Abstract

Emosi individu sangat mempengaruhi keputusan sosial seseorang.

Abstract

The effort to improve the minimum marriage age in BKKBN’s program aims to raise the minimum age for marriage. South Kalimantan has the highest percentage of women aged 20-24 who were married before the age of 18, at 17.63%, exceeding the national average of 12.21%. Banjar Regency ranks second for underage marriages, with 95 cases in Pemakuan Village. Factors contributing to early marriages include a lack of knowledge among teenagers about its impact and parental influence. To increase the knowledge and awareness of teenagers participating in the Mentoring Menyapa Muda program regarding the maturation of marriage age and the consequences of underage marriage. The PARAKI Gen-Z program is a youth empowerment initiative carried out in stages, including program socialization, training, and evaluation. These are conducted through lectures, video screenings, and Q&A discussions. The program evaluation assesses participants’ knowledge before and after the activities, as well as their awareness. Prior to the program, 16 participants (80%) had little understanding of the BKKBN’s definition of early marriage and the benefits of delaying marriage until the ideal age. The average pre-test score was 72.08, which increased to 88.33 after the program, indicating a score improvement of 16.25%. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the program significantly increased the knowledge of 19 out of 20 participants. Participants gained not only additional knowledge about early marriage in general but also its health impacts. The participants demonstrated an increase in knowledge regarding marriage age maturity and showed awareness of the importance of preventing the adverse effects of underage marriage.

Abstract

The future development of CCeU ULM needs to consider the nature of volunteers who do not want to continue to be in the organization. Therefore, retaining volunteers to continue to be actively involved and contribute to the organization is a challenge in itself. This study aims to empirically test the "HERO" training (Hope, Efficacy, Resiliency, Optimism) to increase the engagement of disaster volunteers. The instrument used to measure psychological capital is adapted from Cetin and Basim (2012), namely Psychological Capital Scale (R= 0.941). The scale used to measure the Work Engagement of Crisis Center Unit ULM volunteers was (R= 0.935). The respondents of this study were 53 members of the ULM Crisis Center Unit, divided into men and women, with criteria for 18-25 years. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a non-randomized one-group pre-test post-test design. Statistical analysis showed 0.699 >, 0.699 < 0.05, so it can conclude that there is no significant effect of HERO training on the work engagement of CCU FK ULM members. It means that other antecedents can lead to one's work engagement.

Abstract

Background: Changes in the financial governance status of more autonomous state universities require readiness for change in the management of state universities. Academic staff is an HR group that carries out administrative tasks in the state university’s management. The first factor of readiness for change individuals must have is to know that change will be beneficial for themselves and the organization. Aim: This study aims to determine the role of perceived impact of change on readiness for change in academic staff. Method: This research is a quantitative study with 254 subjects selected using Holt’s RFCQ adaptation scale and Vakola’s perceived impact of change adaptation scale as research instruments. The data were analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis technique via IBM SPSS. Findings: Perceived impact of change is proven to affect readiness for change in academic staff. If members perceive that change is positive and beneficial for themselves and their organization, they will be more ready to accept change. In addition, demographic factors have no effect on readiness for change.

Abstract

Young voters' low level of political knowledge, which impacts political participation, is still a phenomenon today. The influence of political knowledge on young voters' behavior is still being debated, and there is little empirical evidence, especially regarding political knowledge and voting behavior enhanced through specific educational programs. Therefore, an effective education program is needed to increase political knowledge and the desire of young voters to participate in general elections. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of educational programs in increasing political knowledge and shaping voting behavior among young voters in South Kalimantan Local Elections (Pilkada). We used a quasi-experimental research design by providing extension activities as an online educational intervention program to 41 participants. All participants took three measurement phases, starting from the pre-education program, post-education program, and post-Pilkada phase. The education program was conducted online by providing materials related to the reasons for using the right to vote, information on candidates, considerations for making choices, election techniques, and time and place for the election. The results of the analysis found that educational programs influenced the political knowledge and voting behavior of young voters. Thus, this educational program can significantly and effectively improve young voters' political knowledge and voting behavior.

Abstract

The competition in the global education market at the national level requires both public and private universities in the South Kalimantan region, as they must continue to strive to adapt to the demands of change and government policies if they want to survive. Enhancing services is essential for efficient university governance, particularly in the administrative domain. Traditionally performing routine work, non-academic staff must demonstrate an openness to change to fulfill changing service expectations. This study examines the variables that affect non-academic staff members' openness to change, emphasizing the functions of transformational leadership, transparent communication, and organizational trust. The research employs a quantitative design, with a cross-sectional survey design. The 251 participants were selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used include adapted scales such as the Openness to Change Scale, the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire Form 5X-Short, the Transparent Communication Scale, and the Organizational Trust Inventory-Short Form. The multiple linear regression was utilized to analyze the data. The results show that transformational leadership, transparent communication, and organizational trust collectively affected openness to change, but only organizational trust individually affected openness to change. Therefore, these factors must be carefully considered and maintained to enhance non-academic staff's openness to change within universities.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Household food consumption in Indonesia continues to be dominated by carbohydrate-based staples, while the intake of protein-rich foods remains relatively low despite their importance for achieving adequate nutritional quality. Differences in food prices, household expenditure, and demographic characteristics contribute to varying levels of access to nutritious foods across Indonesian provinces, shaping diverse demand behaviors for carbohydrate- and protein-rich commodities. Although numerous studies in Indonesia have applied demand system approaches such as AIDS to analyze food consumption, existing evidence remains varied in focus and scope, underscoring the need to understand how nutritional demand has been examined across different contexts. This study aims to identify factors that influence food demand systems in Indonesia, with a specific focus on commodities that serve as primary sources of carbohydrates and protein. It seeks to map how previous research has conceptualized and analyzed key determinants of nutritional demand to provide a clearer foundation for further empirical investigation. A narrative literature review with a structured search strategy was conducted to gather Indonesian studies examining household food consumption demand. Searches were carried out across major academic sources using predefined keywords related to food demand, consumption behavior, and economic determinants. Relevant articles were screened based on their analytical focus and methodological approaches, and the final selection was examined comparatively to identify recurring frameworks and determinants influencing nutrient-based food demand. The review found that food demand for carbohydrate- and protein-rich commodities in Indonesia is consistently shaped by prices, household expenditure, and demographic characteristics. The examined studies also indicated variations in responsiveness to economic factors across commodity groups, highlighting notable differences in the sensitivity of carbohydrate staples compared to protein sources. These patterns reveal a set of determinants repeatedly emphasized in the literature, signaling their relevance for guiding subsequent empirical modeling of nutritional food demand. Keywords: Food Consumption Demand, Nutritional Demand System, Carbohydrate and Protein Commodities, Household Economic Determinants.
