Abstract

Karbon dioksida (CO2) yang berasal dari kegiatan industri, merupakan salah satu penyebab gas rumah kaca yang berkontribusi terhadap pemanasan global. Belakangan ini mikroalga banyak diminati karena kemampuannya dalam biofiksasi CO2, sebagai sumber karbon pada proses fotosintesis. Mikroalga memiliki potensi untuk mengurangi emisi CO2, serta biomassa yang dihasilkan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku obat, maupun bahan baku biodiesel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mikroalga Chlorella emersonii dalam menghasilkan karotenoid dan lipid akibat pengaruh paparan gas CO2 tinggi. Waktu pemaparan CO2 99,90% dilakukan setiap 5; 10; 15; 20 menit per hari selama 28 hari. Biomassa yang dihasilkan, diekstrak karotenoid total dan lipid total yang diukur menggunakan analisis spektrofotometri dan gravimetri. Lipid diesterifikasi dengan metode modifikasi metanol-HCl-transesterifikasi dan dikarakterisasi menggunakan Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, stres lingkungan yang disebabkan paparan gas CO2 selama 10 menit, menurunkan biomassa sebesar 45,17%, disertai peningkatan lipid dan kandungan asam lemak sebesar 52,31% dan 73,42%, dengan kandungan karotenoid total optimal 8,54 µg/mL. Budidaya Chlorella emersonii merupakan solusi yang efisien dan berkelanjutan untuk mengatasi masalah cemaran gas CO2, efek stres yang dihasilkan dapat menjadi strategi untuk meningkatkan kandungan karotenoid, lipid dan asam lemak yang berpotensi untuk biodiesel.

Abstract

Dairy manure that functioned as organic fertilizer has potential impact as environmental destructive waste because the absorption of inorganic nutrients in the fertilizer. On the other hand, microalgae growth is hindered by the high cost of culture, whereas organic and inorganic nutrient requirements. Dairy manure have the potential for microalgae nutrients, but are hindered by turbidity levels. Its has been tested for dilution dairy manure and treatments on fluorescence and sunlight sources and the addition of urea commercial fertilizer to absorbs organic and inorganic nutrients. Its prove the integration of bioremediation of dairy manure and microalgae cultivation Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Chlorella vulgaris can be performed and also serves as a source of caratenoid (chlorophyll)

Abstract

Virgin Coconut Oil is an oil of coconut milk fermentation that has many uses such as can prevent HIV, because it functions as antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. Antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral agents are found in bacteria lactic acid bacteriocin, a peptide that can destroy bacterial cells and pathogenic fungi and viral cells. The aim of this study was to identify molecularly lactic acid bacteria isolated and morphologically identified and biochemical tests, from fermented coconut milk. Apparently lactic acid bacteria is Lactobacillus paracasei strain 1.7. Virgin Coconut Oil adalah minyak dari fermentasi santan kelapa yang mempunyai banyak sekali kegunaan diantaranya  dapat mencegah HIV, karena berfungsi sebagai antibakteri, antijamur dan antivirus. Zat antibakteri, antijamur dan antivirus itu terdapat pada bakteri asam laktat yaitu bakteriosin, berupa peptida yang dapat menghancurkan sel bakteri dan jamur patogen serta sel virus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi secara molekular bakteri asam laktat  yang telah diisolasi dan diidentifikasi secara morfologi dan uji – uji biokimia, dari santan yang difermentasi.  Ternyata bakteri asam laktat nya adalah Laktobacillus paracasei strain 1.7.

Abstract

Influence of Co-Doping of Ni (II) on Photocatalytic Activity of TiO2 for Pathogenic Bacteria Inhibition. Nanoparticle titanium dioxide (TiO2) has most attention in the past decade, since it can be applied as alternative material on sterilization photocatalyst process. This research focused on increasing performance of titania such as structure, particles size and surface area through Ni ion doped on TiO2 surface by sol-gel technique. Product were used to design of a photobioreactor for sterilization process from pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis. Product were characterized using Thermogravimetric-Differential Thermal Analysis (TG-DTA), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Transmition Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopes-Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (SEM-EDX) dan Brunauer-Emmet-Teller (BET). Titanium dioxide with anatase structure have 12.1 nm in particles size and surface area 49.6 m2 / g that have higher inhibition rate to bacteria cell. Photobiocatalytic reaction was carried out in various TiO2-Ni concentration and UV irradiation times. The anti bacteria from TiO2-Ni to all bacteria cell suspension after UV irradiated at λm : 365 nm has good synergistic effect. Effect of mechanical treatment by sonicator showed the increasing inhibition rate around 4% for 120 minute irradiation. Inhibition rate optimization for each bacteria gave different efficiency inhibition to TiO2-Ni concentration 1.5-2.0 g/L. TiO2-Ni powder inhibited growth of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus around ≥ 95% for 120 minute irradiation, while Bacillus subtilis resistance with inhibition percentage rate only 88.1%.

