Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa membuat keputusan, membandingkan dan memecahkan masalah  pada materi kalor dengan diterapkan model Discovery Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 20 siswa kelas X di salah satu SMA di kota Singkawang. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, siswa telah mengisi pertanyaan mengenai materi kalor pada tes yang berbentuk tes uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yaitu pada indikator membuat keputusan dengan skor N-gain 0,37 dengan kategori sedang, indikator membandingkan dengan skor N-gain 0,39 dengan kategori sedang, indikator pemecahan masalah dengan skor N-gain 0,33 dengan kategori sedang.Hasil penelitian ini bisa menjadi referensi bagi peneliti masa depan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This activity was a socialization and training to citizen in order to apply computer into learning process in the elementary schools. This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for the use of ICT especially computer and internet and foster interest and motivation of students to learn. The target in this task were all of students of SDN 62 in East Singkawang Sub-District. The methods used in PPM activities are briefing and simulation. The advantage of this activity could be obtained by participation of students in this social activities was provided the knowledge and skills on implementation of ICT as a tool of learning so that elementary school students more skilled in their class. These training activities can also contribute to the advancement and development of technology

Abstract

This study aims to determine the student's study habits on social studies learning achievement in class V SDN 04 Singkawang Tengah. In this study, the subjects used were 5 subjects who were able to provide the data that the researchers wanted. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that students' learning habits on social studies learning achievement in class V SDN 04 Singkawang Tengah have something to do with indicators of study habits, namely: the first indicator, there are 60% of these students have read and made notes well, so that the achievements achieved by category/criteria well, this is evidenced from the results of student and teacher interviews, and further strengthened by the value of student report cards with grades 1-3. The second indicator, 100% of these students do not concentrate in learning, so the results achieved with the category/criteria are not good. This can be seen from the value of student report cards with grades 1-5. The last indicator is that 60% of these students have done their assignments well, and their learning achievements are in good categories/criteria, this can be proven from the results of student and teacher interviews, as well as reinforced by student report cards grades 1-3. Thus, it can be concluded that students' study habits towards social studies learning achievement are good. Keywords: Study habits, learning achievement, Social.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 93 Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 93 Singkawang yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, angket kemandirian belajar, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu siswa dengan kategori kemandirian belajar tinggi sudah cukup mampu dalam memenuhi keempat indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis dimana siswa mampu memahami serta mengekspresikan makna dari suatu permasalahan, mampu menganalisis, mengevaluasi sebuah pernyataan serta menarik kesimpulan dengan baik. Untuk siswa kategori kemandirian belajar sedang memiliki kemampuan memahami serta mengekspresikan makna dari suatu permasalahan, menganalisis dan mengevaluasi suatu pernyataan tetapi tidak mampu menarik sebuah kesimpulan dari pernyataan yang ada. Kemudian untuk siswa kategori kemandirian belajar rendah hanya mampu memahami serta mengekspresikan makna dari suatu permasalahan dan mampu mengevaluasi atau menilai sebuah pernyataan tetapi tidak mampu untuk menganalisis dan menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan pernyataan yang ada. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar yaitu motivasi, minat, intelektual, kemandirian, dan konsentrasi.

Abstract

. This research aims to determine the effect of an environmentally based guided inquiry model on students' science process skills. Quasi Experimental research was conducted with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design- nonequivalent control group. Saturated sampling technique was used to determine the treatment class, namely class VA as the control class and class VB as the experimental class. Data collection was carried out using a written test in the form of short answer questions. For the data results obtained by the experimental class, the average pre-test score was 56 and the post-test score was 70. Meanwhile, the data results obtained by the control class had an average pre-test score of 52 and post-test score 58. Based on statistical tests using the SPSS test. effect size (ES), probability value (significance) is 0.89, so the Ho hypothesis is rejected, meaning the guided inquiry model has a significant effect on students' Science Process Skills.

