Abstract

Many differences between the philosophy of Hinduism in Bali and the religious understanding of the younger generation with the older generation. Where there has been a change because of the ritual performed by Hindus, especially among the younger generation. While on the other hand rituals by several groups including farmers (in the subak organization) is still something that is still being done and taboo to be broken. Just one case in Subak Wongaya Betan who still believes that the spirit of rituals is associated with their implementation in the field of agriculture (Martiningsih, 2011). The same phenomenon also happens in all around Indonesia such as in Eastern Indonesia. In some cases, the philosophy of community awareness in eastern Indonesia will drive a good impact on the quality of life of the community. The rituals based on the awareness of something profane which farmers believe determines the success of their farm. Subak Wongaya Betan still implements continuous rituals collectively and personally. These rituals are usually performed in the temple to water resources and the environment in areas of subak such as Subak Temple and family temple. In one growing season subak implement collective rituals such as (1) Mapag Toya (2) mesaba and nangluk merana . All of the rituals have to be conducted by subak's member in one season of plantation are around 12 rituals. In this case, the member of Subak presented the concept of rituals according to Hindu society and how the ritual activities can tighten the social relationship between the member of subak and the village's community. One of the advantages of this phenomena is when the spirit of ritual always stands in rural community engagement. The result of the case study in Eastern Indonesia on gender issues summaries that the role of woman still to improve especially in public role such as an accessibility of leadership, decision-making process.

Abstract

This research is entiled “Consumer Preferences of Siamese Citrus Fruit in the Market the traditional of Kreneng Denpasar City. More and more Siamese oranges are entering local and modern markt because it is favored by consumrs, but the demamd the typs of Siamese orangs vary according to the type of orange that is used has its own charactructic. Consumer preferences for attributes and the type of orange that will determine how big the fruit is received and attractive to consumers. By formulating the problem whether the attributes that are become preferences and the most dominant attribute as consumer preferences in buying Siamese oranges at the Traditional Market Kreneng Denpasar City. With the aim of knowing the attributes of Siamese oranges to analyze the most dominant attribute as a preference in the Kreneng People’s Market Denpasar City. Research in conduted’ with 80 consumers, using judgment sampling technique the analytical method used in research on consumer preference on the attributes of Siamese oranges using a likert scale consisting of from a scor of one to five, while to determine the attributes of citrus fruit. Which is in accordance with consumers preference, multi-attribte analysis is fish block. The result of this study are that attributes that become consumers preference, namely; taste, price, color and size are that the most dominant consireded by consumers in buying Siamese oranges at Traditional Market Kreneng Denpasar City is the attribute of taste, with the highest of 16,7

Abstract

ABSTRAKPermasalahan lingkungan yang ada saat ini tidak dapat dipungkiri merupakan dampak dari kepentingan pembangunan akibat pertambahan jumlah penduduk dan kebutuhan akan ruang. Tidak terkontrolnya peningkatan jumlah timbulan sampah berkorelasi dengan produksi sampah baik sampah rumah tangga, sampah industri maupun sampah lainnya yang berkaitan dengan berbagai kegiatan masyarakat. Penting dilakukan upaya menemukan solusi yang tepat dalam rangka penyehatan lingkungan. Salah satunya adalah dengan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah baik organik maupun anorganik melalui metode model Tecnology Transfer (TT), dan penerapan Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG). Pengelolaan sampah organik dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi pupuk organik cair dikenal dengan mikroorganisme lokal (MoL), sedangkan untuk sampah anorganik dapat dilakukan pemilahan yang akan memberikan keuntungan ganda yaitu berkurangnya beban lingkungan akibat sampah dan bisa menjadi berkah bagi masyarakat karena dapat memberikan nilai tambah dalam hal financial.Kata kunci: sampah, pemberdayaan masyarakat, kesehatan lingkungan, berkahABSTRACTThe current environmental problems, indeed, is considered as the impact of development interests due to increase in population and the need for space. The uncontrolled raise in amount of waste correlates with either production of household, industrial, or other kind of waste related to various activities done by society. It is important to make efforts to find the right solution in the context of environmental health. One of them is by empowering the community in both organik and inorganik waste management through the Technology Transfer (TT) model, and the application of Effective Technology (ET). Management of organik waste, seen as the products, can be used as liquid organik fertilizer known as local microorganisms (Mikroorganisme Lokal; MoL), while for inorganik waste sorting, in result, will either provide a dual advantage of reducing environmental burden due to waste or being an advantage for the community for providing add-value in financial terms.Keywords: garbage, community empowerment, environmental health, advantage

