Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has almost affected all human activities in this world, one of which is the field of education. Various strategies in fulfilling education are implemented through an online system according to the health protocol recommended by the government. The strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of education using this online system are dynamic in itself for both tutors and students. This study aims to review how the process of implementing education using an online system. As researchers and practitioners of education, the implementation of learning with this online system has its challenges because it cannot meet face to face directly but the material presented must be understood by students. Tamansiswa in this case still inherits the teachings of Ki Hadjar Dewantara which in its implementation are very useful in online learning needs. The method of honing, loving, fostering in the implementation of learning is expected to be an effective strategy for the implementation of learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach so that researchers can describe and answer problems of a current phenomenon or event. Regarding the implementation of learning with an online system, the researcher uses one of the concepts of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's teachings, namely sharpening, compassion, fostering in single variables as well as correlation and/or comparison of various variables. It can be understood that the descriptive research method is a method used to tell the situation in the field supported by facts obtained by observing and examining in-depth to find understanding and the truth of the data.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic has experienced significant dynamics. Starting from learning strategies with systems in the network (online) to implementing the education system in a new way. Technology is developing very rapidly today, even humans can do anything with the technology. This is an advantage as well as a weakness that must be understood together in the world of education. The output of education is not only to make students smart but also to build mental, spiritual, and high integrity. For this reason, it is needed not only the ability to use technology but also to hone reason and mind so that they can have good character. Tamansiswa in this case still inherits the teachings of Ki Hadjar Dewantara which in its implementation is very useful for online learning needs. The Among system approach in the implementation of learning is expected to be an effective strategy for the implementation of the lesson in karawitan courses. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach so that researchers can describe and answer the problems of a phenomenon or current event. Regarding the implementation of learning with the online system, the researcher used a sample of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's teachings, namely the Among system and the Sariswara method in single variables as well as correlations and or comparisons of various variables. It can be understood that the descriptive research method is a method used to describe the situation in the field, supported by facts obtained employing observation and in-depth research to seek understanding and correctness of the data.

Abstract

In accordance with the mandate in the 1945 Constitution (amendment), every citizen has the right to education. This statement also applies to deaf people, where educational accessibility must be accommodated. The Soemeh application is here as an effort to provide educational accessibility for the deaf. This study aims to reveal the impact of using the Soemeh application on educational accessibility. This type of research uses a quantitative approach survey. The research population is the deaf disability community in Bandung, West Java. The sampling technique used a total quota of 20 respondents. Accessibility impact data was taken using a questionnaire instrument. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative. The results of the study indicate that the Soemeh application has a very high impact on educational accessibility for deaf people with the following details: (1) acceptance in the environment gets an average score of 3.35 including the very high category; (2) the ease of communication gets an average score of 3.35 including the very high category; (3) respect for deaf individuals gets an average score of 3.4 including the very high category; (4) future expectations to develop and achieve goals to get an average score of 3.5, including the very high category; (5) the achievement of independence gets an average score of 3.4 including the very high category; and (6) eliminating barriers and discrimination to get a score of 3.25 including the high category

Abstract

This study aims to determine the tendency of class V student achievement Gedangsari Gunungkidul elementary school districts that use the 2015/2016 school year and the instructional videos that use convetional learning. Reseacrh conducted in school districts Gedangsari with population of 442 and a sample of 120 students. The research used a Quasi Experiment Method. The data collection techniques using techniques documentation and test. Hypothesis testing using t-tes previous test in the form of analysis prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity of variance. The descriptive research result showed that the trend of learning achievement in social science that uses instructional videos included in the category of very high and the use of conventional learning in the high category. T-test result obtained = 5,734, p = 0,000. Because p ≤ 0,01 then comparatively there are significant differences of achievement social between using video learning media and the use of conventional media, it can concluded that there was an influence of using learning videos on the IPS learning achievement.

Abstract

 Abstract:This study aims to describe the characteristics of the type and method of decision makingin the education budgetTaman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Researchc arried out for six months with research subjects Ibu Pawiyatan chief, Chairman of the Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan, teachers at Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan, treasurer, some of the staff involved in the preparation of the budget, the parents of students involved in the sourcing offunds, and people who are always critical in every decision making and budgeting, both at the level ofthe Assembly Ibu Pawiyatan or in part Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan. Data were collected by in depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed with data analysis techniques Hubermanand Milesversion consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results showed that the characteristics of the type of education budget decision making principals is situational, sometimes using his authority, but incertain situations involving subordinates democratically. The results also showthat the characteristics of the education budget decision making method is selective minority principals, seniority, and scientific authoritarian.

