Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Implementation of Free Campus Independent Learning (MBKM) in the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Department of PGRI Silampari University. The method used is a survey by distributing questionnaires. Respondents in this study were 173 students of the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Department at PGRI Silampari University, which consisted of the Study Programs for Mathematics Education, Physics Education and Biology Education. The results showed that as many as 68.2% of students strongly agreed that the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Department had MBKM activities; 98.8% are interested in participating in MBKM activities; and apprenticeship/practice activities are activities that students are most interested in (29.5%); and 100% of MIPA Department students think that the MBKM program provides additional competencies for students according to future needs and can improve student soft-skills. In conclusion, the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Department of PGRI Silampari University has carried out MBKM activities that can provide additional competencies for students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the completeness of social studies learning outcomes after applying the Make A Match type of cooperative learning model in social studies subjects for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jambu Rejo. The type of research used is Experiment. The research population was all fourth graders of SD Negeri 1 Jambu Rejo, totaling 22 students. Sample selection was done by saturated sampling technique. The sample taken by all fourth graders of SD Negeri 1 Jambu Rejo totaled 22 students and was taught using the Make A Match type of cooperative learning model. The research method used is a quasi-experimental. The data collection technique used a test in the form of essay questions. The data obtained were analyzed using the z-test. Based on the results of the study obtained an average value of 78.33. The results of the z-test analysis obtained > which is 9.92 > 1.64, which indicates that is rejected and is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the social studies learning outcomes of fourth graders of SD Negeri 1 Jambu Rejo after using the Make A Match Cooperative Learning Model are significantly complete. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis activity was motivated by income problem in community of Taba Remanik Village which is based on the agricultural sector where prices fluctuate. So that the family economy becomes weak. The partner regions are regions that have another commodity than rubber, namely: kabau. The kabau utilization in the partner regions has not been optimized. Therefore, partners especially PKK mothers, need to be equipped with the knowledge to utilize kabau so that it has high economic value. One of the method that can be used is to process the kabau into processed crackers. This service activity consists of 4 steps, namely: observation, delivery of material, practice of making crackers and monitoring evaluation. The material presented at the service activities are: Introduction of kabau, the nutritional content of kabau, the benefits of kabau and the practice of making kabau crackers. The community service activities in Taba Remanik Village went well and the community was very enthusiastic. The result of community service activities is that the community is able to practice how to make kabau crackers properly. Keywords: Taba Remanik, Kabau, Crackers ABSTRAKKegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah penghasilan pada masyarakat Desa Taba Remanik yang bertumpu pada sektor pertanian dimana harga fluktuatif. Sehingga perekonomian keluarga menjadi lemah. Daerah mitra merupakan daerah yang memiliki komoditas sampingan selain karet, yaitu: kabau. Pemanfaatan buah kabau di daerah mitra belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, mitra terutama ibu-ibu PKK perlu dibekali pengetahuan untuk memanfaatkan buah kabau agar bernilai ekonomis tinggi.  Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan yaitu mengolah buah kabau menjadi olahan kerupuk. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu: observasi, penyampaian materi, praktek pembuatan kerupuk dan monitoring evaluasi. Materi yang disampaikan pada kegiatan pengabdian tersebut yaitu: Pengenalan buah kabau, kandungan gizi buah kabau, manfaat buah kabau dan praktek pembuatan kerupuk buah kabau. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan di Desa Taba Remanik berjalan dengan baik dan masyarakat sangat antusias. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat mampu mempraktekkan cara membuat kerupuk buah kabau dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Taba Remanik, Kabau, Kerupuk

