Abstract

The creative economy is a sector that has potential and is the latest source of economic growth as the government's solution to prevent the national economy from slowing down in recent years. There are several creative economy sectors that have an important role in increasing the growth of the creative economy in Indonesia. One indicator of the creative economy sector that has good performance is exports, where exports are a component of GDP. This means that if there is an increase in creative industry exports, then GDP originating from the creative economy will increase and ultimately increase national economic growth. Labor also plays an important role in increasing the growth of the creative economy. The aim of this research is to see the influence of exports and labor on the growth of the creative economy in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used is secondary data from 2010-2022. The research results show that the export variable has no effect on the growth of the creative economy, while the labor variable has a positive effect on GDP. If the labor variable increases by 1%, the growth of the creative economy in Indonesia will also increase by 0.07%.

Abstract

This study investigates the reaction of poverty to consumption and inflation in Indonesia, utilizing the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method to explore the dynamic relationships between these key economic variables. The analysis is based on time-series data spanning from 2012 to 2023, comprising a total of 340 samples from 34 provinces across Indonesia. The findings reveal that both consumption and inflation exert a significant influence on poverty levels, with effects observable in both the short and long term. Specifically, consumption and inflation demonstrate a statistically significant relationship at a 5 percent significance level in the short term. However, in the long term, inflation’s effect is identified at a slightly higher significance level of 10 percent, indicating its persistent but somewhat weaker influence compared to consumption. These results highlight critical insights into the economic mechanisms that drive poverty in Indonesia, underlining the pivotal roles of consumption patterns and inflationary pressures. The research emphasizes the importance of targeted economic policies to manage these variables effectively to reduce poverty. For instance, promoting sustainable consumption and mitigating inflation’s adverse impacts can foster greater economic stability and resilience among vulnerable populations. By addressing these factors, policymakers can implement more effective strategies to achieve equitable economic growth and social welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Non-Financial Reward System in Motivating Millennial Employees at Almuslim University. Millennial generation employees are employees born between 1981-1996 who are now starting to dominate the world of work. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. With the aim of evaluating the effectiveness of the non-financial reward system in increasing the work motivation of millennial employees at Almuslim University. The results of the study explain that there are 46 millennial employees in the Almuslim University environment, a general overview is obtained that female participation in this study is more dominant than male, where the percentage of women is 67.4 percent and men are only 32.6 percent. In terms of age, the majority of respondents are over 35 years old (60.9 percent), while those aged between 31-35 years are 26.1 percent, and the rest are 25-30 years old by 13 percent. Based on the results of the simple linear regression test, the significance value obtained is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. This indicates that non-financial rewards have a positive and significant influence on the work motivation of millennial employees at Almuslim University. This means that the better the non-financial reward system implemented, the higher the level of work motivation experienced by employees. The regression coefficient of 0.678 indicates that every one-unit increase in the non-financial reward variable can increase work motivation by 0.678 units.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the Islamic banking sector in Indonesia, marked by the establishment of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) due to the merger of three state-owned Islamic banks, reflects the increasing awareness of the importance of financial transactions based on sharia principles. In this context, monetary policy set by Bank Indonesia plays a crucial role in influencing the financial sector's stability, including the movement of Islamic bank stock prices. This study aims to analyze the impact of monetary policy, represented by inflation and exchange rate variables, on the stock price of Bank Syariah Indonesia from January 2022 to December 2024. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The F-test results indicate that inflation and exchange rates simultaneously have a significant effect on stock prices. Partially, inflation has a substantial adverse effect, while exchange rates have a considerable positive impact on the stock price of BSI. These findings underscore the importance of stable monetary policy management as a critical reference for investors in making investment decisions in the Islamic banking sector.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of e-commerce adoption and technology integration capability on the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with superior customer value serving as a mediating variable in a post-disaster context. The main issue addressed is the suboptimal use of digital technology by MSMEs in sustaining business operations following disasters, which often cause operational disruptions, declining demand, and limited market access. This study employed a quantitative explanatory approach involving 200 MSME owners, selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The novelty of this study lies in examining the mediating role of superior customer value in explaining the relationship between digital transformation and MSME sustainability under crisis conditions. The results indicate that e-commerce adoption significantly affects superior customer value (β = 0.384; p < 0.001) but has no direct effect on MSME sustainability (β = 0.039; p = 0.492). Technology integration capability significantly affects both superior customer value (β = 0.446; p < 0.001) and MSME sustainability (β = 0.148; p = 0.013). Superior customer value also has a significant positive effect on MSME sustainability (β = 0.644; p < 0.001). The model explains 50.1% of the variance in superior customer value and 59.1% of the variance in MSME sustainability. These findings suggest that post-disaster MSME sustainability depends more on the ability to create customer value than on technology adoption alone.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the response of poverty and income to rural credit bank distributors based on Indonesian demographics. The data used is panel data, a combination of time series and cross-section data. The time series data used is data from 2014-2024 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The regions analyzed in this study are Indonesia, which covers 34 provinces. The total sample in this study is 374 samples. The analytical method in this study uses the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model and uses time series data. However, this study uses the ARDL model in the form of panel data. The use of the ARDL model is to see the role of time, theoretical justification and the relationship between one variable and another. The results of the study indicate that poverty and income have a long-term effect on consumer credit distribution. This is evidenced by the probability value of (0.000). Meanwhile, in the short term, only the income variable influences credit distribution. This can be seen based on the 10 percent probability value level, which is 0.08.
