Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah membuat model pemetaan pikiran dalam upaya menggali potensi desa. Kegiatan di awali dengan merumuskan masalah, menambahkan kajian teoritis, pengumpulan data dan penyampelan, analisis data dan penyimpulan teoritik. Dalam proses analisis dengan pengkodean terbuka, ditemukan banyak sekali potensi desa mulai dari laut hingga umur penduduk, kemudian pada pengkodean terporos, potensi-potensi tersebut ditentukan berdasarkan kategorinya yaitu fisik dan sosial. Adapun yang termasuk potensi fisik adalah laut, pesisir pantai, sungai, perkebunan, air terjun, dan cagar alam. Sedangkan yang termasuk potensi sosial adalah angka putus sekolah, jenis pekerjaan, kemiskinan, dan umur penduduk. Potensi yang disebutkan adalah contoh, Jika diekplorasi dan dibuat secara rinci maka akan lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims at Self Management Techniques for Students of the Communication Studies Program in preventing TikTok addiction at Dehasen University, Bengkulu. Analysis of self-management technique communication activities to prevent TikTok addiction is an effort to manage and control the use of the TikTok application in a healthy manner. Through self-management techniques, such as self-monitoring, self-rewarding, self-contracting, and self-control, individuals can develop self-awareness, set clear boundaries, manage strong urges, and devise alternative plans to prevent TikTok addiction. This study used qualitative research methods. Qualitative research methods are research methods used to research on natural object conditions, where researchers are key instructions, data collection techniques are carried out in a combined manner, data analysis is inductive and research results emphasize meaning rather than generalizations. The research results obtained are in this analysis, it is discussed how these communication activities can help individuals maintain a balanced use of TikTok, avoid addiction, and maintain their well-being. Through strong internal communication and consistent implementation of self-management techniques, individuals can develop better self-control in their use of TikTok and maintain balance in daily life.

Abstract

Kode Etik Kehumasan merupakan pedoman atau rambu-rambu berperilaku atau bersikap tindak bagi penyandang profesi Humas yang etis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Etika Humas Dinas Kominfo Dalam Menangani Permasalahan Jalan Rusak di Hibrida Kota Bengkulu. Alasan penulis melakukan penelitian ini agar penulis mengetahui Humas sudah bekerja sesuai dengan Kode Etik Kehumasan dan menerapkan etika yang baik saat berhadapan dengan masyarakat maupun atasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kualitatif dengan data dijabarkan secara deskriptif dengan teknik analisa data menggunakan teknik purposive  sampling. Teori penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kode Etik Kehumasan (Perhumas, 2020). Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa Humas Dinas Kominfo telah menerapkan etika yang baik saat menangani permasalahan jalan rusak di Hibrida Kota Bengkulu, Humas sudah berlaku jujur dalam menyampaikan informasi, hubungan antara Humas dengan atasan juga berjalan baik, dan komunikasi antar Humas dengan atasan juga berjalan dengan baik. Selain itu tidak ada Humas yang melakukan tindakan atau mengeluarkan ucapan yang merendahkan martabatnya, dan tidak ada Humas yang menerima bayaran dari pihak manapun selain dari atasanya sendiri. Serta Humas sudah memperhatikan masyarakat dengan menyampaikan keluhan tersebut kepada Walikota Bengkulu dan Humas dituntut untuk tidak terlibat diri dalam tindak memanipulasi integritas sarana maupun jalur komunikasi massa dan Humas dituntut untuk tidak memberikan informasi yang tidak benar terkhusus informasi mengenai permasalahan jalan rusak di Hibrida Kota Bengkulu. dan Humas juga harus selalu senantiasa membantu untuk kepentingan Indonesia. Perilaku yang sudah diterapkan oleh Humas ini termasuk didalam teori kode etik kehumasan (Perhumas, 2020) dalam pasal 2 dan pasal 3.

Abstract

Social media TikTok is a means of communication for today’s society. The content presented on TikTok varies, from positive to negative, so it reaps a lot of comments from netizens. Cyber harassment in this research is hate speech dissemination of news hoax artist death and netizen comments. This study aims to discuss hate speech spreading hoax news as a form of Online Gender-Based Violence and social interaction with netizens in the TikTok comments column. The data sources come from comments from TikTok users while the data collection techniques are through observation, documentation, and literature studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using social identity theory. The findings in the study showed three forms of online gender-based violence. First, the slanderous hate speech of the account owner for the victim. Second, hate speech netizens ridicule and annoyance for the account owner with language style satire. Third, hate speech netizen humiliation and dropping of social identity for victims with sarcasm style. Netizens interact through the comments column with their group identity and the communication encountered is the use of non-standar language. Form of violence such as anger, annoyance, curiosity, and even humiliation. The solution offered apply ethics, morals, and empathy in social media.

Abstract

TikTok is a media to promote product at social media by using creative and interesting content. This research purpose is to find out TikTok as creative media by content creator in promoting product, this research is qualitative research. The theory which used in this research is about marketing mix according to Rangkuti (2009) which involves advertising, sales promotion, personal selling and direct marketing. The result of this research shows that TikTok as creative media by content creator. From TikTok account @enny_230221 who has succeeded in promoting corn ice product by using five marketing mix, the selling is by using content video. The user also active in responding the comment positively. The personal selling is conducted directly while selling the corn ice at the location. While the direct marketing, the user uses comment and direct message feature to communicate directly with audience. Marketing mix has been done by Eni Lestari totally and succeed. It can be seen from the positive comment from customer can give positive influence such as increase the selling every day. The TikTok account @enny_230221 has implement marketing mix strategy very well.

