Abstract

Many stressors on parents during the COVID-19 pandemic have triggered violence in children. Continuous violence will have various negative impacts on children. This research aims to determine the relationship between stress and family strength on incidents of violence in school-aged children during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research design used is quantitative research with descriptive correlational methods and cross sectional approach. The sampling method uses probability sampling with cluster sampling. Bivariate analysis will use the Pearson Correlation test. Meanwhile, linear regression analysis was used to determine the variables most related to violence in school-age children. After data analysis, the results obtained were that stress variables (general and specific) had a significant relationship to child violence (p-value 0.000 and 0.000), strength The family has a significant relationship with school age child violence (p-value 0.000), as well as being the most influential factor in the incidence of child violence with coefficient B= -1.960. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a basis for stakeholders to design policies related to minimizing child violence that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. Community health centers and community nurses are expected to be more active in detecting and handling cases of child violence that occur in the community.

Abstract

Preschool period to be a conducive period for developing various kinds of abilities, intelligence, talents, physical, cognitive, language, emotional and spiritual abilities in children. One of the factors that has a big influence in supporting children's development is the stimulation factor. The purpose to analysis the relationship application of stimulation to the developmental abilities with pre-school children. The research design is quantitative with a correlational descriptive method using a cross sectional study approach. This research used 242 respondents who were mothers of pre-school children aged 48-72 months and who were actively participating in kindergarten education. The research results showed that the application of developmental stimulation had been carried out well in 51.2% of respondents. Children's developmental abilities, 62% of children have appropriate developmental abilities, 28.9% of children have doubtful developmental abilities and 9.1% of children have the possibility of deviations in their development. From the results of statistical tests using the chi square test, it was found that the value of p = 0.000 < α 0.05 was statistically significant, so there was a significant relationship between the application of child development stimulation to the developmental abilities of pre-school aged children.

Abstract

First The prevalence of tuberculosis shows a global increase, so a sustainable management strategy is needed. The peer group support approach provides a space for continuous interaction between peer educators and peer groups, which allows for more intensive information delivery to improve treatment adherence in tuberculosis patients. Purpose This systematic review aims to assess the effectiveness of peer group support interventions in improving treatment adherence in tuberculosis clients. Methods: A literature search was conducted using PRISMA guidelines, through several databases PubMed, Clinical Key, Science Direct, Proquest for articles published between 2020 and 2024. Results: Peer group support interventions have been shown to significantly improve treatment adherence in pulmonary tuberculosis clients. Social support from peer groups contributes significantly to strengthening client regularity in the therapy schedule. This approach is considered more effective because group members not only transfer knowledge gained from educators and personal experiences, but are also able to identify and resolve problems faced independently. Peer group support interventions have been proven effective in improving treatment adherence in tuberculosis clients.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major global health challenge, especially in countries with high disease burdens like Indonesia. Treatment non-adherence and reduced quality of life among TB patients continue to undermine control efforts. This systematic review seeks to explore how self-help group (SHG) interventions contribute to enhancing medication adherence and improving the quality of life (QoL) among individuals living with TB. A systematic review was followed the 2020 PRISMA guidelines. Comprehensive searches were performed across PubMed, Science Direct, ProQuest, Scopus, and Google Scholar using the PICO framework. Studies of various designs (RCTs, cohort, quasi-experimental, and cross-sectional) involving TB patients receiving SHG interventions were included. Eight eligible studies were critically appraised using the JBI checklist. Despite differences in design, participants, and SHG approaches such as patient education, motivation, emotional support, behavioral empowerment, and digital integration the studies consistently showed improvements in medication adherence and quality of life, supported by generally strong methodological quality. The findings highlight the importance of structured SHG models in nursing practice, supporting the development of community-based interventions and protocols that enhance TB treatment outcomes and patient well-being. Future studies should prioritize robust RCTs with diverse populations and long-term follow-up, including hybrid models that integrate digital technologies to ensure sustainable implementation in high-burden settings.