Abstract

ABSTRAKIndonesia memiliki ragam budaya yang sangat bervariasi, mulai dari etnis, agama, tradisi, kesenian, sampai pada industri tekstil. Salah Satu kebanggan industry tekstil tradisional Bali adalah kain tenun ikat yang disebut Endek dan Songket Bali. Jenis kain tenun ini memiliki nilai historis yang adiluhung karena konon setiap perempuan Bali diharuskan memiliki ketrampilan menenun. Keterampilan menenun ini merupakan salah satu persyaratan seorang perempuan Bali dapat melakukan pernikahan. Tradisi ini kemudian memberikan efek semakin menyebarnya keterampilan menenun masyarakat perempuan Bali, yang kemudian menghasilkan beragam karakter desain di masing-masing daerah di Bali. Setiap kabupaten di Bali memiliki ciri khas desain yang menunjukkan karakter daerah masing-masing. Setiap kabupaten menonjolkan cirri khas daerahnya melalui goresan desain pada setiap lembar kain tenunnya. Keberagaman ini sangat positif dalam menambah khasanah desain dan kebergaman jenis kain tenun Bali. Keberagaman ini akhirnya menghasilkan corak yang sangat variatif sehingga memudahkan konsumen untuk menentukan pilihan. Selain itu persaingan penjualan menjadi sehat karena setiap hasil tenun daerah di Bali memiliki ciri khas. Program Pengembangan Produk Ekspor (PPPE) yang dilaksanakan oleh Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar bekerjasama denga Politeknik Bali mengidentifikasi beberapa kendala pengerajin dalam melakukan pengembangan desain, dan teknik pewarnaan. Salah satu alternative yang sudah mulai dipahami oelh beberapa pengerajin adalah teknik pewarnaan Airbrush. Program pendampingan telah dilakukan di UD Anugrah dan UD Arta Darma dalam pewarnaan dengan teknik Airbrush. Air- brush mempunyai banyak kegunaan yang sangat beragam. Contohnya adalah untuk memperbaiki foto, sebagai pengecatan seni arsitektur, pembuatan sampul majalah, mewarnai ukiran, dan desain sampul kaset. Tidak menutup kemungkinan juga untuk membuat iklan billboard, melukis diatas body otomotif, bahkan hingga tato. Air brush dapat digunakan secara beragam tergantung kreatifitas dari pengguna/pelukisnya. Pewarnaan dengan teknik airbrush pada kerajinan endek memberikan banyak keuntungan bagi pengerajin terutama pada proses peawrnaan akan lebih mudah, proses mendisain lebih cepat dengan kualitas pewarnaan yang tidak terlalu berbeda dengan pewarnaan alam, apalagi kalau desain kain endek menggunakan pewarnaan tiga dimensi. Kata kunci: Air brush, Endek, Desain, SongketABSTRACTIndonesia has a wide variety of cultures, ranging from ethnicity, religion, tradition, art, to the textile industry. One of the pride of the traditional Balinese textile industry is the woven cloth called Endek and Songket Bali. This type of woven fabric has a noble historical value because it is said that every Balinese woman is required to have weaving skills. This weaving skill is one of the requirements of a Balinese woman to make a marriage. This tradition then gives effect to the increasingly spread of Balinese women's weaving skills, which then results in a variety of design characters in each region in Bali. Each district in Bali has a characteristic design that shows the character of each region. Each district emphasizes the distinctive features of the region through strokes of design on each piece of woven fabric. This diversity is very positive in adding to the design repertoire and style of Balinese woven fabrics. This diversity eventually produces a very varied style that makes it easy for consumers to make choices. In addition, sales competition is healthy because every weaving area in Bali has its own characteristics. The Export Product Development Program (PPPE) carried out by Denpasar Mahasaraswati University in collaboration with the Bali Polytechnic identified several constraints on craftsmen in developing designs, and coloring techniques. One alternative that has begun to be understood by some craftsmen is the Airbrush staining technique. Mentoring programs have been carried out at UD Anugrah and UD Arta Darma in coloring with Airbrush techniques. Air brush has many very diverse uses. An example is to improve photos, as painting art architecture, making magazine covers, coloring engravings, and cassette cover designs. It is also possible to make billboard advertisements, paint on automotive bodies, even tattoos. Air brush can be used in various ways depending on the creativity of the user / painter. Coloring with airbrush techniques on endek crafts provides many advantages for craftsmen, especially in the processing process, it will be easier, the process of designing faster with quality which is not too different from natural coloring, especially if the design of endek fabric uses three-dimensional coloring.Keywords: Air brush, Endek, Design, Songket

