Abstract

Abstrack Based on the production data limestone minning at existing area of PT. Semen Padang in January-February 2018, limestone mining production did not reach the target. This is due to the low productivity of the dumptruck. To find out the improvement potential of a production process and the effectiveness of using equipment, it is necessary to do an analysis using the Quality Control Circle (QCC) method. After knowing the root of the problem, ideas for improvement are given to obstacles so that production can be achieved. After doing the analysis and improvement with these methods, the production of the komatsu HD 785-7 dumptruck exceeded the planned target. However, for the values of PA, MA, UA and EU, each conveyance is still < 85% has not yet reached the optimal world class value that is > 85%, it can be concluded that the condition of the equipment is not good. Abstract

Abstarct. Indonesia has abundant natural resources, one of which is iron ore. Iron ore is abundant in the islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, and in several parts of eastern Indonesia. Iron ore is a major mining product in Indonesia, according to the Central Statistics Agency (2016), Indonesia's iron ore production in 2013 was 22,353,337 tons and in 2014 it was 5,951,400 tons. Whether we realize it or not, mining is a very strategic and important sector in supporting Indonesia's economic growth. This research was conducted in the Jorong Pulakek area, Sungai Pagu District, South Solok Regency. The method used in this study was Inverse Distance Weigthed (IDW). In this study, several iron ore exploration activities were carried out including; initial investigation of iron ore (survey and mapping of sampling sites) using GPS with a research area of ± 1300 meters, sampling at several research points ( 10 points) with the characteristics of selecting samples by drilling, then for the distance between sampling points by means of drilling is  10 meters to 15 meters. The spread of iron ore produced by Inverse Distance Wighted estimation using Arcgis shows a filled contour scale which indicates the grade value for each color based on the element, the lowest value is shown in green with a scale value of 8.609-9.89% and the highest value is shown in red. with a scale value of 19.5-21.35%, based on geology the lowest value is shown in green with a scale value of 4.48-5.52% and the highest value is shown in red with a scale value of 12.14-13.1% and based on Oxides the lowest value is shown in green with a scale value of 4.46-5.49% and the highest value is shown in red with a scale value of 12.03-12.98%. The quality of Iron Ore Fe ¬2O3 using XRF tools obtained an average level seen from Element 14.34%, from geology 8.04% and Oxide 7.98%. The results of the mapping of iron ore by quality are of high value and are sustainable.Keywords:.IDW, Bijih Besi, Mapping

Abstract

Abstract.PT. Artamulia Tatapratama (PT. ATP) is a coal mining company with a surface mining system. As a result of not achieving the production target where one of the causes is the condition of the haul road, it is necessary to evaluate and improve the road. In this study, the geometry evaluation of the road will use the 1993 AASHTO.Based on the results of road geometry evaluation, the results obtained as follows: the actual straight road width is between 13-30 m while the theoretical road width should be 21.7 m. Actual road grades from Pit to disposal ranging from 2.47% to 11.30%. Cross slope from Pit to disposal is 440 mm / m. Superelevation figures of 26.88 meters curved is 0.04. So that the height difference between the inner and outer sides of the bend that must be made is 1.07 m. Actual productivity before road repair using a dump truck is Hitachi EH 1700 on average 98,309 BCM / Hour. Productivity has not reached the production target set by PT. Artamulia Tatapratama is 114 BCM / hour. As for productivity after road improvement 118,231 BCM / hour. The productivity has met the production target set by PT. Abstract

Abstrack. Based on the production data of overburden stripping in bloc B PT.Minemex Indonesi in maret 2018, overburden stripping production did not reach the target. To find out the improvement potential of a production process and the effectiveness of using equipment, it is necessary to do an analysis using the OEE method. OEE is known as one of the applications of total productive maintenance programs that have the ability to clearly identify the root of the problem and its causal factors to make the improvement effort to be more focused. After knowing the root of the problem, multiple linear regression statistical analysis is used to determine the relationship and the maximum limits of the obstacles so that the production can be achieved. The fishbone method is then used to find more detailed of the root problems and evaluate them by referring to the results of the multiple linear regression statistical analysis that has been obtained. However, the OEE value of each excavator still <85% and has not reached the world-class OEE value> 85%, it can be concluded that the condition of the equipment is not good. Abstract. The process of loading and transporting limestone at PT. Semen Padang from the mining front towards crusher using a combination of mining equipment Excavator Caterpillar 6030 BH and Dump Truck Komatshu 785. Based on company data, target productions of limestone estimate 900.000 ton/month. In reality in fact of first three month of 2018 were 2.2 million ton, in January were 768.321 ton, February were 748.252 ton, and in March were 759.636 ton. This study chosees whether to buy or rent an equipment that is more effectively used in limestone mining by using ecomomic analysis Present Worth Cost (PWC) and Future Worth Cost (FWC) in terms of the smallest costs used. Differences in costs incurred between the cost of buying and renting equipment after doing calculations with analysis Present Worth Cost (PWC) and Future Worth Cost (FWC) for one loading unit Excavator Cat 6030, PWC= Rp. 47.931.918.250 and FWC= Rp. 57.172.394.270, while for two units of transportation Komatsu HD 785, PWC= Rp. 16.785.906.482 and FWC= Rp. 1.157.760.340. The results of calculations using analysis Present Worth Cost (PWC) and Future Worth Cost (FWC) then the alternative that will be chosen is to rent an equipment, due the purchase cost is bigger than the rental fee. Abstract. Natural disasters in recent years are very common and need preparedness, awareness and vigilance in the face of disaster, especially in the city of Solok, starting from earthquakes, landslides and other. To reduce the risk of disaster management is required in accordance with law number 24 year 2007 about disaster management.The absence of disaster mitigation training provided for students in particular SMA N 3 Solok and less optimal students ' role/young generation in disaster mitigation because students have not had the knowledge to mitigate make the dedication to conduct training mitigation and preparedness of disaster to them so that the participants understand about how mitigation and preparedness. This training is provided in the form of lectures, discussions, and field practices.After training was obtained the increase of knowledge about the mitigation of natural disasters by the students SMAN 3 Solok. Abstract