Abstract

Research purposes Indonesia, as an archipelagic country with vast cultural diversity, possesses various cultural heritages influenced by many civilizations. Traditional clothing, such as the kebaya, serves as an important symbol of local identity and culture. The film "Gadis Kretek," adapted from a novel by Ratih Kumala, depicts the social realities and struggles of women in the Javanese kretek industry, highlighting traditional kebaya attire as a central element. This research aims to examine the representation of the Javanese kebaya on women in the series "Gadis Kretek" through John Fiske's semiotic analysis. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through observation, documentation, and internet searching. The focus of this research is on the first episode of the series. Analysis is conducted on three levels: reality, representation, and ideology. At the reality level, the film portrays life from the colonial era to the independence period with the use of traditional costumes, realistic dialogues, and character behaviors. At the representation level, cinematic techniques such as narration, cinematography, and editing are utilized to construct this reality. At the ideological level, the film conveys values regarding the role of women in the industry, social critique of workers' conditions, and the importance of culture and tradition. The research findings indicate that the film "Gadis Kretek" not only presents an engaging story but also depicts historical realities, reinforces the narrative through cinematic elements, and delivers ideological messages about women's struggles and the significance of cultural heritage. This study is expected to provide insights into cultural representation in mass media and strengthen national cultural identity through the Javanese kebaya.

Abstract

The method used in this research uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were the Head Office of Basarnas Bengkulu, the operations sub-section and Public Relations staff of Basarnas Bengkulu. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. This study aims to find out the News Accuracy technique by the Public Relations of Basarnas Bengkulu. This research focuses on news accuracy by the Public Relations of Basarnas Bengkulu in obtaining information related to a case/disaster. The results showed that the News Accuracy Technique by the Public Relations of Basarnas Bengkulu can be implemented by conducting Fact Verification and Eyewitnesses as follows: 1. Fact Verification is that the fact verification process is very important in ensuring the truth and reliability of information conveyed to the public. In the context of Basarnas operations, where the delivery of precise and accurate information can have a direct impact on the safety and security of the public, verification of facts becomes the main foundation in the preparation of news. 2. Eyewitnesses i.e. in the news delivery process direct testimony from individuals who were at the scene of the incident provides valuable perspectives and details that cannot be obtained from other sources. By considering eyewitness accounts, Basarnas can supplement the information they receive and ensure the accuracy of the news delivered to the public.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the media relations strategy carried out by PT Angkasa Pura II at Fatmawati Bengkulu Airport in fostering good relations with the media. This research uses the Four-step Public Relations Process theory by taking the six media PR strategies proposed by Frank Jefkins. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this research can be concluded that PT. Angkasa Pura II at Fatmawati Bengkulu Airport in building good relations with the media, namely carrying out various activities such as invitations for coverage at the airport terminal, media visits and providing a wifi network for the media. Apart from that, there are obstacles, namely the large number of media who find it difficult to attend the activities being held.

Abstract

Village tourism serves as a community-based development strategy that plays a vital role in driving social, cultural, and economic transformation. This study aims to analyze digital communication strategies and creative entrepreneurship in strengthening the branding of Rama Agung Village as “Mini Bali.” Using a qualitative case study design conducted between July and September 2025, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation review. The results reveal that digital communication through social media, websites, and documentary films effectively shapes destination image and increases youth participation. Creative entrepreneurship through local MSMEs such as MP Jewellery, Sabunne Chris, and traditional handicrafts further strengthens cultural identity and economic independence. Collaboration between students, lecturers, the Papida Rama Agung Tourism Awareness Group, and the village government produces innovative branding rooted in local wisdom, religiosity, and economic creativity. The study concludes that the synergy between digital communication and creative entrepreneurship enhances community empowerment and boosts the competitiveness of rural tourism in the digital era.   Pariwisata berbasis desa merupakan salah satu strategi pembangunan partisipatif yang mampu mendorong perubahan sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi komunikasi digital dan kewirausahaan kreatif dalam proses branding Desa Rama Agung sebagai “Mini Bali”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, dilaksanakan pada periode Juli hingga September 2025. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala desa, ketua Pokdarwis Papida Rama Agung, serta pelaku UMKM seperti MP Jewelry dan Sabun Eco-Enzyme Chris, disertai observasi partisipatif dan telaah dokumentasi.Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan oleh mahasiswa dan dosen Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi digital masyarakat. Pemanfaatan berbagai platform digital seperti media sosial, situs web, dan video kreatif terbukti efektif dalam membangun citra destinasi wisata yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai budaya dan spiritual lokal. Sementara itu, penguatan kewirausahaan kreatif berbasis produk lokal turut mendukung pembentukan identitas budaya sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan pelaku UMKM.Sinergi antara pemerintah desa, komunitas, dan akademisi menghasilkan model branding desa wisata yang berkelanjutan dan berbasis pada narasi digital yang autentik, kolaboratif, serta berorientasi pada daya saing. Kesimpulannya, integrasi strategi komunikasi digital dan kewirausahaan kreatif menjadi faktor kunci dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat serta peningkatan daya saing desa wisata di era digital.
