Abstract

The implementation of the Community Service Program (PkM) at SD Saraswati 4 Denpasar in Renon Village which involved 20 teachers from class I to class VI at SD Saraswati 4 Denpasar aims to improve the quality of education in terms of optimizing online learning during the Covid 19 pandemic. All of these activities has implemented through training and simulations, methods in the form of training and assistance on the use of media in the distance learning process / in the network (online). After carrying out the training, an online media application simulation assistance was carried out in learning practice. The results of this activity indicate that partner teachers have been able to use online media in distance learning. These teachers have been able to apply online learning media such as Whatsapp (WA), Google Classroom, Google Meet, and Zoom. The teacher showed an enthusiastic attitude in receiving the material in this program. This can be observed through several indicators such as; the level of attendance during the activity, enthusiasm in participating in learning, attitude in practicing, asking questions related to the material that has been submitted and responding to questions asked properly. The results of the learning evaluation show that partner teachers who previously could not use online media in learning have been able to apply online learning media such as Whatsapp (WA), Google Classroom, Google Meet, and Zoom. Abstract

This article discusses community service involving thematic learning assistance during limited face-to-face learning at SD N 12 Pemecutan. The activities focused on thematic learning in Grade V aim to educate students and provide them with new learning experiences, improve the quality of education, and enhance the overall educational standards during limited face-to-face learning. The thematic learning assistance provided by the team includes the creation of a work program designed to stimulate and address the difficulties faced by Grade V students at SD N 12 Pemecutan. The team's focus for thematic learning assistance is on subjects such as Civics, Mathematics, Indonesian Language, and Science. In addition, the community service team also teaches Yoga exercises that can be immediately practiced by students to promote their health. The team has also introduced a technology-based learning program to enhance students' knowledge, utilizing applications like Quiziz and instructional videos. Furthermore, the team has developed a work program aimed at optimizing the school's facilities and infrastructure. Based on all the activities conducted, significant changes have occurred in the teaching and learning process at SD N 12 Pemecutan, which is the location of this community service.

Abstract

Abstrak. Perkembangan revolusi industri 4.0 dicirikan dengan penggunaan internet dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan atau dikenal dengan Internet of Things (IoTS). Data survei APJII tahun 2018 menunjukkan bahwa 64,8 persen masyarakat Indonesia sudah terhubung dengan Internet yang penggunaannya sebagian besar untuk keperluan komunikasi dan  media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil literasi digital guru IPA Se-Kota Denpasar dan upaya sekolah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru IPA SMP di Kota Denpasar. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian diwakili oleh 18 guru IPA yang tersebar dalam 9 SMP di setiap Kecamatan Kota Denpasar yang dipilih dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dimana intrumen yang digunakan berupa kuisioner literasi digital.  Analisis data kuesioner  literasi digital dengan teknik persentase. Penellitian ini menemukan bahda profil literasi digital guru IPA se-Kota Denpasar sudah ada pada tingkat kategori baik yaitu 74,73 persen (dari yang diharapkan 100 persen), namun demikian ada aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan yaitu aspek kemampuan berkomunikasi dalam hal ini pemanfaatan media digital sebagai content creator untuk dapat menciptakan media pembalajaran yang inovatif.Abstract.The development of the industrial revolution 4.0 is characterized by the use of the internet in various aspects of life or known as the Internet of Things (IoTS). APJII survey data in 2018 shows that 64.8 percent of Indonesians are connected to the Internet, most of which is used for communication and social media purposes. This study aims to analyze the digital literacy profile of science teachers in Denpasar and the school's efforts to improve the digital literacy skills of teachers. The population in this study were all junior high school science teachers in Denpasar City. While the sample in the study was represented by 18 science teachers spread over 9 junior high schools in each district of Denpasar City, which were selected using a stratified random sampling technique. This type of research is descriptive quantitative where the instrument used is a digital literacy questionnaire. Data analysis of digital literacy questionnaire with percentage technique. This research found that the digital literacy profile of science teachers throughout Denpasar City was already at the good category level, namely 74.73 percent (from the expected 100 percent), however, there are aspects that need to be improved, namely the aspect of communication skills in this case the use of digital media as content creators to be able to create innovative learning media.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is designed to overcome post-pandemic educational challenges. The Merdeka Curriculum provides students to carry out learning activities freely, which means that they can think independently, innovative, learn autonomously, and be creative. To support The Merdeka Curriculum implementation in teaching, teachers can apply differentiated learning where students can study subjects according to their abilities, preferences, and needs. However, the enthusiasm of teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum is not matched with equitable training on differentiated learning. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to obtain an overview of differentiated learning understanding on elementary school teachers in the context of Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data was collected by administering questionnaires to the principals and teachers from 14 elementary schools. The questionnaires were used to measure elementary school teachers' understanding of differentiated learning, while interviews were conducted to obtain additional information regarding elementary school teachers' comprehension of differentiated learning. The data obtained is then analyzed descriptively. This study revealed that many elementary school teachers do not understand well about differentiated learning due to a lack of training and mentoring. Teachers improve their Merdeka Curriculum and differentiated learning understanding independently through the "Merdeka Mengajar" Platform. Only a few teachers apply differentiated learning because of their lack understanding. They have strong motivation to learn differentiated learning, which is inhibited by many tasks as classroom and homeroom teachers.