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: To analize the finansial feasibility of UD. Tahu Bali Mandiri, West Denpasar District, Denpasar city. And to find out the obtacles that exits in UD. Tahu Bali Mandiri, West Denpasar District, Denpasar City. The study was conducted at UD. Tahu Bali Mndiri, form Februasry to April 2022. The types of data used in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. The data sourse in this study are primary data and secondary data. 4 respondents. Data coletions in this study include observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The results showed that the efforts made by UD. Tahu Bali Mandiri is feasible to be cultivated. This is evidenced by the calculation of the value of Net Present Value (NPV) > or Rp. 23. 877. 699.-; the value of Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C) is 1,71 ; The Internal Rate of Renturn (IRR) has Value 29%. Suggested UD. Tahu Bali Mandiri Enterpreneurs can try to find to other suppliers who still provide cheaper prices than what enterpreneurs usually buy from suppliers. Enterpreneurs can try to reduce the value of the profits so the don’t burden consumers know what enterpreneurs have

Abstract

This study aims to determine the amount of added value,processing system,as well as the eligibility obtained by robusta coffee processing businesses in UD Cipta Lestari in producing various coffee products. Research conducted in the processing business UD Cipta Lestari which is  one of the small – scale umkm, which produces robusta coffee products in the Village of Pujungan, Subdistrict of Pupuan Tabanan Regency.Processed products from Robusta coffee analyzed were wet coffee beans,dry coffee beans, roasted coffee and packaged coffee.The results of this research analysis that the income of the robusta Coffee Processing Unit in the UD Cipta Lestari Village of Pujungan, Subdistrict of Pupuan Tabanan Regency for the production proses robusta coffee as big Rp. 154.578.400/year. with acceptance 400 kg wet coffee beans as big Rp.43.200.000/year. For 100 kg dry coffee beans for Rp.54.000.000/year, For 80 kg roasting koffee of Rp.67.200.000/year. And for 80 kg packaged coffee as big as Rp. 86.400.000 with total receipts as big Rp.250.800.000/year.Meanwhile, the added value analysis which is obtained by the robusta Coffee Processing Unit in the UD Cipta Lestari Village of Pujungan, Subdistrict of Pupuan Tabanan Regency on the product robusta coffee is Rp. 71.778.400 with added value ratio 71,78 %. With greater added value  ≥ 50% hence robusta coffee processing in UD Cipta Lestari provide added value.

Abstract

Indonesia is a wealthy country with thousands of islands and vast stretches of ocean.  Agriculture is a sector that plays a major role and influence in economic growth in Indonesia.  The agricultural sector consists of several subsector such as food crops, horticulture, forestry, plantations.  livestock and fisheries.  Horticulture is a subsector that has quite large potential for development.  Orange plant is one of the horticultural commodities.  Orange is a type of fruit that is most popular for Indonesian people.  The aim of this research is to improve production factors and characteristic factors that influence the production of Siam Oranges in Taro Village, Tegalalang district, Gianyar Regency.  This research was carried out in Taro Village, Tegalalang district, Gianyar Regency.  The respondents for this research were 30 farmers.  The method used in this research were descriptive and quantitative analysis and location selection was carried out by purposive sampling, that is deliberately.  The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data.  The analysis used in this research are  descriptive and quantitative analysis.  The results of this research were obtained in Taro Village, Tegalalang District, Gianyar Regency. The production factors that had a significant effect were the variable land area, organic fertilizer, inorganic fertilizer and pesticides, while the labor variable had no significant effect on the production of Siamese oranges.  Farmer factors, those are age, education, length of farming, number of family members, have no significant effect on Siamese orange production.