Abstract

 Abstract:This research aims to enhance the activity of learning and learning outcomescivic education  (PKn) using active learning strategies in the type of Index Card Match Elementary School VI students Potorono , Bantul . This research was classroom action research was conducted in two cycles . Subjects in the study were students of class VI Semester Elementary School Potorono odd numbering 30 students . The object of this research is the activity of learning and learning outcomes Civics . Data was collected using observation sheets, tests and documentation . The data analysis technique observation sheet is done by calculating the percentage of each indicator , for the achievement test is done by calculating the average grade . The results of the study shows that after application of active learning type of index cards match , active learning and learning outcomes has increased . Judging from the result of an increase in the average percentage of the activity of students in the first cycle of 63.89 % , an increase in cycle II to 80.56 %. The results of studying the average value before action 59.36 , an increase in the first cycle to 67.86 , rising again in the second cycle becomes 75.13 . Thus it can be said that the study of this class action succeeded in increasing the activity of learning and learning outcomes PKn in Elementary School VI students Potorono Bantul , because they have met the success criteria specified .

Abstract

 Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the improving of learning activities of PKn by using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) among the sixth grade students of state elementary school 4 Karangduwur Petanahan, Kebumen. The research methodology was by using action research with collaborative style and it was done in two cycles. The subjects of this research were 23 students of State Elementary School 4 Karangduwur Petanahan, Kebumen grade VI in even semester and it consists of 11 male students and 12 female students. The object of this research was the students learning activities in Civic Education Material by using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning Style. This research used Kemmis and MC Taggart Style. The steps were planning, realization, observation, and reflection. The technique of the data collection in this research was done by using observation sheets and documentation. The technique of data analysis was the observation sheets which were observed during the learning process from the beginning till the end of the class and it was done with percentage in each indicator. The finding of the research show that after applying this Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning Style in State Elementary School 4 Karangduwur Petanahan, Kebumen grade VI, learning activities has improved. It is indicated by the improving in the average percentage of student active learning in its cycle. It is indicated in the cycle I is 65,5% and it has improved in the cycle 2 become 81,8%. By this, it can be concluded that this classroom action research can improve the Civic Education learning activities of State Elementary School 4 Karangduwur Petanahan, Kebumen grade VI because it has completed success indicators, i.e. 75% of success indicator.

Abstract

 Abstract: The objectives of this study were to describe (1) learning activities and (2) learning achievement of IPS by using picture and picture model among the sixth grade students of state elementary school 1 of Muntihan Gantiwarno Klaten. This study was a classroom action research. The data were collected by using observation, test, and documentation methods. The data quantitative from the results of observation were analyzed by using quantitative analysis by looking for the average and percentage, while the analysis of learning achievement used descriptive analysis by looking for the average and the students’ tasks. This study shows that (1) the percentage of each activity aspects increased. The average of students who did the activities in pre cycle was 10 students or 10% in fair category. In cycle 1, there were 15 students with the percentage 63% in high category, and in cycle II, there were 18 students or 77% in very high category.  (2) The average score of pre cycle was 64.78 and became 71.30 in cycle I with the success level increased 6.52%. The average of cycle II was 71.30 in cycle I and became 78.83 with the success level increased 7.53%. Based on those averages, the averages of learning activities was ≥ 70% and learning achievement of IPS was up to school standard score 70.

Abstract

 Abstract: This research aims to determine the suitability of text book grade IV Elementary School theme of Wonderful Togetherness with core competencies in the curriculum of  2013. Type of this research is a descriptive qualitative content analysis in the form of. The object of this research is to text book grade IV Elementary School theme of Wonderful Togetherness. Data retrieval is done in this study use techniques of observation and engineering library. Research instrument is the researchers themselves, researchers analyze to text book grade IV Elementary School theme of Wonderful Togetherness publisher by Kemendiknas. The results of showed that not all the material on the subjects presented in the book grade IV Elementary School theme of Wonderful Togetherness complies with curriculum of 2013. Some of the lesson have yet to charge according to the curriculum of 2013 is Civic Education  (PKn), Art and Culture and Creating Handicraft (SBdP), Mathematics (Matematika) and Sport Physical Education and Health (PJOK) in sub theme 1 is Cultural Diversity My People. While on sub theme 2 Togetherness in Diversity  that is not in accordance with the curriculum is Art and Culture and Creating Handicraft (SBdP), Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), Mathematics (Matematika), and Sport Physical Education and Health (PJOK). And sub theme 3 Am Grateful for Diversity is Art and Culture and Creating Handicraft (SBdP), Social Sciences (IPS), and Mathematics (Matematika).

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a picture of the proccess planting values Ketamansiswaan trought school culture at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta. This study a qualitative research study used to examine the condition of natural object. The subjects of this study consisted of one principal, one teacher of karawitan and tembang, one teacher  of dance and dolanan anak, five classroom teacher and three student representing classes four and five. The data obtained are teseted its validity by increasing persistence, triangulation, and  using reference material. The result showed that in SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta.  The proccess of planting values Ketamansiswaan trought school culture at SD Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta are (1) proccess of planting values Ketamansiswaan trought school culture by habituation and include students in the school programs and activities and throught learning, (2) the values of Ketamansiswaan are formed kodrat alam, independence, culture, nationality, and humanity, (3) obstacles facing factors science of tecnology, material, parents, human resources, lack of time, gaps and diversity, the solution by infussing as many cultures as possible, collect HP, includding work shop activities and training Ketamansiswan, meeting with parents of students, varied learning methods, seating position, and learning tailored to the willingness and ability of students.
