Abstract

Abstract. Karangpakuan Village, located in Darmaraja District, Sumedang Regency, is one of the villages that still upholds local wisdom. It is characterized as a producer of traditional glutinous rice-based processed food, namely Opak, called Opak Moronyoy. This product has gained its own place in the local market and is able to attract consumers from various circles. This article is the output of the community service activities carried out by professors, supervisors, and students. The community service activities consist of activity planning, formulation of assistance activities, program assistance (innovation process), and innovation creation. The analysis method used is descriptive analytic, which is a method that focuses on the description that occurs in the community related to the object of community service in Karangpakuan Village in developing Opak Moronyoy MSMEs as an improvement in product quality and quantity. The results of the analysis include the benefits and constraints in activating MSMEs. The service team also provided suggestions regarding packaging design and packaging trials that are more modern and attractive to attract consumers widely. Abstrak. Desa Karangpakuan yang terletak di Kecamatan Darmaraja Kabupaten Sumedang merupakan salah satu desa yang masih menjunjung kearifan lokal. Memiliki ciri khas sebagai penghasil makanan olahan tradisional berbahan dasar ketan yakni Opak, yang bernama Opak Moronyoy. Produk ini telah memperoleh tempat tersendiri di pasar lokal dan mampu menggaet minat konsumen dari berbagai kalangan. Artikel ini merupakan luaran kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang dilakukan oleh guru besar, dosen pembimbing, dan mahasiswa. Aktivitas pengabdian terdiri dari perencanaan kegiatan, perumusan aktivitas pendampingan, pendampingan program (proses inovasi), sampai dengan cipta inovasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik, yaitu sebuah metode berfokus pada deskripsi yang terjadi di masyarakat berkaitan dengan objek pengabdian prilaku masyarakat Desa Karangpakuan dalam mengembangkan UMKM Opak Moronyoy sebagai peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas produk. Hasil analisis antara lain mengenai manfaat dan kendala dalam menggiatkan UMKM. Tim pengabdian juga memberikan usulan mengenai desain kemasan dan uji coba pengemasan yang lebih modern serta menarik untuk menggaet konsumen secara luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) mahasiswa PBSI, FKIP, Universitas Pakuan dengan menerapkan model Project Based Learning berbasis Lesson Study. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas A, semester III, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Pakuan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan simpulan, dan verifikasi data. Teknik yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan pengkajian pada hasil proyek (RPP). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) berbasis Lesson Study.

Abstract

The Effectiveness of Using E-Flipbook Based Teaching Materials for Writing Procedure Texts for Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Parungkuda, Sukabumi Regency. Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the procedural text writing skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Parungkuda, Sukabumi Regency and the obstacles experienced by class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Parungkuda, Sukabumi Regency in improving procedural text writing skills by using e-flipbook based procedural text writing skills teaching materials. . The method used in this study is the experimental method, the data collection techniques used are tests, questionnaires, and observations. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Parungkuda, Sukabumi Regency. The sample of this research is class VII D as the experimental class and class VII F as the control class by using cluster random sampling technique. The first hypothesis is the effectiveness of using e-flipbook based procedural text writing skills in improving the ability to write procedural texts in seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Parungkuda, Sukabumi Regency. this is evidenced by the obtaining of experimental class pretest data with an average value of 42.2 (low ability) in writing procedure text, while the experimental class posttest results in writing procedure text increased with an average value of 82.9 (able). The results of the calculation of the comparison of the mean of the experimental class and the control class using the t test formula, obtained the price data and db = 58. and obtained the price of and the price of . Thus, the value of t_count is greater than t_table or the price of because the value of< is 1,672,39. These results indicate that the use of procedural text writing skills based on e-flipbooks effectively improve procedural text writing skills in seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Parungkuda, Sukabumi Regency. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan teknik skimming dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca ekstensif siswa kelas IX SMP Yapis Bogor, serta mengetahui kendala dalam membaca khususnya membaca ekstensif siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan menggunakan teknik tes dan teknik nontes. Teknik tes dibagi dua yaitu prates dan pascates. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas berjumlah 64 siswa. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 64 siswa yaitu kelas IX A berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas IX B berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Hipotesis pertama terbukti kebenarannya, penerapan teknik skimming dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca ekstensif siswa. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil rata-rata prates kelas eksperimen yaitu 58 dengan taraf kurang mampu, dan nilai rata-rata pascates kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan menjadi 79,21 dengan taraf mampu. Sedangkan di kelas kontrol rata-rata prates yaitu 48,75 dengan taraf kurang mampu, dan nilai pascates kelas kontrol yaitu 61,15 dengan taraf cukup mampu. Memang dikedua kelas ini terjadi peningkatan tetapi pada kelas eksperimen terjadi peningkatan yang lebih signifikan dan dinyatakan siswa mampu setelah diberi perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan perbandingan mean dengan menggunakan t-tes, diperoleh hasil thitung = 3,78 dan hasil d.b = 62. Nilai d.b=62 di dalam ttabel taraf signifikan 1% yaitu 2,38 dan ttabel taraf signifikan 5% yaitu 1,66. Dengan demikian, thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel karena nilai ttabel thitung yaitu 2,381,66. Hal ini membuktikan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas IX SMP Yapis Bogor, sebagian siswa masih mengalami kendala terutama saat membaca cerpen menggunakan teknik skimming, sebanyak 38% dari 32 siswa atau hampir separuhnya mengalami kendala tersebut. Kemudian kendala selanjutnya yaitu saat membaca cerpen yang di dalamnya terdapat kosa kata yang baru ditemukan, sebanyak 41% dari 32 siswa atau hampir separuhnya mengalami kendala tersebut. Kendala selanjutnya yaitu saat siswa membaca ekstensif sebanyak 34% dari 32 siswa atau hampir separuhnya mengalami kendala tersebut.