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Teka Teki Silang pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas V SD Negeri Model 54 kota Lubuklinggau yang valid dan praktis. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE dengan 5 tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil media pembelajaran Teka teki silang ini melalui uji kevalidan yaitu uji validasi ahli bahasa, materi dan media memperoleh nilai yang dikategorikan “Valid” dan uji kepraktisan dengan guru dan 12 siswa kelas V memperoleh nilai yang dikategorikan “Sangat Praktis”. Jadi dapat disimpulkan media pembelajaran Teka teki silang pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas V yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' responses after implementing biology learning on the pH scale material using the Physics Education Technology (PhET) Simulation. The method used was a survey by distributing questionnaires to 15 Biology Education students at Universitas PGRI Silampari, Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra Province, who had studied pH scale measurement material using the PhET Simulation. The questionnaire included several indicators: students' interest, benefits, display, and usability of PhET, divided into six statements. The results showed that 86.7% of students strongly agreed that learning using PhET was very interesting, 53.3% of students strongly agreed that PhET motivated and facilitated learning the pH scale, 60% of students strongly agreed that PhET made it easier to understand the pH scale material, and 53.3% of students strongly agreed that the PhET Simulation was easy to understand and its animation design and text met students' needs. In conclusion, the PhET Simulation is very engaging, motivates learning, facilitates material learning, eases material understanding, is easy to use, and its animation design and text align with students' needs. Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia due to impaired insulin secretion or action. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Etlingera hemisphaerica fruit extract on reducing blood glucose levels in male Swiss Webster Mus musculus induced with 10% sugar solution. This experimental research employed a completely randomized design. A total of 25 male Mus musculus were divided into five groups: a negative control group (no treatment) and four treatment groups receiving Etlingera hemisphaerica fruit extract at doses of 0.13 mg/kgBW, 0.26 mg/kgBW, 0.38 mg/kgBW, and Glibenclamide. Blood glucose levels were measured using a glucometer before and after 17 days of treatment. The results showed that the administration of Etlingera hemisphaerica fruit extract significantly reduced blood glucose levels in the treatment groups compared to the positive control group (p<0.05). The dose of 0.13 mg/kgBW exhibited the most optimal blood glucose-lowering effect. This hypoglycemic effect is associated with the flavonoid content in the fruit extract, which enhances insulin sensitivity and reduces oxidative stress.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of developing teaching modules for the reproductive system integrated with project-based learning. The research method uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach, focusing on the needs analysis stage through interviews, observations, and documentation. The needs analysis stage aims to identify existing learning gaps, teacher needs, and student expectations of teaching modules. This research was conducted in class XI B1 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau, involving teachers and students as research subjects. The results showed that teachers need teaching materials that are more varied, contextual, and able to improve students' thinking skills to be used as teaching alternatives on human reproductive system material. Learners need creative, interesting teaching materials and activities that support the development of personal and social skills. Thus, the teaching module of the reproductive system integrated with the project-based learning model can be an alternative to assist the learning process in improving students' creative thinking skills. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan modul ajar sistem reproduksi terintegrasi model project based learning. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D), dengan fokus pada tahap analisis kebutuhan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Tahap analisis kebutuhan bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan pembelajaran yang ada, kebutuhan guru, serta harapan peserta didik terhadap modul ajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melibatkan 2 guru Biologi dan 34 peserta didik kelas XI B1 SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru membutuhkan bahan ajar yang lebih variatif, kontekstual, dan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir peserta didik untuk digunakan sebagai alternatif pengajaran pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Peserta didik membutuhkan bahan ajar yang kreatif, menarik, dan aktivitas yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan personal dan sosialnya. Dengan demikian, modul ajar sistem reproduksi terintegrasi model project based learning dapat menjadi alternatif untuk membantu proses pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.

Abstract

Pembelajaran pada kurikulum saat ini menuntut guru untuk memahami, mengenali, dan mampu menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan kurikulum yang ada. Salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi di 3 Sekolah SDN Terawas yaitu keterbatasan kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum saat ini. Tujuan program pengadian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk melakukan pendampingan pelatihan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sebagai implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SDN Keamatan Terawas. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan drill practice. Tahapan kegiatan diawali dengan penyampaian materi tentang kurikulum merdeka, pembelajaran diferensiasi terkait gaya belajar siswa, dan pelatihan pembuatan raport pendidikan. Hasil dari kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini guru-guru di SDN Terawas, yaitu 1)  Respon guru dan Kepala Sekolah terhadap pelaksanaan PKM di Kecamatan Terawas rata-rata 4,475 masuk dalam kategori Baik; 2) hasil persepsi guru terhadap pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yaitu 4,16% yaitu kategori Baik; 3) Persentase Media pembelajaran apa yang guru-guru gunakan dalam pembelajaran yaitu 77% dari buku, 3% multimedia, 4,1% media video, powerpoint 4% dan 12,2% media gambar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran kimia pada materi asam-basa dengan pendekatan Project Based Learning (PjBL). Untuk menunjang proses pengembangan, dilakukan studi awal yang mencakup kajian literatur dan observasi langsung di lapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Alat pengumpulan data terdiri atas panduan wawancara untuk menggali kebutuhan guru dan angket untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan peserta didik, indikator instrument berupa metode pembelajaran, bahan ajar, modul dan model pembelajaran. Tujuan dari analisis kebutuhan ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis bahan ajar yang digunakan guru, hambatan yang dihadapi dalam proses belajar mengajar, serta jenis bahan ajar yang dibutuhkan oleh siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari 38 peserta didik kelas XI.B2 SMA Negeri 1 Kota Lubuklinggau, diketahui bahwa sebanyak 50% siswa hanya memiliki satu buku kimia untuk dua orang, dan 94,7% menyatakan bahwa topik Asam-Basa dalam buku tersebut sulit dimengerti. Selain itu, 50% siswa menilai bahwa buku pegangan yang ada belum mencukupi sebagai sumber belajar, 89,5% menyatakan perlunya tambahan bahan ajar, dan 92,1% menginginkan bahan ajar yang dapat mendukung peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi serta kerja sama. Temuan ini memperoleh pentingnya pengembangan modul pembelajaran kimia berbasis Project Based Learning pada materi asam-basa. Manfaat modul yang dikembangkan sebagai bahan ajar tambahan yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dan peserta didik yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan minat belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a STEAM-based homeostatic module to improve students' cognitive abilities. The subjects of this research were students of the Biology Education Study Program at PGRI Silampari University. In the learning process, students are given an assignment in the form of a project to test honje fruit extract (Etlingera hemisphaerica) as antihyperglycemia, antihypercholesterolemia and antihyperuricemia. Module development uses a 4D development model, with define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The instruments in the research are validation questionnaires for material experts, media experts, language experts, response questionnaires and evaluation test sheets. The research results showed that the module developed contained steam elements and was assessed as appropriate by material expert validators with a v-aiken value of 0.91, media experts 0.91 and language experts 0.88. Student responses to the module were 48.44 in the positive category. Students' cognitive abilities have increased with an N-gain value of 0.64 in the moderate increase category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the STEAM-based homeostatic module is effective in improving students' cognitive abilities. The results of the analysis using the anova test showed that there were differences in the average learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class.
