Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of cooperative learning model of Think Talk Write in writing exposition text at grade VII ofMTsS Diniyah Pandai Sikek. The method of this research is an experimental method with a quasi experiment type. The result of this research shows that there is an influence of cooperative learning model of think talk write in writing exposition text for students at grade VII at MTsS Diniyah Pandai Sikek at significant level 95% with degree of freedom (n1+n2) -2, that is ttable<tvalue(1,70 <7,48). Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted because the results of testing the hypothesis prove that the value of ttabel is smaller than tvalue. Kata Kunci: pengaruh, kooperatif, think talk write, teks eksposisi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to discribe the using of preposition and conjunction in the expotition text as class VII at SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The result of this research is found that the using of preposition that is states of meaning of whex a place, direction from, purpose direction, comparison, subject, and restriction. The conjunction that is which used are intra-sentence conjunction and antar-sntence conjunction. The student still can not using preposition and conjunction correctly. Kata kunci : kata tugas, preposisi, konjungtor

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was to (1) describe the level of listening comprehension skills of the text description of  the seventh grade students of  SMP Negeri 2 Bayang  (2) to describe the skill level of writing the description text of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Bayang; and (3) to describe the correlational of listening comprehension skills of the description text skill of  writing text description of student of class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Bayang. Theories used in this research are skill, listening comprehension of description text, writing skill of description, correlation skill listening comprehension text description to skill of writing text description of student class VII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang.This research type is quantitative research by using descriptive method. An descriptive method with correlation approach. The population in this study is the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Bayang registered in the academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 218 students. The sample of this study amounted to 40 students. The sampling of this research was done by propotional random sampling technique. The data of this research is score of skill listening comprehension result in the form of objective test and score of skill writing skill in the form of performance test of class VII student of SMP Negeri 2 Bayang. Based on the research result. It is also evident in the implementation of learning that shows the interrelationship between one another.      Kata kunci: Keterampilan Menyimak; Keterampilan

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is as follows. First, describe reading skills in understanding the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang. Second, describe the writing skills of exposition text of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang. Third, analyze the correlation of reading skills understanding exposition text and exposition text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive methods. Research design is correlational research. The sample of this study amounted to 40 people. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling. The instruments used in this study are objective tests for reading skills in understanding exposition text and performance tests for text writing skills exposition. Data were analyzed by percentage formula, formula for calculating average, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results of this study are the following three things. First, the reading skills of understanding the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang were of good quality, with an average score of 77.64. Secondly, the writing skills of exposition text of grade VIII students of Padang Public Middle School 28 are more than qualified, with an average value of 73.38 below the KKM (75). Third, there is a positive and significant relationship between reading skills understanding exposition text and exposition text writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 28 Padang at a significant level of 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) = n-1 because t count> ttable is 6.70> 1, 68.  Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman Teks Eksposisi,                        Keterampilan Menulis Teks Eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to describe: (1) The form of expressive speech acts, (2) Strategy speak used in Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs. The research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The methods used in data collection is a method refer to. The data collection technique is a technique involved refer free conversation (SBLC), record, and record. Sources of data in this study is a Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs (ILK) in Trans7. Expressive utterances of speakers in Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs.Teknik used as the data used to analyze the data as follows: (1) Identify, (2) Classification, (3) Interpreting, (4) discussion, and (5) Draw conclusions. Based on the findings, we can conclude the following. (1) There are six forms of expressive speech acts used in Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs, namely expressive speech acts to thank, congratulate, apologize, praise, criticize, and invited. Expressive speech acts the most predominant use is expressive speech acts criticized and least used is expressive speech acts apologize. (2) There are four strategies bertutur used in Talk Show Indonesia Comedy Clubs, which speak frankly without further ado in the context of the speaker more powerful solidarity is already familiar, speak frankly with the preamble of politeness positive in the context of the speaker more powerful solidarity not yet familiar , speak frankly with the preamble of negative politeness in the context of solidarity is more powerful speaker yet familiar, and spoken vaguely in the context of a more powerful speaker yet familiar solidarity. Speak widely used strategy is the strategy speak frankly without further ado in the context of a more powerful speakers of solidarity is already familiar. Kata kunci: tindak tutur ekspresif, Indonesia Lawak Klub