Abstract

Development of Emaze-Based Animated Media to Improve Reading Literacy of VI Students in the sub-topic My Friends Plants aims to (1) describe the process of developing Emaze-based animated video media to improve reading literacy; (2) describe the potential of Emaze-based animated video media to improve reading literacy. reading literacy and (3) describing student responses after using an Emaze-based animated video resource to improve reading literacy. The research methodology used is Research and Development with VI class students of SDN Pabuaran Cilendek Timur with the ADDIE model (Research, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The instruments used in this study were four experts, two interactive learning media experts, animation design media experts, EYD language experts and material experts, student and teacher response instruments, a questionnaire, and pre-test and post-test instruments. The validation results of the four experts produced an average of 97.3% with the criteria of "Very Good", the results of the pre-test and post-test evaluations with the criteria of "High" and the responses yielded an N-Gain score of 0.70. Of 30 students, 90% with the criteria of "Very Good", the teacher's response rate was 88% with "Excellent" criteria, and students' reading literacy increased to 85% with the "Very Good" criteria. My Friend's Plants Lesson 1 Meets the Good and Appropriate Criteria for Developing Animation Media Products using Emaze to promote reading literacy in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to create interactive learning media based on Emaze software appropriate for grade V elementary school civic subjects. This development research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. However, this research was stopped from being developed because of the limited time required to do the research. The subject of this research is nine grade V students and one public primary school teacher, Pabuaran Cilendek Timur Bogor Elementary School. The methods of collecting data are observation and questionnaires. The instruments used in this research are the observation sheet, interview guidance, and scale of validation sheet material and media expert. This research results in interactive learning media based on Emaze, which is appropriate for civic Subjects of phase C of grade 5 elementary school. From the media expert validation, this interactive learning media gets a score percentage of 89.85% in a very appropriate category, while from the material expert validation, it gets a score of 94.43 % in a very appropriate category. The result for the individual trial gets a score percentage of 96.30% in the very practical category, while the result of the small group trial gets a score percentage of 98% in the very practical category. Through increased motivation, reading comprehension, literacy skills, collaboration, and the provision of quality reading content, Emaze can be an effective tool for encouraging reading culture and improving literacy in elementary school settings.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Kakawihan permainan tradisional Sunda adalah lagu pengiring ketika sebuah permainan dilakukan. Dalam setiap lirik kakawihan banyak ditemukan leksem hewan dan tumbuhan sebagai gambaran kedekatan antara manusia dengan alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk dan kategori leksikon flora dan fauna yang terdapat dalam lirik kakawihan permainan tradisional Sunda. Untuk mengkaji penelitian ini, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dan catat. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan metode deksriptif kualitatif menggunakan teori ekolinguistik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, disimpulkan bahwa korpus leksikon flora yang terdapat dalam 22 kakawihan permainan tradisional Sunda ditemukan sebanyak 12 jenis flora. Leksikon fauna yang terdapat dalam kumpulan kakawihan permainan tersebut ditemukan sebanyak 18 jenis fauna. Bentuk leksikonnya terdiri atas (1) bentuk tunggal seperti “oray” yang berarti ular, dan (2) bentuk kompleks seperti “seureuh leuweung” yang berarti sirih hutan. Kategori leksikon dari hasil kajian ini, yaitu nomina dan frasa nomina. Hasil temuan leksikon flora dan fauna tersebut sekaligus menjadi ciri khas wilayah tempat tinggal suku Sunda yang mayoritas bermukim di daerah pegunungan dan identik dengan ekosistem pegunungan, persawahan, sungai, dan sedikit ekosistem pantai. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi secara teoretis dan praktis untuk bidang linguistik, serta menjadi upaya pelestarian alam dan pendokumentasian budaya. KATA KUNCI: leksikon flora dan fauna; kakawihan; permainan tradisional; kajian ekolinguistik THE LEXICON OF FLORA AND FAUNA IN TRADITIONAL SUNDANESE CHILDREN'S SONGS: AN ECOLINGUISTIC STUDY ABSTRACT: Kakawihan, traditional Sundanese children's songs, are sung as accompaniment during games. The lyrics of these songs often include lexemes of animals and plants, reflecting the close relationship between humans and nature. This study aims to identify the forms and categories of flora and fauna lexicons found in the lyrics of traditional Sundanese children's songs. Data collection for this study was conducted using the observation and note-taking methods. The data were then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method based on ecolinguistic theory. The analysis and discussion revealed that the corpus of flora lexicons in 22 traditional Sundanese children's songs includes 12 types of flora. The fauna lexicons found in these songs consist of 18 types of fauna. The lexicon forms are composed of (1) single forms such as 'oray,' meaning snake, and (2) complex forms such as 'seureuh leuweung,' meaning forest betel. The lexicon categories identified in this study are nouns and noun phrases. The findings of flora and fauna lexicons also characterize the living environment of the Sundanese people, who predominantly reside in mountainous areas and are associated with mountain ecosystems, rice fields, rivers, and a few coastal ecosystems. This research is expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to the field of linguistics, as well as to efforts in nature conservation and cultural documentation. KEYWORDS: Flora and fauna lexicon; kakawihan; traditional games; ecolinguistic study