Abstract

Price fluctuations are a significant challenge for coffee farmers when selling their crops. These fluctuations affect the stability of producers' incomes and consumption levels, thereby increasing marketing risks. The method used in this research involves data analysis through observations, interviews with farmer respondents, literature review, and documentation throughout the study. Based on the research conducted with the Ulu Wae Village coffee farmer group, several obstacles were identified. These include rapid and unpredictable weather changes, pests, and diseases that commonly attack coffee plants, such as coffee fruit borers, leaf rust disease, and nematode infestations. One crucial aspect of marketing that needs attention to improve the flow of goods from producers to consumers is marketing efficiency. Improved marketing efficiency can reveal the price differences between what farmers receive and what final consumers pay. Coffee farmers are recommended to market Robusta coffee directly to consumers or form an association that can sell their production directly to consumers. Additionally, agricultural extension officers are expected to continuously provide strategies to manage pests and diseases and to anticipate adverse weather conditions, which are often significant obstacles for farmers cultivating Robusta coffee.

Abstract

Storynomics tourism is about packaging the beautiful charm of a tourist destination in an interesting story, so that it becomes an attraction for foreign tourists visiting places of interests in Indonesia. Every tourist destination in Indonesia has its own uniqueness and this can be packaged in the form of storynomics tourism which can promote tourism and the creative economy in Indonesia. The training and consultation of designing agritourism attraction programs with storynomics values reported in this paper aimed at preparing tourism programs, i.e. branding for Kampung Kopi Camp (KKC) and Yeh Nu Garden (YNG), two interesting tourist attractions at Batungsel village, Pupuan subdistrict, Tabanan regency, Bali province. Designing storynomics agritourism at Batungsel Village, Tabanan Regency, Bali was realized through several stages, namely (1) compiling tour packages connecting one place to another with the close routes, (2) telling the stories about Robusta coffee roasting and its local wisdom, and (3) developing agritourism high quality fruits at Batungsel village. All of these steps were applied in accordance with the main focus of the Community Empowerment Program designed to develop agritourism at the rural area of Bali.

Abstract

UMKM Bee Jamur Salah satu usaha budidaya jamur tiram yang berlokasi di Desa Peguyangan Kaja, Kecamatan Denpasar Utara, telah berdiri sejak 2016. Setiap tahun, permintaan jamur tiram terus meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan pariwisata dan restoran di Bali. Namun, peningkatan produksi ini juga menimbulkan masalah lingkungan, yaitu limbah baglog yang digunakan sebagai media tanam jamur tiram. UMKM Bee Jamur, limbah ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal dan hanya dibuang saja langsung ke tanaman. Padahal, limbah baglog mengandung unsur hara makro yang dapat diolah menjadi pupuk organik untuk memperbaiki kesuburan tanah dan pertumbuhan tanaman. Menanggapi permasalahan ini, kegiatan pengabdian memberikan edukasi kepada UMKM Bee Jamur mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan limbah dalam produksi jamur tiram untuk mencapai produksi tanpa limbah. Program ini dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan tentang manajemen pengolahan limbah baglog menjadi pupuk organik yang memenuhi standar kualitas. Selanjutnya, peserta mengikuti pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik berbahan limbah baglog menggunakan metode pengomposan aerobik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 88,3% dalam hal manajemen dan pembuatan pupuk organik dari limbah baglog. Mitra kini mampu mempraktekkan pembuatan pupuk organik dengan tepat sesuai prosedur. UMKM Bee Jamur semakin menyadari bahwa limbah baglog dapat diolah menjadi pupuk organik yang bernilai ekonomis, serta mendukung prinsip produksi tanpa limbah
