Abstract

Abstract. At PT. Cahaya Bumi Perdana, there is a slope with a height of about ± 30 m with a slope of 710 on the slope there are two types of slope-forming material that are in 1 bench, namely soil and rock material that is likely to occur landslides, with the slope conditions potentially endangering workers and hindering production. Based on the data from the physical and mechanical properties of sandstone rock, the original bulk density value was 8.024 KN / m3, the saturated weight value was 16.016 KN / m3, the dry weight value was 5.005 KN / m3, cohesion (c) = 0.0059 Mpa and the inner angle of shear. (ϕ) = 63,808 °. The analysis of the value of the safety factor (FK) and the recommendation of the actual slope geometry used the janbusimplified method with a height of 33m and a slope of 65˚ so that the FK obtained was 1.427. For geometric recommendations for slopes in a saturated state using the Janbu simplified method with a height of 33m and a slope of 65˚, the FK obtained is 1.317. From the value of the safety factor (FK) the recommendations obtained can be concluded that the slopes are stable.Keyword: Physical and Mechanical Properties of Rocks, Slope Geometry, Janbu Simplified, Safety Factors

Abstract

Abstract. Based on observations made on the slopes in the THC 04 CV. Tahiti Coal, found rock slope which has a height of 30 meters, slope angle is 80° and has many weak plane structures that can cause landslides. Therefore it is necessary to analyze the rock mass and the stability of the slope. From the analysis that has been done, the rock mass classification value is 53, with medium quality and safety factor value at saturation condition is 1,141, original condition is 1,380, dry condition is 1,443. So it can be concluded that the slope condition is stable, except when saturated. Therefore, improvements need to be made in the form of reducing the slope angle to 66º and 67°, so that the value of the saturated slope safety factor changes to 1.256.Keywords: Open pit, slope, landslide, rock mass, safety factor.

Abstract

Abstract. Natural disasters are disasters caused by the event or series of events due to nature. Natural disasters in recent years are very common and need preparedness, awareness and vigilance in the face of disaster, especially in the city of Solok, starting from earthquakes, landslides and so forth.Yet there is no socialization of natural disasters and disaster preparedness in SMA N 2 kota Solok so that students do not have the knowledge to mitigation and preparedness of natural disasters make the executor to conduct socialization mitigation and natural disaster preparedness to them.So that the participants in this case students understand about how to mitigate and preparedness natural disasters. The socialization is given in the form of lectures, discussions, and field practices.After the socialization was obtained increased knowledge about the mitigation of natural disasters by the students SMAN 2 Kota Solok. At pre-training (prior to training) only 71% of students who understand about mitigation and preparedness and at post-training increased to 100% of students understand the mitigation of natural disasters.Keywords: Disaster management Natural disasters, , mitigation and preparedness

Abstract

PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk. Bangka Marine Unit is a unit of production of PT.Timah (Persero) Tbk. which conduct mining using Dredger and Cutter Suction,one of them using the KIP TIMAH 14 operating in Tempilang Sea.This research is based on the ISO 50001 and Energy PerformanceManagement, namely by looking at the rate of fuel (HSD) consumption towardKIP Timah 14’s production, to attempt efficiency, and to make daily consumptionfunctions of HSD. Attempt efficiency is to examine two issues, the use of rightunderwater machine (Mineral Dressing Installation Activator) and excavationmethod (excavation volume reduction). From observations in the field, during theoperation of KIP Timah 14 found frequent damages in mineral dressinginstallation and excavations are not effective. From the problems above so thatattempted Efficiency by reducing the volume of excavation is not required anddoes not operate the right underwater mechine when digging overburden.After the efforts of efficiency obtained, HSD consumption savings aboutRp.536,721,972.70 in November 2014, Rp.792,734,317.80 in December 2014, andRp.644,841,956.40 in January 2015. The efforts of effeciency feasible to do inorder to suppress the mining operating costs.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. MsPS is one of the companies engaged in the field of andesite mining located in Kampung Lubuk Rasan, District IV Jurai, Pesisir Selatan District, West Sumatra Province. Initial slope geometry has an overall slope height of 30 m with a slope of 50 and a single slope with a height of 10 m with a slope of 63. Clay data: Unit Weight (γ) = 15.97 kN / m3, Cohesion (c ') = 42.01 kN / m2 and inner shear angle (ϕ') = 40.36 °. Whereas with the method FK can obtain overall slope slope FK in saturated conditions of 0.573 and single slope in can FK slope in saturated conditions of 1,092.. Then the slope geometry was changed with a height of 30 meters with an overall slope of 31 and a single slope with a height of 7.5 m with an angle of 40 .Overall slope FK is obtained with an overall slope of 1,283 and single slope the 2,719 FK is obtained. By using the janbu method, the overall slope FK is obtained in the saturation condition of 1.095 and in a single slope the 2,575 slope after changing the geometry the slope using bishop method, the slope is safe.Keywords: initial geometry, simplified bishop, simplified janbu, safety factor.

Abstract

CV. Bara Mitra Kencana is a company engaged in mining and has invested in the city of Sawahlunto. The mineral that has been mined is coal. Administratively, the location of the Exploitation KP is in Tanah Kuning, Batu Tanjung Village, Talawi District, Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra Province with an area of 70.53 hectares. The results of the study were landslides that occurred in the CV area. Bara Mitra Kencana-14 is a planar sliding with a landslide rate of 85% in the direction of the N87oE/44o landslide. Therefore a recommendation for a single slope with a height of 35 m and an initial slope of 80o is changed to a slope of 64o and the safety factor (FK) in the natural state is 1.403 and the safety factor (FK) in saturated conditions is 1.260 and the factor of safety (FK) in the natural state is 1.403. safety (FK) in dry conditions is 1.509 and the slope is said to be in relatively safe conditions.

