Abstract

The current development of technology provides great opportunities in the field of education, one of which is through educational game media. This research aims to design and develop an Android-based educational game that can be used as an interactive learning medium for early childhood, specifically for students of Pajar Harapan Kindergarten in South Bengkulu Regency. This game features a picture guessing concept with three main themes: names of animals, names of fruits, and Indonesian national heroes, where players must arrange letters or answer multiple-choice questions based on the images displayed. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Testing results indicate that this game can enhance children's interest in learning by presenting material in a fun and interactive manner. Feedback from teachers and students regarding this application is also positive, indicating that the game is effective as an alternative learning medium. It is hoped that this application can continue to be developed and used more widely in early childhood education environments

Abstract

Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu, as a higher education institution in the health sector, requires fast, stable, and secure internet access to support various academic activities such as e-learning, research, and campus administration. Students and lecturers heavily rely on the wireless network to access digital resources, conduct online communication, and manage academic information. The current wireless network infrastructure at Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu consists of 37 Ruijie brand Access Points (APs) distributed across the campus buildings. All APs operate on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and use IEEE 802.11ac/n standards to support high-bandwidth needs. These APs are utilized for academic learning activities, accessing academic resources, and administrative services for students, lecturers, and academic staff. The quality of the wireless network at Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu is considered excellent, with high download and upload speeds indicating the network's capability to handle bandwidth-intensive internet activities. A ping value below 20 ms demonstrates very low latency, allowing for fast and real-time data communication. Based on the analysis using the Quality of Service (QoS) method, the results show that the wireless network performance at Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu is highly satisfactory in terms of packet loss, delay, jitter, and throughput

Abstract

The use of computer networks at SMK Negeri 3 Kota Bengkulu increases the need for security against threats such as illegal access and DoS/DDoS attacks. This study implements a Mikrotik firewall using Filter Rules, Raw Rules, Mangle Rules, and DDoS limits using the Security Life Cycle (SLC) method.Test results show that Filter Rules are effective in blocking illegal access, Raw Rules are efficient in handling volumetric attacks because they work before connection tracking, and Mangle Rules are useful for traffic management. The application of DDoS limits has been proven to reduce the number of excessive connections so that the network remains stable.This study proves that the Mikrotik firewall can enhance school network security and can serve as a reference for implementing more comprehensive security policies

Abstract

Application for measuring user satisfaction of the Legal Documentation and Information Network website (JDIH) Using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method, it can assist the National Legal Documentation and Information Network in measuring the satisfaction of users of the Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIH) website and can identify and understand the use of the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method in measuring the satisfaction of users of the Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIH) website. In applying the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method to measure the satisfaction level of JDIH website users, a web-based application was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, which can be accessed online via the internet at https://kepuasanpengguna-jdih-bengkulutengahkab.online/. Based on testing using the black box method, the results show that the functionality of the application for measuring user satisfaction with the Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIH) website has performed as expected and can analyze satisfaction ratings to obtain measurement results for the level of user satisfaction with the Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIH) website.

Abstract

In a school, the ranking of outstanding students is usually only selected based on their final grades, as is the case at SMK 02 Bengkulu City. The selection of outstanding students at SMK 02 Bengkulu City is only based on report card grades ranked 1 to 5. This selection process has many opportunities to make wrong decisions because the student selection process is only based on one aspect, namely the student's final grades, while the attitude and achievement scores obtained outside of school are not taken into consideration as additional criteria for determining students who are considered outstanding and receive scholarships. This means that there is a high probability that the selected outstanding students do not meet the desired standards and do not get the best candidates. The purpose of this study is to provide an alternative way for schools to determine outstanding students so that it is not only based on academic grades, and there is no cheating in the selection of outstanding students. The method used in this study is the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method. The results of this study show that the PSI method can provide the best results from the predetermined criteria and weights.