Abstract

The purpose of this study consists of three things as follows.  First, describe the knowledge about the level of ability of the announcement of class VII students of SMP Negeri 16 Padang. Second, describe the level of writing skill of class VII SMP Negeri 16 Padang. Third, analyze the relationship of knowlagde about the announcement with the skill of writing the data of class VII student of SMP Negeri 16 Padang.  This research type is quantitative research with descriptive method. The design of this research is correlational design. The population in this study is the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 16 Padang registered in the academic year 2016-2017. The sample in this research by using random sampling technique. The variable of this research is knowlagde of announcement as variable X (indenpendent variable) and writing achievement as variable Y (dependent variable). The data of this research is score of knowlagde test result about student announcement of class VII SMP Negeri 16 Padang and score of skill test result of student data of class VII SMP Negeri 16 Padang.       Kata kunci: hubungan, pengetahuan tentang pengumuman, menulis      pengumuman.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is purpose to describe the influencing of using copy the master technic for writing poetry text ability for students class X SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. The kind of this research is quantitative. The research uses experiment method which emphasizes on semu design experiment for one group pretest posttest design. There are three result on the research are (1) the students’ ability in writing poetry text before using copy the master technic at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya is low and grades HC with average 50,40, (2) the students’ ability in writing poetry text after using copy the master technic at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya  is  high  and  grades  LdC  with  average  73,12,  and  (3)  the significant influenced from using copy the master technic writing poetry text ability for students class X SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe (1) the accuracy of the sentence in an argument paper of Class X students of SMAN 3 City Solok terms of proper reasoning, (2) the accuracy of the sentence in an argument paper of Class X students of SMAN 3 City Solok terms of precise language, and (3) the accuracy sentence in an argument paper of Class X students of SMAN 3 City Solok terms of proper reasoning and precise language. The data in this study are sentences in an argument writing class X SMAN 3 Solok. Data collected by the method refer to the written test techniques. The findings in this study as follows: (1) the accuracy of the sentence in an argument essay class X SMAN 3 Solok of reasoning as very precise terms (87.84%), (2) the accuracy of the sentence in terms of linguistic relatively less (26.01% ), (3) the accuracy of a sentence based on indicators of the accuracy and precision of language reasoning as very less (21.28%)

Abstract

This research is proposed to described the third year students’ reading comprehension at SMP Negeri 3 Linggo Sari Baganti, to describe the third year students’ review ability at SMP Negeri 3 Linggo Sari Baganti, and to analyze the correlation between students’ reading comprehension and review ability at SMP Negeri 3 Linggo Sari Baganti, this research used qualitative approach with coorelational method. Sample of this research was determined using proportional random sampling which taken 15% of the amount of the students each class. Based o research findings and data analysis, it can be inferred as follows: first, the ability of students reading comprehension at SMP Negeri 3 Linggo Sari Baganti can be classified as “good” (70,10). Second, the ability of students’ review can be classified as “good” (73, 88). Third, there is a significance correlation between the third year students’ reading comprehension and students’ review ability at SMP Negeri 3 Linggo Sari Baganti which its reliability 95%.

Abstract

There are three purposes of this study were to (1) describe the pattern of declarative Minangkabau language sentence for five years old children (2) describe the pattern of interogative Minangkabau language sentence for five years old children, and (3) describe the pattern of imperative Minangkabau language sentence for five years old children. Data were collected by using listening methods that are listening-speaking methods and free listening that included speaking. The subjects of this study were one person. Based on the result of study and explanation, it were concluded; The first, the pattern of declarative Minangkabau language sentence for five years old children were 10 pattern. Declarative sentence for five years old children consist of 1-9 spoken words. The second, the pattern of interrogative Minangkabau language sentence for five years old children were 5 pattern. Interrogative sentence for five years old children consist of 1-6 spoken words. The third, ,the pattern of imperative Minangkabau language sentence for five years old children were6 pattern. Imperative sentence for five years old children consist of 1-5 spoken words.