PT. Aro Suka Mandiri is a company engaged in the mining of Iron Ore which is located in Batang Pamo Village, IX Koto District, Sungai Lasi, Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province. PT. Aro Suka Mandiri made roads on the hillside by dividing the ridge using an excavator. The actual geometry in the field has an overal slop slope height of 21.497 m with a slope of 68 ° and the actual slope FK value in saturated conditions is 0.962. With the slope and steep road heights as well as the maximum range of excavator digging length, it is not efficient to carry out a road construction system on a slope with a single slope design. This study aims to plan the geometry of the overal slope to obtain a safe slope FK value of 1.3 This research was conducted using the bishop method to obtain the FK value of the overal slope slopes. The actual slope geometry was changed, for the overall slope height of 21.497 m with an angle of 58˚ so that the FK value was 1.325. Furthermore, the slope modification is carried out by making a bend on the slope using the bishop method and the FK value for the overall slope in saturated conditions is 1.316. From the data analysis, the results obtained for single slope 1 with a height of 10.008 obtained FK in a saturated condition of 1,701, while for single slope 2 a height of 11.489 obtained FK in a saturated condition of 2,176. So it can be concluded that after redesigning the slope geometry using the bishop method the slope can be stated in a safe condition.                                                                                                                           Keywords: initial geometry, simplified bishop, simplified janbu, safety factor

Abstract. Overburden removal production at PT. Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama jobsite                PT. Kideco Jaya Agung uses large excavators that is Caterpillar 6020B and Komatsu PC2000. The average actual productivity at 07:00 - 08:00 a.m. on February 2019 at Pit AB RTS (Roto South) for one Caterpillar 6020B is 777 bcm/hour has not reached the target of 793 bcm/hour and five Komatsu PC2000 is 647 bcm/hour has not reached the target of 662 bcm/hour. Failure to achieve productivity targets due to obstacles after delay shift change. The excavators studied were Komatsu PC2000-07, PC2000-21, and PC2000-25 which had the most productivity not achieved. Standby hours affect work efficiency based on the theoretical formula of excavator productivity. Efforts are made to improve the work efficiency of excavators by looking at the root problems in the fishbone diagram and analyzing them so that they can be improvised solutions in increasing work efficiency. Factor of humans and methods is the most dominant factor causing productivity at 07:00 - 08:00 a.m. is not achieved. The amount of time is ineffective due to personal activities by the operator and the absence of control from the supervisor over the regulation of the number of haulers after delay shift change.

Abstract

One of few factors that should watch over in open pit mining is geotechnical on rocks lithology in mining area. Since designing of slope geometry there are many factors so thus factors must be input as a parameter to determine slope stability.The type of dominant failures occur in Muara Tiga Besar Area are wedge and planar sliding which caused by discontinuity and sheer slope orientation. This research used stereographic method to determine type and aim of failure based on discontinuity and slope orientation. Stereographic analyses result will conduct and optimal slope angle. Furthermore modeling simulation will be done for single and overall slope to determine its geometry and factor of safety based on geotechnical data such as cohesion and friction angle for each materials.Based on stereographic analysis to overburden A1 single slope angle are conducted 41o , 40o, 42o, 39o, and for lower C is conducted 41o, 42o, 41o, and 42o. in order to get an optimal single slope then it must be conducted from simulation and the result for overburden A1 is 47o as optimal slope angle with factor of safety amount of 1.302 for saturated condition and dry condition 1.727 and for lower C the result of optimal slope angle is 43o, whose factor of safety is 1.305 for saturated condition and 1.886 for dry condition. Afterwards modeling simulation is been done to overall slope in A-A’ and B-B’ section. Factor of safety in highwall area is 1.323 with 27.4o overall slope angle and 155 meters high. In other hands, factor of safety in lowwall area is 1.318 with 25.2o overall slope angle and 192 meters high.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted at PT Bumi Hijau Citra Andalas site Batuhampar Akabiluru district fifty district cities. In this study, the method used is descriptive method that is a research method that evaluates the condition of the object as it is in a situation that is being the object of research. This research is more focused on pozolan quality analysis by testing sambal in the laboratory using XRF with a total sample of 7 sampling points (description of sampling by drilling)After being analyzed, it can be concluded that the average values of (Fe2O3), (SiO2), (Al2O3) obtained in the polls of laboratory test results using XRF are (2.590%), (70.107%), (14.297%) In this test, all of the samples analyzed almost all met the standard according to ASTM C618-92a, only 1 sample did not meet the standard so that when examined in quality the pozolan really met the ASTM C618-92a standard, therefore it was seen in quantity, pozolan resources exist in the area is very potential.Keywords: Pozolan, Kab. 50 cities, Quality Analysis, Cement Raw Materials
