparent and realistic process.

Abstract

Gaya komunikasi orang tua dapat memengaruhi perkembangan etika anak ke depannya. Oleh karena itu, orang tua perlu memilih gaya komunikasi yang tepat untuk menanamkan etika komunikasi Islam pada diri anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gaya komunikasi orang tua asuh dalam menanamkan etika komunikasi Islam pada anak Panti Asuhan Puteri Aisyiyah, Kelurahan Sudirejo I Medan Kota. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis data milik Miles dan Huberman, yang terdiri dari: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah orang tua asuh menggunakan gaya komunikasi assertive dan gaya komunikasi aggressive. Dalam pelaksanaan gaya komunikasi terdapat beberapa hambatan yang dialami, seperti hambatan internal ketika orang tua asuh belum bisa mengendalikan emosinya

Abstract

Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang perspektif mekanistis dalam komunikasi. Perspektif mekanistis merupakan salah satu perspektif dalam kajian komunikasi. Perspektif ini merupakan perspektif yang paling tua dalam kajian komunikasi. Menurut perspektif ini, komunikasi dikonseptualisasi sebagai proses yang mekanistis antara manusia. Dalam arti, proses komunikasi berjalan berdasarkan atau mengikuti mekanisme yang baku yakni secara sederhana proses komunikasi adalah proses penyampaian atau pengoperan lambang atau simbol yang disebut dengan pesan (komunike) dari sumber (komunikator) kepada penerima (komunikan). Banyak wilayah penelitian komunikasi yang dapat dilakukan berdasarkan perspektif mekanistis yakni seperti persuasi, efek media, jaringan komunikasi dan difusi.

Abstract

As social beings, of course humans cannot be separated from interactions that require communication in the process. In the process of social interaction, culture and customs also have a contribution in regulating the principles of communication. The principle of communication basically plays an important role for indigenous peoples because it can become a control tool in communicating in everyday life. The phenomenon of the Karo community also has various rules in interactions with both family and society. There are several rules of interaction in the communication of the Karo people which are in line with the principles of Islamic communication. So this paper aims to find out how to implement the principles of Islamic communication in family interactions with the Karo people in the Lingga Cultural Village, Simpang Empat District, Karo Regency. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that describes how the implementation of the principles of Islamic communication in the interaction of families of the Karo people. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation/field research, interviews, and literature studies by collecting references obtained from books and journals that support this research. The results of the study show that in family interactions, the Karo people also use the principles of Islamic communication, namely qoulan karima in interactions with parents, and interactions between in-laws and in-laws which are included in the rebu tradition in the Karo tribe, namely mehangke (reluctance and respect). . In interactions with others and relatives, this interaction is in line with the principles of Islamic communication, namely qoulan ma'rufa by prioritizing interactions using good language and appropriate expressions. Abstract

Manusia adalah makhluk sosial yang berinteraksi yang membutuhkan komunikasi.Budaya dan adat istiadat berperan dalam mengatur dasar-dasar komunikasi selama interaksi.Karena dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengontrol komunikasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, prinsip komunikasi pada dasarnya memegang peranan penting bagi masyarakat adat. Untuk dapat berinteraksi dengan keluarga dan masyarakat, fenomena masyarakat Karo harus mengikuti beberapa aturan. Masyarakat Karo memiliki sejumlah norma sosial yang sejalan dengan komunikasi Islami dalam interaksinya dengan orang lain. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan prinsip komunikasi Islami dalam interaksi keluarga dengan masyarakat Karo di Desa Budaya Lingga Kecamatan Simpang Empat Kabupaten Karo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menjelaskan bagaimana interaksi antar keluarga masyarakat Karo mencerminkan penerapan prinsip komunikasi Islami. Observasi/penelitian lapangan, wawancara, dan studi literatur dengan menggunakan referensi yang dikumpulkan dari buku dan jurnal yang mendukung penelitian ini merupakan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Karo juga menerapkan prinsip komunikasi Islami dalam interaksi keluarga, khususnya qoulan karima dalam interaksi dengan orang tua dan mehangke (keengganan dan rasa hormat) dalam interaksi antar mertua, yang merupakan bagian dari tradisi rebu suku Karo. Interaksi tersebut sesuai dengan prinsip komunikasi Islam, khususnya qoulan ma'rufa dengan menekankan interaksi menggunakan bahasa dan ungkapan yang tepat.

Abstract

Post-Covid-19 had extra impacts on Indonesian education. Learning activities experienced an evolution from offline to online, which is still happening today. Each college and university is under to move to online learning models; only a select number adopt hybrid learning, which blends offline and online learning methods. The quality of knowledge transfer supplied by lecturers to their students is significantly impacted by the online learning model, particularly in practical courses that rely upon close teacher-student interaction, and for students to receive and understand information transfer effectively, good communication patterns are required. This research aims to evaluate and identify the best communication model for learning in the post-COVID-19 pandemic environment. This study uses qualitative descriptive methods to describe and analyze the current learning communication model at IAIN Langsa, particularly in practical courses. This study used a phenomenological approach to observe phenomena that occur during online instruction at the IAIN Langsa campus. According to the findings of this study, virtual interactive communication patterns can boost students' curiosity, motivation, and interest in following and understanding the material offered. Communication with a model like this can help pupils improve their online learning abilities, because it requires students' active participation, virtual interactive communication can effectively message lecture materials.

Abstract

Film is one of the mass communication media that is currently favored by teenagers. This media is considered capable of being an alternative to preaching to the general public. One of them is Cinta Subuh’s film. This film is a medium for da’wah because, in this film, we can learn many moral messages. This study aimed to discuss moral values and understand the meaning of the moral message shown in the film "Cinta Subuh by Ali Farighi". This research is a descriptive qualitative research using a semiotic analysis model by Roland Barthes which is carried out in three stages, namely denotation, connotation, and myth. The data collection technique was carried out by directly analyzing the contents of the film Cinta Subuh to find out the description of the characteristics of the content and draw inferences from the content featured in the film. The results of the research contain moral values that are categorized as: 1) Morals to Allah such as devotion to Allah, love for Allah, sincerity, khauf and king', gratitude, muraqobah, repentance, benevolence, and trust. 2) Morals towards oneself, such as patience, faithfulness, humility, gratitude, istiqamah, iffah, forgiveness, and trust. 3) Morals towards fellow human beings, such as maintaining good relationships, telling the truth, not belittling others, being kind, and loving. 4) Morals towards the environment, such as the prohibition of causing damage to the earth, the prohibition of damaging plants and animals, the prohibition of polluting seawater, maintaining environmental safety, maintaining physical hygiene, and others.