Abstract

Abstract. PT.Tambang Bukit Tambi is a company that will plan coal mining in Semambu Village, Sumay Subdistrict, Tebo District, an investment analysis and economic feasibility of the mine are needed to see the prospect of coal reserves in that location. Reference to the preparation of the economic model used is based on investment costs, production costs, and revenues from coal sales.To consider this, an economic feasibility analysis is needed. The parameters used to determine the economic feasibility of the coal production plan of PT. Tambang Bukit Tambi is Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) , Payback Period (PBP).The total reserves in pit 4 PT. Tambang Bukit Tambi is 240.000 tons, with an overburden volume of 20.000bcm .Based on the amount of available reserves for coal getting and stripping activities OB, the number of loading and unloading equipment and transportation planned up to 2024 is 1 unit of Excavator Komatsu PC 400 and 3 units of Dump Truck Komatsu 220 and for 2025 until 2033 for coal getting and stripping activities OB is needed tool transport of 4 units of Articulated Dump Truck Volvo A40E .The results of the investment analysis of the feasibility of the mining plan of PT. Tambang Bukit Tambi gets total numbers the profit earned is. The feasibility of mining investment plans is obtained by a positive NPV of Rp. 455.157.523.160,00, an IRR value of 31,4 % with a MARR 6.5% and a payback period obtained at 3.002 years.Keywords: feasibility, invesment, NPV, IRR, Payback Period

Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam – UPO is one of coal underground mining which conduct mine activity in Ombilin I (Sawahluwung), Ombilin II (Waringin-Sugar) and Ombilin III ( Sigalut). At underground mining, ventilation system is really important for human’s breathing need (worker), to netralize toxic gases, reduce ash concentration and control temperature . Ventilation system in Sawah Luwung underground mining used suction system with 32,76 m3/second air out quantity, while for air in is 32,33 m3/s through three in pit such as  Adit Sawahluwung amount of 23,32 m3/s, Lurah Sapan I 6,81 m3/s and 2,28 m3/s in Lurah Sapan II. The difference of quantity of air in with air out is 0,43 m3/s which possible  caused by adding air in in Mine Vein. The actual air temperature at work/production J14C front area is 26oC and 27oC for front J15C. Air Temperature decreasing is been done with two method such as putting ice in and out of thermos bottle. For thermos bottle trial it is conducted the number of air temperature decreasing in Front J15C is about 2,5oC – 3oC, while for front J14C is conducted 2oC – 2,5oC. Meanwhile  without thermos bottle trial (putting ice in open section), temperature decreasing is 3oC – 3,5oC, and also 3oC  in front J14. The result of air temperature decreasing between front J15C and J14C are different, which caused by the difference of duct length and the duct length in J15C is 15 meters and for J14C is 71 meters length. Based on this research, the tenacity of ice is 3 – 3,5 hours.

Semen Padang owned by the unions, located at Indarung Padang,West Sumatera The hour barriers based on report operations tool tools digging and hauling of period may 2017 PT Semen Padang. that is, digger  tool  7,15 hours and hauler tools 7,46. Based on the study of the hour 4,2 hours. PT. Semen Padang Target of production and realization at a Eksisitng 206 may 2017 year the target of 320 Ton/hour for 1 unit of dump trucks, based on the analysis of the realized 282,31 Tons/hour, while based on the study of the production of obtained 363,58 tons/hour. Based on observations in field, conditions of work and the front area dumping still experiencing queue. The availability of tools and tool unloading hauler at a area 206 existing excavators serve the 6 units of dump trucks. Match factor of actual field is 1,18. Based on a review of the results of the productivity gained 1 unit excavators serve the 5 units of dump trucks and based on the theory of queues device used tool transport 5 units of dump trucks. As for the correction factor in the match after having examined 0,99 or close to 1.Keywords: Abstract. PT. Abstract

Spontaneous combustion problems are often almost ignored, one of which occurred in ROM stockpile at PT. Prima Dito Nusantara (PDN) which is an important issue in the coal mine. Some of the factors that cause the occurrence of spontaneous combustion at the company was the lack of stockpile management such as the length of the stockpiling of coal, compaction method of the coal piles on a less good, there has been no temperature measurement of the coal piles, and a lack of prevention efforts as well as handling against spontaneous combustion. To find out when the estimated occurrence of spontaneous combustion then do the measurement temperature of the coal pile periodically by measurement point temperature on compaction with Excavator and compaction with Bulldozer. Measurement results showed on compaction with Excavator faster occurs spontaneous combustion symptoms when compared with compaction with Bulldozer. Where in compacting with the Excavator can be estimated to occur in week-9 with highest median temperature 42,22°C, compacting with Bulldozer can be estimated in week-15 with highest median temperature 39,10°C. Therefore, compaction with Bulldozer better applied than compacting with Excavator to reduce the occurrence of symptoms of spontaneous combustion of the coal piles at ROM stockpile. Keywords: Spontaneous Combustion, Stockpile Management, Excavator, Bulldozer, Temperature.