Abstract

The world and technology are constantly changing and developing rapidly. Every human being in various sectors is competing with each other to find new knowledge and new technology that can make human life easier. Various inter-sectoral collaborations have become a worthy and interesting finding to study because of their usefulness. One of them is the use of photographic techniques in the field of education which become a method called photovoice. The use of this method can be an alternative to learn natural sciences in elementary schools. Elementary school students are at the stage of cognitive development, namely the concrete operational stage that requires interaction with concrete objects that useful to form understanding. This is library research with a literature review method that aims to describe the meaning, benefits, method of implementation and photovoice assessment. So that later everyone can use it as learning method, especially in elementary natural science learning. Photovoice aims to gain insight because this activity is not just an activity of taking photos but also discussing them in group situations. Photovoice has many benefits which is suitable to master 21st century educational competencies, such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills. Photovoice is implemented through group learning by taking photos or pictures, providing photo narration and presenting them. The photovoice assessment uses a rubric with five assessment aspects, including; specifications, composition, visuals, image quality and narration.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membentuk komunitas belajar di program studi pendidikan biologi dengan mengimplementasikan lesson study dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Dalam pelaksanaan lesson studydiperlukan kolaborasi antara mahasiswa dengan dosen, dosen dengan dosen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode etnogra?. Peneliti melibatkan diri sebagai pengamat partisipatif (participant observation), kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November sampai dengan Desember 2017. Ada lima dosen yang terlibat dalam kegiatan plan, do dan see. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi dosen, lembar observasi mahasiswa, lembar pengamatan, dan notulen dari para observer. Lesson study mampu memfasilitasi dosen dalam membangun komunitas belajar di program studi pendidikan biologi, yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbaikan bahan ajar yang dirumuskan bersama kelompok dosen, perbaikan cara mengajar dengan masukan dari observer dan evaluasi mahasiswa, interaksi yang semakin baik antara dosen dengan dosen dan dosen dengan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Science is an activity that can improve thinking abilities. Science activities allow children to explore various objects, both living objects (living creatures) and non-living objects around them. 1st grade of elementary school students are still young children who need to strengthen their introduction to science about living things. In the teachings of Hinduism there is Tri Pramana which means three powers possessed by living creatures. This research is an descriptive-qualitative research using a literature study method which aims to describe strengthening the introduction of science about living things through the teachings of Tri Pramana (Bayu, Sabda, Idep) in 1st grade of elementary school students. Based on the research results, it was found that strengthening the introduction of science about living things through Tri Pramana teachings for 1 st grade elementary school students is an effort to increase understanding through meaningful learning strategies regarding exploration activities and simple grouping of living things, consisting of plants, animals and humans. The Eka Pramana group are organisms that only have one power in their lives (Bayu), for example plants, the Dwi Pramana group, namely organisms that have two powers in their lives (Bayu, Sabda), for example animals, and the Tri Pramana group, namely organisms that in his life he has three powers (Bayu, Sabda, Idep), an example of which is humans.

Abstract

One of the most important methods in Natural Sciences learning is practicum. The problem faced by the Department of Primary School Teacher Education, I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa State Hindu University, Denpasar, is that the implementation of science practicums has not been optimal due to the absence of science practicum guides and facilities. The solution to this problem is developing practicum implementation by providing practicum guides that are able to facilitate existing limitations. This research uses research and development methods that aims to develop a science practicum guide starting from exploring science material to developing a YouTube-based science practicum guide to enhance student practicum implementation. Results showed that the validity test results gained validity score of 89% which means valid. After being applied to students, they also received responses in the categories of strongly agree and agree. Thus, showed that the practicum guide utilizable as a supplement in teaching materials so as to support the improvement of practicum implementation among students.

Abstract

Di era Revolusi Industri 4.0, kemampuan literasi dan numerasi menjadi kunci untuk menjadi individu yang berdaya saing. Oleh karena itu sejak diberlakukan Kurikulum Merdeka oleh pemerintah Indonesia, kemampuan literasi dan numerasi dijadikan sebagai salah satu tolok ukur kualitas satuan pendidikan. Namun, masih banyak ditemukan satuan pendidikan khususnya di sekolah dasar yang hasil asesmen literasi dan numerasinya masih belum memuaskan. Salah satunya di SD Negeri 5 Mas, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan kepala SD Negeri 5 Mas menyatakan bahwa siswa di satuan pendidikan tersebut masih perlu mendapatkan bimbingan dan pendampingan agar kemampuan literasi berkembang optimal. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka tim pengabdian terdorong untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian di SD Negeri 5 Mas, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali. Untuk mengukur keberhasilan kegiatan dilakukan dengan pengukuran gain skor hasil terhadap hasil pretes dan postes. Hasilnya rerata gain skor yang diperoleh siswa sebesar 0,63 (sedang).