Abstract

This research aims: 1) To identify whether there is an increase in reading literacy through indigenousization-based scrapbook media for class V students at SDN 26 Singkawang Barat, 2) To describe the level of implementation of indigenousization-based scrapbook media for increasing reading literacy for class V students at SDN 26 Singkawang Barat, 3) To describe the level of student response to indigenousization-based scrapbook media to increase the reading literacy of class V students at SDN 26 Singkawang Barat. This type of research is quantitative research using the Pre Experimental Design method. The population in this study was all class V of SDN 26 West Singkawang. The sample uses Saturated Sampling. Data collection techniques used student reading literacy essay tests, media implementation observations and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses N-Gain, percentage of implementation observations and percentage of student response questionnaires. The research results show 1) There is an increase in students' reading literacy after implementing indigenous-based scrapbook media with an average score of 0.67 with medium criteria, an N-Gain Score percentage of 67% with the interpretation of effectiveness being quite effective. 2) The level of implementation of indigenousization-based scrapbook media was carried out well as seen from the percentage at the first meeting of 98.61% with very good criteria and the percentage at the second meeting was 97.22% with very good criteria. 3) There is a positive response to indigenous-based scrapbook media to increase students' reading literacy. With a student response percentage of 83% with very good criteria. Based on the results of research data calculations, it can be concluded that indigenous-based scrapbook media has increased the reading literacy of class V students at SDN 26 Singkawang Barat.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Rani Ananda: Hubungan Lingkungan Teman Sebaya terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas V di SDN 86 Singkawang. Skripsi, ISBI Singkawang, 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) mendeskripsikan mengenai lingkungan teman sebaya siswa kelas V di SDN 86 Singkawang. 2) mendeskripsikan mengenai tingkat motivasi belajar siswa di kelas V di SDN 86 Singkawang. 3) mendeskripsikan hubungan lingkungan teman sebaya dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V di SDN 86 Singkawang.. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif yang bersifat korelasi dengan desain penelitian assosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VA dan VB SDN 86 Singkawang dengan jumlah 46 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik sampel jenuh, sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 46 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa angket adaptasi dari Hutagulung (2023) dan Sulam (2021). Teknik analisis data yaitu rata-rata keseluruhan dan korelasi Pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) lingkungan teman sebaya berada pada kategori cukup dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 71,74%, 2) motivasi belajar siswa berada pada kriteria sedang dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 58,29%, 3) terdapat hubungan antara lingkungan teman sebaya dengan motivasi belajar siswa yang dibuktikan berdasarkan nilai signifikansi yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 dengan nilai (Pearson Correlation) sebesar 0,721 dan menunjukkan tingkat kekuatan hubungan yang tinggi. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan rumus koefisien determinan hubungan antara lingkungan teman sebaya dengan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V di SDN 86 Singkawang sebesar 51,98%. Kata kunci: Lingkungan Teman Sebaya, Motivasi Belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model pemelajaran Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) berbantuan media audio visual terhadap literasi sains siswa sekolah dasar materi gaya kelas IV SD Negeri 23 Singkawang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 23 Singkawang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode true eksperimental dengan bentuk desain penelitian The Non-Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas IVA dan kelas IVC SD Negeri 23 Singkawang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel random sampling. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan literasi sains siswa antara yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) berbantuan media pembelajaran audio visual dengan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada materi gaya dengan hasil t_hitung= 2,5230 > t_tabel= 1.6730, 2) Model pembelajaran Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) berbantuan media pembelajaran audio visual berpengaruh tinggi terhadap literasi sains siswa pada materi gaya dengan hasil uji Effect Size = 2,1216 yang berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the profile of science literacy ability of grade V students of SDN 72 Singkawang, (2) assess the learning independence character of grade V students in the context of science literacy, and (3) explore the relationship between students' science literacy abilities and their independence character. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive, using instruments in the form of tests and questionnaires to measure both science literacy and the character of student independence. The results reveal that students' science literacy skills are still relatively low, with an average score of 36.26, indicating a need for targeted improvements. Additionally, students' independence in learning science also needs development. The study found a positive relationship between science literacy ability and the character of independence, where students with higher independence tend to have better science literacy skills. These findings suggest that fostering independence in learning is essential to improve science literacy. The research highlights the importance of developing more effective and integrated learning strategies to address both science literacy and student independence. This will not only improve academic performance but also help students become more self-directed learners, which is crucial for their overall educational development. The study emphasizes the necessity of creating a more engaging and supportive learning environment to enhance both aspects in primary education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there are differences and influences in using the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model assisted by TTS (Crossword Puzzle) media on the science and science learning of class V students at SDN 5 Singkawang as well as students' responses to the TGT learning model. The research used is quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SDN 5 Singkawang. This research sample uses samples based on class or also called Cluster Sampling. The data collection technique used in this research is a test technique in the form of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain and non-tests in the form of student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis in the form of t-test, effect size and descriptive percentage. The results of the research show that: 1) There are differences in the cognitive learning outcomes of students who use the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model with direct learning in science and science learning for class V students. This is shown based on the results of the polled t-test test calculation variant > is 9.125 > 2.017. 2) The TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model assisted by TTS (Crossword Puzzle) media in learning has a high influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of science and science subjects for class V students at SDN 5 Singkawang. This can be seen from the calculation of the effect size, namely 2.4944 and the criteria are high because 2.4944 is at ES > 0.8. 3) Positive student response to the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model assisted by TTS (Crossword Puzzle) media in class V elementary school. This is shown from the calculations that the percentage of student responses of 84% is included in the high category.
