The purpose of this study is to examine how work discipline and communication partially (t) or simultaneously (f) affect the performance of PT Savana Rattan Furniture employees. PT Savana Rattan Furniture employees are the subjects and population in this study. In this study, the sampling technique used was saturated sampling, which included all 100 employees. The method used to collect data for this study was a questionnaire, while the analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that work discipline has a significant positive effect on employee performance, as seen from the t-count being greater than the t-table 5.388>1.984, while organizational culture has a positive but insignificant effect, as seen from the t-count greater than the t-table 0.726<1.984. Simultaneously, the effect of the variables of work discipline and communication on employee performance is shown by F-count>F-table, namely 15.206 > 3.09. Partially, work discipline has a significance value of 0.000>0.05, communication has a significance value of 0.470>0.05, and simultaneously, work discipline and communication have a significance value of 0.000.

Abstract

The study entitled “The Influence of Career Self-Efficacy on Job Seeking Anxiety: The Mediating Role of AI Attitude and AI Literacy among Final-Year University Students” examines final-year students as the research object to understand psychological and technological factors influencing anxiety during the job search process. This study aims to analyze the impact of Career Self-Efficacy on Job Seeking Anxiety and to evaluate the mediating roles of AI Literacy and AI Attitude. A quantitative approach with a causal associative design was employed, involving 120 respondents who completed a structured questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results show that Career Self-Efficacy has a significant negative effect on Job Seeking Anxiety, while AI Literacy and AI Attitude also directly reduce anxiety related to job searching. However, neither AI Literacy nor AI Attitude mediates the relationship between Career Self-Efficacy and Job Seeking Anxiety, and no chain mediation effect was found. The study concludes that confidence in career-related abilities is the primary factor that decreases job-seeking anxiety, whereas AI Literacy and AI Attitude serve as supportive factors that contribute directly without acting as mediators.

Abstract

Background: In higher education, faculty loyalty is an important factor in institutional sustainability. However, loyalty is influenced not only by individual internal factors but also by organizational legitimacy and socially responsible practices. In addition, the role of social capital as a bridge between social relationships and trust is believed to have the potential to strengthen this influence. Objective: This study examines the direct and indirect effects of organizational legitimacy and social responsibility on employee loyalty and investigates social capital as a mediating variable in the context of higher education. Methods: This study collected data from 113 respondents, including faculty members and staff at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati, using an associative quantitative approach through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Results: Organizational legitimacy and social responsibility were shown to have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, both directly and indirectly through social capital. Furthermore, social capital was found to effectively mediate this relationship. Conclusion: Organizational legitimacy and social responsibility can be optimized through the strengthening of social capital. Therefore, university management needs to strengthen trust, cooperation, governance transparency, and the maintenance of high-quality human resources.