Abstract

In general, the process of collecting and grouping data requires a long process. And if it has to be grouped manually it takes a very long time. Therefore, data mining is a solution for clustering data - a lot of data to classify it. In this research conducted at CV.Togu - Togu On Medan Branch, data mining is applied using the K-Means process model and the C4.5 algorithm which provides a standard process for using data mining in various fields used in classification because the results of this method easy to understand and easy to interpret. . The K-means method is a non-herarical method which is an algorithmic technique for grouping items into k clusters by minimizing the distance of the SS (sum of square) to the cluster centroid. In the K-means method, the number of clusters can be determined by the researcher himself. And the testing methods used to measure cluster quality are the Silhouette Coefficient and the Elbow Method. Based on the research conducted, there are significant differences before and after using the two methods. The results of the K-Means algorithm will be compared with the results of the C4.5 algorithm in the form of rules (decision trees). Abstract

Concentration of sales that are focused on products that are in great demand and are popular is one of the supermarket sales techniques. Seasonal sales techniques like this sometimes have an impact that can be seen obviously by the imbalance in sales of existing products in supermarkets. Sales imbalance can be the initial cause for a product to lose interest and become a product that is eventually removed from store. With a classification model made to predict which products will be eliminated or churn, it can assist staff in distributing the sales of each product. The more products are churn due to lack of enthusiasts which can affect the overall sales of the supermarket. The purpose of this study is to assist staff in classifying potentially churn products. The classification model consists of 3 models with different algorithms and the results show that the application of the Random Forest algorithm is more effective for predicting data with 96% accuracy compared to 81% for the Logistic Regression algorithm and 46% for the Support Vector Machine algorithm.

Abstract

Jantung adalah organ yang esensial dalam tubuh manusia dan berfungsi sebagai pusat pengatur dalam sistem sirkulasi, dimana pembuluh darah bertindak sebagai jalur distribusinya. Meskipun memegang peran vital, jantung juga merupakan organ yang sangat rentan terhadap berbagai penyakit. Penyakit jantung merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis yang umum di seluruh dunia, dan diagnosis dini sangat penting untuk pengelolaan yang efektif. Penting untuk mendeteksi penyakit jantung secara awal, terutama jika ada faktor bawaan, untuk mencegah risiko komplikasi serius dan kematian yang dapat dihindari. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk membandingkan lima algoritma klasifikasi dalam mengklasifikasi keberadaan penyakit jantung berdasarkan data klinis pasien. Dataset yang digunakan mencakup informasi umur, jenis kelamin, jenis nyeri, tekanan darah, kolestrol, gula darah, hasil EKG, detak jantung, angina, oldpeak, kemiringan segmen ST, kelas. Dataset terdiri dari 1190 baris data lalu data tersebut dibagi menjadi 80% data latih dan 20% data validasi. Algoritma yang dibandingkan ialah CatBoostClassifier, HistGradientBoostingClassifier, RandomForestClassifier, XGBClassifier, VotingClassifier. Berdasarkan hasil eksperimen yang dilakukan bahwasannya algoritma HistGradientBoostingClassifier dan VotingClassifer memiliki akurasi yang optimal dibandingkan dengan algoritma RandomForestClassifier, XGBClassifier dan CatBoostClassifier. HistGradientBoostingClassifier dan VotingClassifier memiliki akurasi 97% dan 97% sedangkan RandomForestClassifier mencapai akurasi 96% lalu XGBClassifier mencapai akurasi 96% terakhir CatBoostClassifier mendapatakan akurasi 95%. Algoritma HistGradientBoostingClassifier dan VotingClassifier disarankan untuk digunakan karena lebih optimal dalam mengklasifikasi pasien penyakit jantung dan normal karena mendapatkan akurasi yang tinggi dibandingkan algoritma lainnya. Penelitian menegaskan pentingnya pemilihan algoritma yang tepat untuk diagnosis dini dan pengelolaan penyakit jantung yang efektif, sehingga dapat membantu dalam mengurangi risiko komplikasi dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, computerized systems have been used by many parties, both agencies, organizations and educational institutions. A computerized system is an information system that will design transaction data into useful information and aims to help make efficient decisions. However, at this time, PT. Surya Mandiri Motor does not yet use a computerized system, so errors often occur in recording, calculating transaction data, there are difficulties in searching for data and difficulties in making reports. This sales information system can be a solution that can simplify data processing so that the sales transaction process will be faster, more precise and accurate. This system was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database.

Abstract

This study was conducted to see the effect of growth and antioxidant activity of microalgae Oocystis sp before and after adding NaOCl to Growmore medium combined with urea. Antioxidant activity test was conducted by calculating IC50 spectrophotometrically with the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. Oocystis sp extract was obtained by sonication and maceration process with methanol solvent. The results showed the best growth curve for the growth of microalgae Oocystis sp in a mixture of Growmore medium 0.02% b/v and Urea 0.002% b/v. These results also showed a decrease in Oocystis sp growth in a mixture of Growmore medium 0.02% b/v and Urea 0.002% b/v with the lowest growth decrease in the addition of NaOCl with a concentration of 0.01%. The IC50 value of Oocystis sp extract in methanol solvent has high antioxidant activity in Growmore 0.02% b/v + Urea 0.002% b/v medium, which is 55.5862 mg/L. It can be concluded that NaOCl affects the growth and antioxidant activity of microalgae Oocystis sp, but at certain concentrations NaOCl experienced a negative effect.Keywords: Microalgae, Oocytis sp, Oxidative Stress, Growth, Antioxidant

Abstract

Perkembangan Teknologi saat ini sangat pesat dalam segala bidang termasuk dalam bidang Pendidikan. Namun sampai saat ini masih banyak Kampus atau Perguruan Tinggi yang menggunakan sistem konvensional dalam kegiatan Penelitian dan Pengabdian. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diatas dibutuhkan Sistem Pencatatan Kegiatan Penelitian Pengabdian Masyarakat. Sistem yang dirancang menggunakan Model Prototype. Dengan adanya sistem ini  akan mempermudah proses atau kegiatan pelaksanaan penelitian di Perguruan Tinggi dan Universitas. Hasil persentase pada web yang dirancang yaitu penilaian desain kinerja diperoleh 89%, tampilan desain pada sistem persentase 90% , pengolahan data pada sistem 80%,  keamanan data 85% dan desain tampilan 95% Sehingga dinyatakan layak sebagai sistem pencatatan kegiatan penelitian berbasis web.