Abstract

Mobile-based applications enable students and lecturers to access information and conduct various academic activities anytime and anywhere, as long as they are connected to the internet. This research aims to design and build a hybrid mobile-based thesis title submission application using the Ionic framework to simplify and expedite the process. The thesis title submission process in higher education is often still done manually, which is time-consuming, prone to administrative errors, and makes it difficult for students to monitor the application status. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This application provides features for students to submit titles, view application status, and receive approval or rejection notifications from their supervisors. The supervisors can also accept, reject, or provide comments on the application. Test results indicate that the application runs well on the Android platform and is considered responsive and user-friendly by users. With this application, the thesis title submission process becomes more efficient, transparent, and digitally documented.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based drug sales system at Cahaya Farma Pharmacy, equipped with a drug inventory prediction feature to assist the pharmacy in more efficient stock management. The system was developed using the PHP programming language with MySQL database support for data storage, and employs the Multiple Linear Regression method as an analytical tool to estimate future drug inventory needs. Test results showed the method was effective in predicting drug inventory levels. In the January 2025 test, the prediction for Amoxicillin 500mg Tablets yielded 32 results compared to the actual data of 40, with an accuracy rate of 80% (Good category). Meanwhile, the prediction for Paracetamol Tablets yielded 22 results from the actual data of 27, with an accuracy rate of 81.48% (Good category). These results demonstrate that the Multiple Linear Regression method is capable of representing the relationship between sales, purchases, and inventory variables with a good level of accuracy, thus providing a basis for decision-making regarding drug stock management at Cahaya Farma Pharmacy

Abstract

The Communication, Information, and Statistics Agency of Bengkulu Province are a local government agency that plays a role in managing public information and supporting the development of digital services. One of the agency's important needs is the availability of competent expert programmers to support the operation and development of information systems. This study aims to develop a web-based decision support system using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter Framework and MySQL database to facilitate the selection process of expert programmers. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method was applied to produce objective assessments based on several criteria, namely age, work experience, certificates, portfolios, interviews, and competency tests, with the greatest weight given to the competency test aspect. A passing grade of 0.75 was set as the threshold for determining which applicants met the qualifications. The results of the study show that the system is capable of automatically calculating scores and rankings according to the predetermined criteria weights. The selection process is faster, more objective, and reduces the potential for errors compared to manual methods. In addition, the system reduces the need for manual recording, thereby increasing administrative efficiency. Thus, this decision support system has been proven to assist agencies in determining prospective programmer experts more accurately and transparently, and has the potential to be applied to the selection process in other government agencies.

Abstract

The environment plays a vital role in supporting the quality of life. However, uncontrolled development and human activities have led to a reduction in green open spaces and a decline in the quality of residential environments. This situation is also felt by the community in RT 13, Betungan Village, Bengkulu City, who face limited vegetation cover and increasing environmental pressures. This community service activity aims to improve environmental quality through tree planting as a greening effort while simultaneously raising public awareness of the importance of environmental conservation. The activity implementation method is carried out through several stages, namely identifying environmental problems, activity planning, implementing tree planting through mutual cooperation, and maintenance and evaluation. The planting activity actively involved the community service team and the local community. The results of the activity showed that all tree seedlings were successfully planted and received a positive response from residents. Community participation was evident in direct involvement in the activity and commitment to sustainable plant care. Overall, this activity has had a positive impact on increasing green cover, creating a more beautiful environment, and increasing public awareness and concern for environmental conservation.

Abstract

The development of information technology is essentially aimed at making it easier for communities to access accurate information. In the context of village administrative governance, manual population data management often causes various issues such as recording errors and inefficiency. This study aims to design and develop a web-based population information system using the waterfall development method, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is built using PHP programming language, MySQL database, Visual Studio Code editor, and XAMPP server. The result shows that data recording processes become faster, more accurate, and less prone to duplication. The developed website, https://kantordesarantaukadam.online, allows population services to be efficiently performed and accessed online by village officials and residents. Hence, the system improves the quality of public services and supports the digitalization of village administrative processes.