Abstract

General Background: Reading literacy is a critical competency for elementary students, especially in the context of Indonesia’s low international reading scores. Specific Background: Despite the integration of literacy programs, traditional learning media have failed to maintain students’ interest and improve comprehension. Knowledge Gap: Limited interactive and engaging digital learning tools tailored to Indonesian cultural values hinder literacy development. Aims: This study aims to develop and evaluate a digital flipbook learning medium using fairy tales to improve reading literacy among third-grade students. Results: Implementing the ADDIE model, the flipbook was validated by media, language, and content experts with “very good” ratings, and applied to 38 students at SDN Panaragan 3. Significant literacy improvement was recorded in 89.5% of participants (N-Gain = 0.74, categorized as “High”), supported by Wilcoxon test and effect size analysis (58%). Novelty: The innovation lies in integrating Canva and Simplebooklet for culturally embedded storytelling and interactive multimedia features to enhance engagement and comprehension. Implications: Flipbooks show promise as scalable, user-friendly digital media for literacy instruction in primary education and suggest pathways for future research in digital pedagogy rooted in local context.Highlight : Flipbook media significantly improved reading literacy, shown by a 0.74 N-Gain score (high category). The ADDIE model guided systematic development, from needs analysis to evaluation. Validation by experts confirmed the flipbook's quality in design, language, and content. Abstract

Learning the Indonesian language cannot be separated from the use of textbooks. In using textbooks, teachers must consider several aspects, especially text readability. This study aims to measure text readability in Indonesian textbooks using the Fry Graph Formula and determine the suitability of the text used in the book with the student's school level. The present study applied the descriptive analysis and quantitative approach method to count and analyze texts in several Indonesian language textbooks readability using the Fry graph formula. Three Indonesian language textbooks with 45 measured text in 11th grade were analyzed. This study found that 25 texts showed the results "Not Appropriate", 16 texts showed the results "Appropriate", and four texts showed the results "Invalid". Based on the analysis, the number of readabilities of text in Indonesian language textbooks was easy for textbooks at 11th grade. The findings in this study can help the teacher adjust and choose the suitable teaching materials in Indonesian language textbook to improve teaching and learning quality. Before selecting a leading textbook as a learning source, we suggest teachers analyze text readability to improve learning efficiency and quality.
